    液狀이온交換體 Amberite LAI을 chloroform에 10%로 묽혀서 鹽酸算性에서 Bi(III), As(III), Sb(III), Zn(II) 및 Fe(III)의 推出率을 試驗한 結果, Zn(II)는 2M에서 98%. As(III)는 7~14M에서 Sb(III)는 2~4M에서 , Fe(III)는 6~10M에서 蒼鉛과 定量的으로 分離되었다. 그리고 chloroform을 溶媒로 썼을 때는 xylene이나 hexane을 溶媒로 썼을때보다 더 急傾斜를 이루는 推出率曲線을 나타냈다. 各各의 不純物을 分離後 Zn(II)는 dithizone. As(III)는 Gutzeit method, Sb(III)는 brilliant green, Fe(III)는 thiocyanate에 依한 比色方法으로 定量하였다.

    The relative activity of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase in E. coli was measured at 340 $m\mu$ with a spectrophotometer. The synchronized E. coli cells in exponential phase were treated with Phage($T_2$) ghost, and used as a enzyme solution directly. This assay method supposed to be useful for the continuous determination of enzyme activity in E. coli.

    A new chelate compound, tris(8-bydroxyquinolino)molybdenum(III), [$Mo(C_9H_6ON)_3$], has been prepared by the method of electrolytic reduction of the acidic molybdate solution. Thermal decomposition products of the chelate has been studied by DTA and TGA method. It is concluded that the decomposition product is a yellowish green colored bis(8-hydroxyquinolino)dioxo molybdenum(VI), [$MoO_2(C_9H_6ON)_2$].

    2,3,4-Pentanetrionetrioxime was synthesized from 2,4-pentanedione(or acetylacetone) and its acid dissociation constants were determined in 50%(v/v) dioxane-water solvent mixture at $20{\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$. The color reactions of the ligand with divalent metal ions, Fe(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II), and Mn(II) were studied.

    On the extraction of humic acid from peat, the optimum conditions were studied and the effects of them on the characteristics of humic acid were also examined by means of infrared spectroscopy. 1. Pretreatment of peat with diluted 6-8% HCl solution for 5 hrs. prior to extraction with alcohol-benzol azeotropic mixture have resulted the better yield of humic acid. The water soluble Na-humates were obtained by the subsequent extraction with one hundred times quantity of caustic soda solutieon for 1hr. at 90 $^{\circ}C$. Thus the pure humic acids have been yielded approximately 40% (by wt.) from the raw peat. 2. In characteristics of humic acid, the chemical structure, mainly the contents of such functional groups as -COOH, -OH (phenol type), $-CH_2CO-$, $-CH_2{\cdot}O{\cdot}CH_2-$ and aromatic rings were varied according to the concentration of alkaline solution, temperature and time when the humic acids were extracted with alkali.

    Rate constants and activation parameters have been petermined for the chloride exchanges of benzyl chloride in 60, 70, 80 and 90 vol.% ethanol-water solutions. Results showed a good linearity when appiled to our general equation. The significance of this linear fit has been discussed in conjunction with the Dewar's relation which was derived from the PMO method.

    서울市內 河川水 및 工場排水中의 플루오르含量을 1968年 2月부터 同年 7月까지 比色法에 의하여 定量分析하였다. 이 地帶一圓의 平均 플루오르含量은 $0.07{\pm}0.03{\sim}0.29{\pm}0.05$ mg/l임을 알았고 이 汚染의 여러 源因에 대하여 論議하였다.

    Nucleophile의 親核性添加反應性을 정량적으로 연구하고자 3,4-methylenedioxy-$\beta$ -nitrstyrene에 대해 우선 ethylmercaptan과 isopropylmercaptan을 써서 그외 添加反應速度常數를 측정한 결과 ethylmercaptide와 isopropylmercaptide ion에 대해 각각 $6.82{\times}10^7M^{-2}$,$ sec^{-1}$, and $2.86{\times}10^7M^{-2}$,$sec^{-1}$를 얻었으며 염기성 뿐만 아니라 산성 촉매속에서도 그의 반응메카니즘을 잘 설명할 수 있는 속도식도 구하였다.

    親核性 添加反應性에 있어서의 mucleophile의 反應性을 정량적으로 연구하고자 前報에 이어 여러 pH에서 3,4-methylenedioxy-$\beta$-nitrostyrene에 n-propyl- 과 tert-butylmercaptan을 첨가시켜 그의 添加反應速度常數를 측정한 결과 n-propylmercaptide ion과 tert-butylmercaptide ion에 대해 각각 $1.26{\times}10^8$과 $3.98{\times}10^6\;M^{-2},\;sec^{-1}$를 얻었으며, 또 n-propyl 및 tert-butylmercaptan 분자의 添加反應速度常數로서 $7.07{\times}10^{-3}$과 $1.5{\times}10^3\;M^{-1},\;sec^{-1}$을 각각 얻었다. 한편 염기성 뿐만 아니라 산성용매 속에서도 그의 應速 메카니즘을 잘 설명할 수 있는 全體應速度式을 구하였다.

    액체구조의 천이상태 이론을 용융염에 확장시켜 액체없이 상태합을 유도하였다. 이 상태함을 액체할로겐화알칼리들에 적용시켜 증기압, 몰부피, 엔트로피등의 열역학적 성질을 계산한 결과 측정치와의 좋은 일치를 보여주었다.
