Since the most exclusive machines of the modern industries which require the nano precision rates are evolved from the machine tools, the design of the stable machine tool structure is very critical. Exclusive machines for the modern industries such as semiconductor, solar cell and LED have surface machining processes which are similar to the face cutting and grinding of conventional machine tools. This study was initiated to stabilize a milling machine structure and further to help design those exclusive machines which have similar machining mechanisms. The vibrations inherent to the machine tool structures hurt the precision machining as well as damage the longevity of the structures. There have been numerous researches in order to suppress the vibrations of machine tool structures using the extra modules such as actuators and dampers. In this paper, the dynamic properties are analyzed to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a machine tool structure which reflect the main reasons of the biggest vibrations under the given operating conditions. And the feasibility of improving the stability of the structure without using any additional apparatus has been investigated with minor design changes. The result of the study shows that simple changes based on proper system identification can considerably improve the stability of the machine tool structure.

Military and commercial unmanned vehicle navigation systems are being actively studied in the field of robotics. In this study, GPS-based path generation algorithm Film Festival and the system can compensate for the shortcomings of applying a map-based path plan, the unmanned vehicle navigation systems to improve the performance of path planning algorithms are introduced.

$CO_2$ Welding which uses $CO_2$ instead of inert gas is most widely used in industrial sites. Welding rod for $CO_2$ Welding is roughly divided into solid wire and flux cored wire. $CO_2$ Welding has higher efficiency than any other welding methods, and also economic and speedy to handle, that's why is used frequently for welding general structures. As most of studies about $CO_2$ Welding are focused on metallurgical changes of successful joints, they developed theories about the change of configuration on weld parts. This study is especially focused on not only the change of configuration on weld parts, but also the change of the penetrating depth through changing the position of welding torch. For inspection, applied AWS A5.20 E70-1 among welding wires and fixed moving angles of torch, but controled the values of voltage and the position of welding. Also Automatic Feed Mechanism is used for exact movement of material, specimen is a piece of steel for general structures. By measuring and analyzing the configuration of sliced section and the values of welding leg length and welding throat after welding, the outcome about the changes turned out.

Recently, it is possible for small sized and high speed diesel engines by development of commonrail system. And in order to increase the engine performance, the cylinder firing pressure is a tendency which increases. On the other side, the weight of engine becomes lightly in spit of high performance diesel engine. Therefore, the weight optimization for engine components is very important point on the design process. Also, the weight optimization must necessarily be considered the robust design against a fatigue failure. This paper focuses on the weight optimization of crankshaft according to web shape at the light duty diesel engine, and torsion characteristics of crankshaft is considered with 1D and 3D analysis tools.

Power consumption for wire gauge impeller in cylindrical agitated vessel was measured over a wide range of Reynolds number from laminar to turbulent flow regions. The power correlation were obtained agitation power input of WM4 at gassing condition in turbulent region, at gassing condition in transient region and at gassing condition in laminar region. Also the compared with effect of impeller diameter and blade width on agitation power input at gassing condition in turbulent region, at gassing condition in transient region and at gassing condition in laminar region.

This study has been experimented about refrigeration capacity difference. It has been used 3 method, Manual expansion valve, thermostatic expansion valve and capillary expansion valve, and tested under the same condition by using the performance testing of parallel expansion. In temperature change of the temperature room, thermostatic expansion valve method displayed the most lower temperature, $-18^{\circ}C$. In addition, the temperature, just before the expansion, also displayed the best result which was $4^{\circ}C$ lower than other expansion valve. In these results, it can be used for performance testing of parallel expansion refrigeration system.
