본 연구는 가입자망에 적용하는 CWDM 시스템에 대한 기본적인 소개와 제작한 시스템의 온도특성을 측정한것이다. 8채널과 16채널용 system을 제작하였으며 온도의 변화에 따른 광출력특성 및 파장변화특성을 측정하였다. -

최근 광통신 기술은 크게 진보하였다. 광통신 기술의 발전은 다양한 광부품들의 성능 향상 및 가격 저렴화를 불러일으켰으며, 이러한 광부품들은 광통신 기술 이외의 다양한 분야에서도 폭넓은 으용가능 성을 보이고 있다. 예를 들어, Photonics 기술을 활용하여 고전적으로 전기적 소자만을 활용하여 구현에 왔던 microwave 기능을 구현할 수 있으며, 이러한 시도는 새로운 형태의 microwave 활용 시스템 구조를 가능케 한다. 본 노문에서는 연세대학교 Microwave Photonics 국가지정연구실에서 수행된 연구 결과를 바탕으로 photonics 기술을 활용한 microwave 기능 구현 방법을 소개하고자 한다.

We present the first demonstration of the vertical-injection depleted optical thyristor laster diode with InGaAs/InGaAsP multiple quantum well structure. The measured switching voltage and current are 3.36 V and 10 A respectively. The holding voltage and current are respectively 1.37 V, 100 A. The lasing threshold current is 131 mA at 25 C. The output peak wavelength is at 1578 nm at a bias current equal to 1.22 times threshold. -
Optical wireless mobile communications have the potential to provide wide bandwidth and security . We have proposed and designed the 2-dimensional tracking optical receiver systems for optical wireless mobile communication. The receiver system consist of 4
${\times}$ 4 photodiode array can receive optical signal from the transmitter. The room size is 5${\times}$ 5m$^2$ and the room height is 3m. -

The optics and opto-mechanics are disigned for imaging the sun at Lyman-${\alpha}$ line for scientific satellite. The optics are composed of conic mirrors. In order to block stary light. the new baffle design method is suggested. And we will present the opto-mechanics for this scientific satellite. -

Back light unit(BLU) using a microlens fabricated by the modified LIGA process for the liquid crystal display(LCD) is proposed, and some experimental results are presented. To realize the back light unit using microlens pattern, LIGA and reflow process are used. -

Recently there has been many understood the basis device physics OLEDs and their basic operating principle. We demonstrate that there have many relation in order to improve luminescence efficiency both emitting light material physics characteristics and luminary. Efficient Electro Luminescence from organic materials was first reported in 1987 at Kodak. OLEDs emitting light material use tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)(Alq3). Sudied maximum luminescence efficiency about structure of optimized emitting light layer of OLED which do observing change of luminescence efficiency by structure change of organic material in this paper.

We propose a dynamic controlling system of dispersion compensation by uisng electromagnetically inudced grating. This has potential applications for active control of dispersion compensation in a broad specteal range of WDM fiber-optic communication channels.

시분할 형광 분석법은 발광하는 형광을 통해 시료내의 미량의 물질을 분석 할 수 있는 분석법으로 생화학, 면역학 등 여러 분야에서 응용되고 있으며 새로운 응용 분야에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유러피엄(Europium) 화합물을 면역학적 검출기로 사용한 측방유동 시료(lateral flow assay)를 시분할 형광 분석법으로 측정한 결과를 소개한다.
