In this study, based on the international standard the quantitative assessment model for the level of safety, health and environment was developed. As a result of applying this model, the company(workplace) which has established improvement plan based on quantitative assessment of short-term and long-term requirements, and implemented it was acquired more higher level of safety, health and environment by more than the existing ones.

Constructions sites are affected by Diversity workplace, complexity of construction, Change of place, Mobility of workers and so on. In a single establishment, Prime contractors and subcontractors have to conduct their work at the same time. There are a lot of unpredictable risks when the construction is running, coordination between contractors is very important to do a risk assessment under the condition. With a view to analyzing the influential factors and their prioritization in association with the loss from construction disasters, this study has presented relative weighted value and importance for each category of loss by making a systematic classification of costs for non-insured categories (indirect costs) and conducting AHP analysis based on results of a survey of specialists. Through the study, first, I have divided the larger classification of loss factors into human loss factor, financial loss factor, special cost factor, and managerial loss factor, and, second, have presented prioritization of loss categories by allotting scores based on weighted values after calculating weighted value through pairwise comparison of loss levels. Based on these results of the study, we should be able to qualitatively calculate the loss costs that construction disasters inflict on business, promote rational decision-making and efficiency in spending related to a disaster, and compare it against safety investment designed to reduce disaster loss from the perspective of business strategy.

This study empirically examines how much effect levels of fatigue and stress of a construction worker have on disaster risks from the perspective of human factors concerning construction disaster risks. To achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted with respect to construction workers working at large construction sites within the metropolitan area. The retrieved survey data were analyzed by using the statistical software programs, SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 8.0. The results of this study do not definitively lead to the conclusion that the level of fatigue or stress of construction workers result in disaster risks. However, it does show that the results vary depending upon the individual approach and treatment of stress and fatigue. In particular, this study revealed that disaster risk levels could increase through unsafe behavior intentions which were established as a mediator variable. Also, with respect to unsafe behavior intentions of construction workers leading to disaster risks, when examining the results that the level of mental fatigue, occupational stress and social-psychological stress of construction workers had a greater significant effect than the level of physical fatigue, this study demonstrates the importance of psychological and mental issues that could be easily overlooked with respect manual labor workers.

The average injury rate in sawmilling industry for the last 5 years is 4.99%, which means that more than 200 injuries have occurred in that industry every year. Because the first step in risk assessment is the hazard identification, it is very important to know how to define the hazard and nature of harm. We analyzed 643 accident records of three years(2010-2012) and carried out site survey for the same cases. As a result, the most common types of work at the time of injury in sawmilling industry were removing jammed wood 81(12.8%), wood carrying task 52(8.1%), wood cutting 49(7.6%), travelling table log band saw 41(6.4%), maintenance 37(5.8%) etc. In addition, there were statistically significant differences in some analysis factors such as injured body parts, employment size, and handling material among different working places. Therefore, it is concluded that differentiated prevention efforts are necessary in each workplace.

During five years (Year 2009~2013), Total victims of 72 %(81,560 people) and those 50.6 %(1,258 people) of death accident occurs in small scale construction site which operate 2 million USD less construction budget. Especially, falling death accident account for 785 people, in the share of 33.2 %(261 people) death disaster takes due to defect of original cause materials. The major safety issues in small scale work place take place while scaffold installation, disassembling, work-plate improper installation or non-professional skills of workers. Furthermore, labor subcontract systems make small construction site shortage of resources. Those workers regard work-plate as unnecessary and consumables supplies. Because of that most of workers use unsafe workplace in most construction site. Therefore, in order to prevent falling accident occurring in small scale work site, government should organize related regulations such as "Work site safety construction method" and then expands education support, financial aid, and sourcing safety supplies for work plate which offer broad variety experiences. Also, introduce certificate solutions for various work plates to improve safety function such as anchoring type method and anti sliding function.

There has been an increase in fire/explosion accidents caused by chemical substances used in new small/medium sized construction, reconstruction, or extension sites. There is vast room for improvement, especially in safety training, safety inspection, and selection of countermeasures because training, technicality, and management systems regarding fire/explosion risks in small/medium sized construction sites are very immature in most cases. The purpose of this study is to propose a differentiated technical, educational, and management application plan for preventative management of fire/explosion accidents caused by chemical substances used in small/medium sized construction sites.

The scale of construction industry recently tends to become bigger and larger in line with development of construction technologies and methods. Although increasing usage of construction machinery has led to improving productivity, reducing schedule and cost, constructions workers have been exposed to unstable work environment, causing more and more accidents. Construction machinery-related laws and regulations has not been enacted and reflected the conditions and circumstances of the construction industry in a timely manner. A various construction machinery and equipments produced and changed in structure randomly are so widely used that related-accidents may occure gradually. Propose a plan for accidents prevention through the analysis of characteristics and cases on construction machinery-related accidents over the past five years from 2009 to 2013.

A number of screening tools have been developed to evaluate the human balance capability. Many of them were designed to identify the elderly with falling risk. Three different screening tools, which have been well used many clinical fields, were used in this study. The purpose of this study was to evaluate balance capability in facilities maintenance workers in korea. There were no statistical significance between male and female when evaluated with three different screening tools. However, significant differences were found among the age groups irrespective of gender when evaluated with three different screening tools. The results of three different screening tools in korea showed poor values compared with previous results. These results revealed that facilities maintenance workers faced more critical falling risk in korea.

Construction victims have increased year by year. Disaster proportion is also increasing continuously. Looking over the causes of disasters by each type of work, fall from working platform indicate the highest rate above all so that it is urgently required to set up safety measures. This study is to grasp the present status of construction accidents, to identify areal characteristics of the top 20% accidents on the basis of working platforms with the highest accident rate, to grasp the causes of accidents after their analyses, and to present methods to reduce casualties related to working platforms. As measures to reduce construction disasters, this study proposes to improve safety management and training on working platforms, to complement safety regulations, and to better performance including the development and expansion of certified products suitable for safety regulations.

This study tried to identify the effects of ergonomic risk factors for absence from work of fire fighters in Korea. A self-administered questionnaire was prepared for this study. The questionnaire consisted of several parts such as 'general information', 'work-related factors', 'physical & chemical risk factors', 'ergonomic risk factors', and 'absence information'. A total of 7,098 fire fighters participated in this study. The data obtained from the survey was mainly analyzed by logistic regression. A total of 856 out of 7,098 fire fighters experienced absence from work. The risk factors such as gender, age, marital status, education level, total work year, work area. position, job rotation, noise, dust, organic solvent, skin contact with chemical substance, toxic waste, regional vibration, manual material handling, continuous standing posture, awkward working posture were associated with absence from work. Specifically, awkward working posture and manual material handling from ergonomic risk factors were major risk factors for absence from work.

This study focused on the review of the korean fire investigation system and will provide the means for having the legal investigation right. The most important thing is to give fire department a perfect legal investigation right on fire including police areas(seeking and examining the case at first stage). And it should be stated in criminal law. With the joint effort between Fire department and Police department, we can develop the reformation, enlightening programs for the arsons or fire related criminals. Through this, it systematically have to be good for fire prevention and can be helpful to enhancing professionalism of fire examination.

In recent years, the surroundings of Fire have rapidly changed and citizens need for Fire have been demanding very high. Under these situations, in order for satisfaction to all these demands, Seoul Metropolitan Government Fire Academy(SFA) have only to improve its educational training program as the fire educational training center in Korea. The purpose of this study is to scrutinize current educational training program of SFA and measure the relative weight among the hierarchy of disaster management(prevention and mitigation-preparedness-response-recovery) by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The result of this study presents that how many hours must be allocated and set the educational training program with scientific and systematic way of AHP compared the current program of SFA in 2013. And This study is applied to increase access and comprehension about the AHP and will be able to present guideline for the selection of optimal the educational training of SFA to serve Seoul citizens the best Fire services.

The purpose of this article is to search stakeholders' recognition related to Fire Construction Surveillance system; a client(order), fire fighting officer, supervision company, construction company, design company, other. The paper provides 4 important things. Firstly, a client(order) suggested the lowest recognition in the needs about the need of separation order, that of contract for any construction work limited registered companies, and that of standard price for engineering.. Secondly, the design company is lowest recognition in guidance and control participating in construction-design phase. Thirdly, the design company is lowest in adjustment about manpower-allocation according to allocation criteria of technical manpower. Fourthly, a client(order) and supervision company are relatively lower than other stakeholder in necessity on special education and training system for auditor in fire protection construction. Almost all related matters are related to more or less stakeholders' interest.

Performance based design(PBD) is the method to make a fire safety design against them after predicting the factors of fire risk in a building. Therefore, predicting fire risk in a building is very important process in PBD. For predicting fire risk of a building, an engineer of PBD must consider various factors such as ignition location, ignition point, ignition source, first ignited item, second ignited item, flash over, the state of door and fire suppression system. But, it is difficult to trust fire safety capacity of the design because the process in Korea' PBD is unprofessional and unreasonable. This paper had surveyed some cases of PBD that had been made in Korea to find the problems of the process to predict fire risk. And it have proposed the improvements of process to predict fire risk of a building.

Preschoolers are the most effective age to start fire safety education. But, if the education contents are inappropriate, they may form the wrong habit to preschoolers. Many educational contents of fire safety in Korea are not so obvious in the principle and order of priority about what to do during fire and they often contain unnecessary contents to preschoolers such as how to use fire extinguisher. This paper has analyzed fire safety awareness of preschoolers and teachers and, based on the results, has claimed unsuitability of training on how to use fire extinguisher and has suggested the improvement of fire safety education.

This study is about determination of fire origin by using analysis of shadow that was recorded CCTV data at the fire scene. This analysis is based on straight and radiate nature of light. At fire experiment with about 1m flame, we conformed that 2-dimensional extension line is focused at the bottom of the fire. If the fire is burning at the same level with shadow, it indicate the point of origin exactly. In 3-dimensional analysis that connect extensional line between distinctive points the shadow and the objet, the line focused in the ${\emptyset}$ 50cm-circle. We estimate the reason of that is because of the character of combustion of gases. The line indicate not the point of origin but the flame that is over the point of origin. thus, you have to consider the line indicate the flame when you do 3-dimensional analysis.

In spite of international efforts to control nuclear weapons and chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) weapons, North Korea obtains and sells CBR weapons illegally. As a result, the worldwide threat of CBR weapons is increasing. Unfortunately, civil defense education and training for CBR weapons have not been adopted for real situations because of the long period of absence of an actual combat. In this study, virtual training scenarios that are applied to the simulation were made in 5 steps to cope with CBR situations. These scenarios are expected to have three effects. First, trainings can be improved with experience and education. Second, the problems and health hazards of CBR weapons and supplies can be solved with CBR virtual training simulation experience. Finally, corresponding effects can be recognized and predicted in real situations through roles and mission procedures of simulation scenario.

Internal engine is the main power source of vehicle and is the main source of air pollution. To satisfy this getting rigorous emission regulation, it must be solved simultaneously the dilemma of reducing emission gas and increasing heat efficiency. Diesel engine is preferred compare with gasoline engine in aspect of energy consumption but it must be solved reducing the containing of NOx, CO and HC. In this study: 1. Looking for alternative of performance improvement of Exhaust Gas Recirculation(EGR) which is emission gas reduction system. 2. Reducing malfunction of controlling emission gas. 3. Made possible precision control.

Occupational fatal injury rate per 10,000 population of Korea is still higher among the OECD member countries. To prevent fatal injuries, the causes of accidents including human error should be analyzed and then appropriate countermeasures should be established. There was an severe converter furnace accident resulting in five people death by chocking in 2013. Although the accident type of the furnace accident was suffocation, many safety problems were included before reaching the death of suffocation. If the safety problems are reviewed throughly, the alternative measures based on the review would be very useful in preventing similar accidents. In this study, we investigated the converter furnace accident by using human error analysis and accident scenario analysis. As a result, it was found that the accident was caused by some human errors, inappropriate task sequence and lack of control in coordinating work by several subordinating companies. From the review of this case, the followings are suggested: First, systematic human error analysis should be included in the investigation of fatal injury accidents. Second, multi man-machine accident scenario analyis is useful in most of coordinating work. Third, the more provision of information on system state will lessen human errors. Fourth, the coordinating control in safety should be performed in the work conducting by several different companies.

This study is aimed to improve safety of ladle in the metal products manufacturing industry. Burns may occur from spills, spatters or eruptions of hot metal from ladles during pouring or transporting. According to the statistics of occupational accidents about the ladle, many victims were exposed to or contacted with extreme temperatures. The many fatal injuries occurred as a result of unexpected discharging of molten metal due to tipping over ladles. To prevent ladles from turning over, the trunnion axis shall be located below the center of gravity of the ladle at all operating condition. For this purpose, the equation is proposed to calculate the minimum location of a trunnion axis for definite static stability when tilting.

An accident related with elevators can cause death or serious injury of operators or passengers. This kind of a fatal accident is due to a failure of elevator. The reduction of failures of elevators is important to reduce the occurrence of elevator accident. Thus, this paper presents the results of analysis for the failure of elevators using the failure data of elevator. The results of analysis can be used to make a maintenance process of elevators.

Employees used computer significantly(IT employee) is increased by technological development in workplace. This study tried to find the magnitude of IT employees and the profile of their working conditions and ill health experiences in South Korea. Korean Working Conditions Survey was used with descriptive and mean difference test in order to find the difference working conditions and ill health status among the groups classified by the degree of using computer during work. Some of working conditions was positively correlated with the density of computer use such as work autonomy, the exposure of repetitive movement of hand and arms. The pain of upper extreme was also more frequently found in the highest user group of computer than lower user groups. Based on the result of hierarchical regression analysis, the effect of computer using on the experience of work-related symptoms after controlling other factors was shown as U shape. This study as heuristic one suggest that some of depth analysis with hypothesis will be done to identify the causes and pathway of impact of computer use.

Most systems used in industrial sites, actually have non-linearity and uncertainty. Therefore there are a lot of difficulties in evaluating conditions of these systems. Generally, the quantitative analysis and expression are found hard because the general public cannot easily make an accurate interpretation on the systems. Thus development of a system that utilizes an expertise from skilled analysts is required. In this research, a real-time sensor signal conditioning system and Fuzzy-expert system have been separately set up into an inference algorithm. So that it ensures a fast, accurate, objective and quantitative operational condition value provided to the manager. Therefore, FE_AFCDM is suggested in this literature, as an effective system for diagnosing the problems related to the air compressor. It can quantify the uncertain and absurd condition to operate the air compressor facilities safely and financially.

The Purpose of this study is to compare occupational accident rate of unionized and non-unionized company and to investigate influences of labor relations on occupational accident rate in Korean manufacturing and construction Industry. Data in 2011 Occupational safety and Health Trend Survey were analyzed for this study. Results show that the occupational accident rate was lower in unionized company than non-unionized company. And amicable labor relationship reduces the occupational accident rate. The policy should be needed to support labor union and improve labor relationship to prevent industrial accidents.

This study was planned to investigate the effect of the exposure to hazard factors on work environment satisfaction. Existing researches about job satisfaction have focused on the general working conditions, such as working hours, wage, human relationship, job task and so on. Korean Working Conditions Survey was used for this study because that relevant questions were included. The effect of the exposure to hazard factors on work environment satisfaction may be produced by hierarchical regression analysis because of comparison with existing model for work environment satisfaction. The exposure to hazards factors were statistically significant effect on work environment satisfaction after adjusting other confounding variables, such as gender, age, educational level, job security, work hour, work load, work autonomy, social support, etc. This study has some limitation because that KWCS was cross sectional survey. Some researches about the causal effect and its mechanism may be suggested as future study.

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the safe criteria of portable slipmeter using human perception onto the several different floor surfaces under contaminated conditions. It was difficult to find why many different slipmeters took there's own safe criteria. It is still unclear how thres hold values established in many literatures. Two different subjective slippery evaluating methods, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Friedman test,were used to evaluate the perception of slipperiness of seven different floor surfaces under the contaminated condition with detergent solution. Twelve subjects worn same footwear and walked with self-selected step and cadence along the test floors. The SCOF(Static Coefficient of Friction) obtained for same test conditions with BOT-3000 was compared to perception of slipperiness to establish as a safe criteria. The very high significant correlation(r=0.97) was found between AHP and Friedman test. Also, The high significant correlation(r=0.96) was found between AHP and SCOF obtained with BOT-3000. The results suggested that the SCOF should be greater than 0.63 for safer walking. Perception rating obtained with AHP showed a high correlation with Friedman test and the SCOF obtained with BOT-3000 except for polished tile floor. The safe criteria obtained through this study were similar to ANSI/NFSIB101.1.

Subcontracting business than the contracting business in shipbuilding industry is a lot of hazardous job and highly accident because of highly work intensity. In order to prevent the accidents, there is a need to analyze characteristic. of shipbuilding, to apply measures of risk assessment. In this paper, I suggested an improvement of the risk assessment through the actual condition research in shipbuilding industry. In the research method, I analysed accidents occurred until 2011-2013. Carried out the actual site survey while two weeks in May 2014. As a result, 1) The main pattern were caught-in or between, fall on the high level according to analyzed accidents. 2) To apply the weight show clear of magnitude for risk assessment. 3) Risk estimation of risk assessment is desirable to be quantization by accidents analysis, and to be greater than or equal to 4 steps.

The recent rise in SARS and bird flu infections around the world has raised the interest in studying the habits of air borne pathogens such as germs and viruses. In this study, simulations were carried out to predict the performance of UVGI air sterilizer at preventing airborne infections inside a car, based on the installation position and the removing effect of the UVGI air sterilizer. Simulation results showed that the UVGI air sterilizer was most effective when located at the rear side of the front seats. It was also showed that when the out-air mode and the UVGI air sterilizer were set to the highest capacity, the microbial safety levels were maintained in a car for 21 hours.

The purpose of this report is to discuss the obtained findings gathered from ultrasound screenings of the liver. After running diagnostic tests health, screens were then conducted to analyze and compare the gained results. This data was then charted and used to strengthen our theorized hypothesis. From January 2013 to June 2013 a recorded 2906 people over the age of 20 visited Health Promotion Centers in various areas throughout Daejeon. Of those 2906 participants 1789 underwent screenings for abdominal ultrasonography; these participants as well as their ultrasound results were used as the bases of our study. For the establishment of our baseline and the comparison of our results, we gathered case-controlled studies from various reputable sources. Both the control and the experimental groups were tested to measure the following liver enzymes (AST, ALT, r-GTP, ALP, and etc.). Kidney functions were measured as well enzymes such as BUN, Creatinine, and Uric Acids levels were analyzed and recorded to see if any relationships existed between the levels documented in the liver and those in the kidneys. It was shown that the two primary causes of fat build up within the liver were significantly connected to obesity BMI(OR=4.14) and waist circumference(OR=3.88).

The purpuse of this study is to find factors on the recognition by people involved in occupational safety and health of KOSHA 18001, the need of KOSHA 18001 certification, and the compliance by each medical institution with KOSHA 18001 review standards to help medical institutions introduce and use OSHMS. There was a survey of people involved in occupational safety and health at 300 local general hospitals with 100 or more beds that were registered with the Korean Hospital Association in 2012. The survey included the recognition of KOSHA 18001, the need of certification and the compliance by medical institutions of the occupational safety and health. A total of 132 people responded, of which an analysis of 126 cases was conducted except 6 cases poor in information.

In view of the increased threat arising terrorism, the International Maritime Organization(IMO) adopted the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) which attached to the SOLAS Convention. The ISPS Code requires a comprehensive set of measures to enhance the security of ships and port facilities. For example, a shipowner must obtain the International Ship Security Certificate(ISSC). If the carrying vessel has not ISSC, the ship may be detained by the contracting governments. The Joint Cargo Committee(JCC) in London adopted the Cargo ISPS Endorsement, in which the assured who knowingly ships the cargoes on a non-ISPS Code compliant vessel will have no cover. However, where there is no the Cargo ISPS Endorsement in a Marine Cargo Insurance Policy and the cargo is carried by a non-ISPS Code certified vessel, the legal problem is whether or not it would constitute a breach of an implied warranty of seaworthiness and/or an implied warranty of legality. The purpose of this article is to analyze the potential legal issue on the relations between non-ISPS Code compliant vessel and two implied warranties under Marine Insurance Act(1906) in U.K.

Slips and falls are associated with many public injuries in Korea. It is also estimated that slipping are major contributors to slip, trip and fall injury burden. The primary purpose of the present study is to determine if, and to what extent, the standard could be improved in present environment. In order to fulfill our objective, the regulations in Korea and foreign countries were investigated and reviewed. Many kind of standard, mandatory documents and guideline were also reviewed. And then, regulations, standard, guideline etc. reviewed were compared with each others. Also, some criteria was developed in this study. Standard and criteria developed in this study will help to prevent slip, trip, and fall injuries.

NCS(National Competency Standards) is made by HRDKorea for real company, education, training and qualifications under the current government of national issues. It developed 836 units on the classification of KECO. But. Actual companies do not take advantage of improvements in job competency and production processes. This study is redesigned a real company production process use to some developed the NCS standards. After we finds some process problems and then searches the improve methods on analysis the problems.

Although companies have to concentrate on effort to save cost to survive competition, transportation costs are taking more portions in total sales costs due to globalization in the modern times. It is the reason why Transportation Management System TMS is getting more important. However, it is practically difficult for the system to fit to all of transportation environments and actually many problems are taking place with the system. Therefore, a new idea is necessary to solve such problems fundamentally rather than temporarily or superficially. To do so, if TRIZ, which is a theory that systematically establishes creative ideas on the basis of patent analysis, is employed, it can bring forth a guideline with some creative principles that can be applicable in drawing out innovative ideas based on conceptual shift. The present study aims to propose a methodology of how TRIZ should be applied to solve the problems that happen in TMS as a whole. Particularly, the study focuses on how to design customized TMS system that can be employed for each of different situations in a creative way.

A prerequisite for improving the quality of a product is to enhance the quality of its parts supplied from outsourced enterprises. An enterprise certified by ISO 9001 Quality Management System is expected to develop their effective quality assurance system and maintain it through continuous control and improvement, thereby ensuring the good quality of products that they produce. However, it is reported that small and medium-sized enterprises certified by ISO 9001 have difficulty establishing an effective quality assurance system. This study aims to propose a new method of improving a quality assurance system that can be more effective in small and medium-sized enterprises. This study collectively considered requirements specified in several international standards on quality system and the results of expert group brainstorming to identify evaluation areas and items for assessing a quality assurance system. Based on these evaluation areas and items, a set of checklists for diagnosing and improving a quality assurance system was developed. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed method, this study applied it to ten small and medium-sized enterprises and could identify four approaches for improving their current quality assurance system. The presented improvement method, which consists of establishment of quality goals and quality innovation plan, defective products corrective activities, 4M and design change process, improvement of customer quality information management, is expected to be utilized as a useful tool for the enhancement of the quality assurance system of small and medium-sized enterprises.

During the fierce competition among the companies, improvement of logistics center managing efficiency is importantly recognized. Among them, studies on improvement of picking work process on about 55% of logistics center managing costs are continuously conducted. And, most of studies focus on analysis on strengths and weaknesses of picking method performable on the stage of logistics center design, etc, so the purposes of this research are to define load location rule by product releasing frequency in logistics managing environment based on conveyer and suggest expected effects by simulation analyzing method to improve picking managing efficiency.

The national Logistics Information system has been rapidly developed on account of the dramatic improvements in the military's logistics support system and supply support system, making a transition from manual work system to computerized work system. Supply level, however, does not reflect these changes in the overall logistics environment and still retains the state it was in the 1970s. This research uses the accumulated data from the equipment maintenance information system developed in the year 2009 to analyze RWT(Requisition Wait Time) and CWT (Customer Wait Time). The analysis estimated the realistic transportation and ordering time and led to the conclusion that the differentiated ASL operation system that considers demand level should be adopted instead of the uniform ASL employment system.

There have been a lot of studies about overseas factory location in order to meet various needs of industries according to the international economic developments. However, most of the studies were written about generic theory for general industries or mainly concerned to high capital industries. This study is focusing on the sewing and apparel industries which represent labor intensive and small-medium type of enterprises. For this study, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) methods were applied to make proper analysis after wide range of survey to clarify determinants which provide a guidance for overseas factory location. As a result of the analytical researches done in the thesis the most important which should be taken consideration while determining of overseas factory location for sewing and apparel products industry are as follows - economic factors(0.569), geographic factors(0.171), social and cultural factors(0.157), regulations and institutional factors(0.103). In the last, S company is examined for example to show how this determinants have practically been applied.

This paper reviewed the relationship between job stress and service quality, and the moderating effect of organizational justice in food service restaurant. Based on the responses from 209 employees, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) job stress(insufficient job control, lack of reward, occupational climate, job insecurity, interpersonal conflict) partly effect negatively on all service quality factors(tangibility. reliability, responsiveness, empathy). 2) distributive justice and procedural justice partly effect positively on the relationship between job stress and service quality.

The purpose of this study includes: Firstly, to examine the effects of procedural justice and job significance on value of work, psychological ownership, and job satisfaction. Secondly, to examine the mediating effect of the value of work, psychological ownership on the relationship between procedural justice, job significance and job satisfaction. For the study, the data was collected from convenient sample of 273 nurses at university hospital in a city to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. This study reports findings as followed: first, the relationship between the procedural justice and the value of work is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the procedural justice and the psychological ownership. Third, there was also a positive correlation between the job significance and the value of work. Fourth, the relationship between the job significance and the psychological ownership is positively related. Fifth, there was also a positive correlation between the value of work and the psychological ownership. Sixth, there was also a positive correlation between the procedural justice and the job satisfaction. Seventh, the relationship between the job significance and the job satisfaction is positively related. Eighth, there was also a positive correlation between the value of work and the job satisfaction. Ninth, there was also a positive correlation between the psychological ownership and the job satisfaction. Finally, the value of work and psychological ownership played as a partial mediator on the relationship between procedural justice and job satisfaction. Also, the value of work and psychological ownership played as a partial mediator on the relationship between job significance and job satisfaction. Based on these findings, the limitations of the study and some directions for future studies were presented.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of customer perception about service physical evidence and process quality by liquor wholesaler on customer satisfaction and maintaining business relationship. Also this paper tries to find out the moderating effect of relational duration on those service qualities and deal satisfaction. Based on the responses from 53 stores, the result of multiple regression analysis appears as follow that (1) the perception of intangible service quality is positively related to deal satisfaction, (2) deal satisfaction is positively related to maintaining business, and (3) the interaction of relational duration and each perception of service qualities is significant.

This study is intended to analyze the relation between G. D. Weisman's Way finding 4 elements the accessibility and efficiency of consumers as to eternal area for Seoul historical museum. The findings are summarized as the following three aspects. First, G. D. Weisman's Way finding element introduced in this study had a significant impact on visitor satisfaction.. Increasing the outsourcing of personal information treatment, the safe management and director for fiduciary is very important. In this paper, under the personal information protection management systems the current situation of fiduciary management and direction was reviewed and the certification system was analysed in terms of availability of the controled items. Under the basis of legal compliance at the time of the Privacy Act, the characteristics of outsourcing type was also analyzed and derived new controled items. As a result of the proposed research, new controled items for fiduciary could be used as a standard for the managing Director.

The industrial accident rate has been steadily decreased by making all efforts for the prevention of accidents after enacting Occupational Health and Safety Act in 1981. However, ordinary typed industrial accidents still occur in small and medium sized enterprises(SME). Timely Technical Guidance(TTG) project of Korea Occupational Safety & Heath Agency(KOSHA) for SME's was initiated to visit and provide the analysis and control of industrial accidents by the staffs of KOSHA as soon as possible after accidents occurred. This study is conducted to analyze the questionnaire survey for employers, workers and TTG personnel of KOSHA with being evaluated positively whether the demonstration project of TTG has been executed consistently. However, it is suggested that the understanding of TTG project and legal support are necessary for the establishments, and the development of a variety data and lots of available contents is necessary to increase satisfaction of the TTG project. The accident rate of SME's which are employed less than 50 workers is expected to be largely decreased with applying the control and improvement over this study with maintaining and developing TTG technology.

The purpose of this study is to implement and develop the integrated Economic Value Added (EVA) and Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC) model to seek both improvement of Net Operating Profit Less Adjusted Tax (NOPLAT) and reduction of Capital Charge (CC). Net Operating Profit Less Adjusted Tax (NOPLAT) can be maximized by reducing the indirect cost of an unused resource capacity increased by Cost Capacity Ratio (CCR) of TDABC. On the other hand, Capital Charge (CC) can be minimized by improving the efficiency of Invested Capital (IC) considered by Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) of EVA. In addition, the integrated system of TDABC using Balance Scorecard (BSC) and EVA is developed by linking between the lagging indicators and the three leading indicators. The three leading indicators include customer, internal process and growth and learning perspectives whereas the lagging indicator includes NOPLAT and CC in terms of financial perspective. When the Critical Success Factor (CSF) of BSC is cascading as a cause and an effect relationship, time driver of TDABC and capital driver of EVA can be used efficiently as Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of BSC. For a better understanding of the proposed EVA/TDABC model and BSC/EVA/TDABC model, numerical examples are derived from this paper. From the proposed model, the time driver of TDABC and the capital driver of EVA are known to lessen indirect cost from comprehensive income statement when increasing the efficiency of operating IC from the statement of financial position with unified KPI cascading of aligned BSC CSFs.

This paper reviewed the relationship between safety climate(superior attitude, education, precaution, communication, and job load) and safety performance(safety compliance and safety participation), and the moderating effects of gender and age. Based on the responses from 288 employees, the results of multiple regression analysis appeared as follow; 1) superior attitude effects positively on safety compliance and safety participation, but, job load effects negatively on safety compliance and safety participation. 2) precaution effects positively on safety participation. 3) education and precaution are more positively related with safety compliance and safety participation in female employee than in male employee. 4) education is more positively related with safety compliance and safety participation in older employee than in younger employee.
