There can be two definitions of modern ideal medical surroundings. One is medical services satisfied patients' with their desire and the other is places suited to remedy realized by rational operation. Particularly, in case of dental service, there is a need for an effective regard of moving lines and there are many rooms for a dental service belonged to a curer and not a curer. So a design has been developed by many concerns. How do we proffer more familiar and comfortable places to both a curer and not a curer. Nowadays, the design is making progress to the unprecedented and up-to-date direction. I would suggest a general plan used by a nature of an original art for this design. The design used by a nature between human beings and things is able to induce comforts and intimacies. So to speak, I would like to remove artificial design and keep up organic lines, shapes and forms of a nature like it is. This study grasps the organizational limitation of this design and the visual characteristic of organic forms used by harmonious image of a nature and a new way is applied to limited medical places, a dental service, based on the study. Also, I'm go to examine the meaning and worth of a new design and suggest the direction of it.

The lounge space in the fashion shopping mall such as footpath and resting place is attained not only a routine life for a pedestrian ,but also a simple meeting for association and amusement. In comparison with the current advancement of a shopping mall, however the lounge-a resting place for customers who make a visit for shopping and need for resting has changed into being commercial and non commercial -real meaning for resting space has disappeared. Consequently, the purpose of a research is to investigate on the actual condition for noncommercial resting spaces in the shopping mall and to suggest a reform measure through an analysis on the satisfaction percept of users in accordance with the result.

The purpose of this study is to make an in-between space considered as an abandoned thing to the central place of commercial area by utilizing it to form the each places' identities. The methodology of the design is not about one complete form but about a continuous process by negotiation. This process is proceeded by holding council between public institution and private owners of the buildings and applied the rules to various cases in similar places in the commercial area. This project has been developed in order to construct a healthy network to connect buildings nearby and programs in a block. This place could provide the ground for public communication between any group to visit this place and make the spatial milieu of the city.

Therefore, strategy and flexible devices are needed to activate and stimulate the multi-user's complex activities. Through the case of Hong-Ik children's park, I will analyze the result of investigation about the pattern of space-user and suggest neighborhood public facilities proper to contemporary situation.

Despite the advancement of knowledge and techniques, architectural design has been developed by similar method and science as the logical tool since the development of Le Corbusier's 'module'. However, in the new millenium emotional design has become a key issue and today is the turning point regarding new method for designing human space. While architecture discipline of the West focused on logic, Japan based its origin in eastern discipline has developed a unique design concept called 'metabolism' and advanced it very effectively. Since its development of the unique concept, Toyo Ito has become one of the most Influential architect in and out of Japan who devoted his design career in developing new space concept. This study is specifically focused on Ito's project by finding characteristics of his projects and analyze emotional design factors by using 5 analytical tool - experiencing the space, five senses, landmark, sequence, and scale. Ito's work between 2000-2004, such as Sendai Mediatheque, showed more visible sign of emotional design characteristics compared to the works done in 1990's. Because of the analytical studies researching those emotional design characteristics and methods, the future advancement in new space design will be possible with great success. The result proves that continuing proper analysis and research in design method will assist in approaching new space design method into more advanced realm in very efficient time period with more definite design elements to accomodate and fulfill human needs in given space.

In according to the rising rate of divorce, single parent family has increased rapidly. And the number of single mother families is up to 80% of total single parent families. Especially the residential problem of low-income single mother families has been issue in social scope. But now facilities to accept these families are too short in Korea. Therefore this study aims for basic analysis of short-term residential facilities for single mother family. The survey of written documents and investigation of existing facilities are used by the method of study. In addition relief and rehabilitation facilities for mother and child in Seoul is analyzed by domestic example because of similarity to the model of this study.

The supply of Korean housing has met the demand thoughout the fourth quarter of the twentieth century, and demographic, social and economic changes have been entailed. All the circumstances became a significant foundation to develop digital homes. This study was designed to find out the residents' current use of and needs for digital services, and the interview with three housewives residing in a recently developed digital home was conducted. The three households used most of the digital services, and favored cellular phone, as the main device to use digital functions, since it's small and easy to carry out and operate. It was noticed that the use and preference of digital services was likely to be explained by the lifecycle each household and the lifestyles of an individual. The participants didn't use the webpage of the digital home since the information contained in the web site wasn't quite useful. Also the interviewees perceived that digital home brings many conveniences and benefits. Currently, the main constraints for further development of digital home in Korea are affordability and the establishment of a variety of life scenarios from real situations.

The awareness of ecological friendliness has been emerging in the recent years, and the application to housing is quite notable. The purpose of this study was to examine multi-family housing that has recently developed with the idea of ecological friendliness, and to investigate the residents' attitudes toward and their preferences for the features. The research utilized in-depth interviews and site visits, and seven residents in the studied housing developments participated in the study. The analytical tool used in the interview was reviewed by a panel of professionals and included five aspects of ecologically friendliness: residential comfort, energy saving, open housing, storage, and safety and security. The respondents pointed out that south-facing housing in relation to residential comfort was most favorable. With regard to energy-saving, water-saving features and dehydrator of food waste were most needed features. As for open housing-related features, flexibility in spatial configuration was necessary, and efficient storage was regarded as important. Also, the respondents mentioned the preference for flooring preventing slippery in bathroom for the safety of family member.

This research against the method of applying a traditional design elements to modern interior space is classified and analyzed by direct expression method, a transfigure expression method, a metaphor expression method and a symbol expression method. The direct expression method means the modernizing the traditional design elements by expressing traditional material and structural formative style as they are, and the transfigure expression method is the design method of re-organizing the elements by simplifying and transfiguring the traditional design elements. Metaphor expression method includes the method of expressing visually the formative concept which does not known concretely, and the symbol expression method exchanges the rising concepts into concrete elements and expresses by new design.

Based on such a situation, our research institute aims at studying how the interior designs put influence on marketing. Among the domestic franchise coffee shops, we will have researched Rosebud, Starbugs, Davinci which have more 50 chain stores throughout the country, This study aims to suggest a direction for interior design of brand coffee shop by analyzing brand coffee shops and style that customers prefer.

Installation art(I.A.), which has appeared since 1940s against the loss of human nature and hackneyed art caused by materialism, is in pursuit of contact with audience and various artistic experiments. Many features of I.A. - to try contact with audience, to do experiments connecting different genres of art, to regard time and nature as elements of art and to use high technology - could give good ideas for contemporary display(S.W.D.) design. This study is a basic work to suggest new S.W.D. design through artistic principles of I.A.. First, I.A. and S.W.D. design were studied theoretically. Next, spatial expressions were extracted from I.A. and the case study was proceeded to seek the co-relationship of spatial expressions and display design. For a case of Shiseido, it could be evaluated very high because it adapted spatial expressions of I.A. successively. The S.W.D design could be more effective presentation when it has close contact with audience and various experimetal and artistic ways of Installation art.

In order to more effectively respond to the rapidly changing situations of domestic and foreign interior design industries and to expect their further development, not only academic endeavor but also practical one, that is, the introduction of the new interior-design management is necessary. This research aims to establish a preliminary model of interior design management conducted not by customers but by designers who understand the characteristics and structure of business environment. To achieve this, we will investigate and analyze previously suggested theories on interior design management and case examples. In doing so, we hope that this research will facilitate future researches which in turn may come up with more persuasive models of interior design management.

It is predicted that the greatest change in the 21st century arises from the digital environment that has been rapidly transforming. The convergence of computer and telecommunication technologies will be encroached into the social realm. Also the digital technology produces digitally equipped homes, and daily life will be substantially influenced by such information appliances. The main purpose of this research was to find out the recent trends of development of digital information appliances, and to explore the outlook in the forseeable future. The findings showed that a variety of digital functions in the market made users confused, and they found it difficult to use. The participants pointed out that the digital functions should be more user-friendly. Therefore, the development of digital information appliances need to consider it.

Currently, there is no library only for children in Korea, but as people realized that reading education was important, public libraries have started making space for children. However, most of spaces in public library were designed regardless of physical development and behavior. Therefore it was even worse for children to use library. Planning must be concerned about indoor surroundings that satisfy children's psychological desire and characteristic. Consequently, this study is going to have a thorough grasp of the problems of children library, and present organized information which fits their reading environment and human technology.

The exhibition evaluation is very important because it allows the whole process of exhibit development to be reviewed. The purpose of this study is to examine the exhibition evaluation method into preceding research and to grope the proper evaluation method through analyze visitors behavior on the Permanent Exhibition in National Science Museum.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the product characteristics and spatial configuration in a retail store. This study utilized the analytical method of Space Syntax, and the software package used for the analysis was New-wave and Pesh. The qualitative study focused on the showroom of 'H INTERIOR', a leading furniture company in Korea, and examined the accessibility of the space. The result showed that the main accessible route was well established in the retail store, and more trendy and fashionable products were likely to be displayed in more accessible places. Also, the products in the selected showroom were arranged according to the pricing information, so that products with lower price were displayed in more accessible places. This study suggested that it be important to adequately and appropriately display the products in relation to the characteristics of products, and implied that the method of Space Syntax was useful to strategically evaluate the display in retail spaces.

The aim of this study is to establish the actual conditions of the exhibition's facilities, especially on the focus of the exhibition booth. In general, exhibition booths are perfectly advanced on time. So, we surveyed on 14 convention center which each province has one or two in nation, and then analysed types of exhibition focused on booth type. Second survey of exhibition of booth exhibition in COEX. We find that the present system of the booth's design, however, neither meets this qualification nor has the standard one. And they also have no recycling and reusing of it. Therefore, our study makes a suggestion that the present booth system will be replaced with new one. The conclusion of this study is as follow; firstly, the booth of iron system which has standardization, but it needs to prove design. and the booth of wood system which has various design, to prove standardization. Secondly, mixed booth of iron and wood system that is able to require from users will be designed as soon. Finally, there are several types of exhibition booth that have a flexibility as follows; rectangle system, triangle system, and freely system.

A movement of visitor is a practical means that provides a spatial arrangement of exhibits and validity to that principle. Thus, an exhibition of a museum cannot be completed by an intrinsic value of exhibition itself. Rather, the meaning and value of exhibition can be genuinely evaluated by a visitor's experience and reactions. Therefore, focusing on an correlation between exhibits' spatial configuration and a behavior in a museum, this thesis will establish effective indicators of analysis and their validity in predicting a frequency of visitor's visit depending on the structural form of exhibition space.

The purpose of this research is to develop subject of up-to-date scientific technology, according with science museum, and to deviate from the old style, simply-seeing display, and the passive display which simply support narrative styles by one-way action. In addition, for motivating audience to take part in the display, this study is to analyze displaying technique, key marks of an exhibit and then to create the way which science museum should follow in order to plan interactive scenario and display technique. By analysis and consideration of museums, which I took for a sample, this study will work out display scenario, based on interactive concept, and experience display technique. Moreover, this study will suggest alternatives and basis in order to develop display technique of up-to-date science in science museum.

As the population of the elderly has increased and the nuclear family has become popular, the demands of long-term care services for the elderly have arisen. However, a lot of patients, who need long-term care services, are in general hospitals because existing facilities for the elderly are not sufficient in terms of both quality and quantity. In this study, it is considered a good alternative to set geriatric wards, offering long-term care services for the elderly, in general hospitals. This study shows an analysis of geriatric wards in general hospitals, especially, based on the case of N hospital, and suggests the spacial elements of geriatric wards, which is different from other wards in the aspects of space program and operating system.

This study examines how the students evaluate the color of classrooms in university after remodeling. This is a elementary study, which suggests a direction of study on a criterion of color design in classroom remodeling. The study was progressed through visiting classrooms and POE(post occupancy evaluation). The results indicate that most students satisfied with color environment, and the project of remodeling has increased the level of satisfaction in comparison with before. The level of satisfaction with the color of the architectural elements was high. The level was affected by wall color, floor color and color combination with elements' color. The overall satisfaction with classroom color was correlated with all architectural elements' color. The result shows that the positive effect and insufficiency of color design in remodeling. Also it shows that the color combination is one of important factors of satisfaction of color environment.

Recently, hospital architecture has acknowledged remedial value of environment and atmosphere, which consider patient's statement of physical, spiritual, psychological and social focus, escape from the past focus of functional and rational space composition. The many research of hospital architecture just analyze elements of architectural planing which focus how to make a healing environment for patients. The purpose of this study is to abstract the design principle of architectural space composition for healing environment significance, through case study which follow up space composition. To abstract healing environment significance by space composition, each case study hospitals should be analyzed and estimated on the spatial composition elements. It is to provide the basic data for effective architectural planning of the hospital.

Recently, it is not to much to say that the world of hospital architecture in Korea is in a time of transition that undergo big changes. Each hospital pursues their transformation not only for patiences' changing demands on medical services but to cope with rapid environmental changes that pouring like boundless competition, opening tendency and to get an advantage of competition to attract patiences with other hospitals. It is because national expectations and standards on medical services have risen and they are not satisfied with hospitals that run for doctors and medical care that served technically any more. With rising interests in health, it is emphasized not the functions of hospitals to prevent diseases but the purpose of treatment and securing other facilities according to rising economical incomes except medical facilities.

This research is aimed to study the finishing material applied in interior space for improving residential environment. First of all, it finds out what is 'Sick Building Syndrome' and 'Sick House Syndrome', how harmful to human body about indoor air pollution substance (such as volatility organic compound, formaldehyde) and investigate the effect when the environment-friendly finishing material is used. Secondly, classify and examine all kind of finishing material applied in interior space. Finally, after emphasize the importance of environment-friendly finishing material from domestic or overseas, this research suggest the basic information of environment-friendly finishing material in order to use in the future buildings.

The purpose of this study is to make clear the indoor thermal environmental efficiency of indoor garden in apartment during winter. The questionnaire survey was carried out during the l0th${\sim}$20th of February 2004, respondents consisted of 215 residents living in a subject apartment estate. The field measurements of indoor thermal elements were carried out at A house with indoor garden and at B house without indoor garden. The measurements in two-subject houses were taken on simultaneously the 11th of February. As Results, the residents living in apartments with indoor garden show positive response on air moisture and satisfaction. The daily ranges of indoor temperature and globe temperature in the A house were narrower than the B house. The average relative humidity in the A house was higher and constant than the B house. Therefore, it was seemed that indoor environment during winter in the house with indoor garden maintained more constant or comfortable than the house without indoor garden by earning effect and humidity control effect of plants.

The considerable increase of the elderly with dementia is expected annually and when we think about the family members' and the patients' suffering, it could be painful. Above all things, it imposes heavy economic burdens on the family members that have patients who suffer from diseases of age like dementia or paralysis that caring them at home and also, it is not desirable for those old people in point of physical or environmental circumstances for medical care. Thus, it is needed urgently that the expansion of specified facilities and improvement of services for these old people. Under this present condition, it is the special feature that the subject of research is people/facilities that offer services, not the elderly with dementia-the main user of those facilities. Thus, it is the time that we need various accessing plans that can grasp the patiences' activities and specialties and solve these problems in view of designing interior space. So, I tried to make designs that manage the elderly with dementia effectively and adequate to run facilities with considerations on the state of domestic specialized long-term care facilities for the elderly with dementia and researched guiding principles on physical healing surroundings with analysis that focused on the patients' activities, especially.

In early 20th century, This study focus on exploration of a education for office design This class is focused on planning an office space. Selection of the right places, Setting a concept room plans, and such are studied along with systematically analyzing spaces. Applying concepts, interior plans, interior elements, color and selection of materials are introduced and developed into systematical plans. And the students produce efficiently a portfolio by complementing and/or developing the visual materials and readjusting all the concept of the accomplished assignments during this course that were presented visually by applying techniques of presentation leaned majoring in interior design, in an aesthetical and creative ways.

Youth Culture Center is a space only for adolescents, where they can experience a wide range of educational and cultural activities. Through the case study of existing several youth culture centers, we find problems and show that a new-planned space is the most suitable for adolescents' traits and youth culture center's program operation. Consequently, a new Interior plan will provide adolescents with the place 'by youth' and 'for youth' Adolescents' traits must be accepted and their culture also must be respected. Constructing youth culture center's space properly and arranging it functionally enables 'to overcome the limit to a small space. Youth culture center is to be designed to symbolize adolescents' cultural feelings. On the basis of the conclusion, a specific interior design plan is given as follows.

Recently the small medical clinics designed well are appearing even in the small and medium city. Especially in the rural area, these clinics have the role not only as medical facilities but also as community place for their fellowship. This project was launched by order of a female doctor, an otolaryngologist. Her order is focused on otolaryngology but I also proposed the design alternatives such as plastic surgery and dental surgery clinic designed under the same conditions. This project was also related with the classwork of interior architecture course of our faculty and I tried to let the students understand the relation between theory and practice. The design goal was to join together harmoniously two stories which were completely separated and I consistently concentrated on the expression of immateriality and superimposition of space.

However, it retuned with an economic charge in the consumers and lost the uniformity in a small-sized living space as well since the furniture depended on the each miscellaneous household goods or products and came to be used. Hereupon it was demanded the system where the various furnitures are to fit to here. This study aimed at this point firstly examined a new environment change which it follows till a small living space is demanded through lots of literature, after understanding the concept of the system furniture, I classified expressive types of system furniture in modern environment and analyzed the design quality and characteristics in it by selecting well-known furniture magazines inside and outside of the country and extracting and analyzing system furniture images which are recorded in advertisements or articles. The objective of this study is to present MMC(Multi Modular Coordination, a system furniture design based on this analysis that inquiring the problems with function, structure, assembly which other existing system furnitures are facing enabled to apply a basic data in unit-module planning and by sampling embodiment modeling by uses.

Due to the change in modern lifestyle and social pattern, food service industry has steadily grown recently. Especially, in terms of familiarity, chinese restaurant can be most popular type of dining alternative to Korean. The project was aiming to establish a new branch of the existing restaurant which has a main location in Kangnam area and has been famous for it's food quality, kind services and good interior design. This restaurant is located in Seohyoun-Dong, Bundang-Gu, Kyoungki-Do and this area is very crowded by both residential apartments and commercial offices. Considering the complexity in regional characteristics, this restaurant has basically targeted frequent dining-out family groups. In addition, the floor design was flexibly developed to be able to accomodate large office dining customers. The overall design was intended to keep very elegant and simple atmosphere, developed to express eco-friendly image by adopting the 'Water' component in the floor plan.

As seen in constant reference to our modern are as the 'Information Age', our daily lives are flooded with a variety of information. Under such circumstance, efficient management and distribution of information are increasingly needed. When it comes to office environment, the role of furniture is very important because furniture must be placed in the office and it also serves as an essential component to improve work efficiency. As the importance of furniture increases, office furniture reflects diverse needs. That is to say, office furniture is used to partition space while reflecting mental and emotional state of workers in the office. At this backdrop, it can be perceived that office goes beyond a place where work is done. In order to contemplate how office and office furniture enhance work efficiency and create pleasant, delightful office environment, the study in this paper identified and examined overall color images of office, and color use and color preference in office furniture. The purposes of this study were: 1) to identify the use of and preference for color images of office 2) to analyze the color images of office furniture and understand its color use and color preference; 3) to understand the color use and color preference in office storage furniture.

Human beings are perhaps most outstanding in longing for the beauty in order. The natural form have a power to be self-respect and also a repetitious pattern. Such natural forms will be the source of design, its constituent principles. Since Korea has already become the 'aging society' and is expected to become the 'aged society' by 2019, development of the facilities and dedicated housing for the senior citizens have become the key issues. The growing population of the older people, changed in the social structure, family type, and the way of living brings a moment to consider the various aspects to support the older people. The purpose of this research is to analyze the interior color characteristics. Based on the research will provide a direction for color planning of elderly housing facilities in Korea. For this purpose, a field survey was conducted between October 17-21 in Japan. The research method employed was an empirical case study visiting 6 senior housing facilities in Japan, Osaka area. First, the brightness used in the senior housing facilities in Japan ranges from high value to low value while the chroma ranges from the middle chroma to low chroma. The warm colors of Y, YR and R are mainly used.

The present design, which is English Zone Development Project for 'G' Elementary School at Seo gu, Incheon, contained various booths for experiential learning corners as well as spaces of teaching learning through group study, dramas and role plays, breaking away from the structure and atmosphere of traditional language labs, and at the same time it include a school building as an affiliated space where the whole students can gather for discussion and learning. The general design concept adopted the atmosphere of an exotic street, installing five theme booths (airport, bank, hospital, book/game store and shop) along the wall and applying the image of road to the floor in order to perform role plays. The blackboard and furniture were also designed to produce the atmosphere of street so that elementary students take interest and actively participate in learning.

Space Composition should be understood an aesthetic cognition about the basis of space in different points of view. It establishes the prescribed environment of space through the hypothesis of given geometrical object. Therefore, it makes understand the cause of space composition and conceive the consistency of various elements, orders, norms and forms of space composition, Through this study, the students may build up scenarios-form the beginning to the climax of space -, directions and full stories about the space.

For the students who specialize in interior design irrespective of their color susceptibility, it is prerequisite to precede a systematic curriculum in the first place on how to put the color theory to practical use. Therefore, this curriculum has its purpose to let the students study on how to put to practical use of their understanding of color as one of the finishing materials for interior design. The 16-weekschool days has been segmented into a theoretical study and practical training, This thesis has summed up the basic instance of the color theory, the first of the three basicpractical courses and presented its results to the students. In due course of this curriculum, the students were recommended to pick up one photo image of their selection out of which they could make out color palette based on their analysis of the photo image, so that they could study on how to apply their color palette to a three dimensional space. Firstly, through this course, they could experience the process for a color image that they had so far sensed subjectively and vaguely to become an objective inevitable result. Secondly, they studied on the process of how a two-dimensionalcolor image could be applied for a three-dimensional space. It is significant of this curriculum in the sense that the students become prepared through this study course with essential knowledge applicable to various interior designs in their future.

The university building which is located in Daehak-ro where the commercial buildings are. The color of the building exterior and the signs are various to distinguish. To recognize the building exterior among the surrounding areas, it needs visual and bright color on it. The blue and white selected from the color of university identity. The core of the building is treated as a tower In vertically and white color is painted. And the rest parts of the building are treated horizontally and blue color is painted. The color of the building exterior shows the visual effects not only symbolism but attention.

Since the importance of early education has been emphasized the Reggio preschools based on the philosophy of open education has been recreated in Korean culture. The Reggio Emilia approach to education is committed to the creation of conditions for learning that will enhance and facilitate children's construction of their own powers of thinking. Dream and hope of children are reflected in every where of the Reggio preschools that great attention is given to the look and feel of the classroom and environment is considered the‘third teacher.’ The results of the kindergarten design as a way of expressing direct, indirect and eclectic images using nature, that natural elements can become the elements of design in any form, and that nature's images are expressed by not only natural and artificial materials. In addition, safety and harmony with adjacent outdoors are also importantly considered in kindergarten design. Even though there were some limitations on this planning, the findings can be utilized as a basis for generating interior environmental recommendations for planning a better quality of kindergarten.

This work aims at the design of the artwork for the atrium of a furniture department store. In complying with the request of the building owner I have established the basic concept, 'silence in movement - movement in silence', to design a artwork, which not only can make the various atmospheres in the store to the unique one, but also arrange an emotional stability for the visitors. Most exhibited furnitures are those that demand particular interests from the visitors, and the exhibition scale is enormous. So it is difficult to sustain the continuous inspiration and the emotional stability, and also it is hard to make the store have the consequent image. This problem can be resolved through the installation of the artwork that can evoke the visitor to the abundant sensitive receivability. The materials, which are used tp express the basic concept, are water, concrete, light and aluminium that represent a unified harmony in a contrast each other.

The purpose of this study was to make clear the indoor environmental efficiency of front balcony 'in apartment houses during winter. The field measurements of indoor environmental elements were carried out at an ordinary house with an existing front balcony and a house renovated the front balcony into the living room. The measurements in two-subject houses were taken on simultaneously the 20$^{th}$ ${\sim}$ 21$^{th}$ of January 2003. As results, the averages indoor temperature in the ordinary house and the renovated house were same as 23.6${\circ}$C, and the averages globe temperature in two houses were same as 23.7${\circ}$C. But, estimated heating time of the renovated house was longer than that of the ordinary house. The daily ranges of indoor temperature and globe temperature in the renovated house were wider than the ordinary house. The daily ranges of indoor temperature and globe temperature in the renovated house was longer than that of the ordinary house. The uniformity ratio range of daylight in the ordinary house were calculated at 1/3.4${\sim}$1/6.2, but those of the renovated house were 1/6${\sim}$1/16.2. Therefore. it was found that indoor temperature, globe temperature and uniformity ratio of daylight in the ordinary house maintained more constant than the renovated house by green house effect and earning effect of front balcony.

As regards of designing, I chose a simple wall design of repeating pattern of vertical windows, rather than making the building as a glamourous obzet. This kind of approach was intended to pursue strong image of construction company, interchanging and communicating with its confused surrounding. Therefore, I boldly removed parts that I considered needless from the facade, and used simple and easy words clearly implying the organization. Lobby is the face of the building, but since the space is deep and narrow and the reality of lease should be considered, there was limit to give original image to the lobby. Instead, high ceiling is the biggest feature of this space. Doorae Engineering-Construction Corp. is young and energetic company. I wanted to highlight the young and energetic image of the company by crossing tore oblique piece of boards. This doesn't just has a simple function as ceiling, but also work as a major subject in the space. In addition of this powerful space of oblique lines, indirect lighting is used to emphasize the character of territory, continuity and deepness of the space. Character of territory that divides main and supplementary function and main and supplementary moving line is expressed by flow of dimension, and continuity and deepness of space is emphasized by indirect lighting flowing linearly through the crack between the ceiling and the wall.

The purpose of this design is to find out the design for an ophthalmic hospital focusing on the patient needs and changed healthcare environment. A cellularized hospital system appears variety design. This space needs well-balanced and ease of mind, because of ophthalmic needs a clear description attention. The concept of this design is to give human colour intellect and rich colour-sense. The waiting area wall is finished the graphic design sheet of leaves, which is covered with the fluting glass and indirect lighting. The colour is extracted in nature. The colour techniques of graphic design is gradation, the colour plan select from Y to G-GB. The material is selected within natural colour. The treatment area is functional space and the waiting area is sensitivity space. The hospital design must change with user as a leader.

This study suggests experimental designs for interior products utilizing LEDs that are ideal for expressing diversity of light. It also attempts to develop various products by incorporating economic efficiency and diverse colors of LEDs into interior elements. LED door handles offer a range of 6-color LED lighting strips as a safety lighting system, while multi-function furniture (CUBE-scape) consists of LEDs with double-sided emitted lighting on completely transparent track structures. Both products are designed to make interior elements more user-friendly as they make most use of unique effects of LED such as light vibration and changes. Also the combination of plastic material-Technogel$^{\circledR}$, polypropylene, polycarbonate- maximize the LED lighting effect and diversify the designed item selection.

Recently, the Korean medical system changed with diversification & specialization and the field of medical service is also specialized in these days. The medical space settings are usually designed for staff needs rather than for patient needs. but The purpose of this project was to identify the design elements for the patient-focused. Main keyword of this project is 'high touch' and basic design concept is 'a sense of stability/velocity'. This medical space is located in Sanbon, and it has an area of 171m$^2$. The material scheme in the interior design of medical space is an important factor for the hospital users. Painting, stainless steel, wood veneer, fabric and p-tile were used as interior finishing material.

The present design, which is the result of English Zone Project for 'I' Girls' High School in Yeonsu dong, Incheon, purposed to produce atmosphere like a cafe so that students can attempt more comfortable and diverse learning methods, breaking away from the structure and atmosphere of traditional language labs while providing functions such as experiential learning, teaching learning and native speaker conversation. In addition, it applied colors close to primary colors so that students throw away their fixed idea of language lab as a special class and access it easily at any time. Moreover, it was designed for the maximum changeability using foldable and portable furniture so that various types of group study can be performed. Ultimately the design project is expected to suggest methods of experiential learning distinguished from existing knowledge delivering education as it provides teaching learning methods beyond simple interior design.

Accordingly, it should give the aesthetic and psychological satisfaction by making the space formative as a visual space expressed by a unique identity with a functional convenience.
