For 20 years, Japanese government have been pushed forward supporting policy measures for youths who wanted to start farming. These measures made up a systematized scheme and brought out some effects. In this paper, those scheme are introduced and analyzed. Those are composed of several measeurs as following: vocational edcucation and training, internship program, direct payment for livelihood, and governmental subsidies for investment. Japanese scheme can be evaluated as a good policy in the view of Korean situation. There is no systematic policy program for youth's entrance to farming in Korea.

According to increasing the number of rice farm households, it is important to find optimal farm scale, farm crops, and labour constraints depending on growth time. The study aims to analyze the optimal farming system using the linear programming in Seosan county, Chungnam. The survey was conducted in-depth interview to collect data from one farm household. Results show that farmers change their some crops in dry filed into ginger and hire farm labours in April. The findings should be of interest to rice farmers and policy makers to manage their farm effectively and to support them.

This paper estimated how demographic characteristics, food selection preferences, daily physical activities, and food purchasing patterns of consumers affect the consumer choice to buy coffee and tea by analyzing the Consumer Panel data in 2014 using Multinomial logit model. The results are summarized as follows. First, factors such as age, income, employment status, and educational level were found to be statistically significant upon the impact analysis of consumers' demographic characteristics. Second, the study showed that the first group of consumers drinking less coffee and tea had the highest interest in health, followed by the third group drinking less coffee and more tea, the second group more coffee and less tea, and the fourth group more coffee and tea. In addition, it was also found that the fourth group's pattern to purchase more coffee and tea could be explained by consumers' food consumption patterns.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the farms growing domestic kiwi fruit 'Gold' on their management performance and efficiency in order to reduce the risks involved with introducing new kind of crops for growing, and suggest improvements. First, the result of analysis showed that domestic kiwi fruit 'Gold' growers' income were higher than the average growers due to the fruit's high unit price and productivity. Second, the analysis of management efficiency resulted in scale efficiency having greater impact on inefficiency rather than pure technical efficiency. As for the analysis of technical efficiency, the depreciation costs of agricultural facilities had the greatest influence on its inefficiency. Third, inefficient farms put in excessive inputs across the board, while labor costs(self labor cost + hired labor cost) were the largest factor of optimal inputs according to the models of technical efficiency and pure technical efficiency. Fourth, because of greater reliance on mechanical tools from rising labor costs, there's a need for individual farms to avoid buying farming equipments and instead share the equipments of nearby farms and agricultural cooperatives, or start renting agricultural machines from companies.

Nowadays a sense of community based on our community further weakens due to globalization, industrialization, the development of transportation and communication, etc and the community as cultural and psychological units is focused on. In other words, the concept that emphasizes the aspect of 'we' sharing the unique value and goal of community is used. In this current situation, school as an important community organization has been in the spotlight. In particular, college compared with other communities has a special influence on the community. Therefore it is regarded as an important community organization and its importance as part of our efforts to decrease the college students wastage rates continues to grow. The study about school as an important community organization has been conducted actively. However the people in most studies are elementary, middle, and high school students, so there are limitations to what these study findings apply to college. Therefore, this study conducted factor analysis of college sense of community for local college students, categorized it, analyzed the factors having influence on each factor and then looked for suggestions of ways to strengthen college sense of community. According to study, sense of community is categorized into three factors such as 'sense of belonging', 'sense of solidarity', and 'sense of emotional closeness'. After analyzing the factors influencing types of sense of community, factors relevant to them are grades, intimate friends, subjective well-being, community volunteer work, college service satisfaction, and so on.

본 논문은 에티오피아 티그레이의 농촌 마을의 사회적 기구가 소작농의 농업 투자 등 위험에 대한 성향에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 연세대학교 빈곤문제연구소는 2014년과 2015년에 에티오피아 북동부에 위치한 티그레이 지역의 두 마을에서 관련 설문자료를 수집하였다. 주요 결론으로서, 지역에서 노동력을 분담하는 기구인 Debo (한국의 품앗이)에 참가하거나 조언 및 도움을 구할 수 있는 조력자가 있을 경우 위험에 적극적인 태도를 보여주었다. 반면, 결혼 및 장례식에 대비하여 보험 역할을 하는 Iddir나 사적금에 해당하는 Equub (한국의 계)에 참여하는 가구의 경우 상대적으로 위험에 적극적인 태도를 보여주지는 않았다. 하나의 정책 제안으로서 빈곤국의 농촌 개발 및 지원시 위험에 적극적인 가구를 선택하여 집중적으로 지원하거나, Debo와 같은 마을내 노동협력 기구를 중심으로 원조 교육 계획을 수립할 필요가 있다.

농업연구와 지도의 연계는 농업인의 역량을 증진시키는데 있어서 매우 중요하다. 이 연구의 목적은 농업연구지도 분야의 핵심 담당자를 대상으로 면접을 통하여 가족농 육성을 위한 농업연구와 지도의 연계에 관한 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 농촌지도의 방법, 내용 그리고 농촌연구의 내용 등과 관련한 현안들이 인터뷰를 통해 양적, 질적 자료를 수집하였다. 파라과이 농업기술전파의 구조적 문제점은 기술지원서비스, 신용 서비스, 농가 계획과 기본 인프라의 부족 등이었다. 더욱이 요구되는 농촌지도내용은 유기농업, 토양관리와 보전, 농업신용, 조직역량강화, 마케팅, 참여연구, 기술이전 장비와 인프라, 농업기계화였다.

캄보디아는 동남아시아에 위치한 농업중심 국가로 농업부문의 개발과 성장을 통한 빈곤감소와 경제성장에 크게 관심을 두고 있다. 특히 쌀 수출 목표(백만톤/2015)를 달성하기 위해 정부의 강력한 홍보 및 새로운 농업협동조합을 창설하였다. 그러나 현재 정부, 비정부기구 및 민간 부문에서 강력한 지지가 있으나 농업분야 성장이 느리게 진행되고 있고 농협의 운영상의 문제점도 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한국 농협의 발전을 교훈 삼아 캄보디아 농협운영에 대한 개선책을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 캄보디아의 농업개발정책을 살펴보고, 양국의 농협발전 과정과 비교를 통해 캄보디아 농협 운영시스템을 개선하기 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시한다. 분석의 기준은 양국의 농협설립과 운영시스템, 정부와 민간의 개입 정도, 농협의 발전과정과 지역사회개발에 있어 농협의 기여 정도에 관하여 비교하였다. 연구결과 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시한다. 첫째, 캄보디아 정부가 협력 사업의 운영 및 관리 체계를 강화해야 하며, 캄보디아 농협과 농협연맹(ACF) 의 통합을 제안한다. 둘째 공동 관리 및 운영은 정부가 권한을 가지며, 농업관련 부서는 지역사회수준에서 농협의 지원 및 관리 모니터링 시스템을 강화하여야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 정부관점에서 협력위원회의 역량을 강화하기 위해 매년 전략 계획을 수립하고 정부가 표준 농산물 시장 가격을 보장하고 농협에 대한 농업협력사업 진행을 위한 예산 지원 및 생산자와 구매자 사이의 정기적인 회의 등 합리적인 의사전달체계를 마련하여야 할 것이다.
