It might be considered as difficult process to apply current researching technology to the fields of agriculture. Before the 80's, distributing brochures and pamphlet and direct visits to farmers were the only means used for research. But as society evolved, so did the methods. Media began to its place in the process. This study's main objective was to identify how farmers solve the problem on farming itself and also on how they improve customer-satisfaction. The Service Consultation Center of Rural Development Administration totaled up 19,666 cases of farmers's inquiries on 2010 by internet surveys, phone-calls and by post. Customer satisfaction scored highest on horticulture (39.5%), being followed by rice(23.2%) and other crops.

The purpose of this study is to look into current situations of urban-to-rural migrants' community participation and its relationship with rural life satisfaction. This topic is important because one of the main barriers to migration decision is job availability, especially in rural areas. Besides, rural areas need more human resources to support aging communities, as rural population is constantly decreasing. For this study, we used the methods of survey and in-depth interview with structured questionnaire. We met 121 respondents who were in community participation activities by the snowball sampling method in 10 counties nationwide. As a result, we identified community participation activities could contribute to urban-to-rural migrants' stable settlement and improving their satisfaction with rural lives.

This study researched 199 elderly couples (389 people) who live in sixteen districts and cities of Chungcheong nam-do. Purpose of this study; First, observing difference of elderly husbands and wives' intimacy and care giving consciousness. Second, understanding how couples' marital intimacy affects on partner care giving consciousness. Research result; First, sexual intimacy of husbands was higher than wives' and economical care giving consciousness of husbands was higher than wives'. Second, elderly husbands and wives' intimacy was a meaningful factor on care giving consciousness, especially effect from cognitive intimacy was the most influential factor. Third, husbands' care giving consciousness was only affected by their own intimacy. But in case of wives, not only their intimacy but also husbands' intimacy affected on their care giving consciousness.

This study is to explore implications for sustainable development of Yangdong Village in Gyeongju through identifying effect of its designation as a World Cultural Heritage on residents' quality of life. The following are the findings achieved by empirical analysis. First, eight valuable factors of placeness were identified through factor analysis, about which residents were especially conscious in terms of "living condition", "cultural environment", "economic QOL", "natural environment conservation", "sense of community", "cooperative facilities", "control over increasing population", "transport environment". Second, the importance -satisfaction scores of identified 8 factors were found very high in importance showing relatively low level of low level of satisfaction. Especially, what caused residents's low QOL was economic status-concerned factor showing the lowest QOL index, and other factors such as cooperative facilities and transport environment negatively impacted on resident's QOL as well. Also, it was revealed that residents had a positive attitude toward entering of their village into UNESCO world heritage sites with hope that it would improve their economic QOL. Based on these results, implications for sustainability of Yangdong Village and research limitations were discussed, and further research direction was supposed.

For the first time basic settlement area development plan was established in 2010, in order to promote cooperative coexisting development among regions, as time that regional competitiveness determines national competitiveness started. Basic settlement area development plan is composed of 7 sectors and 24 general subsidy projects. It was judged that experience and tourism business as the center is required to be analyzed, which may have effect on activation of farm village, fishing village and mountain village, and inflow of city people, in agriculture, forestry and fishery sector in order that added value of agriculture and fishery is increased, and tangible and intangible resources are applied, and pure agriculture, forestry and fishery is developed. And currently farm village, mountain village and fishing village of our country faces desperate crisis situation that they cannot help groping for substitutive to create new revenue model, and agriculture and fishery of primary industry has limit of increasing income of farmer and fisherman. Agriculture, forestry and fishery experience and tourism business was classified by types, and then standard of 12 categories and 48 sections was prepared, for searching method to supplement and develop it. Trend of experience and tourism business was understood, and problem was found, and then it may be used as indicator material to carry out creative and differentiated business plan establishment and business operation, and may be opportunity to reject overlapped business among regions, and to promote balanced regional development.

The purpose of this study is to survey job stress and Musculoskeletal Disorder(MSDs) of workers in small plants with agricultural products. The subjects were comprised of 69 workers participated in "Helping the rural women to get the small businesses" project. The questionnaire surveys were Korean Occupational Stress Scale(KOSS), and Legal Risk Assessment of Musculoskeletal Disorders(KOSHA CODE H-30-2003). As a result of the survey, scores of KOSS 8 sub-items except for job demand were similar to that of Korea workers. Prevalence of MSDs symptoms of small plants workers was high percent (44.9%). And the rate according to kinds of product was significant difference at neck (p<0.01), lumbar (p<0.01), and leg (p<0.01). There was no significant difference between view person sign of MSDs and non MSDs according to sex, year, the number of workers, working years, working time per one day, rest time per one day, and subjective working intensity, but there were significant difference between high stress group and low stress group about MSDs at interpersonal conflict(p<0.05). Job stress and MSDs were important factor to workers of small plants producted agricultural products. Therefore, starting a business with small plats, workers consider interpersonal conflict and body part showing MSDs.

This study was conducted to investigate the levels of hope and their relationship with problem behavior, academic records and procrastination among rural adolescents. The participants were 579 rural middle and high school students from three counties. The major results of the study were as follows. First, pathway and agency thinking of rural adolescents were negatively correlated with depression and anxiety, and were positively correlated with academic records and procrastination. But only agency thinking of rural adolescents were negatively correlated with delinquency among problem behaviors. Second, as a result of multivariate analysis of variance, groups of high hope of rural adolescents were lower in depression and anxiety than groups of low hope, but were higher in academic records and procrastination.

The purpose of this study is to suggest better ways for operating Slowcity Sangju based on the literature reviews about Participatory planning and empirical investigation. As a form of participatory planning, survey was conducted and examined the perception of residents toward importance of different sub-plans in operating Slowcity. The results show that the residents in Sangju have high level of preference on the economy related plans such as adding values to local products by applying the name of Slowcity to their resources. In addition, the more expectation and understanding to slowcity they have, the more interested in the participatory process and slowcity planning the residents become. Consequently, this research suggests that it is required for successful participatory planning of Slowcity to building an association for operating Slowcity with local peoples.

The study aims to identify residents' perceptions of tourism impacts according to the demographic characteristics. The analysis was based on 366 questionnaires given to residents of six rural communities in rural Korea. A series of data analysis such as factor analysis, t-test, and ANOVA was conducted to investigate the residents perceptions of tourism impacts. Results showed that whereas younger, less educated and poor could perceive a negative impacts. older, educated and richer were more likely to perceive a positive impacts of economic, social and environmental spheres. Especially male was more likely to perceive a positive socio-cultural impacts, whereas female was perceive a negative impacts. The results suggest that it is important for policy makers and community leaders to consider social-cultural and economic impact when decision making on development planning.

This study selected Joongchon Village in Gimje-si as a target, in order to apply green village design regarding regional circumstances and features within the local government, in making green village as an efficient scheme in aspect of locality for 'Low Carbon, Green Growth'. Subsequently, we conducted survey and analysis. Natural circulation-based green village of Joongchon Village in Gimje-si is a low carbon green village, based upon eco-friendly cattle shed. Even though it is the fact that the initial costs of an eco-friendly cattle shed are rather high, it is the long-term low carbon green technology that can transform livestock night soils into resources, provide them to agricultural farms, independently supply energies from by-product, and produce energies additionally. Therefore, Joongchon Village in Gimje-si is the good example of green village, applying the design which actively utilizes discharged by-product from cattle shed, so natural circulation and energy production are able as an eco-friendly green technology.

The purpose of this study was to examine the implication for the return farm and rural training program through the analyzed trainees' satisfaction and general characteristics. This study polled 89 trainees who presented the Return farm and rural training program by Jeju Agricultural Research and Extension Service. and the results of analysis are as follows. First, trainees' general characteristics appeared very various at an age structure, stage and type of return farm and rural. Second, the overall satisfaction level for the training program was normal but it was different according to the trainees' general characteristics, stage and type of Return farm and rural. This result was due to the unilateral training program. Consequently, it required a lot of efforts for the improvement of satisfaction through reflecting the trainees' properties in the training plan.

This study is mainly to investigate the influences of both Western's utopian socialism and cooperatives ideas on the process of China's rural cooperation from 1919(the occurrence of 5.4 movement) to 1958(the completion of People's commune). To accomplish this, first, we will discuss that how these two ideas emerged as an alternative to Western capitalism in the before/early 20th century were introduced into China and how these ideas effected on the process of the China's Communist Revolution. Then, we will review the process of China's rural cooperation during the 1950s' new socialist nation-building period since the foundation of New China(1949), the sharp debates about rural cooperation in the process of its realization, and the reasons of radically promoting rural cooperation in the late 1950s. Finally, through these debates and experiences regarding rural cooperation in rural China during 1919-1958, any implications in solving rural cooperation problems of contemporary China facing difficulties will be provided.

One of the significant element of industrialization is the marketing mixed by advertisement. This paper concerns itself with two key methodological issues that have arisen during the marketing communication research. First, it examines BTL media, appeal type and executive type for interpersonal communication. The second part of the paper argues that story have an effect on making relationship between a consumer and a producer as storytelling producer's history, story of experiences of user, episode and so on. In this paper we developed contents of advertising for pine nut in Hong Cheon using the storytelling marketing communication strategy.
