Farm succession is one of the most important events that substantially influence the viability of a farm business not only for a family farm operation, but also for a farm industry as a whole. This study aims to analyze the factors which affect the probability of existence of a successor, using the nationwide survey data. The probability of having a successor increases with the age of operator, the number of sons, the area under cultivation, organic farming, farm expansion plan, main crop and operator's attitude towards farm succession. Also this study investigates the succession plans of family farms having a successor and land disposal plans of family farms without a successor. 40% of farms having a successor have only vague succession plans and 34.7% of farms without a successor have a plan to apportion their land among their children. Based on these results, this study suggests the necessity of planning for farm succession and successors' agricultural training. In addition, measures for preventing from land fragmentation are needed for realization of effective usage of agricultural land.

This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of agricultural products in Korea, China and Japan and the effect of increasing imports from Korea and China. and then we discussed how to cooperate in the agricultural trade field between the three countries. The results are summarized as follows. First, The intra-industry trade of agricultural products was the most active in Korea and China, followed by the intra-industry trade index between Korea and Japan. The intra-industry trade between China and Japan were the lowest. Second, The mutual complementarity of agricultural products trade between Korea, China and Japan is mostly high. Among them, Korea and Japan are the highest, while Japan and China have the lowest complementarity. Third, it was found that in tariff elimination, imports of rice and meat products increased the most, while the import growth rate of green tea, meat products and ginseng increased the most. Finally, the three countries in Korea, China, and Japan can consider the way to increase the trade of agricultural products in the region by internalizing the trade of complementary items while maintaining a constant level of production of mutually competitive products.

This study aims to investigate the farmer's educational performances Influencing educational satisfaction. In general, the goal of agricultural education is to increase farm performance such as income, sales and perceptions. A survey was used to collect data from 588 farmers to the country extension office. The results of the analysis are as follows. The variables that have a significant effect on satisfaction in this study are as follows. interaction between instructors and farmers, passion of instructors, effectiveness of lectures, educational support, and educational facilities. However, the adequacy of the lecture and the diversity of the contents of education did not explain the satisfaction variable. Discussions on the improvement of farmers' education were made by considering the rejected variables. In conclusion, farmers' education in the field should secure educational diversity. And farmer's education in RDA should develop a new curriculum. Farmer's education in RDA should further strengthen the informal learning.

Research confirms that healthful benefits accrued when people connect with nature and insect by viewing and interacting with them. Insect rearing is easy, relatively inexpensive, and can breed small space. This study aimed to investigate the physiological effects of animal assisted activity using insect(Oriental garden cricket) with diets and a rearing manual. The group of insect activity whose ages ranged from 65 to 82 years old that attending a community center in Daegu, Korea, were enrolled in the study between April and May 2014. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative analysis. Qualitative study is utilized to explore mental models, and their linguistic, affective, cognitive, social and cultural significance. The result showed that people-insect interactions promote well being of the elders, and the important aspect of insect activity aids in improvements in their social, emotional and cognitive functioning which were enhancing life satisfaction, reducing loneliness and increasing activities of daily life.

이 연구의 목적은 빈곤 완화를 위한 농업프로젝트의 저조한 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 연구대상지역은 말라위 북부 및 남부 지역의 Karonga 와 Phalom be 지역이며, 82명의 농촌지도사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석을 위한 변수는 농민의 사회경제적 요인, 정부 요인, 프로젝트 관리자 요인으로 구분하였으며, SPSS를 사용하여 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 분석결과 농민의 사회경제적 요인에서는 농민의 문맹률, 높은 빈곤율, 프로젝트의 낮은 참여율, 그리고 농민의 외부 의존 증후군이 저조한 농업 프로젝트의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 프로젝트 자체 요인으로는 지속적인 자금 흐름과 지원의 부재가 유효한 요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 효과적인 농업프로젝트의 성과달성을 위해서는 정부와 이해 관계자들이 농민들에게 자조정신을 심어주어야 하며, 자금지원에 대하여 검토하여야 할 것이다. 이를 통해 사업의 높은 성과는 직접적인 농민의 빈곤완화로 이어질 수 있을 것이다.
