  • W.Choi([1]) obtains a complete description of ergodic property and several property by making use of the semigroup method. In this note, we shall consider separately the martingale problems for two operators A and B as a detail decomposition of operator L. A key point is that the (K, L, $p$)-martingale problem in population genetics model is related to diffusion processes, so we begin with some a priori estimates and we shall show existence of contraction semigroup {$T_t$} associated with decomposition operator A.

  • The semilocal convergence of a third order iterative method used for solving nonlinear operator equations in Banach spaces is established by using recurrence relations under the assumption that the second Fr´echet derivative of the involved operator satisfies the ${\omega}$-continuity condition given by $||F^{\prime\prime}(x)-F^{\prime\prime}(y)||{\leq}{\omega}(||x-y||)$, $x,y{\in}{\Omega}$, where, ${\omega}(x)$ is a nondecreasing continuous real function for x > 0, such that ${\omega}(0){\geq}0$. This condition is milder than the usual Lipschitz/H$\ddot{o}$lder continuity condition on $F^{\prime\prime}$. A family of recurrence relations based on two constants depending on the involved operator is derived. An existence-uniqueness theorem is established to show that the R-order convergence of the method is (2+$p$), where $p{\in}(0,1]$. A priori error bounds for the method are also derived. Two numerical examples are worked out to demonstrate the efficacy of our approach and comparisons are elucidated with a known result.

  • An operator $T{\in}L(H)$ is said to be p-paranormal if $$\parallel{\mid}T\mid^pU{\mid}T\mid^px{\parallel}x\parallel\geq\parallel{\mid}T\mid^px\parallel^2$$ for all $x{\in}H$ and p > 0, where $T=U{\mid}T\mid$ is the polar decomposition of T. It is easy that every 1-paranormal operator is paranormal, and every p-paranormal operator is paranormal for 0 < p < 1. In this note, we discuss some properties for p-paranormal operators.

  • Duggal-Jeon-Kubrusly([2]) introduced Hilbert space operator T satisfying property ${\mid}T{\mid}^2{\leq}{\mid}T^2{\mid}$, where ${\mid}T{\mid}=(T^*T)^{1/2}$. In this paper we extend this property to general version, namely property B(n). In addition, we construct examples which distinguish the classes of operators with property B(n) for each $n{\in}\mathbb{N}$.

  • Let ${K^{(\vec{p};N)}_{\vec{n}}(x)}$ be a multiple Kravchuk polynomial with respect to r discrete Kravchuk weights. We first find a lowering operator for multiple Kravchuk polynomials ${K^{(\vec{p};N)}_{\vec{n}}(x)}$ in which the orthogonalizing weights are not involved. Combining the lowering operator and the raising operator by Rodrigues# formula, we find a (r+1)-th order difference equation which has the multiple Kravchuk polynomials ${K^{(\vec{p};N)}_{\vec{n}}(x)}$ as solutions. Lastly we give an explicit difference equation for ${K^{(\vec{p};N)}_{\vec{n}}(x)}$ for the case of r=2.

  • Let $\mu$(x) be an increasing function on the real line with finite moments of all oeders. We show that for any linear operator T on the space of polynomials and any interger n $\geq$ 0, there is a constant $\gamma n(T)\geq0$, independent of p(x), such that $\parallel T_p\parallel\leq\gamma n(T)\parallel P\parallel$, for any polynomial p(x) of degree $\leq$ n, where We find a formular for the best possible value $\Gamma_n(T)\;of\;\gamma n(T)$ and estimations for $\Gamma_n(T)$. We also give several illustrating examples when T is a differentiation or a difference operator and $d\mu$(x) is an orthogonalizing measure for classical or discrete orthogonal polynomials.

  • We establish appropriate $L^p$ estimates for a class of maximal operators $S_{\Omega}^{(\gamma)}$ on the product space $R^n\;\times\;R^m\;when\;\Omega$ lacks regularity and $1\;\le\;\gamma\;\le\;2.\;Also,\;when\;\gamma\;=\;2$, we prove the $L^p\;(2\;{\le}\;P\;<\;\infty)\;boundedness\;of\;S_{\Omega}^{(\gamma)}\;whenever\;\Omega$ is a function in a certain block space $B_q^{(0,0)}(S^{n-1}\;\times\;S^{m-1})$ (for some q > 1). Moreover, we show that the condition $\Omega\;{\in}\;B_q^{(0,0)}(S^{n-1}\;\times\;S^{m-1})$ is nearly optimal in the sense that the operator $S_{\Omega}^{(2)}$ may fail to be bounded on $L^2$ if the condition $\Omega\;{\in}\;B_q^{(0,0)}(S^{n-1}\;\times\;S^{m-1})$ is replaced by the weaker conditions $\Omega\;{\in}\;B_q^{(0,\varepsilon)}(S^{n-1}\;\times\;S^{m-1})\;for\;any\;-1\;<\;\varepsilon\;<\;0.$

  • In this paper, a new subclass, 𝒮𝒞𝜇,p,q𝜎 (r, s; x), of Sakaguchitype analytic bi-univalent functions defined by (p, q)-derivative operator using Horadam polynomials is constructed and investigated. The initial coefficient bounds for |a2| and |a3| are obtained. Fekete-Szegö inequalities for the class are found. Finally, we give some corollaries.
