A Study on the Value System of Social Media Usage by Korean Journalists -Focusing on the Results of Laddering Method (국내 주요 언론사 기자들의 소셜미디어 이용 가치체계 연구 -래더링 분석을 중심으로)

  • This study observes reporters' awareness on the use of social media and their Core Values by using the Theory of Means-End Chain and drawing conclusions from a Hierarchical Value Map (HVM). In order to analyze reporters' knowledge and awareness on the use of social media via the laddering method, in-depth interviews of 46 reporters were conducted. The study showed that reporters consider sense of kinship, well-balanced understanding, and the desire for knowledge to be important Core Values. The results revealed that the convenience in interpersonal communication, development of intimacy in relationships, entertainment and affection, curiosity, the reduction in the cost of the acquisition of information, understanding of trends in issues, a peek into new information and the maintenance of interests, psychological dependability, and quick updates on information items are considered important Consequences of social media. In the Attributes level, the ability to write postings and links on Facebook and readability and 'follow' and 'mention' features on Twitter were confirmed to be important items in social media. The findings infer that reporters that make use of social media use Twitter and Facebook to build a sense of kinship with other users and gain well-balanced understanding by accessing a lot of information through social media. While this study examined the level of reporters' familiarity with the use of social media via the laddering method, the results cannot be seen as a generalization, as the interviewees were reporters from only the major news organizations.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the effect of improvement in student's learning attitude when applying portfolio, which is one of the ways for the performance's assessment suggested as an alternative of traditional assessment for the instruction of Home Economics subject. The results of this study were as follows; 1. We have developed the Portfolio materials; teaching and learning plans, the paper of activities of the class, materials of the instructions, and assessment materials from the instruction of total 13 times in the unit of 'making short pants'. 2. The instruction,'Making short pants' with applying portfolio, is very effective in terms of changing student's learning attitude positively - pride, self-confidence, interest, conscience of purpose, motivation for achievement, focus surroundings, self-study, friendship among classmate and etc. 3. The result of analyzing students 'thoughts shows that the majority over 90% of the students showed the positive attitude toward applied portfolio instruction. Here are the reasons that 'it's helpful to study', 'it can be focused better on the instruction', 'it give them satisfaction and couidence' and 'it can be increased abilities studying by oneself'. on the other hand, the negative side of the instruction applied portfolio is that it requires too much time to prepare portfolio materials. there is pressure because of a lot of assignments to do. Based on this result, we are expecting to increase student's interest in the middle school class of Technology and Home Economic and also to achieve development of the method of teaching and learning to enhance student's learning attitude.

Study on Evaluation Factors Determining Satisfaction and Revisiting of Broadcasting Contents Market (방송콘텐츠마켓 만족도와 재방문에 미치는 평가요인: 부산콘텐츠마켓(BCM) 사례를 중심으로)

  • This paper explored satisfaction and revisiting of participants on Busan Contents Market(BCM) programme in 2009. Specifically, this study conducted regression analysis for finding satisfaction and revisiting factors on main events, broadcasting-telecom convergence forum, broadcasting business marketing forum, world culture contents forum and BCM academy. Results show as following. Firstly, Participants satisfied on comfortable lodging and possibilities as international events, but not satisfied on facilities, managements, public relations, contents and service. In particular, regional attraction and interpretation service are one of factors for revisiting in BCM main events. Secondly, one of competition factors for revisiting intention in BCM main events is production and investment. Thirdly, contents, theme and qualities of presenters and discussants are main factors for revisiting in BCM. Fourthly, satisfaction degree on education contents and lectures in BCM academy is high and contents, time, line up of lectures analyzed as determined factor for revisiting. Fifthly, documentary planning, production and marketing with international investors drive to induce revisiting BCM. We discussed motivation and utility values for revisiting of broadcasting contents market.

An Analysis on the Past Items of Discrete Mathematics in Secondary School Mathematics Teacher Certification Examination (수학과 중등임용 이산수학 기출 문항 분석)

  • In this study, discrete mathematical items were classified into analytical items and mathematical items were analyzed on the basis of analytic framework items of mathematics and the past items of mathematics subject contents of the period 2011-2017 school year. First, the discrete mathematics evaluation areas and evaluation contents proposed by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation should be evenly distributed. Second, the items of measuring metacognitive knowledge as a strategic knowledge on the use of cognitive methods should be given. Third, the ratio of the number of items in discrete mathematics to the number of that was 3.8%~6.8%, and the ratio according to the item weighting was 2.2%~6.3%. Fourth, it is analyzed that all the items are suitable for the evaluation goal and the pre-service math teachers who have faithfully implemented the curriculum have maintained the appropriate level of difficulty to solve. Finally, the content items such as the method of counting the discrete mathematics curriculum, the Recurrence Relation, the generation function, and the graph are matched with the teacher certification examination and the mathematics education curriculum of each teachers college. By these reasons, we conclude that the contribution of pre-service teachers to the motivation of learning is obtained and implications.

Influence of Teachers' Ethical Awareness and Teaching Flow on Teacher-Preschooler Interaction (보육교사의 교직윤리의식과 교수몰입이 교사-영유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effects of preschool teachers' ethical awareness and teaching flow on the teacher-preschooler interaction based on the participation of 345 preschool teachers in Chungcheongnam-do and Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were analyzed by correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study were as follows: First, both teachers' ethical awareness and teaching flow were strongly correlated with the teacher-preschooler interaction, and the correlation between sub-variables was also significant. Second, analysis of the relative strength of teachers' ethical awareness and teaching flow in the explanation of the teacher-preschooler interaction revealed that intrinsic motivation as a sub-variable among teaching flow was the most prominent predictor of the teacher-preschooler interaction, followed by ethics for preschoolers among teachers' ethical awareness as well as specific plans among teaching flow. The findings of this study suggest future directions for teacher education based on newly identified factors affecting teacher-preschooler interactions, desirable teacher-preschooler interactions, and implications for improving childcare quality.

유리화 동결법에 의한 난자의 동결 중 항동해제에 Cytoskeleton Stabilizer, Taxol의 처리 후 배발달율의 개선에 관한 연구

  • 난자 동결방법의 선별은 보다 효과적인 난자은행의 개발에 필수 불가결한 중요한 요소이다. 이전의 연구에서 마우스의 난자를 ethylene glycol과 electron microscope grid를 이용한 유리화 동결법으로 동결 융해한 결과 기존의 slow freezing 방법에서보다 높은 생존율과 배발달율이 나타남을 관찰하였다. 그러나 동결융해후의 난자는 방추사와 염색체의 이상성이 대조군에 비해 높은 빈도로 나타나 융해후의 배발달율을 감소시키는 것으로 보고되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유리화동결법동안 항동해제에 Cytoskeleton system을 안정화시키는 cytoskeleton stabilizer인 taxol을 첨가시킨후 동결시켰을때 생존율과 발달율을 개선시킬 수 있는지 알아보고자 본 실험을 시행하였다. ICR mouse의 성숙란을 채취하여 연구목적에 따라 taxol을 첨가시키지 않은 대조군과 첨가시킨 실험군으로 분류하였다. 동결방법은 난자를 1.5 M ethylene glycol (EG)에 2분 30초간 노출시킨후 5.5 M EG와 1 M sucrose가 첨가된 동결액에 20초간 노출시킨 후 Grid에 난자를 부착시킨후 직접 액체질소에 침지하여 동결하였다. 동결후 난자는 5단계로 융해를 실시한 후 정자와 체외수정을 시킨 후 수정된 난자는 modified P1 배약액에 124 h까지 발달율을 관찰하였고, 배양 후 발달된 배반포는 대조군과 실험군, 각각 4마리의 발정동기화된 recipient에 이식을 시행하였다. 배발달율은 대조군에 비해 실험군에서 4세포기 (48 vs. 84.4%), 8세포기 (34% vs. 70.6%), 상실배 (26% vs. 58.6%) 그리고 배반포 발달율은 (24% vs. 58.6%)로 높게 관찰되었다. 배아이식후 대조군과 실험군에서 각각 2 마리가 임신이되어 정상적인 산자를 분만하였다. 따라서 항동해제에 taxol의 첨가는 동결 융해후의 난자의 배발달율을 증진시킬 수 있었다..8%로 나타나 난할율 및 배반포 발생율에 있어서 융합조건에 따라 큰 차이는 없었으나 1.9㎸/cm, 30$\mu\textrm{s}$ 2회의 조건이 다른 조건들에 비하여 유의적으로 낮았다. 따라서, 체세포와 수핵란 세포질간의 융합율과 배반포 발생에 미치는 영향은 전압보다는 시간에 더 크게 받음을 알 수 있었으며, 이와 같은 결과에서 융합시 시간을 오래 주는 것보다 전압을 높이는 것이 수핵난자의 세포질에 상해를 줄이고 이후 배반포 발생에 유리할 것으로 사료되었다.면에서도 더욱 더 활발할 것으로 기대된다. 배란후 72시간째에 초음파진단기를 이용하여 난소의 난포발달을 조사한 결과 , 대조구와 bFF처리구에 비해 AI처리구에서 발달난포가 유의적으로 많은 것을 확인하였다. 이상과 같은 결과로, Anti-inhibin serum은 한우 자체에서 분비하는 Inhibin을 특이하게 억제하여 Inhibin에 의해 억제되는 FSH분비가 촉진됨으로써 난포발달과 estrogen의 농도가 촉진되는 것으로 사료되어 anti-inhibin serum이 한우의 과배란유기 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다.정량 분석한 결과이다. 시편의 조성은 33.6 at% U, 66.4 at% O의 결과를 얻었다. 산화물 핵연료의 표면 관찰 및 정량 분석 시험시 시편 표면을 전도성 물질로 증착시키지 않고, Silver Paint 에 시편을 접착하는 방법으로도 만족한 시험 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.째, 회복기 중에 일어나는 입자들의 유입은 자기폭풍의 지속시간을 연장시키는 경향을 보이며 큰 자기폭풍일수록 현저했다. 주상에서 관측된 이러한 특성은 서브스톰 확장기 활동이 자기폭풍의 발달과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 시사한다.se that were all low in two aspects, named "the Nonsignificant group". Design and Implementation of the Central Queue Based Loop Scheduling Method (중앙 큐 기반의 루프 스케쥴링 기법의 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, we present a new scheduling method called CDSS(Carried-Dependence Self-Scheduling) for efficiently execution of the loop with intra dependency between iterations based on the central queue. We also implemented it on shared memory system using Java language. Also, we study the modification that converts the existing self-scheduling method based on the central task queue for parallel loops onto the same form applied to loop with loop-carried dependences. The proposed method is self scheduling and assigns the loops in three-level considering the synchronization point according to the dependence distance of the loops. To adapt the proposed scheme and modified methods into various platforms, including a uni-processor system, we use threads for implementation. Compared to other assignment algorithms with various changes of application and system parameters, CDSS is found to be more efficient than other methods in overall execution time including scheduling overheads. CDSS shows improved performance over modified SS, Factoring, GSS and CSS by about 0.02, 40.5, 46.1 and 53.6%, respectively. In CDSS, we achieve the best performance on varying application programs using a few threads, which equal the dependence distance.

A Phenomenological Study on Experiences as a Dental Intermediary Manager (치과 중간관리자의 근무경험에 대한 현상학적 연구)

  • This study aimed at comprehending the duty, role, and difficulty of intermediary manager through in-depth investigation of dental hygienist intermediary managers experienced over 10 years working in a dental clinic. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 dental intermediary managers and Giorgi's analysis method was used to analyze the data. Findings revealed that the work experience of the dental hygienist intermediary managers appeared in the range of "becoming an intermediary manager through various processes", "various duties that they experience as an intermediary manager", "difficulty as an intermediary manager", "ability that they perceive as necessary for being a dental intermediary manager", and "worthiness they feel as the intermediary manager". The dental intermediary managers complained of difficulties at work, and appeared to perform various tasks such as human resource management, clinic management support, and patient's management. Accordingly, the researcher considers that research on dental intermediary managers' capacity development necessary.

The Effect of SNS Use by Prospective Early Childhood Teachers in PBL-Based Class on the Flow and Problem-Solving Skills (PBL적용수업에서 예비유아교사의 SNS활용이 플로우(FLOW)와 문제해결력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of SNS use by prospective early childhood teachers in PBL class on flow and problem-solving skills. For this purpose, the PBL class was conducted for eight weeks with 44 prospective students in the early childhood social studies course, and measured the classroom situation in terms of usefulness of SNS, flow, and problem-solving skills by using a cognitive test. To analyze the measured values, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and correlation analysis were performed. Also, to verify the hypotheses set in this study, structural equation modeling was used based on AMOS. The result is as follows: First, in PBL-based class, use of SNS had a positive effect on flow. Second, flow had a direct influence on problem-solving skills. Third, however, use of SNS did not have a direct influence on problem-solving skills and, therefore, flow plays a mediating role for problem-solving skills. Based on the result, in the study, it was found that the use of SNS in PBL class can increase interest, motivation, and participation of students and they then become more willing to contribute to class activities.

Comparison of Views on Korean and English Writing: Focusing on Bicultural Koreans in the United States (한국어 작문과 영어 작문에 대한 개념 비교 - 미국에 거주하는 한국인들을 중심으로 -)

  • The numbers of Korean immigrants and students in the United States are steadily increasing, but there have been very few studies of their second language literacy development (Cole, Maddox, Lim, & Notari-Syverson, 2002; Scarcellar & Chin, 1993; Shin, 1994; Skilton-Sylvester, 2001; Yu, 1994). Nor do the very few studies explore the inseparable relationship between Korean literacy and English literacy within a cultural context. This study aims to compare their views on Korean writing with those on English writing to see trace the multiliteracy development of Korean learners of English in the United States. I conducted in-depth oral interviews with Korean immigrants and students of various ages. They were asked to state everything they could remember about what they have learned to write and read in their native language and in their second language across their lifetimes, focusing particularly on the institutions they attended, materials they used, people involved in their learning, and their motivations for writing. The results reveal that the participants developed a view of writing specific to the Korean context and after they moved to the United States, they struggled to readjust the values and meanings they had had for Korean literacy to the second language context. The results of this study suggest future multiliteracy studies are needed to explore multiliteracy development in terms of the meanings and values language learners associate with their multiliteracy and help educational institutions and communities to approach second language learners' multiliteracy development as a life-long experience.
