This study structurally analyzes major inefficiency of Korea's healthcare delivery system by utilizing the systems thinking. In particular, the phenomenon of patient's concentrated visits to large hospitals, waste of resource due to competitions between clinics and large hopitals, and the structure of oversupply were visualized using the causal loop diagram. The inefficient structure of healthcare delivery system can be understood more clearly by utilizing the major system archetypes of 'success to the successful', 'tragedy of commons', 'escalation' and 'limits to growth'. This study also finds solution from archetypal structure suggested by Wolstenholme. The inefficient status of healthcare delivery system might be explained by the 'out of control' archetype. In conclusion, the public resources such as the national health insurance need to be acknowledged as the entire achievement. All the participants should cooperate with each other in order to improve the inefficiency of the healthcare delivery system. In addition, the arrangement of incentive system for cooperation, acceleration of health information technology, and development of innovative business models make the sustainable healthcare delivery system.

This research aims to identify important variables and their effects on diabetes prevention or progression from prediabetes to diabetic complication using system thinking. Based on the existing studies, we have constructed a causal loop diagram explaining dynamics of diabetes and have found 7 important reinforcing loops and 3 balancing loops in the causal loop diagram. The CLD displays an effect of increasing prediabetes early detection and awareness on diabetes prevention. The findings indicate that the projects in Korea for reducing incidence of diabetes and potential risk of complication have focused on variables which are related only on diabetes even though prediabetes has been a critical point on diabetes prevention and management. Thus, it also concludes that the effect of projects focusing only on diabetes have faced limitation to manage diabetes accordingly.

The purpose of this paper is to explore causal relationship between social capital and firm's performance using systems thinking analysis. In strategic networks, the relationship between the members is an important factor affecting the performance. For this reason, we study relationship between social capital and firm's performance on strategic networks. The results show: Firstly, as presented in the existing research, trust and performance are positive relationship(+) and verify the entire system on strategic networks. Secondly, due to exclusiveness and embeddedness of social capital, there is nonlinear relationship between social capital and the firm's performance. Thirdly, the key factor of firm's performance on strategic networks verify relationship dependency and trust.

21세기 들어 기후변화와 지구 온난화로 인한 환경에 대한 정책적 관심이 높아져 왔다. 21세기 초에 집권하였던 한국의 이명박 정부에서는 '녹색 성장(green growth)' 정책을 내걸어서 환경 정책과 경제 성장 정책을 동시에 포괄하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 어떠한 과정을 거쳐서 녹색 성장 정책의 아젠다가 형성되었는지를 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 녹색 성장이라는 정책 아젠다가 형성되는 행태적 과정에 관한 시계열 분석과 함께 구조적 측면으로서 인지지도 분석을 수행한다. 정책 아젠다의 시계열 분석을 위하여 신문 기사와 정책 보고서를 분석하며, 이명박 대통령의 연설문을 분석하여 인지지도를 구축한다. 정책 형성에 관한 시계열 분석 결과 녹색성장의 정책 아젠다 형성에 있어서 정치적 요인에 대한 고려가 사회적 이슈나 정책적 이슈보다 중요한 역할을 수행하였다는 점을 발견할 수 있었다. 다른 한편으로 본 연구의 인지지도 분석은 이명박 대통령의 녹색성장 정책이 미래의 다중 위기에 대한 대응으로 나왔으며, 환경의 발전에 초점을 둔다기 보다는 경제적 발전 특히 일자리 창출을 지향하고 있다는 점을 보여주었다. 본 연구는 인지지도 분석을 통하여 시계열 분석으로는 발견할 수 없는 정책형성의 구조적 관계성을 이해할 수 있다는 점을 보여준다.

Whenever Information leak case had been happened, even though IT Infra systems were reinforced, those cases of kind were not decreased. It meant that the causes are not only the fault of IT, but also other things. So that the information leak cases should have been studied by the interdisciplinary way. There was a point of view for the Business Ethics which needed to be studied in the interdisciplinary way. Financial Information Leak Case of three representative Card Companies in Korea which is happened in 2014 was a case which was composed by many problems. These were bad circumstances, half-educated, lower salary, and the most of all, the C-Levels' ignorance of the law. By studying the CLD: Causal Loop Diagram of Business Ethics and those mentioned factors, few meanings were discovered. Firstly, this case was not a accident, but a predeterminate issue at all, because of the structural unethical corruption. Secondly, main reason of this case was not only criminals who leaked information, but also managers, especially CEO who didn't obey the law, forced that to employees. Thirdly, although those companies had moral guide and did CSR activities, it was not help to protect this information leak case. This study shows that the important thing was not the action for showing, but effective action to management for sustainability.

Accelerated ageing with low fertility is one of the most critical problems in Korea. Because of ageing via low fertility, Korea will face a serious demographic cliff. This research primarily focus on the analyzing the dynamics of the marginal ageing state and decreasing population especially in Eup and Myeon region. This study based on the system dynamics approaches for finding causal loop structure of marginal ageing and critical mass of population disappearing. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, demographic marginalization trends have already begun in the Eups and Myons of Gun. Second, marginal aging speed in Eup/Myeon areas is causing an population disappearing in the near future. Third, critical mass of population disappearing will begin when the rate of marginal aging is exceed 82% after 2023.
