The purpose of this study is to analyze the school autonomy policy based on the system thinking perspective using causal loop diagrams. School autonomy was the main educational policy concerning school domain during the last government and was the instrument for school-based management, but it was not implemented effectively in site. The school autonomy policy practically disappeared as an explicit policy agenda in the current government. This study displays causal loop diagrams about the policy's logic and contents of school autonomy, in terms of curriculum, human resource management, and a supportive system. The causal loop diagrams depicting the implementation of the school autonomy policy are suggested concerning excessive enforcement and the confirmative mechanism for policy implementation. The conclusion provides some research implications and future directions.

This study aims to comprehensively understand the dynamics of the dementia as a social problem and to find out its causes and solutions, using the systems thinking approach. The contents of the study are as follows. Firstly, it examines the existing studies on the dementia, draws their limitations and further presents the major variables to understand the dementia as a social problem. Second, it analyzes the structure of the causation in order to find out the dynamics of the problem. Lastly, it concludes with the suggestions to solve the problem based on its feedback structure presented in the causal loop diagrams. This study is expected to make a useful and basic material to grope for the solutions, as the first research to dynamically understand the dementia as a social problem.

Despite the high efficiency of nuclear power plant, people in Korea do not give approvals and supports the facilities because the risk of the accidents and incidents. In particular, the low level of safety culture is a crucial mechanism that damages the robustness of the NPP. By considering the various definitions of safety culture and analyzing the major reasons of incidents, the conceptual safety culture model is made by using Causal Loop Diagramming. For sustaining development of nuclear power, social supports, incentives and organizational learning are needed. It also requires the coordination of work schedules and the expansion of human resource for protecting the rules and procedures in NPP. Decommissioning aging nuclear power plants will prevent a serious accident. In order to promote the safety culture, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Corporation should disclose more information to the public and promote the internal and external communications.

This research primarily aims at analyzing major crises originating from marginalizing population, especially in counties. In addition, based on the system dynamics approaches, it pays attention to divulging causal loop structure which has been rather strengthened by diverse interactions among key variables. Judging from simulation works, even though Korea is exposed to unprecedented aging trends over decades, its counter response seems inadequate and insufficient, mostly dismissing a series of impact embedded in the aging dynamics. This research statistically confirms that demographic marginalization trends have already begun in the villages within Eup and Myon counties. Furthermore, this research pinpoints out the fact that it would be almost impossible for majority of villages within Eup and Myon counties to escape from going out of existence in the course of time, as they tend to be entrapped vicious cycle of marginalization or extinction.
