Recently, the use of aircraft structures using Ti alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), a lightweight high-strength alloy material, is rapidly increasing due to the weight reduction of aircraft. However, high-strength materials such as Ti alloys require high energy for cutting and are classified as difficult-to-cut materials. Also, research on Laser Assisted Machining (hereinafter referred to as LAM), a cutting processing technology that utilizes improved machinability, is being actively researched. Therefore, in this paper, in order to confirm the proper temperature distribution using a laser, the finite element method is used to determine the temperature distribution according to the calorific value condition to derive the appropriate condition, and the thermal load generated at this time is used as a structural analysis. It is intended to be used as basic data for LAM processing conditions by measuring the amount of residual stress and thermal deformation caused by heat.

Due to increase in concerns related to the climate change, state-wide promotion of the carbon neutrality has been in progress thus far. Smart City could be one of the measures as the initiative to mitigate the missions process. The primary purpose of Smart City can be summarized to be maximization of the social net-beneift to be returned for the local citizens and derivation of the optimal pattern of the energy consumption could belong to one of the elements included in the net-benefit. Currently, the energy consumption by the buildings has been determined to be responsible for the greatest consumption among the sectors considered to be energy-intensive. Moreover, considering the fact that the consumption by operations of HVAC is responsible for nearly 40% in the commercial buildings, it is virtually not possible to optimize schedules for the energy consumption with considerable deliverables from the perspective of the urban planners. Thus, the methods to implement the optimal schedules for the HVAC commissioned with the OHUs were concluded to be the suitable candidate resources for the simulation by EnergyPlus capable of monitoring the thermal changes in each subject space in the present research.

Now that the development of autonomous driving is progressing, LiDAR has become an indispensable element. However, LiDAR is a device that uses lasers, and laser side effects may occur. One of them is the much-talked-about eye-safety, and developers have been satisfying this through laser characteristics and operation methods. But eye-safety is just one of the problems lasers pose. For example, irradiating a laser with a specific energy level or higher in a dusty environment can cause deterioration of the dust particles, leading to a sudden explosion. For this reason, the dust ignition proof regulations clearly state that "a source with a pulse period of less than 5 seconds is considered a continuous light source, and the average energy does not exceed 5 mJ/mm 2 or 35 mW" [2]. Energy of output optical power is limited by the law. In this way, the manufacturer cannot define the usage environment of the LiDAR, and the development of a LiDAR that can be used in such an environment can increase the ripple effect in terms of use in application fields using the LiDAR. In this paper, we develop a LiDAR with low optical power that can be used in environments where high power lasers can cause problems, evaluate its performance. Also, we discuss and present one of the directions for the development of LiDAR with laser power limited by dust ignition proof regulations.

This study proposes a technology to ensure the seismic stability of a 1,000 kW diesel engine-type emergency generator by applying a seismic isolated bed system. The technology allows the static analysis by making the first natural frequency of the installed entire emergency generator larger than the earthquake cutoff frequency of 33 Hz. First a three dimensional model for the generator was made with simplification for mode analysis. A new bed system with springs, shock absorbers, stoppers was then devised. Next, The mode analysis for the finite element model equipped by the bed system was performed. the 1^st natural frequency above 33 Hz, the seismic safety cutoff frequency, was calculated to be 152.92 Hz. Finally, based on the seismic stability theory, the von-Mises equivalent stresses derived by structural analysis under the Upset and Faulted conditions were 0.01603 Mpa, and 32.06 Mpa, respectively. so seismic stability was confirmed.

In this paper, the results of an experimental study were presented by measuring and comparing the flexural strength and deformation on the carbon fiber sheet strength reinforced concrete beam considering end anchorage effect. For this purpose, total six specimens of 100×100×600mm size were prepared and tested according to the KDS 14 20 20. The specimens were categorized in three cases as reference beams without strengthening, beams carbon fiber strengthened but not anchored and beams carbon fiber strengthened also anchored. Experimental results showed that the end anchorage contributed to increase the flexural strength about 42% greater than that of carbon fiber sheets alone, and the number and width of cracks were relatively increased. The results support a considerable effects of end anchorage for carbon fiber strengthened reinforced concrete beams in enhancing the flexural performance. Further studies are needed in durability and long term behavior of carbon fiber sheet strengthened reinforced concrete beams.

According to the National Fire Agency, there were 61 traffic accidents of Fire engines in 2021. That is an increase of about 80% compared to the previous year. And the number of injuries and deaths increased by more than 300%. According to the survey of this study, less than 25% of firefighters wore seat belts of Fire engines during dispatch, contrary to the rapid increase in injuries and deaths. About the reasons for why firefighters do not wear seat belts, It can be found in aspects that are related to personal consciousness, organizational culture, and firefighting dispatch. The number of dispatches will increase in the future, this is considered to be a serious problem for the stability of the firefighting organization. In this study, a seat belt should be designed newly and proposed to improve the seat belt wearing policy.

Recently, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance announced a plan to reduce the proportion of economic evaluation in non-metropolitan areas and strengthen balanced development evaluation through the reorganization of the preliminary feasibility study system. In addition, the social value of the quality of life, such as job, environment, and safety, which may be affected by the implementation of transportation facility investment projects, was reflected as the main item of policy evaluation. In this study, the ripple effect of the project in terms of social value was reviewed for the Gangil-Chuncheon. The effect of highway opening was investigated by reviewing the feasibility report, post-evaluation report, and statistical indicators. Recently, the Gangil-Chuncheon highway is getting used by around 110,000 people per day. The number of tourists in Chuncheon rapidly has increased from 5 million a year to more than 11 million now. In addition, it was confirmed to produce effects such as population migration, net inflow and land price increase, improvement of living convenience, and expansion of emergency medical care. Although this ripple effect was influenced by various socio-economic factors as well as the opening of the highway, it is clear that it is difficult to occur without the opening of the highway. It is judged that the evaluation of indirect benefits and social values due to the opening of the highway can be quantified through continuous research and data construction. Post-evaluation of construction works, including project efficiency evaluation and ripple effect evaluation, is performed for construction works with a construction cost of more than 50 billion won. In the future, we will continuously improve the evaluation system in order to evaluate the indirect benefits and social values of public investment projects.

Recently, many studies have been conducted to utilize the digital aerial photogrammetry method in the field of cadastral surveying. The representative models of digital cameras currently used for aerial photogrammetry are classified into line-type and convex-type cameras, so the representative models were selected and analyzed. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the accuracy suggested by the cadastral survey enforcement rules was satisfied by comparing the orthogonal and ortho image performance. As a result, there were some representative false points that exceeded the acceptable range, but the results extracted from most of the images were shown to satisfy the acceptable range. Therefore, it can be said that the application of digital aerial photogrammetry to the cadastral field in the technical aspect has sufficient potential.

Fossil fuels are one of the various energy sources used by humans, and industrial development has been achieved by relying on fossil fuels for a long time in the past. In order to respond to the depletion of fossil fuels and climate change, the world is trying to build an eco-friendly energy ecosystem. Research on efficiency improvement using renewable energy and ESS in various ways for energy conversion is being promoted. In this paper, a microgrid for industrial complexes was designed, constructed, and demonstrated. It was operated in two modes: an independent mode that each plant generates and uses independently and a connected operation mode that allows energy sharing between factories. In the case of independent mode, PV and PCS were intermittently stopped and restarted according to the status change of SoC section of each site. But, in the case of the connected operation mode, stable power supply was confirmed through power transaction through the operation of the entire SoC. This paper presented and verified an algorithm to stably supply power to industrial complexes consisting of various consumers with different load characteristics.

「Act On Contracts To Which The State Is A Party」 stipulates that the "Construction Standard Production Rate" and "Construction Standard Unit Price" be used as the criteria for determining the estimated price of construction works performed by public institutions. In this regard, issues such as the application scope of the Construction Standard Unit Price, and the effect of budget reduction continue. However, due to the lack of quantitative data on the actual application of Construction Standard Unit Price, it is difficult to objectively evaluate various issues. In order to prepare data for objective evaluation of the Construction Standard Unit Price, this study analyzed the ripple effect of applying the Construction Standard Unit Price based on the bill of quantity. As a result of the analysis, the Construction Standard Unit Price ripple effect in the civil engineering part was 9.2%, and it was analyzed that there was a ripple effect of about 1.9% based on the civil engineering direct cost. In the construction part, the ripple effect was analyzed to be relatively high at 17%, but it was found to have a ripple effect of about 3% in the construction direct cost. Based on the total direct cost, the ripple effect was calculated as 2.2%. Based on the analysis results, it is possible to evaluate the effect of applying the Standard Market Unit Price, and it is expected to be used as basic data to solve issues. As a future study, it is necessary to additionally analyze the ripple effect by Standard Market Unit Price application range (over 10 billion, over 20 billion won, etc.) and delivery system type (comprehensive evaluation, qualification examination, technical bidding, etc.). In addition, it is necessary to study the appropriate ripple effect of the Standard Market Unit Price.

In this study, a seismic reinforcement method was studied to improve the seismic performance of aged bridges. The construction method developed in this study is a compression-only bridge seismic reinforcement method, and has excellent economic feasibility and workability compared to existing construction methods. In the case of aged bridges, there was an advantage that could compensate for the disadvantages that it was difficult to apply the existing reinforcement method. For the newly developed method, the effect of reinforcement was analyzed through resin analysis. As a result of the analysis, when the reinforcement was applied, the axial reinforcement effect was excellent, and the field applicability was excellent as it showed better results than the existing seismic isolation backing method.

In this study, the reinforcement effect of the compression-only bridge seismic reinforcement method, which is mainly applied to old bridges, was studied through SSI analysis. As the analysis conditions, acceleration magnitudes of 0.1g, 0.15g, and 0.2 g were applied, and long-period and short-period seismic waves were applied. As a result of the analysis according to the assumed ground characteristics and structure size, the horizontal displacement at the reinforced section was reduced by about 9%, and the long-period seismic wave had a 95% larger displacement than the short-period seismic wave. In addition, an increase in acceleration of 0.1g resulted in a displacement of about 50%, and a large increase in displacement was observed in long-period seismic waves. As a result of the analysis, in the case of the compression-only bridge seismic reinforcement method, there was a reinforcing effect, so the field applicability was excellent.

This paper introduces the effect of grease on the degradation characteristics of bearings used as key components of packaging equipment and automation systems. Bearings parts are installed to fix and support the rotating body of the system, and performance degradation of the bearings has a great effect on the life of the system too. When bearings are used in various devices and systems, the grease is applied to reduce friction and improve fatigue life. Determining the type of lubricant (grease) is important because it has a great influence on the operating environment and lifespan and ensures long lifespan of systems and facilities. However, studies that simultaneously compared and analyzed the change in mechanical degradation characteristics and the comparison of chemical degradation characteristics according to grease types under actual operating conditions are insufficient. In this paper, three types of small harmonic drive, high-load reducer, and low-load reducer grease used in power transmission joint modules are experimentally selected and finally injected into ball bearings with a load (19,500N) to improve bearing durability. Degradation characteristics were tested by attaching to test equipment. At this time, after the durability test under the same load conditions, the mechanical degradation characteristics, that is temperature, vibration according to the three greases types. In addition, the chemical degradation characteristics of the corresponding grease was compared to present the results of mutual correlation analysis.

The steel industry accounts for about 5% of the total annual global energy consumption and more than 6% of the total anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, there is a need to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in these industries. The utilization of coke oven gas, a byproduct of the coke plant, is one of the main ways to achieve this goal. Coke oven gas used as a fuel in many steelmaking process is a hydrogen-rich gas with high energy potential, but it is commonly used as a heat source and is even released directly into the air after combustion reactions. In order to solve such resource waste and energy inefficiency, several alternatives have recently been proposed, such as separating and refining hydrogen directly from coke oven gas or converting it to syngas. Therefore, in this study, recent research trends on the separation and purification of hydrogen from coke oven gas and the production of syngas were introduced.

Homeownership is much more than a financial calculation. It is a socio-psychological phenomenon. During the last decade studies of homeownership have demonstrated a positive link between homeownership and positive social outcomes including welfare perceptions and attitudes. This study compared welfare perceptions between homeowners and renters in Korean Welfare Panel Survey using data collected in 2019. The study analyzed six continuous outcomes of welfare perceptions. Six variables indicating welfare perceptions included: (1) welfare and work disincentives; (2) welfare recipients are lazy; (3) welfare selectivism; (4) national minimum; (5) free university education and; (6) free child care and kindergarten. This study acknowledged bias arising from selection on observables. To control these biases, this study employed analytical approaches including the treatment effect model. Results of this study confirmed that attainment of homeownership is not possible for everyone. Findings from this study have provided some evidence that homeowners and renters have different perceptions on welfare listed above. Finally, issues relating to homeownership and welfare perceptions were discussed. Implications for social work practice and research were further discussed.

This study provides an investigating the electrolyte reaction characteristics during thermal runaway of a lithium-ion battery(LIB). Dimethyl carbonate(DMC) is known as the main substance that makes up the electrolyte. The mono-molecular decomposition characteristics of DMC were derived through numerical analysis. Cobalt oxide can release oxygen under high temperature conditions. Also, DMC is converted to CH₄, H₂, CO, and CO₂. Especially, it was found that the decomposition of the DMC begins at a temperature range of 340-350℃, which dramatically increases the internal pressure of the LIB. In the by-products gases, the molar ratio of CO and CO₂ changed according to the molecular structure of DMC and temperature conditions. The correlation of the [CO]/[CO₂] ratio according to the temperature during thermal runaway was derived, and the characteristics of the reaction temperature could be estimated using the molar ratio as an indicator. In addition, the oxidation and decomposition characteristics of DMC according to the residence time for each temperature were estimated. When DMC is exposed to low temperature for a long time, both oxidation and decomposition may occur. There is possibility of not only increasing the internal pressure of the LIB, but also promoting thermal runaway. In this study, internal environment of LIB was identified and the reaction characteristics between the active materials of the cathode and electrolyte were investigated.

In this paper, we propose a low-cost, low-power embedded environment-based deep learning lightweight model for input images to recognize laundry management codes. Laundry franchise companies mainly use barcode recognition-based systems to record laundry consignee information and laundry information for laundry collection management. Conventional laundry collection management systems using barcodes require barcode printing costs, and due to barcode damage and contamination, it is necessary to improve the cost of reprinting the barcode book in its entirety of 1 billion won annually. It is also difficult to do. Recognition performance is improved by applying the VGG model with 7 layers, which is a reduced-transformation of the VGGNet model for number recognition. As a result of the numerical recognition experiment of service parts drawings, the proposed method obtained a significantly improved result over the conventional method with an F1-Score of 0.95.

The relationship between homeownership and participation in giving and volunteering overall indicates that homeowners are more likely to give and participate in volunteering organizations than renters. This study compared 'giving and participation in volunteering between homeowners(n=6,078) and renters(3,587) in the 14^th Korean Welfare Panel Survey data collected in 2019. The outcome measure of study is a binary outcome of giving and volunteering participation. This study accounted for a bias arising from selection on observables. Specifically, this study employed a recursive bivariate probit model to simultaneously estimate respondents' participation in giving and volunteering participation and their selection of homeownership. Findings from this study have provided some evidence that homeowners and renters have different behaviors in giving and volunteering participation. Finally, issues relating to homeownership and social outcomes were discussed. Implications for social work practice and research were further discussed.

Modern cities need to revitalize the downtown area, which is declining due to population decline, economic recession, and deterioration of the residential environment, economically, socially, and physically by introducing and creating new functions. In addition, the hollowing out of the existing city center is getting worse due to the development of the outskirts of the city. Therefore, the discussion for the development of urban regeneration is the core task of modern cities. This study analyzed based on a basic understanding of urban regeneration projects, and through this, the problems of domestic urban regeneration projects were derived. In addition, the problem factors and major improvement plans of the urban regeneration project were analyzed from the expert's point of view using the AHP analysis technique. Based on this, the purpose is to present policy alternatives for the future development of urban regeneration projects. The problems derived to present the policy alternatives and improvement directions of the urban regeneration project were classified into problems related to goal achievement, problems related to the business itself, and problems related to project results. It was subdivided into sub-categories. This study analyzed the problem factors and major improvements from the expert's point of view by using the AHP analysis technique for the problems of the urban regeneration project. Based on the AHP analysis results and experts' opinions, five policy alternatives for the development of urban regeneration projects were presented.

The need for remanufacturing ships and various mechanical components continues to increase along with environmental problems. Research on remanufacturing is being carried out in various fields, but research on cleaning is quite insufficient. In particular, there is no research on the cleaning-ability of diverse mechanical components. In order to increase the life cycle of mechanical components, remanufacturing must be considered from the step of design. Particularly, it is also very important to evaluate the degree of easiness in cleaning to remove various pollutants generated by long-term use quickly as well as easily. In this study, the degree of easiness in cleaning is defined as cleaning-ability. In fact, remanufacturing components can be easily done only when cleaning-ability is set high from the step of design. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cleaning-ability of ships and various mechanical components. The details of easiness in cleaning are cleaning and drying identification, accessibility to cleaning tools, convenience in cleaning, and convenience in drying. This study presents a quantitative procedure to evaluate cleaning-ability, derived various factors influencing each of the details of easiness and their ranges, and gave scores to the factors according to their ranges. The weight was also calculated for the details of easiness in cleaning and the factors. Lastly, this researcher suggests a scoring procedure to evaluate cleaning-ability quantitatively and the total weight of cleaning-ability.
