This study was conducted to find out the psychological or physiological healing effects of real natural forests and virtual forest experiences using virtual reality (VR) in an artificially-controlled digital environment. To find out this, 81 healthy undergraduate students from C University were experimented on visual forest stimulation effects in the digital environment from September 5 to December 9 in 2022. The experiment evaluated the psychological and physiological healing effects of visual forest stimulation in the digital forest environment (2D, 3D). The SRI (stress response inventory) experiment for analyzing psychological effect showed statistically significant differences among groups. As for the SRI experiment for measuring psychological stress, except Control group, 2D group in the digital environment showed little difference before and after the experiment. But 3D group showed less stress than before. As a result, it was proved that visual forest stimulation in a forest-based digital environment (2D, 3D) reduces psychological stress significantly. And when analyzing how visual forest stimulation changes EEG (electroencephalogram) in the digital environment, alpha waves (RA), which are activated during relaxation or stabilization, were more active than beta waves (RB), which are activated during tension or awakening. This study is expected to be used to create a psychological and physiological healing environment for those who cannot go to a natural forest due to mobility difficulties by providing them visual forest stimulation experiences in a digital environment. It is also expected that the results will be the basis for forest healing in the digital environment and virtual reality programs will help forest healing activities.
Awe is recognized as an emotion linked to enhancing openness to new experiences and broadening one's cognitive perspective through the acquisition of new knowledge. This research aimed to investigate awe's impact on consumer behavior in advertising, using a 2 (emotion: awe/control) × 2 (product type: innovative/non-innovative) experimental design with 118 undergraduate students in Seoul, Korea. Findings revealed that awe-inducing advertising significantly increases product preference and positive technology readiness, particularly for innovative products compared to non-innovative ones or when awe is not elicited. The analysis of moderated mediation showed that positive technology readiness plays a mediating role in the relationship between awe induction and product preference. Notably, in the case of innovative products, awe-inducing advertising heightens positive technology readiness, subsequently increasing consumer preference for these products. These results reinforce existing literature on awe's positive effects, demonstrating its role in augmenting consumers' favorable attitudes toward innovative products. The study offers valuable insights for marketing strategies of companies promoting innovative products or services, highlighting the effectiveness of awe-inducing emotional appeals in shaping consumer attitudes towards innovation.
The purpose of this study is to explore visual models for deriving the fractional division algorithm, to see how students understand this integrated model, the rectangular partition model, when taught in elementary school classrooms, and how they structure relationships between fractional division situations. The conclusions obtained through this study are as follows. First, in order to remind the reason for multiplying the reciprocal of the divisor or the meaning of the reciprocal, it is necessary to explain the calculation process by interpreting the fraction division formula as the context of a measurement division or the context of the determination of a unit rate. Second, the rectangular partition model can complement the detour or inappropriate parts that appear in the existing model when interpreting the fraction division formula as the context of a measurement division, and can be said to be an appropriate model for deriving the standard algorithm from the problem of the context of the inverse of a Cartesian product. Third, in the context the inverse of a Cartesian product, the rectangular partition model can naturally reveal the calculation process in the context of a measurement division and the context of the determination of a unit rate, and can show why one division formula can have two interpretations, so it can be used as an integrated model.
Background: Children who use playground facilities are exposed to potential risks due to the high concentration of heavy metals contained in the finishing materials of facilities in children's playgrounds. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the concentration of heavy metals in the finishing materials of outdoor children's playgrounds where harmful heavy metals exist in Gwangju and to conduct human risk assessment for children and adults by age to find the risks and limitations. Methods: The bottom and top layers of double-painted paint were peeled off and collected together from the finishing materials of children's play facilities such as slides, swings, and seesaws in 147 children's parks in Gwangju. Heavy metals were analyzed using ICP-OES, etc., and human risk assessment was performed using the concentrations of heavy metals. Results: Based on 1.0E-04, which requires legal regulation, CTE was found to pose a carcinogenic risk for preschool children and no carcinogenic risk for the rest of the age groups. However, RME showed that both men and women of all ages had a carcinogenic risk. For reference, when the carcinogenic risk was based on 1.0E-06, CTE was found to pose a carcinogenic risk from infants to elementary school students, and RME was found to have a carcinogenic risk in all age groups. It was judged that there is a non-carcinogenic risk if the non-carcinogenic risk exceeds 1 based on the hazard index (HI) 1. In CTE, there was no non-carcinogenic risk, and RME for preschooler males (1.49E+00) and females (1.56E+00) were found to have non-carcinogenic risk. Conclusions: This study was meaningful in that it examines the differences in the current management of heavy metals concentration standards and potential carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks to the human body and discusses the relationship between heavy metals and human health effects.

Research Results First, in the case of strengthening democratic citizenship education in schools, one of the main tasks in the general discussion of the 2022 revised curriculum emphasizes democratic citizenship education to cultivate citizenship. are doing Second, in the case of teacher professionalism enhancement and support for educational activities, development of teaching and learning materials and reinforcement of teacher training are promoted in the 2022 revised curriculum summary. Typhoons are significant meteorological phenomena that cause interactions among the ocean, atmosphere, and land within Earth's system. In particular, wind speed, a key characteristic of typhoons, is influenced by various factors such as central pressure, trajectory, and sea surface temperature. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding based on actual observational data is essential. In the 2015 revised secondary school textbooks, typhoon wind speed is presented through text and illustrations; hence, exploratory activities that promote a deeper understanding of wind speed are necessary. In this study, we developed a data visualization program with a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate the understanding of typhoon wind speeds with simple operations during the teaching-learning process. The program utilizes red-green-blue (RGB) image data of Typhoons Mawar, Guchol, and Bolaven -which occurred in 2023- from the Korean geostationary satellite GEO-KOMPSAT-2A (GK-2A) as the input data. The program is designed to calculate typhoon wind speeds by inputting cloud movement coordinates around the typhoon and visualizes the wind speed distribution by inputting parameters such as central pressure, storm radius, and maximum wind speed. The GUI-based program developed in this study can be applied to typhoons observed by GK-2A without errors and enables scientific exploration based on actual observations beyond the limitations of textbooks. This allows students and teachers to collect, process, analyze, and visualize real observational data without needing a paid program or professional coding knowledge. This approach is expected to foster digital literacy, an essential competency for the future.

The purpose of this study is to present the direction of teacher training to the future society by analyzing the key directions for teacher training announced by the Teacher Education and Training Department of the Ministry of Education for the past three years (2021, 2022, and 2023). The research results are as follows. First, there has been no change in the background for teacher training over the past three years. The background for the promotion of teacher training over the past three years is to increase teacher expertise, respond to the future environment, improve the quality of teacher training, and secure momentum for educational policy. The details of the background for the promotion have also remained unchanged over the past three years. Second, the teacher training vision for the past three years is innovation in the teacher training system. To this end, the vision is to lead changes in the future educational environment in 2021, to lead future public education in 2022, and to provide customized educational support for individual students in 2023. In terms of training goals, in 2021, the goal is to continuously develop professionalism appropriate for the life stage of teachers and enhance teacher core competencies suitable for the future educational environment, and in 2022, to strengthen teacher capabilities appropriate for the future education system and secure social trust through enhancing teacher training. In 2023, the focus is on changing classroom teaching through strengthening teacher capabilities suitable for the future education system and improving teacher training. There are three main directions for teacher training over the past three years. First, customized training support, second, strengthening the future training system, and third, improving teacher training. These three are all similar over the past three years. In conclusion, there has been no significant change in the direction of teacher training over the past three years.
Purpose of study: Recognizing the importance of securing professionalism in church education in the context of the serious problem of church eucation in the Korean church today, this study aims to reveal the problems of current church education and suggest alternatives for solving the problems. Research content and method: The Korean church is facing crises. One of the crises is the decline in church membership and worship attendance. Another, more fundamental problem is the crisis of church education, where the number of students in Sunday schools is plummeting, and many young people are leaving the church. Many of them are questioning the quality of church education leaders. The decline and demise of Sunday schools does not bode well for the future of the Korean church. What the church needs to do to address these issues is to build up educational professionals. Leadership and professionalism are critical issues. Until now, the needs of church education in the Korean church have relied on dedication and life mission rather than professionalism. And these criteria were enough. It has been 34 years since the October 1989 resolution of the General Assembly of the Christian Church in Korea to establish a system of educators. However, little progress has been made and the system has not been changed to a system of educators. One of the ways to solve this problem is for the Korean church to prepare for the future of the Korean church by utilizing educators for church growth and the restoration of Sunday schools. Conclusions and Suggestions: For the function, mission, and purpose of the church, the system of educators is requested to be established in the Korean church as soon as possible to fulfill the professional church education and educational pastoral mission. In response to this call, current Korean church education needs to change and innovate. The direction of innovation is professional education, which means that there is a need and urgency for professional educators qs church education leaders.

This study employs photovoice research methodology to investigate adolescents' experiences in sibling relationships and to analyze the impact of sibling interactions on their development and growth. The participants comprised eight high school students with one sibling (four males and four females) residing in the Incheon region. The research process encompassed several stages: participant recruitment, orientation, photovoice activity (focus group interviews), data analysis, and conclusion derivation. During the photovoice activity, participants engaged in a narrative process of photographing, interpreting, and discussing their experiences. The narratives were categorized into four primary themes: structure and environment, emotional interactions, roles, and parental subsystems. The conclusions drawn from the study are as follows: First, the similarity formed in sibling relationships during adolescence contributes to psychological stability. Second, roles and expectations based on birth order can cause stress for adolescents, indicating the need for equitable role adjustments within the family. Third, conflict in sibling relationships is crucial for enhancing problem-solving and social relationship skills. Lastly, consistent parenting attitudes significantly affect the emotional well-being of siblings. This study emphasizes the significance of fostering a deeper understanding of human development and family relationships through an exploration of adolescent sibling dynamics within home economics education.
The purpose of this study was to develop a program to prevent recurrence, focusing on cognitive and behavioral factors to reduce gambling game behavior in children, and to verify the effectiveness to analyze basic data necessary for prevention education. Eight children in the 4th to 6th grades of male students were selected, an experiment and control group were formed, and the effectiveness was verified only after 3 months after the experimental group was conducted once a week. First, irrational gambling beliefs, the level of gambling problems, automatic thinking for children, and the level of gambling problems were reduced through cognitive behavior therapy programs to reduce gambling game behavior in children. Changes in maladaptive thinking that directly affect gambling game behavior instilled awareness of gambling game behavior. Second, self-control and impulsiveness, the behavioral variables, did not show any significant difference, but decreased in the overall average. Changes in cognitive variables influenced behavioral variables. Third, it was found to continue even 3 months after the end of the program. Changes in cognitive and behavioral variables later reduced children's gambling game behavior and helped school life and peer relationships through adaptive thinking.
