  • In this paper, general classes of continuous distributions are characterized by considering the conditional expectations of functions of upper record statistics. The specific distribution considered as a particular case of the general class of distribution are Exponential, Exponential Power(EP), Inverse Weibull, Beta Gumbel, Modified Weibull(MW), Weibull, Pareto, Power, Singh-Maddala, Gumbel, Rayleigh, Gompertz, Extream value 1, Beta of the first kind, Beta of the second kind and Lomax.

  • In this paper, we construct some results on the existence and regularity for solutions of neutral functional differential equations with unbounded principal operators in Hilbert spaces. In order to establish the existence and regularity for solutions of the neutral system by using fractional power of operators and the local Lipschtiz continuity of nonlinear term without using many of the strong restrictions considering in the previous literature.

  • Characterizations of probability distributions by different regression conditions on generalized order statistics has attracted the attention of many researchers. We present here, characterization of Pareto and Weibull distributions based on the conditional expectation of generalized order statistics extending the characterization results reported by Jin and Lee (2014). We also present a characterization of the power function distribution based on the conditional expectation of lower generalized order statistics.

  • In this paper, we propose new algorithms for solving equilibrium and multivalued variational inequality problems in a real Hilbert space. The first algorithm for equilibrium problems uses only one approximate projection at each iteration to generate an iteration sequence converging strongly to a solution of the problem underlining the bifunction is pseudomonotone. On the basis of the proposed algorithm for the equilibrium problems, we introduce a new algorithm for solving multivalued variational inequality problems. Some fundamental experiments are given to illustrate our algorithms as well as to compare them with other algorithms.

  • For a permutation ${\mu}$ in S$\sub$b/, the limit algebra A${\mu}$ of the stationary system given by ${\mu}$ is isomorphic to a refinement limit algebra if and only if its exponent set E(${\mu}$) is the set {0}. In the current paper, we prove a sufficient condition under which E(${\mu}$)={0} when the order of ${\mu}$ is a power of p, where p is a prime number dividing b.

  • In this work, by using an integral identity together with both the Hölder and the power-mean integral inequalities we establish several new inequalities for n-times differentiable arithmetic-harmonically-convex function. Then, using this inequalities, we obtain some new inequalities connected with means. In special cases, the results obtained coincide with the well-known results in the literature.

  • In this paper, we generalize the concept of the energy of Seidel matrix S(G) which denoted by Sα(G) and obtain some results related to this matrix. Also, we obtain an upper and lower bound for Sα(G) related to all of graphs with |detS(G)| ≥ (n - 1); n ≥ 3.

  • In this paper, using the theory of majorization, we discuss the Schur m power convexity for L-conjugate means of n variables and the Schur convexity for weighted L-conjugate means of n variables. As applications, we get several inequalities of general mean satisfying Schur convexity, and a few comparative inequalities about n variables Gini mean are established.

  • Let B(z) be a power series with operator coefficients where multiplication by B(z), T, is a contractive and everywhere defined transforamtion in the square summable power series. Then there is a Julia operator U for T such that $$ U = (T D)(\tilde{D}^* L) \in B(H \oplus D, K \oplus \tilde{D}), $$ where D is the state space of a conjugate canonical linear system with transfer function B(z).

  • In this paper we give some conditions under which the Weyl spectrum of an operator satisfies the spectral mapping theorem for analytic functions. Also we show that Weyl's theorem holds for p(T) where T is an operator of M-power class (N) and p is a polynomial on a neighborhood of $\sigam(T)$. Finally we answer an old question of Oberai.
