  • Let G(A) denote a generalized Kac Moody Lie algebra associated to a symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix A. In this paper, we study on representations of G(A). Highest weight modules and the category O are described. In the main theorem we show that some G(A) modules from the category O are completely reducible. Also a criterion for irreducibility of highest weight modules is obtained. This was proved in [3] for the case of Kac Moody Lie algebras.

  • Singular points are those at which the determinant of a Jacobian matrix is zero. A parallel manipulator gains mostly an extra DOF at the singular points, where it can not be properly controlled. In this study, singular points of a cubic parallel manipulator are illustrated by obtaining the determinant of a Jacobian matrix mathematically, and the singular points of the manipulator are found to be three separate planes in a 3D space. The dependency among links for each singular point is determined by applying linear algebra. Also, the singular points and workspace of the cubic parallel manipulator are plotted to check if the workspace contain singular points.

  • With the primitive orders in quaternion algebra, theta series associated with these orders are constructed. Here, we studied the space of modular forms generated by these theta series.

  • We define the spherical non-commutative torus $L_{\omega}$/ as the crossed product obtained by an iteration of l crossed products by actions of, the first action on C( $S^{2n+l}$). Assume the fibres are isomorphic to the tensor product of a completely irrational non-commutative torus $A_{p}$ with a matrix algebra $M_{m}$ ( ) (m > 1). We prove that $L_{\omega}$/ $M_{p}$ (C) is not isomorphic to C(Prim( $L_{\omega}$/)) $A_{p}$ $M_{mp}$ (C), and that the tensor product of $L_{\omega}$/ with a UHF-algebra $M_{p{\infty}}$ of type $p^{\infty}$ is isomorphic to C(Prim( $L_{\omega}$/)) $A_{p}$ $M_{m}$ (C) $M_{p{\infty}}$ if and only if the set of prime factors of m is a subset of the set of prime factors of p. Furthermore, it is shown that the tensor product of $L_{\omega}$/, with the C*-algebra K(H) of compact operators on a separable Hilbert space H is not isomorphic to C(Prim( $L_{\omega}$/)) $A_{p}$ $M_{m}$ (C) K(H) if Prim( $L_{\omega}$/) is homeomorphic to $L^{k}$ (n)$\times$ $T^{l'}$ for k and l' non-negative integers (k > 1), where $L^{k}$ (n) is the lens space.$T^{l'}$ for k and l' non-negative integers (k > 1), where $L^{k}$ (n) is the lens space.e.

  • Internet has been widely spread out and the need of convenient mathematical expression in the internet has been in need. In this paper, we discvss how MathML and JAVA have been developed for mathematical expressions in the internet. And we introduce our JAVA applet tools that adapted the object oriented programming techniques of the MathML and JAVA. Most of our JAVA toots have been developed for linear algebra course whose method can be applied to other subject as well. Then we discuss how we use those tools and output from the use of them in our class.

  • There is much literature on the study of matrices over a finite Boolean algebra. But many results in Boolean matrix theory are stated only for binary Boolean matrices. This is due in part to a semiring isomorphism between the matrices over the Boolean algebra of subsets of a k element set and the k tuples of binary Boolean matrices. This isomorphism allows many questions concerning matrices over an arbitrary finite Boolean algebra to be answered using the binary Boolean case. However there are interesting results about the general (i.e. nonbinary) Boolean matrices that have not been mentioned and they differ somwhat from the binary case.

  • Let (equation omitted) be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra with the indecomposable generalized Cartan matrix A and W be its Weyl group. Let $\theta$ be the highest root of the corresponding finite dimensional simple Lie algebra ${\gg}$ of g. For the type ${A_N}^{(r)}$, we give an element $\omega_{o}\;\in\;W$ such that ${{\omega}_o}^{-1}({\{\Delta\Delta}_{+}})\;=\;{\{\Delta\Delta}_{-}}$. And then we prove that the degree of nilpotency of the subalgebra (equation omitted) is greater than or equal to $ht{\theta}+1$.

  • In this paper, we present a novel LDPC code construction called as semi-algebra low density parity check(LDPC) codes which is one kind of deterministic LDPC code based on dual-diagonal sub-matrix. The constructing method results in a class of high rate LDPC codes. Codes in this class have a large girth and good minimum distances. Furthermore, they can be implemented by simple parallel array architecture using cyclic shift register and perform well with the iterative decoding.

  • In our new learning environment, we were asked to change our teaching method in our Linear Algebra class. In mathematics class, we could use several math-softwares such as MATHEMATICA, MATLAB, MAPLE, Drive etc.. MATLAB was quite well fit with our Linear Algebra class. In this paper we introduce an efficient way of delivery on important concepts in linear algebra by using well-known MATLAB/ATLAST M-files which we downloded from http://www.umassd.edu/specialprograms/atlast/.
