[1]에서 ETBF(extended threshold Boolean filter)의 부분군인 self-dual ETBF가 중앙값 부여파기 출력의 평균547으로 주어짐을 보였다. 이 논문에서는 ETBF의 입력을 실수로 확장하고 이를 이용하여 ETBF의 scale-preservation 성질 및 translation-invariance 성질을 고찰하였다. 특히, ETBF의 scale-preserving 성질이 self-dual 성질의 필요 충분 조건임을 보였다.

Airlines have been introducing self check-in kiosks to reduce check-in time and improve operational efficacy to increase business revenue. The domestic airlines have actively provided kiosks at airports which are expected to reduce their operating costs and enrich their passengers' travel convenience. Based on the above background, the study investigates the factors influencing intention to use the self check-in kiosks by employing the Extended Technology Acceptance Model (ETAM). The study, therefore, designed a research model by reviewing theories and studies on the relationship among information quality, innovativeness, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use the kiosks. The structural equation model revealed the following. Information quality and innovativeness had a significantly positive influence on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness; furthermore, perceived ease of use had a significantly positive influence on perceived usefulness. In addition, both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a significantly positive influence on intention to use. The results indicate that the airlines should constantly develop user-friendly contents and design of the self check-in kiosks.

Hawkes process is a self-exciting simple point process with clustering effect whose jump rate depends on its entire past history and has been widely applied in insurance, finance, queueing theory, statistics, and many other fields. Seol [27] proposed the inverse Markovian Hawkes processes and studied some asymptotic behaviors. In this paper, we consider an extended inverse Markovian Hawkes process which combines a Markovian Hawkes process and inverse Markovian Hawkes process with features of several existing models of self-exciting processes. We study the limit theorems for an extended inverse Markovian Hawkes process. In particular, we obtain a law of large number and central limit theorems.

In this paper a new concept, named the Extended Operational Space Formulation, has been proposed for the effective analysis and real-time control of the robot manipulators with kinematic redundancy. The extended operational space consists of operational space and optimal null space. The operational space is used to describe robot end-effector motion; whereas the optimal null space, defined as the target space of the self motion manifold, is used to express the self motion for the secondary tasks. Based upon the proposed formulation, the kinematics, statics, and dynamics of redundant robots have been analyzed, and an efficient control algorithm has been proposed. Using this algorithm, one can optimize a performance measure while tracking a desired end-effector trajectory with a better computational efficiency than the conventional methods. The effective ness of the proposed method has been demonstrated with simulations.

In this paper, we present a new construction for self-dual codes that uses the concept of double bordered construction, group rings, and reverse circulant matrices. Using groups of orders 2, 3, 4, and 5, and by applying the construction over the binary field and the ring F₂ + uF₂, we obtain extremal binary self-dual codes of various lengths: 12, 16, 20, 24, 32, 40, and 48. In particular, we show the significance of this new construction by constructing the unique Extended Binary Golay Code [24, 12, 8] and the unique Extended Quadratic Residue [48, 24, 12] Type II linear block code. Moreover, we strengthen the existing relationship between units and non-units with the self-dual codes presented in [10] by limiting the conditions given in the corollary. Additionally, we establish a relationship between idempotent and self-dual codes, which is done for the first time in the literature.

본 논문은 스마트 폰 기반의 유비쿼터스 헬스 시스템의 수용 여부에 영향을 미치는 건강 자기효능감 (health self-efficacy) 및 기술 자기효능감 (technology self-efficacy) 요인들의 영향 정도를 확장된 기술수용모형(TAM)을 통하여 분석하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 표본의 크기를 고려하여 제시된 연구 모형을 검증하기 위하여 PLS-SEM 방법론을 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 제시된 연구모형의 적합성을 확인하였고, 각 경로 계수의 통계적 유의성 또한 분석이 되었다. 결국, 기술 자기효능감인 스마트 폰 기기의 사용에 대한 쉬운 접근성만 높일 수만 있다면, 사용 의도의 가능성이 높아짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

In the setting of extended quasi b-metric spaces, we introduce a new concept called "extended A-contraction". We then use our concept to prove a common fixed point result for a pair of self mappings under a set of conditions. Also, we provide the concepts of extended B-contraction and extended R-contraction. We then establish a common fixed point under these new contractions. Our results generalize many existing result of fixed point in metric spaces. Furthermore, we give an example to illustrate and support our result.

Prevalent usage of mobile devices among consumers has been well recognized and this is especially imperative among young adult consumers. The mobile phone became the gateway of their communication, media consumption, retail transaction, education, and (virtual) social life. However, there is little empirical research explaining the dynamics behind the psychological underpinning of young adult consumers, specifically Generation Y, to understand their usages and dependency on mobile phones. This study, therefore, aims to unveil antecedents and consequences of Gen Y consumers' mobile phone dependency from a media psychological perspective. We developed a conceptual model based on theory of self-monitoring (Snyder 1974, 1987), extended self-concept (Belk, 1988), and media dependency theory (Ball-Rokeach & Defluer, 1976). Four hundred ninety-eight students in the U.S. provided usable responses to our pencil-and-paper survey. Causal modeling analysis results demonstrated that both ability to modify one's behavior and sensitivity to cues for social appropriate behavior dimensions of the self-monitoring tendency positively predicted one's level of fashion involvement, which in turn positively predicted his/her mobile phone dependency. Individual's mobile phone dependency, fashion involvement and self-monitoring's ability dimension exhibited positive and direct impact on one's perception of the salience of mobile phone case product attributes. Based on the findings, we provided pragmatic and theoretical implications for the industry and academia.

Complementation theory in krein spaces can be extended for any self-adjoint transformation. There is a close relation between Julia operators and linear systems. The theory of Julia operators can be used to construct distinct Krein spaces which are the state spaces of extended canonical linear systems with given transfer function.
