Abstract. In this paper, we investigate the relationships between the space X and the hyperspace C(X) concerning admissibility and connectedness im kleinen. The following results are obtained: Let X be a Hausdorff continuum, and let A ∈ C(X). (1) If for each open set U containing A there is a continuum K and a neighborhood V of a point of A such that V ⊂ IntK ⊂ K ⊂ U, then C(X) is connected im kleinen. at A. (2) If IntA ≠ ø, then for each open set U containing A there is a continuum K and a neighborhood V of a point of A such that V ⊂ IntK ⊂ K ⊂ U. (3) If X is connected im kleinen. at A, then A is admissible. (4) If A is admissible, then for any open subset U of C(X) containing A, there is an open subset V of X such that A ⊂ V ⊂ ∪U. (5) If for any open subset U of C(X) containing A, there is a subcontinuum K of X such that A ∈ IntK ⊂ K ⊂ U and there is an open subset V of X such that A ⊂ V ⊂ ∪ IntK, then A is admissible.

In this paper, we present some fixed point theorems for rational type contractive conditions in the setting of a complete metric space via a cyclic (𝛼, 𝛽)-admissible mapping imbedded in simulation function. Our results extend and generalize some previous works from the existing literature. We also give some examples to illustrate the obtained results.

In this paper, we present a fixed point theorem for a family of generalized condensing multimaps which have ranges of the Zima-Hadžić type in Hausdorff KKM uniform spaces. It extends Himmelberg et al. type fixed point theorem. As applications, we obtain some new collective fixed point theorems for various type generalized condensing multimaps in abstract convex uniform spaces.

In this paper, we have developed the idea of α-β-ψ-contractive mapping in S-metric space and renamed it α_s-β_s-ψ-contractive mapping. We have proved some results of fixed point present in literature in partially ordered S-metric space using α_s-β_s-admissible and α_s-β_s-ψ-contractive mapping.

In this paper, we define admissible canal surfaces with isotropic radius vectors in pseudo-Galilean 3-spaces and we obtaine their position vectors. We also attain some important results by considering their Gauss and mean curvatures.

Using the notions of admissibility, local convexity and measure of noncompactness, we give new fixed point theorems for quasicompact or condensing multivalued mappings with domains that are not necessarily convex subsets of an arbitrary topological vector space.

In this article, we introduce the concept of contractive mapping, which is generally weak in metric spaces, and show the existence and uniqueness of the fixed point for such mapping in a metric space.
