  • Mixed finite element method is developed to approxi-mate the solution of the initial-boundary value problem for a strongly nonlinear second-order hyperbolic equation in divergence form. Exis-tence and uniqueness of the approximation are proved and optimal-order $L\infty$-in-time $L^2$-in-space a priori error estimates are derived for both the scalar and vector functions approximated by the method.

  • In this paper, we establish almost stability of Ishikawa iterative schemes with errors for the classes of Lipschitz $\phi$-strongly quasi-accretive operators and Lipschitz $\phi$-hemicontractive operators in arbitrary Banach spaces. The results of this paper extend a few well-known recent results.

  • In this paper, we introduce a parallel iterative method for finding a common fixed point of a finite family of Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings in a real reflexive Banach space. Moreover, we give some applications of the main theorem for solving some related problems. Finally, some numerical examples are developed to illustrate the behavior of the new algorithms with respect to existing algorithms.

  • We define a (${\tau}_i$, ${\tau}_j$)-fuzzy strongly preopen set on a fuzzy bitopological space and characterize a fuzzy pairwise strong precontinuous mapping and a fuzzy pairwise strong preopen mapping(a fuzzy pairwise strong preclosed mapping) on a fuzzy bitopological space.

  • We introduce a generic method to analyze optical 17reflectance spectra of strongly correlated electron systems including high-temperature superconductors by using an extended Drude model and Allen's approach. We explain the process step by step from reflectance through the optical conductivity and the scattering rate to the bosonic spectral function. Through the process we are able to get important information on the interactions between charge carriers from measured optical conductivity of the strongly correlated electron systems including copper oxide and iron pnitide high temperature superconductors.

  • In this paper, we prove that under certain conditions the Ishikawa iterative method with errors converges strongly to the unique solution of the nonlinear strongly accretive operator equation Tx=f. Related results deal with the solution of the equation x+Tx=f. Our results extend and improve the corresponding results of Liu, Childume, Childume-Osilike, Tan-Xu, Deng, Deng-Ding and others.

  • In this paper, we introduce and study the concept of "strongly $t$-linked extensions", which is a stronger version of $t$-linked extensions of integral domains. We show that for an extension of Pr$\ddot{u}$fer $v$-multiplication domains, this concept is equivalent to that of "$w$-faithfully flat".
