  • We consider one class of bursting oscillation models, that is square-wave burster. One of the interesting features of these models is that periodic bursting solution need not to be unique or stable for arbitrarily small values of a singular perturbation parameter $\epsilon$. Recent results show that the bursting solution is uniquely determined and stable for most of the ranges of the small parameter $\epsilon$. In this paper, we present a condition of uniqueness and stability of periodic bursting solutions for all sufficiently small values of $\epsilon$ > 0.

  • Dealing with a question of gross, we prove some uniqueness theorems concerning meromorphic functions with the notion of weighted sharing of sets. Our results will not only improve and supplement respectively two results of Lahiri-Banerjee [9] and Qiu and Fang [13] but also improve a very recent result of the present author [1].

  • In this paper, we study the uniqueness problems on entire functions sharing one value. We improve and generalize some previous results of Zhang and Lin [11]. On the one hand, we consider the case for some more general differential polynomials $[f^nP(f)]^{(k)}$ where $P({\omega})$ is a polynomial; on the other hand, we relax the nature of sharing value from CM to IM.

  • We prove a uniqueness theorem of entire functions sharing an entire function of smaller order with their linear differential polynomials. The results in this paper improve the corresponding results given by Gundersen-Yang[4], Chang-Zhu[3], and others. Some examples are provided to show that the results in this paper are best possible.

  • In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for three-point boundary value problem of nonlinear fractional q-difference equation. Some existence and uniqueness results are obtained by applying some standard fixed point theorems. As applications, two examples are presented to illustrate the main results.

  • The aim of this paper is to develop a monotone iterative technique by introducing upper and lower solutions to Riemann-Liouville fractional differential equations with deviating arguments and integral boundary conditions. As an application of this technique, existence and uniqueness results are obtained.

  • The purpose of the paper is to study the uniqueness problems of certain type of difference polynomials sharing a small function. With the concept of weakly weighted sharing and relaxed weighted sharing we obtain some results which extend and generalize some results due to P. Sahoo and G. Biswas [Tamkang Journal of Mathematics, 49(2)(2018), 85-97].
