  • We introduce new concepts of fuzzy $\gamma$-preopen($\gamma$-preclosed) sets and fuzzy $\gamma$-precontinuous($\gamma$-preopen, $\gamma$-preclosed) maps as generalizations of the concepts of fuzzy preopen and fuzzy precontinuous of Shahna [7].

  • We introduce the concept of a 'fuzzy' map between sets by modifying the concept of the extension principle introduced by Dubois and Prade in [1] and study their properties. Using these we generalize Goguen's and Zadeh's extension principles in [2] and [3].

  • This paper describes a new method of Genetic Algorithms for Adaptive Fuzzy Control System. Previous works using a Multi-population Genetic Algorithm have divided chromosome into two components, rule sets and membership functions. However, in this case bad rule sets disturb optimization in good rule sets and membership functions. A new method for a Multi population Genetic Algorithm suggests three components, good rule sets, bad rule sets, and membership functions. To show the effectiveness of this method, fuzzy controller is applied to a Truck Backing Problem. Results of the computer simulation show good adaptation of the proposed method.

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce and investigate the concept of fuzzy almost r-minimal continuous function between fuzzy minimal spaces and fuzzy topological spaces. Particularly, we investigate characterizations for the fuzzy almost r-minimal continuity by using generalized fuzzy r-open sets.

  • We apply the concept of interval-valued fuzzy sets to theory of semigroups. We give some properties of interval-valued fuzzy ideals and interval-valued fuzzy bi-ideals, and characterize which is left [right] simple, left [right] duo and a semilattice of left [right] simple semigroups or another type of semigroups in terms of interval-valued fuzzy ideals and intervalvalued fuzzy bi-ideals.

  • The concept of a intuitionistic fuzzy topology (IFT) was introduced by Coker 1997. The concept of a fuzzy retract was introduced by Rodabaugh in 1981. The aim of this paper is to introduce a new concepts of fuzzy continuity and fuzzy retracts in an intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces and establish some of their properties. Also, the relations between these new concepts are discussed.

  • We introduce a fuzzy g-closure operator induced by a fuzzy topological space in view of the definition of Sostak [13]. We show that it is a fuzzy closure operator. Furthermore, it induces a fuzzy topology which is finer than a given fuzzy topology. We investigate some properties of fuzzy g-closure operators.
