Barriers to E-Commerce Business Model in Cambodia and The Suggestion: A Case Study

  • Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has seen as the potential to improve profitability and productivity in many areas as well as gaining notable attention in many countries. Despite, there has been some uncertainty about the e-commerce impacts for developing countries. The sufficient basic infrastructural deficiency, socio-political, economic and the lack of government public ICT policies have formed the significant barriers to the adoption and e-commerce growth in developing countries. Even though there are many researchers have found the common barriers to e-commerce in the developing nations, all business models targeting those countries are not equally successful. Small companies' persistence failed to challenge the e-commerce barriers in Cambodia because the firms didn't know the correct business model to succeed in this country online market. Therefore, this study will discuss the existing barriers which lead to limit e-commerce growth in Cambodia and the suggested solutions with the suitable business model for the e-commerce business in the country too.

YOLO 네트워크를 활용한 전이학습 기반 객체 탐지 알고리즘 (Transfer Learning-based Object Detection Algorithm Using YOLO Network)

  • 딥 러닝 기반 객체 탐지 및 영상처리 분야에서 모델의 인식률과 정확도를 보장하기 위해 다량의 데이터 확보는 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 학습데이터가 적은 경우에도 인공지능 모델의 높은 성능을 도출하기 위해 전이학습 기반 객체탐지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 객체탐지를 위해 사전 학습된 Resnet-50 네트워크와 YOLO(You Only Look Once) 네트워크를 결합한 전이학습 네트워크를 구성하였다. 구성된 전이학습 네트워크는 Leeds Sports Pose 데이터셋의 일부를 활용하여 이미지에서 가장 넓은 영역을 차지하고 있는 사람을 탐지하는 네트워크로 학습을 진행하였다. 실험결과는 탐지율 84%, 탐지 정확도 97%를 기록하였다.

  • 이미지 인식 및 영상처리, 컴퓨터 비전 등의 분야에서 합성곱 인공신경망 (Convolutional Neural Network, CNN)은 다양하게 응용되고 탁월한 성능을 내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CNN을 활용한 이미지 인식 시스템에서 인식률을 저하시키는 요인 중 하나인 이미지의 회전에 대한 해결책으로써 CNN 기반 이미지 회전 보정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 Leeds Sports Pose 데이터셋을 활용하여 이미지를 임의의 각도만큼 회전시킨 학습데이터로 인공지능 모델을 학습시켜 출력으로 회전된 각도를 추정하도록 실험을 진행하였다. 학습된 인공지능 모델을 100장의 테스트 데이터 이미지로 실험하여 mean absolute error (MAE) 성능지표를 기준으로 4.5951의 값을 얻었다.

  • 관광산업은 주 5일 근무제 시행 이후 여가시간이 증가함에 따라 양질의 성장을 보이고 있다. 관광산업은 전자 통신의 발달에 힘입어 다양한 형태의 문화와 결합하여 21세기 고부가가치 산업으로 각광받고 있다. 특히 삼면이 바다인 우리나라는 국민소득이 증가함에 따라 해양레저산업에 더욱 관심을 갖고 있다. 해양수산부는 막대한 정책지원을 통해 해양관광진흥계획을 수행하고 있으며, 어촌지역에 문화를 융합하여 타 지역 관광객 유치를 위해 노력하고 있다. 본 연구를 통한 콘텐츠를 활용하여 정책자금이 동원되는 활동을 바르게 모니터링하고, 고부가가치 관광 산업을 육성하기 위한 유용한 콘텐츠 활용 전략을 제시하였다.

Implementation of Badminton Motion Analysis and Training System based on IoT Sensors

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented IoT sensors based badminton motion analysis and training system that can be readily used by badminton players with PC. Unlike the traditional badminton training system which uses signals of the flags by coach, the proposed electronic training system used IoT sensors to automatically detect and analysis the motions for badminton players. The proposed badminton motion analysis and training system has the advantage with low power, because it communicates with the program through BLE communication. The badminton motion analysis system automatically measures the training time according to the player's movement, so it is possible to collect objective result data with less errors than the conventional flag signal based method by coach. In this paper, training data of 5 athletes were collected and it provides the feedback function through the visualization of each section of the training results by the players which can enable the effective training. For the weakness section of each player, the coach and the player can selectively and repeatedly perform the training function with the proposed training system. Based on this, it is possible to perform the repeated training on weakness sections and they can improve the response speed for these sections. Continuous research is expected to be able to compare more various players' agility and physical fitness.

국내 아웃도어 브랜드 등산복 재킷의 기능별 디자인 특성 (The Characteristic of a Functional Design for a Commercial Outdoor-Wear Jacket)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the characteristic of a functional design for a commercial outdoor brand jacket based on 3 types of functions : windproof, waterproof, and cold proof. To analyze the design and fabric characteristics of outdoor jackets by function, 903 men's and women's outdoor jacket images were selected from the catalogues during S/S 2009 - F/W 2011 of the 6 brands: The North Face, Columbia Sports Wear, Kolon Sports, K2, Arcteryx and Mont-Bell. These brands were selected based on their high market share and brand awareness of the outdoor brands in Korea. In this study, design elements analysis was conducted as following 8 elements: hood/collar height/central front flap/waistline/pocket location/ventilation for the body part/sleeve patterns/cuff for the sleeve part. Fabrics were analyzed by the frequency of fabric types used in the 3 jacket types. According to the result derived from the analysis of the six brands of outdoor wear jacket design trends by year, detachable hood and a co-use of velcro and elastic bands have been mainly designed for all of windproof, waterproof, and cold proof jacket to all in order to respond quickly to changes in the external environment. For reinforced storage function on trekking, the number of pockets has been gradually growing, and a function was being developed to connect an electronic device to a pocket. The method, result, and collateral observations relevant to each of these phases are described. Outdoor jacket design characteristics were investigated for outdoor brands, which can provide data to suggest more accurate functional design, and satisfy functional design needs. In this regard, this research was significant in the sense that it suggested preliminary data to reconsider competitiveness of the brand products.

Acromioclavicular joint dislocation and concomitant labral lesions: a systematic review

  • Acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocations frequently co-occur with intra-articular glenohumeral pathologies. Few comprehensive studies have focused on labral tears specifically associated with AC joint trauma. This systematic review will address this gap. A comprehensive electronic search was conducted across PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar (pages 1-20) spanning from 1976 to May 19, 2023. Seven studies met the inclusion criteria for this systematic review, consisting of three retrospective studies and four case series. These studies collectively involved 1,044 patients, of whom 282 had concomitant labral lesions. The pooled prevalence of intra-articular labral injuries associated with acute AC joint dislocation was 27%. The prevalence of these labral lesions varied significantly between studies, ranging from 13.9% to 84.0% of patients, depending on the study and the grade of AC joint dislocation. Various types of labral tears were reported, with superior labrum anterior to posterior (SLAP) lesions being the most common. The prevalence of SLAP lesions ranged from 7.2% to 77.4%, with higher grades of AC joint dislocations often associated with a higher prevalence of SLAP tears. Moreover, grade V dislocations exhibited a complete correlation with SLAP tears. The studies yielded contradictory findings regarding older age and higher grades of AC joint dislocation as risk factors for concurrent labral lesions. This review underscores the frequent association between labral lesions and AC joint dislocations, particularly in cases of lower-grade injuries. Notably, SLAP lesions emerged as the predominant type of labral tear.

Consideration of Domestic Category Killers for Distribution Environment

  • The category killer that has been rapidly growing mainly in advanced countries since early 1990's, is a mew distribution model which aims for obtaining market controlling power by surpassing competing businesses in a specific area of products. The domestic situation of category killers is very different from that of advanced ones abroad since it has just been introduced into the Korean market. At the moment, there are only 10 or so companies operating in the market : Geopyung's , Taeheng's , Midopa's , of Sinsegye Department store, adn of Yerim International. The purpose of this study is to examine problems of domestic companies in the present market by analysing the operation status of category killers in domestic markets as well as foreign ones, and to suggest a counter-strategy of category killers for the distribution environment of the 21st century to improve the competitiveness of Korean distribution industry. The competitiveness of category killers lies above all in products lines. Category killers are equipped with the greatest number of products lines among those of competing businesses due to maximized product selections in an limited range. Another source of competitiveness may be found in balanced strategy positioning. That is to say, category killers are in a position where they can adjust policies towards any of the three purposes while aiming at them altogether : prices of discount stores, products range of specialty stores, and customer service level of department stores. It is also necessary for efficient store operation to use information technology such as electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic pose system(EPOS) and electronic funds transfer (EFTPOS). As for the cost structure, category killers can gain an advantage over other business since operating cost of various sections can be saved. There are, however, certain risks that category killers with strong competitiveness may influence on other businesses a great deal and even facilitate their decline. Yet it seems that the growth of category killers will be more viciously restrained by continuous challenges from other businesses. The distribution industry is supposed to develop through such competition and restraint.

전자출결 시스템의 문제점과 해결방안에 대한 연구 -사용자 인식을 중심으로- (A Study of the Problems and Solutions of Electronic Attendance System -Focused on User's Awareness-)

  • 본 연구는 IT를 활용한 학습관리시스템인 전자출결 시스템을 직접 사용하는 교수 및 대학생들의 전자출결 시스템의 인식과 현황을 조사하고, 전자출결 시스템의 효율성을 높이기 위한 개선방안을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 1차 5명의 교수자의 심층 인터뷰를 통한 스마트출결 시스템의 인식과 요구사항을 조사하였으며, 2차는 S대학 264명의 대학생 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하여 스마트출결 시스템 이용현황 및 인식조사를 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 교수자는 전자출결 시스템에 대하여 대부분 만족하며, 학습관리시스템과 연계하여 학습역량 및 자기관리 기능 개선이 필요하며, 둘째, 대학생들은 전자출결 시스템의 유저인터페이스와 속도에 불만족하는 것으로 지연시간, 로그인, 업데이트, 부정출석의 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 그에 대한 개선방안으로 지문 및 안면인식을 활용한 로그인의 간편화, 블루투스의 세기와 인증번호를 이용하여 부정출석 방지를 통한 전자출결 관리시스템 기능의 개선을 제시했다는 의의가 있다.

평생 교육적 여가스포츠를 통한 디지털 시대의 신노인상 정립 (Establishment of the Digital Era Elderly by Lifelong Educational Leisure Sports)

  • 우리나라는 지금 고령사회의 도전에 직면해 있다. 젊은 경제활동인구가 감소하고 노인인구가 크게 증가하는 고령사회에서는 전대미문의 노인문제가 제기된다. 노인 인구가 급작스럽고도 빨리 증가하는 사회는 고령화의 쇼크, 고령화 사회의 지진 등으로 불리는 미래사회의 위기를 경고하고 있다. 한국의 노인들은 여러 사회적인 요인으로 인해 제대로 교육을 받지 못한 집단으로 어느 구성원 보다 평생교육이 필요한 집단이며 노인들은 평생교육의 주요 대상자로 부각되고 있다. 현대사회는 문화수준의 향상과 함께 삶이 윤택해지고 삶에 대한 개인적인 욕구가 높아지면서 여가생활의 필연성이 강조되고 있고, 여가스포츠를 통해 단순히 스트레스만을 해소하기 보다는 그것을 통해 교육의 기회를 제공받고자 한다. 또한 노인 여가스포츠 활동은 21세기에 요구되는 노인상, 즉 주체적인 노인, 생산적인 노인, 봉사하는 노인, 정보화된 노인, 통합적인 노인으로 노인의 정체성을 확립하기 위한 중요한 수단이 되어야 하고 여가스포츠를 체계적으로 제공하는 전문 여가스포츠 프로그램이 평생 교육적 차원에서 이루어져야 할 것이다. 그러므로 노인의 평생 교육적 차원으로써 여가스포츠는 건강증진과 사회성 함양, 그리고 자아실현과 함께 노인의 삶의 질을 향상시키는데 큰 의미가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 21세기가 요구하는 자립적인 생활을 영위하며 남에게 의존하지 않고 당당하게 독립적으로 살아가는 디지털 시대의 성공적인 신(新)노인상을 정립 하는데 큰 의미가 있을 것이다.
