Let R and S be two commutative rings, J be an ideal of S and f : R → S be a ring homomorphism. The amalgamation of R and S along J with respect to f, denoted by R ⋈f J, is the special subring of R × S defined by R ⋈f J = {(a, f(a) + j) | a ∈ R, j ∈ J}. In this paper, we study some basic properties of a special kind of R ⋈f J-modules, called the amalgamation of M and N along J with respect to ��, and defined by M ⋈�� JN := {(m, ��(m) + n) | m ∈ M and n ∈ JN}, where �� : M → N is an R-module homomorphism. The new results generalize some known results on the amalgamation of rings and the duplication of a module along an ideal.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new class of rings containing the class of SFT-rings and contained in the class of rings with Noetherian prime spectrum. Let A be a commutative ring with unit and I be an ideal of A. We say that I is SFT if there exist an integer k ≥ 1 and a finitely generated ideal F ⊆ I of A such that x^k ∈ F for every x ∈ I. The ring A is said to be nonnil-SFT, if each nonnil-ideal (i.e., not contained in the nilradical of A) is SFT. We investigate the nonnil-SFT variant of some well known theorems on SFT-rings. Also we study the transfer of this property to Nagata's idealization and the amalgamation algebra along an ideal. Many examples are given. In fact, using the amalgamation construction, we give an infinite family of nonnil-SFT rings which are not SFT.

This paper establishes necessary and sufficient conditions for a bi-amalgamation to inherit the S-Noetherian property. The new results compare to previous works carried on various settings of duplications and amalgamations, and capitalize on recent results on bi-amalgamations. Our results allow us to construct new and original examples of rings satisfying the S-Noetherian property.

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. We call the ring R to be an almost weakly finite conductor if for any two elements a and b in R, there exists a positive integer n such that aⁿR ∩ bⁿR is finitely generated. In this article, we give some conditions for the trivial ring extensions and the amalgamated algebras to be almost weakly finite conductor rings. We investigate the transfer of these properties to trivial ring extensions and amalgamation of rings. Our results generate examples which enrich the current literature with new families of examples of nonfinite conductor weakly finite conductor rings.

Let R = ⊕_α∈Γ R_α be a commutative ring graded by an arbitrary torsionless monoid Γ. A homogeneous prime ideal P of R is said to be strongly homogeneous prime if aP and bR are comparable for any homogeneous elements a, b of R. We will say that R is a graded pseudo-valuation ring (gr-PVR for short) if every homogeneous prime ideal of R is strongly homogeneous prime. In this paper, we introduce and study the graded version of the pseudo-valuation rings which is a generalization of the gr-pseudo-valuation domains in the context of arbitrary Γ-graded rings (with zero-divisors). We then study the possible transfer of this property to the graded trivial ring extension and the graded amalgamation. Our goal is to provide examples of new classes of Γ-graded rings that satisfy the above mentioned property.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new class of rings containing the class of m-formally Noetherian rings and contained in the class of nonnil-SFT rings introduced and investigated by Benhissi and Dabbabi in 2023 [4]. Let A be a commutative ring with a unit. The ring A is said to be nonnil-m-formally Noetherian, where m ≥ 1 is an integer, if for each increasing sequence of nonnil ideals (I_n)_n≥0 of A the (increasing) sequence (∑_i1+⋯+im=nI_i1I_i2⋯I_im)_n≥0 is stationnary. We investigate the nonnil-m-formally Noetherian variant of some well known theorems on Noetherian and m-formally Noetherian rings. Also we study the transfer of this property to the trivial extension and the amalgamation algebra along an ideal. Among other results, it is shown that A is a nonnil-m-formally Noetherian ring if and only if the m-power of each nonnil radical ideal is finitely generated. Also, we prove that a flat overring of a nonnil-m-formally Noetherian ring is a nonnil-m-formally Noetherian. In addition, several characterizations are given. We establish some other results concerning m-formally Noetherian rings.

Let A be a ring and 𝓙 = {ideals I of A | J(I) = I}. The Krull dimension of A, written dim A, is the sup of the lengths of chains of prime ideals of A; whereas the dimension of the maximal spectrum, denoted by dim _𝓙A, is the sup of the lengths of chains of prime ideals from 𝓙. Then dim _𝓙A ≤ dim A. In this paper, we will study the dimension of the maximal spectrum of some constructions of rings and we will be interested in the transfer of the property J-Noetherian to ring extensions.

Bennis and El Hajoui have defined a (commutative unital) ring R to be S-coherent if each finitely generated ideal of R is a S-finitely presented R-module. Any coherent ring is an S-coherent ring. Several examples of S-coherent rings that are not coherent rings are obtained as byproducts of our study of the transfer of the S-coherent property to trivial ring extensions and amalgamated duplications.

In this paper, we introduce a weak version of coherent that we call regular coherent property. A ring is called regular coherent, if every finitely generated regular ideal is finitely presented. We investigate the stability of this property under localization and homomorphic image, and its transfer to various contexts of constructions such as trivial ring extensions, pullbacks and amalgamated. Our results generate examples which enrich the current literature with new and original families of rings that satisfy this property.

한성백제박물관에서는 백제 한성기 대표적인 왕실과 중앙세력의 분묘군으로 알려진 사적 제243호 석촌동 고분군의 학술 발굴조사를 실시하고 있으며, 그 과정에서 출토된 금제이식의 과학적 분석 및 보존처리를 실시하였다. 분석은 실체현미경 관찰, SEM, X-선 촬영, CT, XRF 분석을 실시하였고, 이를 통해 유물 특성, 내부 구조와 성분 등을 확인하고 제작 기법을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 금동이식의 주환은 동심재에 수은 아말감 금도금하였고, 중간식의 육면체는 금 분말을 용융시켜 소환을 이어 붙였으며 수하식 구체는 반구체 두 개를 땜하여 붙인 것을 확인하였다. 세환이식 2건은 표면 성분이 서로 유사하지만 동심재에 금판을 감싸 제작한 것과 금봉을 구부려 제작한 것으로 제작기법에 차이가 있음을 밝혔다. 금 함량은 유물에 따라, 측정 위치에 따라 다르지만 약 19~21K로 비교적 높은 금 함량을 보이며 정교한 공예기술로 만들어진 이식이라는 점에서 피장자의 우월적 지위와 석촌동 고분군의 위상을 판단할 수 있는 자료가 될 것으로 보인다.
