The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting infection control practice by dental hygienist students in Jeju during clinical training amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Online survey was conducted on 112 students and the results were statistically analyzed with frequency analysis, Student's T-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis using SPSS 20.0. In the 'awareness and practice of infection control by year in college' section, 2nd year students scored significantly higher in 'cleaning and surface disinfection,' 'medical waste disposal,' and 'COVID-19 preventive measure' compared to 3rd year students. In the 'type of training institution' section, hospital setting scored significantly higher in 'cleaning and surface disinfection,' 'instrument disinfection and sterilization,' 'personal and patient protection,' and 'COVID-19 preventive measure' compared to dental clinic setting. In the 'location of institution' section, Seoul metropolitan region scored higher in 'medical waste disposal' compared to Jeju region. According to regression analysis, year in college (2nd year), type of training institution (hospital setting), location of training institution (Seoul metropolitan region), and difficulty using protective gear (no difficulty) were associated with better COVID-19 preventive measure This first study in Jeju provides an insight on the awareness and practice of infection control measures by dental hygienist students in Jeju during clinical training. Further investigation for improvement of clinical training manual is warranted.

The three dimensional images and moving picture made it possible for the general people as well as the specialists to observe and obtain informations with regard to the human body. Especially, the authors realized a framework for visualizing the human bodies in three dimensional images, via which a detailed and realistic architecture for the human body and its organs can be obtained. The system developed in this paper can be used in the practice and education of the people engaged in medical fields.

Objectives: In recently. the management and protection on individual information in patient's medical & nursing records have been very important, and that need a guideline. The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of using the patient's nursing records of nursing students in clinical practice, to find and discuss the patient's informed consent, and status of education and management concerned to patient's nursing records. Methods: This study used a mailing survey. data collected from September 24th to October 31th in 2002. The subject were 333 professors who are major in adult nursing, pediatric nursing, psychological nursing of 111 university of nursing department and nursing college. And then we received the survey mail from 103 professors that respondent rate was 30.9%. Results: The characteristics of study subjects showed 49.0% of university. 51.0% of college of nursing. 50.0% of the subjects practiced point the patient by oral approval in clinical practice. But when the decision of the patient was very difficult, 21.6% of the subjects take to informed consent from his or her families. During the clinical practice, 49.0% of the subjects were explain to patient about clinical practice and contents of the nursing student, only 7.8% of the subjects were explain to patient with nursing records. 52.0% of the subjects were took out records from the hospital, only 17.6% of the subjects had standard of the patient's informed consent and standard of handling practice records. 17.6%-92.2% of the subjects that educate and manage concern to patient's nursing records.
On October 31, 2023, the revision of the Medical Technologist Act made it mandatory to complete field training courses in order to obtain a license as a radiologic technologist. Therefore, we would like to survey the actual situation of field training in medical institutions to inform the revised Medical Technologist Act and propose improvement measures to increase the effectiveness of field training. A survey was conducted from March to April, 2023, among radiologic technologists working in medical institutions. The questionnaire was sent through a form on a domestic portal site, Company N, and 120 respondents completed it. Eighty-two respondents, or 68.3 percent, had experience in educating on-the-job training students. 58% of the respondents were aware of the fact that the amendment to the Act on Medical Technologist etc. made field training mandatory to obtain a radiologic technologist license. In accordance with Article 9 of the Medical Technologist Act, which prohibits unlicensed persons from practicing, 50% of the respondents were aware that those who are in training to complete an education course equivalent to the license they are seeking to obtain at a university or other institution are allowed to practice as medical Technologists. When asked what is currently taught during fieldwork, 6% of respondents said that they are required to perform radiation-generating activities in addition to observing, guiding patients, and positioning and moving patients. When asked about the future direction of education as fieldwork becomes mandatory for licensure, 77% of respondents said that they will teach more than they currently do. When asked about the appropriate total length of fieldwork, 35% said 12 weeks and 480 hours, 33% said 8 weeks and 320 hours, and 27% said 16 weeks and 640 hours. It can be seen that the current on-the-job training is inadequate according to various regulations, and students' satisfaction is low. However, with the revision of the Act on Medical Technologists, field training has become mandatory to obtain a license as a radiologist, and it is necessary to improve the educational conditions of field training. Therefore, it is necessary to comply with the Nuclear Safety Act and the Rules on the Safety Management of Diagnostic Radiation Generating Devices, introduce standardized training objectives and evaluation systems, designate training hospitals and radiologists in charge of training, and introduce extended training periods and simulation exercises to internalize field training.
In this study, a model in which certification standards were added to the health information management practice program was studied and presented in order to understand the EMR certification standards implemented by the Korea Health and Medical Information Service. In the practice program, the certification standard function for patient information management was added to the health information management education system to practice and understand patient information management that corresponds to the functional standard of the EMR certification system. The EMR certification standard practice program for patient information management is composed of the following certification standards. registration number and personal information management, treatment reservation schedule management, personal information revision history management, identification of people with the same name, integrated management of multiple registration numbers, patient search by identification information, patient search by health care type, surgical procedure consent record and inquiry, record/inquiry of consent form for personal information use, display of life-sustaining medical decision information, registration/inquiry of external medical institution documents, registration and inquiry of external examination results. In this way, by operating and practicing the functions of the health information system according to the certification standards, it is possible to understand and practice the certification standards and details of patient information management in the functional area of the certification standards. In addition, since the function of the EMR certification standard can be checked, it will be possible to improve the management ability of the electronic medical record system of the health information manager in the medical institution.

This study was performed to analyze the factors influencing satisfaction of the field practice program in Library and Information Science majors by college and university students and to investigate its effect relationship. So, we are trying to present the appropriate methods of improving the field practice program in Library and Information Science majors. We surveyed 90 college students and 80 university students of Library and Information Science across the country who participated in the field practice program in libraries and information service providers. As a result, the satisfaction level of professional leader were the highest and the satisfaction level of practice preparations were the lowest in the college and university students all. The results of multiple regression analysis between the satisfaction level and the related variables of college and university students indicated that 'major satisfaction' factors, 'interpersonal relationship' factors are the significant factors in the college students and 'major satisfaction' factors, 'private practice experience' factors are the significant factors that contribute the satisfaction level in the university students. Therefore, the intervention programs on the basis of the influencing factors such as major satisfaction, interpersonal relationship and private practice experience should be developed of improve satisfaction of the field practice in Library and Information Science students.

The study was conducted to identify the effectiveness of nursing skills practice using VR(Virtual Reality) on competency and confidence in nursing skills, learning self-efficacy, and satisfaction of nursing students. This study used a randomized controlled trial design. The 35 patients in the experimental group took nursing skills practice using VR and The 35 patients in the control group took fundamental nursing skills practice. The data were conducted on confidence in nursing skills, learning self-efficacy, satisfaction, and nursing skills' competency. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. As a result of the study, there were no significant differences between the experimental and control groups in competency and confidence in nursing skills, learning self-efficacy, and satisfaction. However, confidence in nursing skills and learning self-efficacy increased after practice in both groups. The results indicate that nursing skills practice using VR was effective in improving nursing skills.

There is a growing interest in Co-operative education as an important way of university-industry collaborations for improving employment competitiveness, recruiting talented human resource, and promoting university-industry collaborations. In this study, we recognize that the paradigm of professional practice have to be changed from internship to Co-operative education. This paper examines the characteristics of Co-operative education in a regional public university through a case study of Central Washington University(CWU), USA. The results of the study and policy implications are as follows. First, the professional practice program of CWU is centered upon Co-operative education and has a high local and regional connectivity in terms of location of institutions that students work for professional practices. Second, the professional practice program of CWU has a high connectivity between majors and jobs, and is characterized by an active participation of students majoring in humanities, social sciences, arts and education. Third, the qualifications of Co-operative education are strict, but programs of Co-operative education are flexibly operated according to the characteristics of departments and colleges. We emphasize that universities in Korea need to focus upon the employment connectivity, the major connectivity, the local and regional connectivity, Therefore, when attempting to introduce Co-operative education. In addition, the management and governance of Co-operative education should be flexible.

This study data were collected from 217 nursing students in J city to analyze major satisfaction and awareness of the importance of practice and performance of nursing students' practice at the public health center, and to identify improvement plans for the practice contents of the health center. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 25.0, and the research results showed that there was a positive correlation (r=.55, p<.001) between major satisfaction and public health center clinical practice performance, and the sub-factors of performance It showed positive correlation with all (r=.41~.54, p<.001). In particular, among the sub-factors, Internal growth through practice and Correlation with the actual application of theory were highly correlated (r=.54~.56, p<.001).
