  • The purpose of this paper is to define generalized twisted q-Bernoulli numbers by using p-adic q-integrals. Furthermore, we construct a q-analogue of the p-adic generalized twisted L-functions which interpolate generalized twisted q-Bernoulli numbers. This is the generalization of Kim's h-extension of p-adic q-L-function which was constructed in [5] and is a partial answer for the open question which was remained in [3].

  • Let $q = p^r$, where p is a prime. A polynomial $f(x) \in GF(q)[x]$ is called a permutation polynomial (PP) over GF(q) if the numbers f(a) where $a \in GF(Q)$ are a permutation of the a's. In other words, the equation f(x) = a has a unique solution in GF(q) for each $a \in GF(q)$. More generally, $f(x_1, \cdots, x_n)$ is a PP in n variables if $f(x_1,\cdots,x_n) = \alpha$ has exactly $q^{n-1}$ solutions in $GF(q)^n$ for each $\alpha \in GF(q)$. Mullen ([3], [4], [5]) has studied the concepts of local permutation polynomials (LPP's) over finite fields. A polynomial $f(x_i, x_2, \cdots, x_n) \in GF(q)[x_i, \codts,x_n]$ is called a LPP if for each i = 1,\cdots, n, f(a_i,\cdots,x_n]$ is a PP in $x_i$ for all $a_j \in GF(q), j \neq 1$.Mullen ([3],[4]) found a set of necessary and three variables over GF(q) in order that f be a LPP. As examples, there are 12 LPP's over GF(3) in two indeterminates ; $f(x_1, x_2) = a_{10}x_1 + a_{10}x_2 + a_{00}$ where $a_{10} = 1$ or 2, $a_{01} = 1$ or x, $a_{00} = 0,1$, or 2. There are 24 LPP's over GF(3) of three indeterminates ; $F(x_1, x_2, x_3) = ax_1 + bx_2 +cx_3 +d$ where a,b and c = 1 or 2, d = 0,1, or 2.

Effects of Dietary Coenzyme Q_{10}$ and Vitamin E on Hepatic Lipid Metabolism in Adriamycin-Treated Rat (식이 중에 첨가한 Coenzyme $Q_{10}$가 Vitamin E가 Adriamycin을 투여한 흰쥐의 간 지질대사에 미치는 영향)

  • The present study was designed to evaluate the effects of dietary coenzyme $Q_{10}$ and vitamin E on hepatic lipid metabolism changes in adriamy cin(ADR)-treated rats. ADR treatment significantly increased the plasma levels of lipid peroxide in rats. But this increase was reduced by dietary supplementation of coenzyme $Q_{10}$ or vitamin E. Catalase and glutathione peroxidase activities were not greatly changed by ADR treatment, but the activities were significantly increased by dietary coenzyme $Q_{10}$. There was a tendency of lower superoxide dismutase activity in ADR-treated rats. However, coenzyme $Q_{10}$ administration induced this enzyme activity. The contents of cholesterol and phospholipid in liver were elevated by ADR-treated. Dietary coenzyme $Q_{10}$ reduced the increased hepatic cholesterol content in ADR-treated rat.

  • The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of pretreatment with coenzyme {{{{ { Q}_{10 } }}}} on adriamycin-induced myocardial ultrastructural changes in rats. Except control group 6 treat-ments included three levels of dietary conenzyme {{{{ { Q}_{10 } }}}} (0, 0.1 or 0.5g/kg diet) and two levels of ADR(1.0 or 2.0mg/kg B.W/week) Adriamycin treatment significantly decreased growth perfo-rmance of rats. But this decrement was not modified by dietary supplementation of coenzyme{{{{ { Q}_{10 } }}}} Electron microscopic examination revealed a progression of myocardial lesions were depen-dent upon the level of ADR injection. The most frequently observed fin structural alterations in rat myocardium were mitochondrial swelling dilation of the sarcoplasmic reticulum and the appearance of a perinuclear vacuolication. But these structural changes were somewhat reduced by dietary supplementation of coenzyme {{{{ { Q}_{10 } }}}}.

  • In the present paper we define a q-extension of the Leibniz rule for q-derivatives via Weyl type q-derivative operator. Expansions and summation formulae for the generalized basic hypergeometric functions of one and more variables are deduced as the applications of the main result.

  • The aim of this work is to construct twisted q-L-series which interpolate twisted q-generalized Bernoulli numbers. By using generating function of q-Bernoulli numbers, twisted q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials are defined. Some properties of this polynomials and numbers are described. The numbers $L_{q}(1-n,\;X,\;{\xi})$ is also given explicitly.

  • In this paper we define a (p, q)-Laplace transform. By using this definition, we obtain many properties including the linearity, scaling, translation, transform of derivatives, derivative of transforms, transform of integrals and so on. Finally, we solve the differential equation using the (p, q)-Laplace transform.

  • In this paper, our central focus is upon gamma and beta q-distributions from a probabilistic viewpoint. The gamma and the beta q-distributions are characterized by investing the nature of the joint q-probability density function through the q-independence property and the q-Laplace transform.

  • We obtain q-derivatives of Srivastava's general triple q-hypergeometric series with respect to its parameters. The particular cases leading to results for three Srivastava's triple q-hypergeometric series $H_{A,q}$, $H_{B,q}$ and $H_{C,q}$ are also considered.
