The purpose of this paper is to develop a new classification method for predicting consumer choice based on genetic algorithm, and to validate its prediction power over existing methods. To serve this purpose, we propose a hybrid model, and discuss its methodological characteristics in comparison with other existing classification methods. Also, to assess the prediction power of the model, we conduct a series of experiments employing survey data of consumer choices of MP3 players. The results show that the suggested model in this paper is statistically superior to the existing methods such as logistic regression model, artificial neural network model and decision tree model in terms of prediction accuracy. The model is also shown to have an advantage of providing several strategic information of practical use for consumer choice.

The purpose of this study is to develop a Cross Impact System Alternatives Tree(CISAT) model necessary for selecting the interdependent R&D planning system alternatives. This model modifies System Alternatives Tree(SAT) model developed by Kwon et al.. The SAT model is composed of several functions necessary for the achievement of a final goal and several subsystems for satisfying each function. In case that the relationship of technology alternatives is interdependent, this model overlooked a relative importance derived from occurrence or nonoccurrence of the technology alternatives in the future time varience. However, a complex evaluation process within the ballot system is another disadvantage of the SAT. To solve such problems, the Cross Impact Analysis(CIA) model is applied in the SAT model so as to consider the cross impact among interdependent system alternatives.

최근 많은 산업에서 아키텍처 기반경쟁이 중요한 화두로 대두되고 있다. 많은 기업이 저원가와 개발기간 단축, 대량고객화를 동시에 추구하게 됨에 따라 제품과 프로세스의 모듈화 경향은 불가피한 선택으로 보인다. 그러나 기존연구는 지금까지 아키텍처 기반경쟁의 기본적 내용만 주로 다뤄왔다. 어떤 산업의 지배적 아키텍처는 서로 다른 경쟁환경과 소속기업의 기술역량에 따라 결정된다. 이 논문에서는 아키텍처 기반경쟁의 복잡한 상호적응과정을 다루는 새로운 이론적 분석틀을 제시한다. 먼저 중국의 상용차 부문에서 나타나고 있는 모듈화 경향을 분석하고, 이를 한국 기업의 아키텍처 전략과 비교한다. 이러한 탐색적 사례연구를 기초로 우리는 시장 수요의 특성, 주요 경쟁자의 기술역량, 지배적 아키텍처를 연결하는 새로운 가설을 제시한다.

Recent market environment shows a new relationship between customer and company. You can easily observe customers take initiatives to get involved in the marketing activities such as product development, pricing and distribution etc. Despite the fact there are a lot of marketing activities initiated by customers in the online travel market, customer participation has been given little attention in the academic literature. Our research is grounded in the well-known commitment-trust theory of relationship marketing, originally proposed by Morgan and Hunt(1994). According to the theory, trust is central to successful relationship marketing. This study explores the effect of trust on customer participation in the online travel market. Consequently, this study suggests some managerial implications for marketing strategies in response to customer initiative in the marketing activities on the online travel market.

Over the last three decades, there are many researches focusing on the practice and theory of RM in airlines. Most of them have dealt with a seat assignment problem for maximizing the total revenue. In this study, we focus on a seat assignment problem in airlines. The seat assignment problem can be modeled as a stochastic programming model which is difficulty to solve optimally. However, with some assumptions on the demand distribution functions and a linear approximation technique, we can transform the complex stochastic programming model to a Linear Programming model. Some computational experiments are performed to evaluate out model with randomly generated data. They show that our model has a good performance comparing to existing models, and can be considered as a basis for further studies on improving existing seat assignment models.

본 논문은 마코위츠의 포트폴리오 선정 이론을 한국 주식 시장에 실제 적용할 경우 투자 성과를 평가해 본 실증적 연구이다. 이를 위해서 대중적으로 인기가 있었던 삼성그룹주펀드 5종 및 KOSPI지수 변화율을 마코위츠의 모형과 비교 분석하였다. 2007년 3월부터 2008년 9월까지 최근 1년 6개월의 기간에 대하여, KOSPI 지수는 0.1%로 거의 변화를 보이지 않은 반면, 삼성그룹주펀드 5종의 평균수익률은 20.54%였고, 삼성그룹주펀드를 구성하는 동일한 17개 종목으로 마코위츠의 모형에 따라 투자한 방식은 52%의 수익률을 올렸다. 수익률을 극대화하기 위하여 데이터 수집 기간 및 포트폴리오 교체 주기에 대하여 민감도 분석을 수행하였다. 결론적으로, 투자자 개인의 주관이나 감정에 의한 판단을 완전히 배제하고 객관적 데이터에 의하여 포트폴리오를 수리적으로 변경하는 마코위츠의 모형에 의한 투자 방식이, 상대적으로 우월한 시장 정보를 가지고 주관적 판단에 의해 능동적으로 포트폴리오를 변경하는 시중 펀드매니저의 운영 성과에 비해 월등하였음을 본 연구에서는 삼성그룹주펀드의 실증적 연구를 통하여 보이고 있다.

본 논문에서는 업무할당방식이 효율성에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써, BPM 업무환경에서 효율성을 증진시키기 위한 방법론을 모색한다. 이를 위해, 업무할당방식을 프로세스 실행시에 사용자를 할당하는 동적할당과 프로세스 모델링시에 결정하는 정적할당으로 구분하여 BP효율성 관점에서 상호 비교한다. 지금까지 이런 업무 할당방식이 업무효율성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구가 없었으며, 본 논문은 cycle time 척도에 대해서 이들 업무할당방식을 비교 분석한다. 이러한 비교 분석의 결과는 상용 BPM를 도입하여 운영하는 기업에게 업무효율성을 높이는 가이드라인을 제시할 수 있다.

In modern war information system development makes battlefield materialize, and combat factors can maximize combat power exhibition as that apply synchronization. Information system is the core of combat power operation under NCW(Network centric Warfare). This paper proposed a new MOE(Measure of Effectiveness) that can assess the combat power synergistic effect of information system at the theater joint fire operation in NCW environment. This methodology applied the rule of Newton's second law
$F=(m{\Delta}{\upsilon})/t{\Rightarrow}(M{\upsilon}I)/T$ ) Details factor in combat power evaluation is as following. (1) M : Network power; (2) v : Movement velocity; (3) I : Information superiority; (4) T : C2(command and control) time. We applied this methodology to the "JFOS-K(Joint Fire Operating System-Korea) in Joint Chief of Staff" in the real military affair section. -

본 연구에서는 OECD 가맹국가들을 중심으로 각국의 이동통신서비스의 확산과정에 나타난 특성을 비교분석하였다. 이 과정에서 본 연구는 특히 확산과정을 공유한 확산모형의 존재 가능성을 검토하고, 이에 따라 각국의 이동통신서비스의 확산과정을 공유된 확산과정과 개별 확산과정의 결합으로 구분하여 설명하기 위한 확산모형을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 모형을 OECD 가맹국가들의 이동통신서비스 확산과정에 적용한 결과 OECD 가맹국가들의 이동통신서비스의 확산과정은 공유된 확산과정에 의해 의미있게 설명될 수 있었다.

현대의 기업에서는 다양한 인적 자원과 비즈니스 솔루션을 이용하여 효율적인 기업 활동을 수행하기 위해 노력을 기울이고 있다. 하지만 현장에서 벌어지는 인적 자원의 능률에 대해 효율적으로 관리하고 상황에 맞게 업무를 배정하는 일은 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 RFID(Radio-Frequency Identification)를 이용하여 현장 인력에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 수집하고 이 정보를 바탕으로 업무가 원활하게 이루어 질 수 있도록 하는 시스템을 제시한다. 전체적인 시스템의 구조와 데이터 모델을 구성하고 실시간 업무 분배규칙을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 현장 작업의 효율성과 작업 배분의 공정성이 향상될 것으로 기대한다.

In this paper, we deal with a hierarchical location-allocation problem in designing the broadband convergence networks (BcN). The objective is to minimize the total cost of switch and cable while satisfying the quality of service (QoS). We formulate the problem as an integer programming model and develop the Tabu Search (TS) heuristic algorithm to find a good feasible solution within a reasonable time limit. Initial solution is obtained by using the tree structure. Three neighborhood generation mechanisms are used by local search heuristic: insertion, switch up, and switch down. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, we generate lower bounds from nonlinear QoS relaxation problem. We present promising computational results of the proposed solution procedures.

분산된 아키텍처 구조하에서의 정보시스템 구성은 처리해야 할 정보의 양에 따라 서버의 수가 증가될 수 밖에 없으며, 다수의 하드웨어와 운영체제 그리고 다양한 소프트웨어를 운영하여야 하므로 운영 및 관리의 리스크와 비용은 급격히 증가하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 그동안 도입 서버의 통합기술, 시스템 이중화 기술 등이 개발되어 적용되었으며, 수년전부터는 ITSM 프레임워크 도입되어 시스템의 운영과 관리의 효율성을 높이고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 시스템 운영관리의 핵심지표인 가동율에 영향을 미치는 장애현황을 요인별로 분석하여 ITSM 프레임워크하에서 운영되는 정보시스템 운영관리 프로세스의 적용 효과를 측정하고 운영관리프로세스의 바람직한 개선 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

u-Health 관련 보건 비용의 지속적인 증가와 건강 및 사전 예방에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 온라인을 통한 상담, 정보제공, 동영상 서비스 및 e-commerce등 건강 관련 서비스 시장이 확대가 되고 있다. 특히 노령인구의 급증에 따른 국내 고령층에 대한 실버산업이 대두되고 있다. u-Health 의료산업은 원무행정 분야에 대한 초기 정보화 단계에 있으며, 대학/종합병원들의 IT예산은 급속히 증가하고 있으나, 중소형 병/의원/약국의 경우 IT 투자예산 확보에 어려움이 있다. 이를 대처하기 위해 u-Health와 Wellness를 통합 함으로서 BT, NT 및 IT 관련 기술을 활용하여 u-Fitwellness 시스템을 구축하여 Ubiquitous 네트워크를 통해 고령자를 위한 건강과 의료관련 서비스, 제품, 정보를 제공하고 개인의 삶의질을 향상시킴으로써 홈 네트워킹 기반 u-Healthcare Total Solution을 통한 융합형 서비스를 제안하고자 한다.

신제품 또는 신기술이 도입되는 시장에서는 보통 선두 진출자가 먼저 시장을 개척하고 나중에 후발 기업이 시장에 진출한다. 시장 진출자는 생산능력이 과한 경우 과투자의 위험이 존재하는 반면, 부족한 경우 잠재고객의 수요에 적절히 대응하지 못하여 고객을 유치하지 못하게 된다. 또한 신규 시장에서 선두 진출자의 광고효과는 시장 규모를 키움으로써 자신의 입지뿐 아니라 후발 주자의 몫까지 키워주는 양날의 칼과 같은 역할을 한다. 그렇다면, 선두 진출자가 취할 수 있는 최적의 생산능력 확장 정책과 광고 정책은 어떻게 결정할 수 있을까? 본 연구에서는 신제품이 도입되는 시장에서 선두 진출자가 경쟁자의 시장 진입을 예상하는 경우, 기존 시장 진출자가 취할 수 있는 생산 능력 확장 정책과 광고 수준에 대한 의사 결정모형을 수립하기 위해 Bass의 확산 모형을 확장하여 적용하였다.

This study examines the relationships between R&D investment and Market value of Firms using data of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector of Korea. In particular, this paper investigates the role of technology innovation system in the impact of R&D investment on firm's Market value of Firms. Findings from the previous studies on the relationship between R&D investment and Market value of Firms are positive relationship. Main of the previous studies demonstrated a positive impact of R&D investment on Market value of Firms. On the other hand, some recent studies showed this is not the case. Those studies persisted that the technological innovation system for managing and efficiently utilizing R&D investment and capability has to be built in order for R&D investment to give rise to increases in Market value of Firms. According to the Oslo manual by OECD, it is assumed that a technology innovation system can becharacterized as three factors :capability for technological innovation, capability for technology commercialization, capability for technological innovation management. This study divides sample firms into two groups using the "Inno-Biz" certificate system of the Korean Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA): Inno-Biz firms Vs. Not Inno-Biz firms. The system selects innovative SMEs denoted as "Inno-Biz" using the above factors as criteria. The results revealed that the technology innovation system has the moderating effect to R&D investment on Market value of Firms.

In this paper, we propose a new framework for identifying emerging technologies to in mobile telecommunication industry. We designed a new framework using qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Finally, we deduced emerging technologies using our framework for mobile network operator.

Game theory is adapted to a variety of domains such as economics, biology, engineering, political science, computer science, and philosophy in order to analyze economic behaviors. This research is an application of game theory to wireless communication. In particular, in terms of bargaining game we dealt with a multimedia resource allocation algorithm in wireless communication, which is rapidly spreading such as Wibro, WCDML, IPTV, etc. The algorithm is assumed to allocate multimedia resources to users who can choose and access differentiated media services. For this purpose, a utility function of users is devised to reflect quality of service (QoS) and price. We illustrated experimental results with synthesis data which were made to mimic real multimedia data, and analyzed differentiated service providing and the effect of the utility function.

Consumers earn a number of points for every purchase and then they can exchange a specified number of points for a desired reward in a typical loyalty program. The immediate payoff of their effort given as points is not the real reward they actually care about. It is merely an instrument (or medium) which has no value in itself. In a real world, consumers frequently choose the option with a bigger medium even though the economic value of the option is not changed by the medium. We call it 'medium effect'. In this study we explored if the size of medium affects on consumers' preferences. For this we controlled the reward options with three types of medium (small, medium, big) and measured the magnitude of preference difference among the three types of reward options. In addition, we manipulated comparability of reward options with wine and gas discount coupon. We confirmed that choosing one of two wines was easier than that of the two gas coupons. 164 respondents were allocated into three experimental groups and one control group. In three experimental groups, the ratios of the focused reward option's medium to the compared reward option's medium were different. For example, the focused reward option has 10 million points whereas the compared reward option has 10 million points for 1 million won purchase amount in the first group. Then each respondent was asked to choose one of two loyalty programs (focused program vs. compared program) in two different conditions (comparability between reward options: easiness vs. difficulty). To compare the medium effects among the experiment conditions we used chi-squares tests. The empirical results show the medium effect increases and then decreases as the ratio of reward mileages/points to purchase amount increases. Additionally, they let us know that comparability of alternatives affects on the medium effects depending on the ratio of reward mileages/points to purchase amount.

This paper presents an evolutionary algorithm for goal programming with preemptive priority. To do this, an evolutionary strategy is suggested which search for the solution satisfying the goals in the order of the priority. Two-sided assembly line balancing problems with multiple goals are used to validate the applicability of the algorithm. In the problems, three goals are considered in the following priority order: minimizing the number of mated-stations, achieving the goal level of workload smoothness, and maximizing the work relatedness. The proper evolutionary components such as encoding and decoding method, evaluation scheme, and genetic operators, which are specific to the problem being solved, are designed in order to improve the algorithm's performance. The computational result is reported.

본 논문에서는 현재 국내의 디지털 음악 콘텐츠 산업에서 이슈가 되고 있는 정액제와 수익배분 비율 문제를 중심으로 수리적 모형을 사용하여 분석하였다. 특히 국내의 현황을 반영하여 음원권리자와 이동통신사의 문제에 더욱 초점을 맞추었다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이동통신사와 음원권리자 사이에서는 정액제를 선택하든 종량제를 선택하든 중요하지 않을 수 있다는 것이다. 중요한 것은 음원권리자가 수익배분비율을 그리고 이동통신사가 음원판매소매가격을 자율적으로 결정할 수 있어야 한다는 것이고 두 게임참여자가 서로 이익을 얻을 수 있는 수익배분방법과 비율이 존재한다는 점이다. 둘째, 정액제는 오히려 소비자와 이동통신사간의 관계에 영향을 미치게 되는데 이동통신사에게는 유리하고 소비자에게는 불리하게 된다는 것이다. 특히, 이동통신사와 음원권리자가 수직적으로 통합되어 경쟁하는 시장구조하에서는 소비자에게 불리한 경향이 더욱 심화되므로 정액제 보다는 종량제 가격의 하락을 통해서 온라인 음악 시장의 성장을 유도하는 것이 소비자에게 유리하게 된다. 이와 같은 온라인 음악시장의 성장은 중장기적으로 사업자들에게도 도움이 될 것이다.

This study reveals how corporate CRM activities can influence organizational performance by integrating CRM process with customer equity drivers, which have been regarded as independent research areas. The results show that the customer equity drivers including value, brand, and relationship equity mediate between CRM processes and organizational performance. In more detail, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion have positive relationships with brand, relationship, and value equity, respectively. Moreover, even though all customer equity drivers influence organizational performance positively, our analysis suggests that relationship equity has the strongest effect on it.

We consider the Inventory Routing problem(IRP) for the vending machine operating system. An artificial immune system(AIS) is introduced to solve the IRP. The IPR is an rolling wave planning. The previous solution of IRP is one of good initial solution of current IRP. We introduce an Artificial Immune system with memory cell (AISM) which store previous solution in memory cell and use an initial solution for current problem. Experiment results shows that AISM reduced calculations time in relatively less demand uncertainty.

많은 인터넷 상점들이 다양한 사용자 편의 기능을 제공하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 그러한 편의 기능을 평가하기 위한 새로운 분석 기법을 제시하다. 제시된 기법은 에이전트 기반 모형과 메타 휴리스틱인 evolution strategy를 이용하여 고개들의 행태를 모형화하고 최적화한 후 여러가지 다양한 사용자 편의 기능을 평가해 본다. 이때 평가의 초점은 개인화된 추천 페이지에 두고 이를 인기상품 추천, 카테고리 정렬 등 여러 가지 다른 기능들과 비교해 본다. 이를 위해 가상 인터넷 상점이 구현 되며 데이터셋을 활용하여 시뮬레이션 실험 및 분석이 수행된다. 분석 결과 개인화된 서비스 기능들이 항상 고객들의 쇼핑 효율 및 효과를 항상 높여주지는 않는 것으로 나타났다.

Consider a supply chain where products are produced at a manufacturing system, shipped to a distribution center, and then supplied to customers. The distribution center controls inventory based on a base-stock policy, and whenever a unit of product is demanded by a customer, an order is released to the production system. Unsatisfied demand is backordered, and the inventory and backordered units are a function of the base-stock level. The manufacturing system is modeled as an M/M/s/c queueing system, and orders exceeding the limited buffer capacity are blocked and lost. The throughput of the manufacturing system and the steady state distribution of the outstanding orders are functions of number of servers and buffers of the manufacturing system. There is a profit obtained from throughput and costs due to servers and buffers of the manufacturing system, and also costs due to inventory positions of the distribution center, and we want to maximize the total production profit minus the total cost of the supply chain by simultaneously determining the optimal number of servers and buffers of the manufacturing system and the optimal base-stock level of the distribution center. We develope two algorithms, one analytical but without guarantee of the optimal solution and one optimal but without complete analytical proofs. The problem integrates strategic problem of the manufacturing system with tactical problem of the distribution center in a supply chain.

Production Information System make it possible to check and control the information of manufacturing processes. Based on this information companies are able to act to the price strategy and marketing strategy timely. In this study we will examine developing the MES(Manufacturing Execution System) as Production Information System in the Automobile Shock Absorber Piston rod Manufacturing Process of which processes are composed of heat treatment, lathing, grooving, milling, rolling, inspection and packing processes in order to control its production information efficiently.

In this paper, we discuss the schedule problems for Korean Professional Baseball League (KPBL) and propose approaches to solve these problems by applying Integer Programming. A schedule in a sport league must satisfy lots of constraints on timing such as organizational, attractiveness, and fairness requirements. Organizational requirements cover a set of rules which have to guarantee that all the games can be scheduled according to the regulations imposed by Korean Baseball Organization (KBO). Attractiveness requirements focus on what stadium visitors, television spectators, and the clubs expect, that is, a varied, eventful, and exciting season. Fairness requirements have to guarantee that no team is handicapped or favored in comparison with the others. In addition to finding a feasible schedule that meets all the constraints, the problem addressed in this paper has the additional complexity of having the objective of minimizing the travel costs and every team has the balancing number of the games in home. We formalize the KPBL problem into an optimization problem and adopt the concept of evolution strategy to solve it. Using the method proposed, it is efficient to find better results than approaches developed before.

A spreadsheet-based linear program (LP) software, so called, the LP-Tableau is developed to aid users to learn the simplex algorithm systematically and to understand the various conditions that make the problem unusual and, in some instances, impossible to solve. The LP-Tableau has several good features over other spreadsheet-based LP software programs available. First, the data input in the LP-Tableau is very convenient especially when small-sized problems are analyzed. Further, the LP-Tableau allows for two solution methods (i.e., Big-M and Two-Phase) and displays the whole iterations in tableau format. Thus users can easily understand the principle of the algorithm step by step. Finally, the LP-Tableau visually displays various conditions of the optimal solutions that might occur in solving the LP problems.

An Ant Colony Optimization Approach for the Two Disjoint Paths Problem with Dual Link Cost StructureThe ant colony optimization (ACO) is a metaheuristic inspired by the behavior of real ants. Recently, ACO has been widely used to solve the difficult combinatorial optimization problems. In this paper, we propose an ACO algorithm to solve the two disjoint paths problem with dual link cost structure (TDPDCP). We propose a dual pheromone structure and a procedure for solution construction which is appropriate for the TDPDCP. Computational comparisons with the state-of-the-arts algorithms are also provided.

퇴직연금에서 DB(defined benefit, 확정급여형) 플랜 가입자는 은퇴 이후의 급여가 확정되는 반면, DC(defined contribution, 확정기여형) 플랜 가입자는 납입금액만 확정될 뿐미래의 급여는 보장되지 않는다. 따라서 DC 플랜 가입자는 가입기간 동안 적절한 투자전략을 통하여 연금자산이 최대로 성장할 수 있도록 노력해야 한다. 그러나 자산가격은 시장 위험에 노출되어 있기 때문에 자산배분은 퇴직시점에 접근할수록 안전자산 위주로 전환되어야 한다. 라이프사이클 자산배분모형과 라이프사이클포트폴리오는 최신의 운용기법으로 그 유용성을 인정받고 있지만, 기계적이고 직관적인 방법으로 인하여 이론적인 근거에 취약성을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 DC 플랜 가입자의 안정적인 자산관리를 위한 라이프사이클을 고려한 자산배분모형을 제시하고자 한다. 시뮬레이션 최적화 방법을 활용한 자산배분의 경우, 채권의 비중은 주식의 누적수익률 열세와 변동성으로 인하여 비조건부 자산배분과 주식에 대한 최저 투자비중을 고려한 조건부 자산배분에서 우세하게 나타나고 있다. 그러나 두 자산배분모형의 성과는 장기적으로 차이를 보이다가 기간이 축소되면서 차이가 크게 줄어드는 것으로 분석되었다.

"How does advertising affect sales?" is the fundamental issue of modern advertising research. There is an interesting issue for estimating carry over effects of advertising on sales, and the aggregated data biases exist in the duration of advertising effect. This research suggests a modified model at micro-data using Koyck model (Koyck 1954) by estimated model the aggregate data, and empirically shows the aggregated data bias. Our modified model with the aggregated level of actual data is more appropriate than the base model for micro-data. The result shows that it is very important to consider the disaggregated data level in the analysis of dynamic effects of adverting such as lagged effects.

금융산업에서 고객의 이탈비율은 기대수익에 영향을 미친다는 점에서 예측이 필요한 부분이며 최근 들어 정확한 예측을 통한 비용관리가 이루어지면서 고객 이탈을 예측하는 것이 중요한 문제로 떠오르고 있다. 그러나 보험 고객 데이터가 대용량이고 불균형한 출력 값을 갖는 특성으로 인해 기존의 방법으로 예측 모델을 만드는 것이 적합하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 대용량 데이터를 처리하는 데 효과적으로 알려져 있는 Trust-region Newton method를 적용한 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 이탈고객을 예측하는 것을 주된 연구로 하며, 불균형한 데이터에서의 예측정확도를 높이기 위해 Oversampling, Clustering, Boosting 등을 이용하여 고객 데이터에 적합한 이탈 고객 예측 모형을 제시하고자 한다.

Knowledge management has garnered attention due to its role of maintaining competitive advantage. Creating and sharing knowledge is an essential part of managing knowledge. However, the best knowledge is underutilized because employees tend to seek knowledge through their informal networks, not reach out to other sources for obtaining the best knowledge. Prior studies on informal networks pointed out a negative influence of heavy reliance on learning through informal networks but they paid little attention to a structure of informal networks and its impacts on diffusion of knowledge. The aim of our study is to show impacts of informal network on knowledge management by employing a network structure and investigating diffusion of knowledge within it. Our study found out that performance of learning becomes lower in a highly clustered network. Creating random links such as serendipitous learning can improve performance of knowledge management. When employees rely on a knowledge management system, creating random links is not necessary. Costs of adopting knowledge affect performance of knowledge management.

산재 발생 시 산재근로자는 근로복지공단을 통해서 각종 급여를 받게 된다. 본 논문은 심사 과정과 급여지급 후에 부정수급으로 판명된 산재 청구 건을 데이터 마이닝을 통해서 분석하여 부정수급의 유형을 발견하고자 한다. 이 연구에서는 서울관내 4개 지사에서 8년 동안(2000년
$\sim$ 2007년)의 총 61,536명의 최초요양 신청을 한 산재근로자 자료를 대상으로 하였고, 종속변수에 영향을 미치는 8개의 독립변수를 선택해서 사용한다. 데이터 마이닝을 적용함에 있어서 가장 효율적인 허위 부정 탐지 모델을 만들기 위해 의사결정나무분석(Decision Tree)과 로지스틱 회귀분석(Logistic Regresion)등의 다양한 기법을 적용하여 결과를 비교분석 하고, 오분류 비용을 적용하여, 최적의 분류결정 값을 가지는 모델을 도출한다. 분석결과, 로지스틱 회귀분석이 산재보험 부정수급 유형 발견에 보다 효과적인 모델로 판명되었다. 또한 판별점(Cut-Off) 0.01로 했을 때 4개변수(요양기간, 업종형태, 의료기관, 재해발생형태)가 부정수급에 탐지하는데 영향력이 큰 변수로 선정되었다. -
KJCCS(Korean Joint Command & Control System) is a system that integrate each military tactics C4ISR into JCS(Joint Chiefs of Staff) level. It is established in major CP(Commanding Post) and provides all battlefield situation in real time by sharing that between connection troops. The objective of this study is to suggest a way for the measurement of force improvement effectiveness of KJCCS. C2 model is applied to measure force improvement effectiveness of KJCCS. This study will be also present a requirement logic for C4ISR system acquisition later.

The ocean has settled down in human mind as a territory and a leisure space from which anyone enjoys and takes a benefit under the national sovereignty, as the new era of Sea comes. In addition, because the population engaged in marine activities has rapidly increased, the number of marine accidents consequently has grown up as well. In this reason, currently it has been highlighted to devise safety measures to prevent large scale accidents or disasters on the oceans. Therefore, this thesis firstly points out issues and problems of current search and rescue operations, and secondly studies three primary factors of the search and rescue operations, which are decision of search range, decision of search asset, and decision of search duration. Finally, the thesis suggests a theoretical foundation of the search and rescue operations by applying the result of studies and the marine search theory through a theoretical approach to reasonable standards.

In recent warfare, importance of counter-fire is increased. New weapon system and counter-fire have critical impact on defeating of the enemy. At an initial battle counter-fire, we need to study about striking plan against the enemy mine artillery. In this paper, we studied, using MANA(agent based model), how much cannon's hit probability and UAV-based target acquisition have influence on striking the mine artillery. We constructed MANA model based on the characteristics of a regional database of Korean peninsula. If we develop detail database of the ROK Army, the proposed MANA model can be used as a war-game model for the regimental level of the Army.

Recently, necessity of VV & A is also embossed as practical use and importance of M & S are increased in National Defense. The purpose of VV&A is to assure development of correct and valid simulations and to provide simulation users with sufficient information to determine if the simulation can meet their needs. VV&A processes are performed to establish the credibility of the models and simulations. Guidance and Regulation of VV&A are insufficient actual conditions in Korea and example that apply to actuality M&S is state that is hardly. In this paper, VV&A assure its credibility of application VV&A process in Army on the basis of US Organization's application example and provide initial point of VV&A application of National Defense M&S that is developed subsequentness.

Providing recommendations is acknowledged as one of important features of a business-to-consumer online storefront. Though there have been many studies on algorithms and operational procedures of personalized recommender systems, there is still a lack of empirical evidence demonstrating relationships between social presence and two important outcome variables of recommender systems: reuse intention and trust. To test the existence of a causal link between social presence and reuse intention, and mediating role of trust between these two variables, this study performed experiments varying level of social presence while providing personalized recommendations to users based on their explicit preferences. This study also compared these effects in two different product contexts: hedonic and utilitarian product. The results show that the provision of higher social presence increases both the reuse intention and trust of the recommender systems. In addition, the influence of social presence on reuse intention in the setting of recommending utilitarian products is less than that in the setting of recommending hedonic products.

In this study, an empirical research based on survey has been performed to study the influence of user expectation to user satisfaction of commercial and open source DBMSs. According to the survey results, word-of-mouth and past experiences influence significantly to user expectation, and price influences to user expectation only for commercial DBMS users. The results show that the expectancy disconfirmation influences significantly to user satisfaction. Expectation and satisfaction levels of commercial DBMS users are higher significantly than those of open source DBMS users. However, expectancy disconfirmation of open source DBMS users is higher than that of commercial DBMS users.

본 연구에서는 방대한 양과 다양한 종류의 필드를 가지는 인력패널 데이터를 기초로 데이터마이닝 기법인 의사결정나무 추론 등의 기법을 활용하여 근로자의 직무 만족과, 조직몰입에 주요한 영향을 주는 요소를 상향식으로 도출하고, 이런 주요 요소가 근로자의 직무만족과, 조직몰입에 어떠한 관계를 가지는지 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구결과는 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용한 직무만족과, 조직몰입 모형구축을 통하여 기존연구들에서 고려하지 못한 주요 영향요인을 보완하고, 기업의 인적자원관리 및 개발 차원에서 조직의 발전과 성과향상을 기대할 수 있다.

본 논문은 연구조직의 창조성을 극대화시키고 창출된 창조지식의 공유도를 전사차원으로 확대시켜, 지속적인 창조적 혁신이 가능하도록 하는 "창조지식 경영시스템"의 개념적 설계를 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 우선, R&D활동 시 발생하는 기술적 문제의 해결뿐만 아니라, 새로운 혁신의 시즈탐색을 위한 연구조직의 창조성을 향상시키고, 그 창조지식을 획득, 처리, 공유하는 "창조경영시스템"을 설계한다. 그리고 이렇게 발현된 창조지식을 전사적으로 공유시킬 뿐만 아니라, "창조경영시스템"에 다양한 정보를 지원하는 "지식경영시스템"을 설계한 후, 이 두 시스템의 유기적 통합을 행한다.

This study is intended to develop a improved version of Cross Impact Analysis Model based on Scaling Theory. In developing the model, we applied the scale transformation technique and regression technique to existing CIA model. Improved CIA model is composed of two sub-models: 'model for impact value measurement,' and 'model for impact value conversion'. We applied a technique which measures data by ordinal scale and then transforms them into interval scale and ratio scale data to CIA model. The accuracy of forecasting and the usability of CIA application have been improved.

This study defines the Next Generation System(NGS) built by domestic financial businesses and classifies their architecture into two typical types according to the duration of the project and the relative cost of IT investment in the short term: the Big Bang approach and the Phase approach. Herein, we study the two approaches as alternatives in developing the Next Generation System, and derive the factors that are to be considered in the evaluation of the two alternatives for financial businesses. The set of standards for the choice between the two models are grouped into categories that constitute performance evaluation for IT - Cost, Performance and Risk. We drill down further into each category to second and third subordinate levels to derive detailed selection criteria. Based on the criteria drawn from the study, we conduct a survey with information system planners, IT managers and specialists at financial companies who are currently planning, developing or have completed a Next Generation System. Survey results are analyzed using the AHP methodology to compare and understand the different approach in the implementation of NGS for financial business.

This study tries to apply standard cost accounting model to evaluate the cost of workflow instances. Previous studies mainly focus on matching workflow activities into the elements of Activity based costing in order to assign cost drivers, but rarely examine how to evaluate their instance cost. In this study, we estimate unrealized standard cost from workflow model, and realized cost from accomplished instances. On running, workflow engine cumulates cost of finished activities and it enables to monitor the difference between the target cost and the actual cost dynamically at each step of workflow processes. We implemented a prototype which shows that the proposed work can evaluate effectively the cost of various workflow patterns.

Purpose. Electronic intermediaries (e-intermediaries) are gaining significance in international marketing with the rapid development of e-commerce. The goal of this study is to explain empirically what leads to a higher use of this relatively new exportation alternative. Relying on a resource-based view as our research foundation, we focus on information technology (IT) and non-IT factors as possible determinants. Further, this study brings arguments offered by transaction cost theorists to explain the other non-IT determinants. Methodology/Approach. Data are collected from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the electronic industry in Korea and the U.S to ensure generalizability. Ordinary least square (OLS) regression is utilized to analyze the data. Findings. This study raises new issues regarding a relatively new type of exporting channel, e-intermediary. Exporting is regarded as the most appropriate strategy for SMEs in international commerce. A number of SMEs stay away from exporting due to limited resources or lack of knowledge regarding foreign markets. The findings in this study should help SMEs use e-intermediaries more widely by developing appropriate IT-related resources (IT-related human and relationship assets) and dealing with non-IT factors (international competence, environmental uncertainty, and duration of relationship) effectively. Originality/Value/Contribution. This study illustrates the significant role of e-intermediaries, which may help SMEs to penetrate the global market effectively. Finding relevant sources in the global e-marketplace is a challenge for non-experienced users like SMEs. This study proposes e-intermediaries as an effective alternative for them. Another contribution of this study is to show how the use of indirect exporting channels, e-intermediaries, decrease costs in exporting transactions. This study suggests an e-intermediary as a hybrid exporting channel to balance risk and profit.

An informatization is recognized as core factors to reinforce business competitiveness such as formation of a new business relation, prior occupation of the strategic superiority and being a step ahead from the purpose to improve only the whole efficiency of enterprise. But existed evaluation framework has focused on the visible aspect of all the conditions to create the input and output. In previous studies, it's hard to know that how IT affect business value creation. Therefore, this study presents the evaluation of IT structure and IT competency as drivers and inhibitors of informatization and suggests new IT evaluation framework which can estimate IT competency. The new IT Evaluation Framework was verified through survey with experts.

In Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), nodes could transmit packets for each other to communicate beyond their transmission range without centralized control. Unlike infrastructure-based wireless networks, due to the unique characteristics of MANETs such as open network architecture, stringent resource constraints and highly dynamic network topology, networks are vulnerable to wormhole attacks launched through colluding nodes. In this paper, we develop an wormhole detection and prevention algorithm for MANET.

국내 연구개발 활동의 다양한 구조적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 명시화된 지식인 '논문'을 중심으로 사회 네트워크 분석을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 과학기술 분야간 지식의 흐름을 네트워크 분석을 이용하여 정성적/정략적으로 분석하고 둘째, 국내 연구기관의 공동연구 현황에 대하여 공동연구 네트워크와 연구기관 중심도를 분석한다. 마지막으로 두 네트워크를 연결함으로써 다차원적인 네트워크 분석을 시도해보고, 앞으로의 기술정책의 발전방향을 모색한다.

다수고객을 서비스하기 위한 설비의 입지선정문제는 현 기업환경 하에 많은 분야에서 광범위하게 응용되고 있다. 본 논문은 경쟁사 설비가 기 입지해 있는 상황에서 시장점유율을 최대화하기 위해 정해진 수의 설비를 주어진 입지후보지에 설치하기 위한 입지선정문제를 다룬다. 고객은 도시공학 분야에서 잘 알려진 4개의 도시공간구조 이론에 근거하여 분포시키고, 고객의 수요를 최대로 충족시킬 수 있는 매장의 입지를 선정한다. 실험을 통해 각 도시 공간형태별로 상이한 고객의 분포형태와 계층별 거주지역의 밀집도가 매장의 위치에 미치는 영향을 확인한다. 또한 입지선정문제는 잘 알려진 NP-hard 문제임에 따라 합리적인 시간에 근사 최적해를 도출하기 위하여 유전자 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 기업의 입장에서 이윤을 극대화하는 최적의 설비위치를 결정할 수 있는 모델을 제시하였다.

As number of cyber traders are growing, the uses of technical analyzing indicators in trading increase as well. Parabolic SAR, which indicates changes of trend in the market, is one of the most used indicators by cyber traders. Especially when a market shows a specific trend, it is very useful. However, this indicator often gives late signals and shows less trustful ones in a stable market. This paper proposes a method that give more conservative signals by a composition of Parabolic SAR and Moving Average. The experiment will compare the earning rates of using only Parabolic SAR strategy and of using a composition strategy of Parabolic SAR and Moving Average.

인터넷의 보급에 따라 네트워크를 통한 공격에 피해가 급증하고 있다. 이러한 네트워크 침해를 막기위해 여러 연구자들은 침입탐지 시스템(IDS)을 제안하였으나, 시스템의 탐지율에만 초점을 맞추고 있기 때문에 실시간(Realtime)으로 동작하지 못하고 있다. 실시간 IDS를 위하여 최근 다양한 특징선택(Feature selection)들이 제안되고 있다. 본1) 논문에서는 특징들을 중요도의 순위를 정하는 새로운 랭킹 방법과 이 방법에 따라서 특징을 선택하는 특징 선택 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 제안된 알고리즘을 통하여 선택된 특징을 사용할 경우 탐지결과가 우수함을 실험으로 보여주고 있다.

This research verifies the phenomenon of which the Momentum and Reversal effect of stock price would depend on the subject of investment in the point of view of the Behavior Finance hypothesis. For the experiment, this paper uses the KOSPI200 daily data and Net Investment Flow from Jan. 1999 to Dec. 2006. And we analyze the marginal profit and loss with foreigners, individual investors, and institutions. We verify the response of the subjects of investment based on the CAR for 3 days after more than 3 percent rising or drop. We also verify the response with respect to the ascending and descending trend based on the profit trend and subjects' behaviors a week before the drop.

We propose a IDS node selection scheme for intrusion detection in wireless mesh networks. The proposed scheme considers network survivability and energy consumption. To utilize wireless resources efficiently, we apply a set covering problem (SCP) to IDS nodes selection problem. Our proposed scheme also considers congested networks.
