도시철도 환경에서 지능형 감시 시스템 구축 사례 (A Case Study on Intelligent Surveillance System for Urban Transit Environment)

  • The security issue in urban transit system has been widely considered as the common matters after the fire accident at Daegu subway station. The safe urban transit system is highly demanded because of the vast number of daily passengers, and it is one of the most challenging projects. We introduced a test model for integrated security system for urban transit system and built it at a subway station to demonstrate its performance. This system consists of cameras, sensor network and central monitoring software. We described the smart camera functionality in more detail. The proposed smart camera includes the moving objects recognition module, video analytics, video encoder and server module that transmits video and audio information.

서울시 대중교통 통행자 환승패턴 분석 (Analysis of Passenger Transfer Patterns Based on Transit Smart Card Data in Seoul)

  • This study analyze the transfer patterns of passengers in Seoul based on transit smart card data that was observed in 2010. The smart card records maximum four times of transfer and reports that approximately 90% of trips were less than one transfer and the remains were more than 2 transfers. We focus on trips with more than 3 transfers to figure out the relationship between transit service and regional connectivities. The results show that the average travel time, distance, fare are 45 minutes, 18.3km, and 1,119(KW) respectively. We develope a map for investigating transfer patterns at a regional level(dong and gu). By doing this, three types of transfers are observed as: 1) trips of which origin and destination is either same or near, 2) trips with short distance, and 3) long distance trip with low transit connectivities.

경량전철 사업의 SE 적용을 위한 비용 추정 모델 연구 (A Study on the Cost Model for Implementation of SE for the Light Rail Transit Project)

  • This research aims to propose a model to estimate the appropriate SE Cost rate to the total project cost when systems engineering applied to light rail transit project. In this research an investment cost estimation model is proposed with reference to COSYSMO (Constructive System Engineering Cost Model). This model includes four input factors such as requirement numbers, interface numbers, algorithm numbers, and scenario numbers. When 2600 requirement numbers are considered on a proposal document with 350 pages in a light rail transit specification of 500 billion~trillion won scale, COSYSMO demo version estimates 42.5 billion won of SE cost (about 5% of total project cost or about 10% of E&M cost).

  • Even though the efficient public transportation system has been issued in many areas, a few practical methodology of analysis and evaluation of the transit system has been developed since applying the practical methodology faces many difficulties as a feasible solution. For example, designing the public transit transfer system needs the feasible consensus of requirement and solution among the related people and institutes, which the system engineering concept should be involved. It is necessary and confident to analyze and evaluate the public transit transfer system in term of system engineering process.

  • For efficient maintenance on urban transit infrastructure, computerized system using wireless communication system which allows to inquire necessary data and to record maintenance work on the spot in realtime is required. Also, for efficient maintenance progress on urban transit infrastructure which have geographic data, computerized system united with geographic information system that offers visual information is required. In this paper, investigations on new IT technology and on computerized system of foreign country are conducted. And development direction and model of computerized system for maintenance on urban transit infrastructure are proposed.

  • The effect of propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, ketamine HCI, xylazine HCI, and pentobarbital sodium as chemical restraint drugs on the transit time of barium sulfate through the stomach and duodenum in 24 healthy cats was investigated. In the present study, propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, and ketamine HCI did not reveal significant effect on the gastroduodenal transit time, but xylazine HCI and pentobarbital sodium pro-longed the gastroduodenal transit time markedly compared with control group. Therefore it is concluded that propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, and ketamine HCI could be selected for upper gastrointestinal radiographs. but xylazine HCI and pentobarbital sodium should be avoided.

Evaluation of Antidiarrhoeal Activity of Aerva species

  • The genus Aerva is distributed is temperate and stropical Asia and Africa. Aerva species, Aerva lanata and Aerva javanica have been used for antidiarrhoeal activity in Indian traditional medicine. A.lanata and A.javanica were screened separately for their. anti-diarrhoeal activity and their action on intestinal transit on their vacuum dried ethanolic and aqueous extracts at the dose of 800 mg/kg by standard methods. All the extracts showed significant antidairrhoeal activity and significantly reduced intestinal transit in charcoal meal test. The results illustrate that the ethanolic and aqueous extracts of A.lanata and the ethanolic and aqueous extracts of A.javanica have significant antidiarrhoeal activity and the activity may be attributed to its effect on intestinal transit. The present study supports the claim of Aerva lanata and Aerva javanica as antidiarrhoeal drugs in the Indian system of medicine.

  • ProfiBus provides real-time data communication among field devices in the EMU(Electrical Multiple Unit) and TCMS(Train Control Monitoring System). This paper presents an adapt to Train Communication Network for EMU using ProfiBus DP(Decentralized Periphery) method, which is the layer 2 DDLM (Direct Data Link Mapper) protocol of ProfiBus.

  • The train control and monitoring system(TCMS) is an on board computer system in railway vehicles performing the control, supervisory and diagnostic functions of the complete train. This system replaces a lot of hardwired relays and minimizes the necessaries vehicle wiring thus increasing the reliability of the train. In this paper, we proposed a software design technique of TCMS using CASE tool (SAO+). The TCMS functions are implemented in software easily programmed, using a functional block, graphic programming language. We applied the compressor air module to a case study.

  • With designing alignment of railway for urban rail transit, a greater attention is paid to the riding safety and the comfort of the passengers. Especially, cant transition curve, minimum curve radius are considered as very important alignment factors for the curve. For the above alignment factors, in this study, comparative studies on the design criteria of foreign rail transit are conducted. And reasonable design criteria of the alignment for urban rail transit are proposed.
