The changes in the worldwide paradigm of the sustainable development have started to be applied in the entire industry fields, and they come out as the sustainable tourism in the field of tourism. And the ecotourism has emerged as a practical method to meet the needs of the actual practice and the intellectual system for the sustainable tourism. In the type of tourists based on tourist attitude, 82.3% has the environment-friendly tourist attitude as a potential ecological tourist or an ecological tourist. In addition, there are the potentials of increase in ecological tourists as well as the revitalization of ecological tourism. First, the ecological tourists are mostly the well-educated and married professional workers at 40, housewives, and people earning a high income. Next, the potential ecological tourists are mainly the well-educated and married professional workers at 30, workers in the service industry, and middle-class citizens. Lastly, the general tourists are the students at 20 who are single, earn a low income, and has low level of education. This study presents useful data to the tourist business in terms of the development, operation and management of sustainable ecological tourism.

The structure of industry has changed from manufacturing economy to service industry economy. Especially when it comes to the standard of the countries with OECD membership, the ratio of the service industry regarding the total industry as well as the total working labor has been reaching to 70%. Considering these facts in mind, the productivity of service industry has become crucial day by day. Under this situation, this study aims to help seeking the solution to enhance the productivity by comparing and analyzing the productivity level of theme park industry in Korea with that of an advanced country. The service productivity of two companies that represent tour and leisure industry in Korea and Japan are compared and analyzed, and through this it suggests ways to improve service productivity of theme park industry in Korea.

제주특별자치도는 관광산업에 대하여 적극적으로 투자활동과 함께 관광객 유치를 위한 홍보활동을 지속하였다. 그러나, 대부분의 연구가 하드웨어 중심으로 진행되었기 때문에 제주도 관광객들의 특성을 파악하고, 관광목적지 선택속성에 따른 관광만족과 관광후 행동간의 관계를 규명한 연구들은 부족한 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 제주 관광객 특성, 관광만족, 그리고, 관광후 행동의 영향관계를 구명하여 제주 관광 정책을 수립하는 데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to explore new fisheries-related jobs in the future. The study is based on a thorough literature review and in-depth interviews with experts in the fisheries industry. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, new fisheries-related jobs that surpass the fitness rating of 90% and earn more than 3 on the prospect scale are expected to be found mostly in professional fishery sectors. In the production and processing sectors, fishery quality control manager, marine product cooks, and raw fish cooks looked most promising. In the fishery marketing and distribution section, on the other hand, marine tour consultants, marine product distribution consultants, underwater guides, online marine product traders, marine sports consultants, and marine safety specialists ranked high on the list.

Purpose of this study is to classify the main industrial function by region using the factor analysis. Identified regions, Yesan-Kun area consisted of 12 Myon(towns) selected as a case study, would be conducive to establishing rural town planning reflecting their industrial characteristics. Major findings are summarized as follows. First, population of Yesan-Kun has been decreased at about 1.0% annually for the period 1970~1990, which may not meet the basic condition of sustainable regional growth. Second, economy of Yesan area, which mainly has been dependent upon the agriculture, are lagged behind because of lack of specialized manufacturing sector. Third, particularly West and East part of the region has been underdeveloped in spite of their potentiality mainly due to insufficient network of road. Based on fator analysis which classify the zones by the characteristics of industry, following developmental directions are suggested. - Yesan-Eup with a factor score of 2.85 in secondary and tertiary industry, which means functioning as a rural center should be developed to provide the residential people with basic service. - Ducksan-Myon with 2.93 factor score in tour industry is recommended to formulate leisure complex by utilizing its abundant tour resources. - Sapkyo-Eup, Goduck-Myon, Sinam-Myon, Oga-Myon Areas functioning as agricultural industry, are suggested to foster as zones specialized for the cultivation of crops and fruits. - Kwangsi-Myon and Bongsan-Myon neighboring other counties is likely to be affected by other regions' economy. These regions should be developed in association with other regions' economic circumstances. - Daeheung-Myon, Daesool-Myon and Sinyang-Myon areas, which are located southern part of Yesan County, is examined to be relatively underdeveloped area. So there are needs to make a special planning for the balanced growth of these regions.

본 연구는 생태관광이 발달한 국가 중 뉴질랜드를 대상으로 생태관광의 효과에 대하여 파악하고, 이를 기초로 한국의 생태관광에 대한 정책적 시사점을 찾는 것이다. 이러한 목적에 따라 먼저, 생태관광의 개념과 효과에 대한 이론적 연구를 바탕으로 뉴질랜드 전역과 사례지역을 대상으로 생태관광의 효과를 환경보전적 효과, 지역경제적 효과, 교육적 효과로 각각 구분하여 고찰하였다. 뉴질랜드 생태관광은 정부의 확고한 환경보전 정책과 지역주민의 주도적 참여에 의해서 환경보전적 효과와 경제적 효과뿐만 아니라 교육적 효과도 잘 나타나고 있다. 반면 한국은 민간부문에서 도입된 생태관광이 중앙정부와 지방자치단체의 개입으로 지역주민의 참여가 주도적이지 못하고 지역의 경제적 이익이 달성되기 위한 구체적 방안이 미흡하여 지역 경제적 효과에 만족스럽지 못한 면을 보여주고 있다. 따라서 생태관광을 통하여 지역주민이 주체가 되고 정부의 지원으로 환경을 보전하면서, 지역경제적 이익과 함께 교육적 효과도 높여야 한다.

영상 기반 엔더링은 장면을 3차원 기하 모델로 구축할 필요없이 실사 영상만을 이용하여 빠른 속도로 사실감 높은 결과 영상을 렌더링 할 수 있는 기법이다. 특히, '그림 속으로의 여행(Tour into the Picture: TIP)' 기법은 3차원 배경을 매우 간단히 구축할 수 있어 널리 이용되고 있다. 그러나 기존 TIP 기법은 영상 촬영 지점을 많이 벗어나면 원거리 지형 정보 부족으로 인해 시점 이동 범위에 한계가 있다. 이점을 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 다수의 TIP 영상을 합성하여 넓은 가상환경을 구축하는 방법을 개발하였다. 제안된 방법은 먼저, 다수의 시점에서 각각 TIP 모델을 구축하고, TIP 모델을 구성하는 전경 물체와 배경 물체를 각각 보간하여 렌더링 함으로써 부드러운 네비게이션 영상을 얻었다. 본 연구는 게임, 차량용 네비게이션 등 다양한 산업 분야에 응용될 수 있다.

Purpose This study aims to propose a framework for safety in domestic walking tourism, which defines the scope and type of safety information for tourists. Also, the framework provides a systematic classification for safety information in walking tourism. As the importance of safety in walking tourism due to the frequent occurrence of crimes and unexpected accidents increases, it is necessary to provide tourists with safety information on walking courses rapidly and systematically. However, most administrators (e.g., local governments) have mainly focused on providing tour information on walking courses through Internet websites or mobile apps, overlooking the safety issue. Besides, there is a lack of understanding of safety not only in walking tourism but also in the whole tourism industry. Design/methodology/approach This study proposes the framework that covers all possible safety-related information in walking tourism. Furthermore, to validate its availability, this study analyzes eight major platforms which offer tour information to tourists by applying the framework. Findings The major findings of this study are as follows. First, all platforms considered in this study do not provide any information on tourism safety, focusing on the provision of tour information. Second, three platforms currently provide an SOS function which means post-safety information. That is, no safety information is provided to prevent safety issues in advance. Finally, despite the increase of social concerns, all platforms do not provide safety information on public order and diseases in the social disaster classification as well as environmental pollution in the natural disaster classification. The details and implications of the findings are presented.

As a basic element of Jeju landscape, Oreum offers a beautiful and aesthetic view. Considering topographical and geological research achievements, however, an effort to discover implicit value in terms of landscape characteristics and value has been ignored. This paper has investigated the characteristics and value of landscape by Oreum focusing on Jeju landscape characteristics and eco-touristic value and discussed a scheme to maximize the values. Under a theme of 'Sustainable Development' of the RIO Declaration, tour industry has recently changed its focus from eco-tourism to gee-tourism. Fortunately, Jeju Oreum has very distinctive and unique landscape with depressed crater at a crest. Nevertheless, it's very difficult to see a true aspect of Oreum from the street or over the car window. Therefore, it's urgent to begin a research on how to make advantage of and preserve Oreum landscape in order to maximize its landscape values and improve its potential as a tourist attraction. Through diverse programs such as sky leisure sports(ex: light airplane and helicopter riding, paragliding), sky watching, and mountain hiking, in particular, a possibility that Oreum can succeed as LBD(Learning by Doing)-based tour program with volcanic features needs to be examined. Besides, it's also a good idea to develop Oreum tour program or Oreum Museum as an alternative plan. Above all, however, it's most urgent to protect the existing Oreum and restore ecological and landscape beauty of Oreum through proper land use.
