의복쇼핑성향에 따른 온라인 구전 정보탐색행동에 관한 연구 (A study on online WOM search behavior based on shopping orientation)

  • Since consumers have become more comfortable with providing and receiving information online, 'online word of mouth' has been gaining consideration as one of the major information sources. Also, the shopping orientation of consumers has been proven to be an important determinant of consumer behavior. Therefore, the study investigated the differences in online WOM behavior based on shopping orientation. Hedonic, loyal, and syntonic styles were the types of shopping orientation considered, and the study focused on information retrieval tendencies, the motivation of online WOM search, searching online WOM sources, and the contents for the online WOM behavior. The research conducted an off-line survey targeting females in their twenties. The total number of data sets used in the empirical study was 125, and these were analyzed by SPSS 20.0: factors analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, k-means cluster, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney, and Bonferroni correction. The participants were divided into 3 kinds of shopping orientation groups named 'trend-pursuit', 'passive', and 'loyal'. As a result, there were significant differences in online WOM behavior discovered between the groups. Firstly, the 'trend-pursuit' group had the highest number of ongoing searches while the 'loyal' group had the highest number of pre-purchase search. Secondly, the 'trend-pursuit' and 'loyal' groups both had the motivations of online WOM search, hedonic and utility, whereas the 'passive' group had the lowest motivations for both motivations. Thirdly, the 'loyal' group frequently referred to reviews on shopping malls as online WOM sources. The research provided a better understanding of the online WOM behavior of present consumers and suggests that fashion related corporations map out marketing strategies with the understanding of these behaviors.

Sealing capability and marginal fit of titanium versus zirconia abutments with different connection designs

  • PURPOSE. Limited data is available regarding the differences for possible microleakage problems and fitting accuracy of zirconia versus titanium abutments with various connection designs. The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate the effect of connection design and abutment material on the sealing capability and fitting accuracy of abutments. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A total of 42 abutments with different connection designs [internal conical (IC), internal tri-channel (IT), and external hexagonal (EH)] and abutment materials [titanium (Ti) and zirconia (Zr)] were evaluated. The inner parts of implants were inoculated with $0.7{\mu}L$ of polymicrobial culture (P. gingivalis, T. forsythia, T. denticola and F. nucleatum) and connected with their respective abutments under sterile conditions. The penetration of bacteria into the surrounding media was assessed by the visual evaluation of turbidity at each time point and the number of colony forming units (CFUs) was counted. The marginal gap at the implant- abutment interface (IAI) was measured by scanning electron microscope. The data sets were statistically analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis followed by Mann-Whitney U tests with the Bonferroni-Holm correction (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. Statistically significant difference was found among the groups based on the results of leaked colonies (P<.05). The EH-Ti group characterized by an external hexagonal connection were less resistant to bacterial leakage than the groups EH-Zr, IT-Zr, IT-Ti, IC-Zr, and IC-Ti (P<.05). The marginal misfit (in ${\mu}m$) of the groups were in the range of 2.7-4.0 (IC-Zr), 1.8-5.3 (IC-Ti), 6.5-17.1 (IT-Zr), 5.4-12.0 (IT-Ti), 16.8-22.7 (EH-Zr), and 10.3-15.4 (EH-Ti). CONCLUSION. The sealing capability and marginal fit of abutments were affected by the type of abutment material and connection design.

Comparison of Outcomes of Hybrid and Surgical Correction for De Novo Arteriovenous Graft Occlusion

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare surgical revisions and balloon angioplasty after surgical thrombectomy on thrombosed dialysis access as a first event. Materials and Methods: Records of patients undergoing creation of arteriovenous grafts (AVGs) at the Gachon University Gil Medical Center between March 2008 and February 2016 were reviewed. Among them, patients who underwent treatment on first-time thrombotic occlusion after AVG creation were identified. Outcomes were primary, primary-assisted, and secondary patency. The patency was generated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and patency rates were compared by log-rank test. Results: A total of 59 de novo interventions (n=26, hybrid interventions; n=33, surgical revisions) for occlusive AVGs were identified. The estimated 1-year primary patency rates were 47% and 30% in the surgery and hybrid groups, respectively. The estimated primary patency rates were not different between the two groups (log-rank test, P=0.73). The Kaplan-Meier estimates of 6 and 12 months for primary-assisted patency rates were 68% and 57% in the surgery group and 56% and 56% in the hybrid group. The Kaplan-Meier estimates of 12 and 24 months secondary patency rates were 90% and 71% in the surgery group and 79% and 62% in the hybrid group. There were no differences in the estimated primary-assisted and secondary patency rates between the two groups. Conclusion: Our results showed no significant difference between the two groups in terms of primary patency (P=0.73), primary-assisted patency (P=0.85), and secondary patency (P=0.78). However, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty can give more therapeutic options for both surgeons and patients.

An Extraction of Solar-contaminated Energy Part from MODIS Middle Infrared Channel Measurement to Detect Forest Fires

  • In this study, we have proposed an improved method to detect forest fires by correcting the reflected signals of day images using the middle-wavelength infrared (MWIR) channel. The proposed method is allowed to remove the reflected signals only using the image itself without an existing data source such as a land-cover map or atmospheric data. It includes the processing steps for calculating a solar-reflected signal such as 1) a simple correction model of the atmospheric transmittance for the MWIR channel and 2) calculating the image-based reflectance. We tested the performance of the method using the MODIS product. When compared to the conventional MODIS fire detection algorithm (MOD14 collection 6), the total number of detected fires was improved by approximately 17%. Most of all, the detection of fires improved by approximately 30% in the high reflection areas of the images. Moreover, the false alarm caused by artificial objects was clearly reduced and a confidence level analysis of the undetected fires showed that the proposed method had much better performance. The proposed method would be applicable to most satellite sensors with MWIR and thermal infrared channels. Especially for geostationary satellites such as GOES-R, HIMAWARI-8/9 and GeoKompsat-2A, the short acquisition time would greatly improve the performance of the proposed fire detection algorithm because reflected signals in the geostationary satellite images frequently vary according to solar zenith angle.

  • In this paper, a new application of a four variable refined plate theory to analyze the nonlinear bending of functionally graded plates exposed to thermo-mechanical loadings, is presented. This recent theory is based on the assumption that the transverse displacements consist of bending and shear components in which the bending components do not contribute toward shear forces, and similarly, the shear components do not contribute toward bending moments. The derived transverse shear strains has a quadratic variation across the thickness that satisfies the zero traction boundary conditions on the top and bottom surfaces of the plate without using shear correction factors. The material properties are assumed to vary continuously through the thickness of the plate according to a power-law distribution of the volume fraction of the constituents. The solutions are achieved by minimizing the total potential energy. The non-linear strain-displacement relations in the von Karman sense are used to derive the effect of geometric non-linearity. It is concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in solving the nonlinear bending behavior of functionally graded plates.

Clinical Efficacy of Intra-Operative Cell Salvage System in Major Spinal Deformity Surgery

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of intra-operative cell salvage system (ICS) to decrease the need for allogeneic transfusions in patients undergoing major spinal deformity surgeries. Methods : A total of 113 consecutive patients undergoing long level posterior spinal segmental instrumented fusion (${\geq}5$ levels) for spinal deformity correction were enrolled. Data including the osteotomy status, the number of fused segments, estimated blood loss, intra-operative transfusion amount by ICS (Cell $Saver^{(R)}$, $Haemonetics^{(C)}$, Baltimore, MA, USA) or allogeneic blood, postoperative transfusion amount, and operative time were collected and analyzed. Results : The number of patients was 81 in ICS group and 32 in non-ICS group. There were no significant differences in demographic data and comorbidities between the groups. Autotransfusion by ICS system was performed in 53 patients out of 81 in the ICS group (65.4%) and the amount of transfused blood by ICS was 226.7 mL in ICS group. The mean intra-operative allogeneic blood transfusion requirement was significantly lower in the ICS group than non-ICS group (2.0 vs. 2.9 units, p=0.033). The regression coefficient of ICS use was -1.036. Conclusion : ICS use could decrease the need for intra-operative allogeneic blood transfusion. Specifically, the use of ICS may reduce about one unit amount of allogeneic transfusion in major spinal deformity surgery.

전산해석을 통한 탈설계점에서의 극초음속 흡입구 성능 비교 (Comparison of Performance on Hypersonic Intakes in Off-Design Conditions Through Numerical Simulations)

  • 극초음속 영역에서 운용되는 스크램제트엔진의 흡입구는 엔진 전체 성능에 직접적으로 연관되어 있으므로 개발에 앞서, 다양한 조건에서의 성능 특성 분석이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 축대칭 내부 압축형 흡입구인 Busemann과 외부 압축형 흡입구 형상을 설계하고, 설계점 및 탈설계점에서의 전산해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과를 토대로, 마하수와 받음각에 대한 극초음속 흡입구의 전반적인 성능 특성을 파악하였다. Busemann 흡입구는 $2^{\circ}$의 Truncation 각에 따라 흡입구의 길이를 단축하여도 성능 저하가 미미하였으며 탈설계 마하수에서는 흡입구 성능이 우수하였으나, 받음각이 있는 경우 시동 특성이 크게 저하되었다.

익스트림 스포츠 참여자의 여가지지가 여가제약과 생활만족에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Leisure Support and Leisure Constraints on Life Satisfaction of Extreme Sports Participants)

  • 연구는 한국의 익스트림 스포츠 참여자들의 여가지지가 여가제약과 생활만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 대상자는 서울, 인천, 경기, 충청도에 거주하는 성인남녀 368명으로 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 모집하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 규명하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계 분석, 구조방정식모형 분석 등을 사용하였다. 위와 같은 연구 과정을 거쳐 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 익스트림 스포츠참여자의 여가지지는 여가제약에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 익스트림 스포츠 참여자의 여가지지는 생활만족에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 익스트림 스포츠 참여자의 여가제약은 생활만족에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 스포츠 활동과 같은 여가활동은 참여자들에게 높은 만족을 주고 있다는 것을 다시 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 참여자들의 여가지지는 생활만족과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 밝혀졌다. 따라서 익스트림 스포츠 활동에 대한 장점을 적극적으로 홍보하여 지속적인 참여를 유도할 필요가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 한국의 여가활동 참여자들의 여가태도가 심리적 행복감에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 여가만족이 매개변인으로서의 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상자는 서울과 경기도에 거주하는 성인남녀 179명으로 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 모집하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 규명하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계 분석, 구조방정식모형 분석 등을 사용하였다. 위와 같은 연구 과정을 거쳐 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 여가활동 참여자의 여가태도는 여가만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 여가활동 참여자의 여가태도는 심리적 행복감에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 여가활동 참여자의 여가만족은 심리적 행복감에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 여가활동에 대한 참여자들의 태도, 즉 여가태도는 여가만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 심리적 행복감에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 여가만족은 여가태도와 심리적 행복감 간에 매개효과가 없는 것을 알 수 있다. 하지만, 여가태도가 여가만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보아, 지속적으로 여가활동에 참여할 수 있는 인프라 구축이 필요하다.

배경잡음 자료를 이용한 국내 가속도 관측망의 방위각 보정값 측정 (Determining the Orientation of Accelerograph Stations in South Korea using Ambient Noise Data)

  • 기상청에서 운용하는 268개의 가속도 관측망에 대한 방위각 보정값을 측정하기 위해 배경잡음 교차상관 방법을 사용하였다. 이 방법은 배경잡음 자료를 사용하기 때문에 원거리 지진자료를 사용하는 방법과 달리 특정 조건에 맞는 지진을 선정할 필요가 없고, 한반도와 같은 조밀한 관측망에 적용하여 단기간의 연속 파형 자료만을 사용해 신뢰할 수 있는 방위각 보정값을 측정할 수 있다. 계산에는 2020년 1월부터 2020년 2월까지 총 268개의 기상청 가속도 관측망에 기록된 3성분 연속 파형 자료를 사용했다. 계산된 결과를 보면 기존에 원거리 지진자료를 사용한 결과와 매우 유사하며, 기존 결과에서 누락된 가속도 관측소들을 포함한 대부분 관측소의 방위각 보정 계산 결과가 표준편차 5° 이하로 안정적으로 계산되는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구를에서 사용한 방법을 활용해 기상청 가속도 관측소에 대한 방위각 보정값을 지속적으로 모니터링하고 측정된 결과를 활용하면, 가속도 자료의 수평 성분을 활용한 다양한 연구들에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
