아동의 학교생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 생태학적 변인 (The Ecological Variables on Children's School Adjustment)

  • The Ecological variables studied in relation to children's school adjustment were organisms(grade, sex, perceived competence, aggression and withdrawal), microsystems(parental support, marital conflict and supervision, peer victimization and perceived teacher attitude), mesosystems(family-peer relationships, family-school relationships) and the exosystem(neighborhood environment). The sample consisted of 565 fifth and sixth grade children. Instruments were the School Adjustment Scale and Index of organisms, microsystems, mesosystems, and exosystem variables. Statistics and methods used for the data analysis were Cronbach's alpha, frequency, percentage, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. Several major results were found from the analysis. First, children's school adjustment showed positive correlations with perceived competence, parental support and supervision, perceived teacher attitude, family/peer and family/school relationships and neighborhood environment but showed negative correlations with grade, aggression, withdrawal and parental marital conflict and peer victimization. Second, the most important variable predicting child's relationship with teacher, his/her academic adjustment and satisfaction in schoolwas perceived teacher attitude. And the most important variable predicting children's peer relationships in school was perceived social competence.

영아의 어머니 및 교사에 대한 애착 안정성이 어린이집 적응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Infant's Attachment to Mother and Teacher on Adaptation to Child Care)

  • 본 연구는 만 1, 2세 영아를 대상으로 어머니-영아 애착안정성과 교사-영아 애착안정성이 어린이집 적응에 미치는 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 C시에 소재 어린이집을 이용하는 만 1, 2세 영아의 어머니 100명과 담임교사 36명을 대상으로 수집된 영아의 애착안정성과 어린이집 적응 수준은 이원변량분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 어린이집 적응의 하위차원인 사회적 관계 및 긍정적 감정의 경우 교사와 영아 간 애착안정성의 주효과와 상호작용효과가 유의미하게 나타나, 어머니와의 애착이 불안정하더라도 교사에 대한 안정 애착을 형성한 영아의 경우 그렇지 않은 영아보다 어린이집에서의 사회적 관계 적응 및 긍정적 감정의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 공격적 행동에 있어서 어머니와 영아의 애착안정성의 주효과만이 유의미하게 나타나, 어머니와 불안정한 애착을 형성한 영아의 경우 교사와의 안정애착 형성 여부에 상관없이 어린이집에서의 공격적 행동 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

유아교사의 성취목표성향과 교사효능감의 관계연구 (Relationships Between Kindergarten Teachers' Achievement Orientation and Teacher Efficacy)

  • Two hundred ten kindergarten teachers participated in this investigation of the relationship between kindergarten teacher's achievement orientation and teacher efficacy. Instruments were the Teacher Efficacy Scale(Lee, 2002) and the Goal Orientation Scale(Lee, 2002). Data analyzed by ANOVA and hierarchical multiple regression analyses revealed that more highly educated and older teachers were more highly oriented toward mastery goals. Teacher high in mastery and in performance orientation exhibited higher efficacy while low mastery oriented teachers were low in efficacy. The influence of performance goal orientation significantly explained the variance in teacher efficacy. The incremental explanation on teacher efficacy by achievement goal orientation after controlling for demographic variables was statistically significant.

유아교육기관 유형에 따른 교사.또래관계 및 아동 발달에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teacher and Peer Relationships and Child development in Kindergarten and Childcare Center)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore leacher and peer relationships and child development in two types of early childhood program; halfway kindergarten and full-day childcare. The subjects were 90 four and half year old children and their teachers enrolled in 10 kindergartens and 20 childcare centers in Seoul. Each teacher evaluated her children with six scales developed by NICHD Early Child Care Research Network(1996); child-leacher relationship, peer relationship, social competence, adaptive language, behavior characteristics, and behavior problems. The data were analyzed by ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows: First, the girls in both programs had closer relationship with their teachers than the boys. The boys in the daycare were less dependent than those of kinder; on the other hand, the girls in the daycare were more dependent than those of kinder. Second, there was no significant difference in peer relationship between the children in both centers. Third, the girls of both centers scored higher than the boys in social competence. Fourth, in the child's adaptive language, both boys and girls were well developed, but girls were higher than boys, especially in kinder Fifth, the children in both centers behaved attentively in the groups, but in particular, the girths were more attentive. Finally, most of children were received low scores in the behavior problem scale.

초등학생의 성취목적, 교사효능감 및 교수전략 간의 관계 (Elementary School Students' Achievement Goal Orientation, Teacher Efficacy, and Teachers' Approaches to Instruction)

  • This study was to explore the causal relationship among teacher efficacy, teachers' approaches to instruction, and students' achievement goal orientation. Among the 278 6th grade students (average age: 12 years) who completed a self-report questionnaire during the second term, 230 (102 boys, 128 girls) returned the completed questionnaire (overall response rate : 82.7%). Measures of teacher efficacy, teachers' approaches to instruction, and students' achievement goal orientation were based on students' perceptions. Structural equation modeling tested relationships among the variables. Findings were that teacher efficacy influenced both students' achievement goal orientation and teachers' approaches to instruction. Teacher efficacy positively influenced teachers' mastery approach to instruction and students' mastery and performance approach goal orientations, whereas teacher efficacy negatively influenced teachers' performance approach to instruction.

아동의 사회적 능력과 인기도간의 관계 (The Relationship between Social Competence and Popularity in Children)

  • The present research studied the relationship between children's social competence and popularity and examined popularity variables for the prediction of children's social competence. The subjects of this study were 80 children, 40 boys and 40 girls at age 5. Children's social competence was measured by the children's teachers with the use of the Social Competence Scale (Kohn & Rossman, 1972). Children's popularity and unpopularity were obtained from the subjects with the use of Moore's (1973) Sociometric Status Test. Teacher's estimate of the popularity of children was obtained with the use of Connolly & Doyle's (1981) Teacher Rankings of Popularity. The analysis of the data was by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multiple Regression. There were significant relationships between children's social competence and popularity (children's popularity, children's unpopularity, teacher's popularity). Teacher's estimate of child's popularity was the best variable with which to predict children's social competence, the second best variable was children's popularity as measured by Moore's Sociometric Test.

보육교사의 관심사와 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 및 교수효능감 간의 관계 연구 (The Relationship Between Child Care Teacher's Concerns and Their Teacher' Role in Improving Children's Creativity and Their Teaching Efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 관심사와 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 및 교수효능감 간의 관계에 대해 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전라북도 J지역의 보육교사 156명을 연구대상으로 질문지 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 관심사와 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 간에 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하위 내용별로 살펴보면 생존관심사, 강화관심사, 갱신관심사, 성숙관심사에서 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 보육교사의 관심사와 교수효능감 간에 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하위내용별로 살펴보면 생존관심사, 강화관심사, 갱신관심사, 성숙관심사에서 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 결론적으로 보육교사 관심사는 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식과 교수효능감을 예측하는 중요한 변인으로 보육교사들의 관심사를 이해하고 이에 대한 요구 분석을 통해 유아의 창의성 증진을 위한 역할인식 및 교수효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 구체적인 교육환경 요건에 대해 논의하였다.

교사-유아관계와 유아의 사회적 능력과의 관계 (Relationship of Children with Their Teachers and Children's Social Competence)

  • This study was designed to examine the relationships between three distinct dimensions of teacher-child relationship(closeness, conflict, and dependency) and various aspects of children's social competence. The subjects were 101 children at their ages of five to six years old (56 keys, 45 girls) in Jeonju city. The data were collected through preschool teachers by using self-administered questionnaire method. The results showed that teacher-child relationship was significantly associated with their social competence in preschool. Specifically, closeness in children's relationship with their teachers was fouled to be strongly correlated with children's social competence, white conflict between children and their teachers was negatively related with children's social competence. Finally, children's dependency on their Coachers was associated with children's problem behaviors.

학령전환기 유아의 문제행동에 대한 연구 (Problem Behaviors of Young Children in the Transitional)

  • 본 연구는 유아의 학령전환기에 있는 만 5세 유아의 문제행동과 관련하여 유아, 교사 및 부모의 관련 변인과 유아의 문제행동에 통계적인 유의미한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고, 변인들의 상대적인 영향력을 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구대상은 학령전환기에 있는 만 5세 유아와 그들의 부모, 그리고 만 5세 유아의 담임교사를 대상으로 하였다. 연구방법은 빈도와 백분율, t-검증, 일원변량분석, 상관관계분석, 그리고 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 유아의 문제행동은 어머니 학력에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 둘째, 유아의 기질, 유아의 자아탄력성, 어머니의 양육스트레스, 어머니의 인성특성, 교사-유아관계, 교사의 정서표현성과 유아의 문제행동은 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 셋째, 교사-유아관계가 유아의 문제행동을 가장 잘 예언하는 변인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아변인과 부모변인, 교사변인이 각각 그리고 상호적으로 유아의 문제행동에 대해 어느 정도 설명력을 갖는지를 살펴봄으로서 문제행동에 대한 총체적 이해와 실천에서의 통합모델을 제시하였다고 본다.

예비보육교사의 행동특성이 자기 효능감에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Pre-Service Child Care Teachers' Behavioral Characteristics on Self-Efficacy : Focused on the Mediating Effects of Social Support)

  • This investigation studied 1)the correlations among pre-service child care teachers' behavioral characteristics, social support and self-efficacy, and 2)the mediating effects of pre-service child care teachers' behavioral characteristics and social support on self-efficacy. The subjects were 240 pre-service child care teachers working at S-center for nursery teacher education or I-center for nursery teacher education in the Incheon area. The findings are as follows. First, the relationships among pre-service child care teachers' behavioral characteristics, social support and self-efficacy were examined by showing correlations. Second, we found that in terms of the mediating role of social support in the relationship between pre-service child care teachers' behavioral characteristics and self-efficacy, type D and type S show self-efficacy; they also have a direct impact on the social support indirectly affected through. Thus, social support can be seen as having a partial mediating effect.
