  • In this article, we show that a pseudo-Hermitian magnetic curve in a normal almost contact metric 3-manifold equipped with the canonical affine connection ${\hat{\nabla}}^t$ is a slant helix with pseudo-Hermitian curvature ${\hat{\kappa}}={\mid}q{\mid}\;sin\;{\theta}$ and pseudo-Hermitian torsion ${\hat{\tau}}=q\;cos\;{\theta}$. Moreover, we prove that every pseudo-Hermitian magnetic curve in normal almost contact metric 3-manifolds except quasi-Sasakian 3-manifolds is a slant helix as a Riemannian geometric sense. On the other hand we will show that a pseudo-Hermitian magnetic curve γ in a quasi-Sasakian 3-manifold M is a slant curve with curvature κ = |(t - α) cos θ + q| sin θ and torsion τ = α + {(t - α) cos θ + q} cos θ. These curves are not helices, in general. Note that if the ambient space M is an α-Sasakian 3-manifold, then γ is a slant helix.

  • In this paper we prove the following : Let M be a semi-invariant submanifold with almost contact metric structure (${\phi}$, ${\xi}$, g) of codimension 3 in a complex hyperbolic space $H_{n+1}{\mathbb{C}}$. Suppose that the third fundamental form n satisfies $dn=2{\theta}{\omega}$ for a certain scalar ${\theta}({\leq}{\frac{c}{2}})$, where ${\omega}(X,\;Y)=g(X,\;{\phi}Y)$ for any vectors X and Y on M. Then M has constant eigenvalues correponding the shape operator A in the direction of the distinguished normal and the structure vector ${\xi}$ is an eigenvector of A if and only if M is locally congruent to one of the type $A_0$, $A_1$, $A_2$ or B in $H_n{\mathbb{C}}$.

  • We are devoted to dealing with the conformal theory of a Rizza manifold with a generalized Finsler metric $G_{ij}$ (x,y) and a new conformal invariant non-linear connection $M^{i}$ $_{j}$ (x,y) constructed from the generalized Cern's non-linear connection $N^{i}$ $_{j}$ (x,y) and almost complex structure $f^{i}$ $_{j}$ (x). First, we find a conformal invariant connection ( $M_{j}$ $^{i}$ $_{k}$ , $M^{i}$ $_{j}$ , $C_{j}$ $^{i}$ $_{k}$ ) and conformal invariant tensors. Next, the nearly Kaehlerian (G, M)-structures under conformal change in a Rizza manifold are investigate.

  • A methodology to measure 3-dimensional vibrational displacement of a structure by digital photogrammetry is proposed in this paper. Stereo digital images of a vibrating structure were obtained by two non-metric cameras. Then by applying the collinearity condition to the images, the 3-d displacement time history data of a point or many points can be calculated by the present methodology. Experimental work was performed to measure the displacement time history for a cantilever beam excited by a piezoelectric patch, in which the in-depth displacement data obtained by the proposed method well matched the laser sensor data.

  • The goal of this paper is to analyze the generalized m-quasi-Einstein structure in the context of almost Kenmotsu manifolds. Firstly we showed that a complete Kenmotsu manifold admitting a generalized m-quasi-Einstein structure (g, f, m, λ) is locally isometric to a hyperbolic space ℍ2n+1(-1) or a warped product ${\tilde{M}}{\times}{_{\gamma}{\mathbb{R}}$ under certain conditions. Next, we proved that a (κ, µ)'-almost Kenmotsu manifold with h' ≠ 0 admitting a closed generalized m-quasi-Einstein metric is locally isometric to some warped product spaces. Finally, a generalized m-quasi-Einstein metric (g, f, m, λ) in almost Kenmotsu 3-H-manifold is considered and proved that either it is locally isometric to the hyperbolic space ℍ3(-1) or the Riemannian product ℍ2(-4) × ℝ.

본 연구에서 제안한 복잡성 척도는 Chidamber and Kemerer의 상속구조에 관한 척도인 DIT(Depth of Inheritance Tree)와 NOC(Number Of Children)를 기초로 Li가 지적한 Chidamber and Kemerer 척도의 모호성을 해결한 통합적 척도로서, 클래스 상속구조의 복잡성 측정에 있어서 조상 클래스 수, 자손 클래스 수, 상속구조의 깊이를 고려한 간단하고 휴리스틱한 척도이다. 이는 상속구조의 분리에 있어서 복잡도를 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 정보를 제공한다.

  • The object of this study was to evaluate lotic ecosystem health using multiple eco-metric approaches such as water chemistry diagnosis, physical habitat health evaluations, and biological integrity modeling at 100 streams of four major watersheds. For the study, eight chemical water quality parameters such as nutrients (N, P) and organic material were measured and 11-metric models of Qualitative Habitat Evaluation Index (QHEI) and multiple eco-metric health assessment model (MEHA) were applied to the four major watershed. Nutrient analysis of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) in all watersheds indicated a eutrophic state depending on the locations of sampling streams. Physical habitat health, based on the QHEI model, averaged 114 (range: 56 - 194), judging as a "good condition" by the criteria of Plafkin et al. (1989). In addition, primary (H1 - H4), secondary (H5 - H7), and tertiary habitat metric variables (H8 - H11) were analyzed in relation to the physical habitat degradations. The plots of tolerant species ($P_{TS}$) and sensitive species ($P_{SS}$) to water quality showed that the proportions of $P_{TS}$ had positive linear functions with nutrients, and that the $P_{SS}$ had inverse linear relations with the chemical variables. The model of eco-metric health assessment showed that mean MEHA was 20.4, indicating a fair condition. Overall, our data suggest that water chemistry, based on nutrients and organic matter, directly modified the trophic structures in relation to food chain in the aquatic ecosystems, and then these directly influenced the compositions of tolerance/sensitive species, resulting in degradations of overall ecological health.
