This study aims to present a Braille Library document creation and management status, and to identify ways to improve. This research field surveys and interviews were conducted three institutions, the quality requirements of the ISO 15489 standards. As a result, the Braille Library document management improvement plan is as follows. First, the policy and regulatory maintenance is needed. Copy of the regulations on the creation and management, access rights and related document management policies should be developed. Second, the document creation process needs to be improved. Electronic approval system responsible for the creation of persons who are visually impaired, visually impaired people can read documents created during document creation, and introduced measures and braille labels on the files attached to will have to be prepared. Third, the document management process needs to be improved. Changes in the creation copy of the records, and preserved along with the preservation of the original and the copy to have the same period, appointed to manage one set of all copies of the authentic copy of the plan is also required. Finally, for document management system should be introduced. Systematic document management system that can be introduced is required. This system will be designed to be accessible to the visually impaired, the search.

The purpose of this study was identified the influence of introducing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) on reception attitude, based on literature investigation, the study converted utility and serviceability from Davis TAM Model into awareness of effects in computerized database except attitude variable. The electronic survey for doctors, nurses, medical technicians of a general hospital located in Gangwon-do was performed for 4 weeks from Nov, 11th, 2009 to Dec, 2nd and the collected data was computerized through SPSS 12.0. The factors influencing reception attitude were divided into 4 categories; basic characteristics of the individual, awareness of privacy protection, awareness of effects in computerized database, technological preparation and measured detailed specific variables. As the result of this, the factors influencing reception intention were different depending on recognizing the effectiveness caused by computerization of medical information. Especially, in terms of the difference between basic characteristics of the individual and awareness of privacy protection, there were significant distinctions among 3 sectors; general, transactional, online information management. The significant effects were identified from information management related to business or online information management depending on experiencing security education.

This study examines the status quo of Korean archives and records management from the Governmental as well as professional activities for the development of the field in relation to the new legislation on records management. Among many concerns, this study primarily explores the following four perspectives: 1) the Government Archives and Records Services; 2) the Korean Association of Archives; 3) the Korean Society of Archives and Records Management; 4) the Journal of Korean Society of Archives and Records Management. One of the primary tasks of the is to build the special depository within which the Presidential Library should be located. As a result, the position of the GARS can be elevated and directed by an official at the level of vice-minister right under a president as a governmental representative of managing the public records. In this manner, GARS can sustain its independency and take custody of public records across government agencies. made efforts in regard to the preservation of paper records, the preservation of digital resources in new media formats, facilities and equipments, education of archivists and continuing, training of practitioners, and policy-making of records preservation. For further development, academia and corporate should cooperate continuously to face with the current problems. has held three international conferences to date. The topics of conferences include respectively: 1) records management and archival education of Korea, Japan, and China; 2) knowledge management and metadata for the fulfillment of archives and information science; and 3) electronic records management and preservation with the understanding of ongoing archival research in the States, Europe, and Asia. The Society continues to play a leading role in both of theory and practice for the development of archival science in Korea. It should also suggest an educational model of archival curricula that fits into the Korean context. The Journals of Records Management & Archives Society of Korea have been published on the six major topics to date. Findings suggest that "Special Archives" on regional or topical collections are desirable because it can house subject holdings on specialty or particular figures in that region. In addition, archival education at the undergraduate level is more desirable for Korean situations where practitioners are strongly needed and professionals with master degrees go to manager positions. Departments of Library and Information Science in universities, therefore, are needed to open archival science major or track at the undergraduate level in order to meet current market demands. The qualification of professional archivists should be moderate as well.

The Internet is a wonderland that can be enjoyed by the young, old, and those in-between. It is also a vast commercial market where many contracts are formed every second. The Internet and E-Commerce have created new situations that have generated sweeping proposals for fundamental changes in contract law. During the first half of the 20th Century. when many businesses expanded their geographic scope, there was a tremendous desire for uniform treatment of contracts for the sale of goods throughout the U.S.A. and the whole world. That same dynamic is now occurring in E-Commerce. There is a general recognition of the desirability of uniform contract law to govern E-commerce, but to date that does not exist, though there are extensive proposals for reform of contract law on the Internet. E-Commerce is currently plagued by some of the same problems that led to the passage of the UCC. In the absence of uniform legislation, state-by-state differences are inevitable with respect to E-Commerce. State-by-state differences in E-Commerce contract law is widely viewed as undesirable. To deal with this problem, a number of uniform bills have been proposed including UCITA, UETA, and revisions to Article 2 of the UCC (Subpart B). The thrust of these uniform acts is to create legal parity between paper records and electronic records. There is considerable resistance by consumer groups to this parity and progress towards Passage of UCITA, UETA, and revised Article 2 has been slow. The UCITA covers licenses of computer software but does not cover the sale oil goods on the Internet. The scope of the UCITA includes computer software. multimedia interactive products, computer data and databases, and Internet and online information, The UETA deals comprehensively with E-Commerce and contract law. The UCC covers the sale of goods, which does not necessarily involve E-Commerce. The basic principles of contract law are modified to deal with Internet transactions. Intent is inferred from the operations of electronic agents and "signatures" can occur with a response to an invitation to click to accept.

Background: With the enactment of the Hospice, Palliative, Care, and Life-sustaining Treatment Decision-Making Act in February 2018, legal guidelines for physician orders for life-sustaining treatment (POLST) were presented. This study was conducted to analyze the association of writing POLST on the use of health care before death. Methods: The study analyzed the electronic medical records and POLSTs of 1,003 adult patients who died at a tertiary hospital located in Seoul from February 4, 2018 to February 4, 2019. Results: Of the deaths, 80% (n=804) completed POLST. Among patients who completed POLST before death, 51% (n=412) were written 1-7 days before death, and only 31% (n=246) were completed by patients themselves. 99% (n=799) decided to withdraw or withhold cardiopulmonary resuscitation. As a result of analyzing the effect of POLST on medical use before death, it was found that POLST and inpatient cost had a significant negative correlation, and POLST completion significantly reduced death in the intensive care unit (ICU). However, both inpatient costs and death at ICU increased when the POLST was completed by surrogate decision-makers rather than patients themselves. Conclusion: The enactment of the Hospice, Palliative, Care, and Life-sustaining Treatment Decision-Making Act provided a legal basis for withdrawing and withholding meaningless life-sustaining treatment. By specifying the treatment to be received at the end of one's life through the POLST, inpatient treatment costs and death at the ICU were decreased. However, the frequent decision-making by the surrogates and completion of POLST close to death may hinder the original purpose of the law.

This study was conducted to arrange the basic data for the ways to operate the effective nursing programs and reduce job stress by grasping the awareness, satisfaction and job stress of the nurses due to the introduction of EMR(EMR : Electronic Medical Record) system and clarifying the relationship among them. Methods: Of the hospitals which introduced EMR, the study was conducted for 356 nurses who used EMR in a university hospital in D city and the data was collected from June 1 to June 30. The collected data was analyzed with real number, percentage, T-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The results of the study above, it could be certified that the higher the satisfaction and awareness of the users of EMR were, the more the job stress of them decreased. Therefore, the qualitative nursing should be provided to the patients by reducing job stress with the improvement of the awareness and satisfaction of the nurses of EMR, and shortening the time in keeping the records of patients, in order to enhance the satisfaction of EMR, there should be a proper management, such as a regular EMR education, and there must be the ways to reduce the job stress of the nurses and strengthen the satisfaction of EMR.

This study aimed to determine the management and environmental factors affecting medical expense reduction. For analysis, medical expenses were divided into hospitalization expenses and outpatient treatment expenses, and the rate of medical expense reduction was classified into initial and final reduction rates. Data were collected through a direct survey among 205 directors of independent health insurance review departments of hospital-level medical institutions in Korea. The results of the study are discussed below: In the analysis, differences in the initial and final reduction rates of hospitalization expenses and outpatient treatment expenses were compared. The results showed that, in hospitalization expenses, the initial and final reduction rates were both significantly affected by the following management factors: number of beds, number of departments, number of personnel reviewing health insurance cases, and total number of employees. Further, in outpatient treatment expenses, the initial and final reduction rates were both affected significantly by the following management factors: management of medical records, number of beds, number of departments, number of personnel reviewing health insurance, and total number of employees. The management factors significantly affecting both the initial and final reduction rates were higher number of beds for hospitalization expenses and electronic medical record management for outpatient treatment expenses. The environmental factors significantly affecting both the initial and final reduction rates of hospitalization expenses were a highly cooperative work environment, better implementation of indicator management systems, and overtime pay. Better implementation of indicator management system and a committee for handling medical expenses had significant effects on the initial reduction rate for outpatient treatment expenses. A highly cooperative work environment, better implementation of indicator management system, and overtime pay had significant effects on the final reduction rate for outpatient treatment expenses.

The purpose of this study was to promote the understanding of laboratory notebook's record characteristics through getting a line on the importance of the notebooks which have record, information, communication, and proof functions. To improve the research ethics and cultures, this study was examined and investigated by literature references and survey results. This study analyzed the status of the notebooks in part of laboratory information system of the R&D institutes, paper notebooks for laboratory records management, and the introduction of ELN for digital record. For the notebook's institutionalization, more review is needed to the possibility of involvement in the conflict, evidential requisite and signature by inspector, the limitation of autonomous policy for the notebook's operation, the difficulty of preservation for 30 years, the introduction of ELN and utilization for the notebooks. To improve management and institutionalization for the notebooks, it is needed to the notebook's record for knowledge management and evidential values, support and budget for the notebook's management department, researcher's recognition conversion for the notebooks related to the intellectual property and technology transference, the record method train for the notebooks from the university classes, and the introduction of ELN related to the laboratory information management system or project management system.

This study is a study on the performance of design services among export voucher projects. In particular, we have identified the actual state of use of design services from the perspective of participating companies and the corresponding problems. The purpose of the study is to provide basic data for the preparation of successful support plans in the field of design services. This study designed a quantitative survey to measure accurate performance of design services using archive records, and the survey was sent three times in total to 135 participating companies. A significant achievement of design services the study found is that the role of design were important in the export of the nation's main industries such as medical/biological/healthcare and electrical/electronic products. In addition, we could see that all participating companies were using design services regardless of the difference in sales. In particular, 96% of participating companies answered that the design service effect was the most effective service. As a result, it proved the importance of design services in export voucher projects, and suggested the importance of introducing a management system as a direction for the development of design services in future export voucher projects. He majored in advertising design at Hongik University's Graduate School of Industrial Art and at the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. It carries out the government's design policy such as design research, design education, and corporate design support. He is currently working as an Invited Designer by Korea Design Exhibition.
