  • In this paper, we extend the study of general convergence theorems for the Picard iteration of Proinov contraction from the class of continuous mappings to the class of discontinuous mappings. As a by product we provide a new affirmative answer to the open problem posed in [20].

  • Global concern over climate change, driven by greenhouse gas emissions, has prompted widespread interest in sustainable solutions. In the agricultural sector, biochar has emerged as a focal point for mitigating these emissions. This study investigated the impact of continuous biochar application on CO2 and N2O emissions during the spring cabbage cultivation period. Greenhouse gas emissions in the biochar treatment groups (soils treated with 1, 3, and 5 tons/ha of rice husk biochar) were compared to those in the control group without biochar. During the spring cabbage cultivation period in 2022, the total CO2 emissions were in the range of 71.6-119.0 g/m2 day, and in 2023, with continuous biochar application, they were in the range of 71.6-102.1 g/m2 day. The total emissions of N2O in 2022 and 2023 were in the range of 11.7-23.7 and 7.8-19.9 g/m2 day, respectively. Overall, greenhouse gas emissions decreased after biochar treatment, confirming the positive influence of biochar on mitigating greenhouse gas release from the soil. Nevertheless, further research over an extended period exceeding five years is deemed essential to delve into the specific mechanisms behind these observed changes and to assess the long-term sustainability of biochar's impact on greenhouse gas dynamics in agricultural settings.

  • The semilocal convergence of a third order iterative method used for solving nonlinear operator equations in Banach spaces is established by using recurrence relations under the assumption that the second Fr´echet derivative of the involved operator satisfies the ${\omega}$-continuity condition given by $||F^{\prime\prime}(x)-F^{\prime\prime}(y)||{\leq}{\omega}(||x-y||)$, $x,y{\in}{\Omega}$, where, ${\omega}(x)$ is a nondecreasing continuous real function for x > 0, such that ${\omega}(0){\geq}0$. This condition is milder than the usual Lipschitz/H$\ddot{o}$lder continuity condition on $F^{\prime\prime}$. A family of recurrence relations based on two constants depending on the involved operator is derived. An existence-uniqueness theorem is established to show that the R-order convergence of the method is (2+$p$), where $p{\in}(0,1]$. A priori error bounds for the method are also derived. Two numerical examples are worked out to demonstrate the efficacy of our approach and comparisons are elucidated with a known result.

  • Fashion vertical platforms offer various content and events to consumers and have established a strong customer base. Especially, they cater to the sensibilities of young customers. This study analyzed the characteristics of a sensuous fashion vertical platform, which enhances expertise and provides customized services. In addition, this study aimed to find out whether consumer innovation modulates the relationship between fashion vertical platform, platform satisfaction, and continuous shopping intention. An online survey was conducted targeting consumers in their 20s and 30s who had experience using fashion vertical platforms, and 222 samples were analyzed. Factor analysis and structural equation model were analyzed using the SPSS 29.0 and Smart-PLS. Smart-PLS analysis results showed that exclusivity, convenience and informativeness did not directly affect continuous shopping intention but showed a complete mediating effect through platform satisfaction. Both the high and low innovative groups demonstrated significant effects of exclusivity on platform satisfaction, and platform satisfaction showed significant effects on continuous shopping intention. A high level of innovation among the consumers showed significant mediating effects on exclusivity, personalization, and continuous shopping intention, as reflected by information on platform satisfaction, and low level of innovation among the consumers showed significant effect on convenience. This study's findings highlight the importance of enhancing exclusivity, convenience, informativeness, and esthetics in fashion vertical platforms, and improving platform satisfaction. These findings will be used to develop marketing strategies that can lead to continuous shopping intentions and provide opportunities for the industry.

  • The demand for non-contact service has increased a lot along with the development of technology and the generalization of social distancing to prevent COVID-19 spread during the pandemic. This study analyzed mediator and moderating variables between digital literacy and intention of continuous use of non-contact service were identified. The result showed that digital literacy had a significant influence on intention of continuous use of non-contact service. In particular, self-efficacy and satisfaction played a moderating role in the relation between digital literacy and intention of continuous use of non-contact service. This study is intended to contribute to expanding the base of non-contact service by verifying whether satisfaction and self-efficacy played important mediator variables in the relation between digital literacy and intention of continuous use of non-contact service

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of broadcasters' broadcasting commentators' attributes on broadcasting conditions and the intention of continuous viewing of e-sports competitions. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted on 300 university students who had experience watching e-sports competition broadcasting. The final 295 copies were selected as the final valid samples and data processing was carried out. Using SPSS 23, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and simple and multiple regression analysis were performed. The result of this study was: First, reliability and attractiveness among the sub-factors of commentator attributes were shown to have a positive effect on broadcasting conditions. Second, reliability and attractiveness among the sub-factors of commentator attributes have a positive effect on the intent of continuous viewing. Third, broadcasting conditions have a positive effect on the intention of continuous viewing.

  • In the present paper we shall prove that on a foundation *-semigroup S with an identity and with a locally bounded Borel measurable weight function ${\omega}$, the pointwise convergence and the uniform convergence of a sequence of ${\omega}$-bounded exponentially convex functions on S which are also continuous at the identity are equivalent.

  • Some strong convergence theorems of explicit iteration scheme for asymptotically nonexpansive semi-groups in Banach spaces are established. The results presented in this paper extend and improve some recent results in [T. Suzuki. On strong convergence to common fixed points of nonexpansive semigroups in Hilbert spaces, Proc. Amer. Math.
