업사이클링 패션 제품에 대한 지각차원이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 윤리적 소비태도의 조절효과 - (The effect of perceived value and risk on purchasing intention of up-cycling fashion product - Moderating role of ethical consumption attitude -)

  • Upcycling is the process of repurposing abandoned resources or useless products into products of better quality or higher environmental value. Upcycling products are evaluated to be sustainable because they demonstrate environmental values. However, domestic upcycling companies are operating on a small scale with a slow growth rate. This study aims to examine the value and risk factors of upcycling products from previous literature and clarify the effect of these ambivalent characteristics on purchase intention. This provides direction regarding factors upcycling companies should focus on. The data were collected via an online experiment with women in their 20s and 30s residing in South Korea, nationwide. The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0. Analysis of this data suggests that environmental, design, and self-expression value positively affect purchase intention. This extends previous upcycling literature by identifying design and self-expression value as important antecedents of purchase intention. However, in contrast to previous literature, no significant effect of performance or diversity risk was found. These results indicate that ethical attitude has a moderating effect on the relationship between environmental value and purchase intention. This study confirms that consumers intend to purchase upcycling products when they possess not only environmental value but also design and self-expression value.

The Moderating Role of CSR Associations on the Link between Brand Awareness and Purchase Intention

  • This study uses the moderating model to explore the relationships between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) associations, brand awareness and consumer purchase intention. Besides investigating the direct effects of CSR associations on brand awareness and consumer purchase intention, this study also focuses on discovering the moderating role of CSR associations on the relationship between brand awareness and consumer purchase intention among Vietnamese students. Adapting scales from previous research, the authors distribute questionnaires to consumers across the country. Then, the validity and reliability are tested via Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Moreover, by employing a meta-analytical path analysis with a sample of 686 consumers, the authors show that CSR associations play an important role in shaping purchase intention among Vietnamese consumers regarding the consumption of organic milk products. Also, CSR associations have a strong effect on brand awareness. However, our study shows that purchase intention is not directly affected by brand awareness. In other words, brand awareness does not mediate the relationship between CSR associations and purchase intention. Interestingly, authors show that CSR associations moderate the link between brand awareness and consumer purchase intention. Based on the research, some recommendations are made to companies that produce organic milk products.

패션명품 소비가치가 브랜드 관계유지의도에 미치는 영향 -명품 구매액과 구매브랜드 수에 따른 세분시장별 분석- (The Effect of Fashion Luxury Consumption Values on the Intention to Maintain Brand Relationships -Differences among Segmented Markets Based on Purchasing Patterns-)

  • This study identifies the fashion luxury customer segments grouped by expenditures and the number of purchasing brands to verify the effects of perceived luxury consumption values on the intention to maintain a brand relationship for each group. A survey questionnaire was developed and implemented to collect data to measure fashion luxury expenditures, number of purchasing brands, luxury customer values, intention to maintain brand relationships, and demographic variables. A total of 326 responses were analyzed by factor analysis, multiple regression, one-way ANOVA, and $X^2$ analysis with SPSS18.0. Respondents were grouped by luxury expenditures; in addition, the number of purchasing brands were grouped into four segments of Switching/Heavy (31.6%), Switching/Light (19.9%), Loyal/Heavy (31.3%), and Loyal/Light (7.2%) Customer Group, that was different in terms of age and marital status. When the luxury customer value for the most patronized luxury brand was factor analyzed, five distinctive sub dimensions were identified, such as Social Value, Aesthetic/Expressive Value, Experiential Value, Quality Value, and Economic Value. For the Loyal/Heavy Group, the Experiential Value had a significant effect on the customer intention to maintain a brand relationship. For the Loyal/Light group, the Aesthetic /Expressive and Economic Value had a significant effect, and for the Switching/Heavy and Switching/Light Group, Quality and Economic Value had a significant effect on the customer intention to maintain a brand relationship. In conclusion, each luxury customer value in the behavioral segments works differently in influencing the intention to maintain a brand relationship. In addition, the implications for retail strategy were discussed based on the findings.

고객의 과시소비에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (The Impact of Factors on Consumers' Conspicuous Consumption)

  • 본 연구에서는 고객이 인지하는 제품 및 서비스의 고급스러움이 고객의 과시소비 성향과 구매의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 수행되었다. 고객은 보다 고급화된 가치, 이른바 럭셔리 가치를 중요하게 생각한다. 본 연구는 이러한 럭셔리 가치를 크게 재무적, 기능적, 사회적, 개인적 가치로 구분하고 럭셔리 가치가 고객의 과시소비에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대해 분석하였다. 연구결과를 얻기 위해 설문조사를 수행하였고, 필요한 통계처리를 시행하였다. 연구결과 본 연구에서 제시한 럭셔리 가치 요인인 재무적, 기능적, 사회적, 개인적 가치가 고객의 과시소비 성향에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고객의 과시소비 성향은 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 개인적 가치의 경우 다른 가치에 비해 보다 많이 과시소비 성향에 영향을 줄 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 고객은 자신이 필요한 경우 과시소비에 높은 가치를 부여하는 것으로 판단된다.

향토음식점의 스토리텔링이 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Storytelling on Purchase Behavior in Local Food Restaurant)

  • The aim of this study was to examine how customers perceive storytelling at a real local restaurant and to understand how consumption reflects their evaluation by understanding their values. Participants received information from a real local restaurant in the Gangneung area to examine the effects of storytelling and to evaluate their affective attitudes towards local restaurant stories, word-of-mouth intentions, and purchasing intentions using a seven-point Likert scale. A total of 310 consumers were used. A factor analysis was performed to identify consumption value characteristics and factor structure, which consisted economic value, emotional value, and epistemic value. To test whether local restaurant consumers could be classified into homogenous groups based on their consumption values, a three cluster solution was selected, and a Kmeans cluster analysis was performed. As a result, three groups were identified and labeled appropriate for their scores based on each of the consumption values; emotional value-oriented consumers to cluster 1, epistemic value-oriented consumers to cluster 2, and economic value-oriented consumers to cluster 3. An analysis of variance was used to examine the differences in the affective attitudes towards storytelling at the local restaurant, purchasing intentions, and word-of-mouth intentions across the three clusters. The epistemic value-oriented consumers had the highest score for all three variables. In contrast, economic value-oriented consumers had the lowest scores for the three variables. A regression analysis revealed that affective attitudes towards storytelling were significantly affected by these three consumption values. It also showed that positive affective attitudes towards storytelling were associated with higher purchasing intention and word-of-mouth. The significance of this study was to show how customers perceive storytelling at a real restaurant and reflect on their evaluation by understanding their consumption values. As a result, this study examined the potential power of storytelling as an effective marketing communication tool for local restaurants.

자녀 양육비와 둘째 자녀 출산의도 (Childrearing Expenditure and the Intension to Have the Second Childbirth)

  • This study investigated the association between the expenditures for childrearing and the intention to have the second childbirth applying the recursive equation models. The major results were as follows. First, more than half of the households with one child did not have an intention to have the second childbirth. Second, about 40% of the household expenditure was spent for childrearing. About 36% of the childrearing expenditure was spent on the childcare and education, and about 64% on purchase of goods and services for child. Third, the variables which had a significant effect on the intention to have the second childbirth were child's age, mother's education, father's income, the private educational expenditure, and consumption expenditure for child. The intention to have the second childbirth did not have a significant effect on the level of childrearing expenditure. The implications for the family policies were suggested.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of attributes related to consumers' selection of a seafood buffet restaurant on consumers' satisfaction and their intention to revisit focused on seafood buffet restaurants in the Busan area to activate the seafood buffet restaurant business and to contribute to the food service industry. The results of this study showed that the attributes related to customers' selection of a seafood buffet restaurant have an effect on customer satisfaction and intention to revisit and that customer satisfaction affects their intention to revisit. Thus, this study is meaningful in that it suggested the trend of customers' consumption and the direction of future development of the food service industry.

노인요양병원 재이용 의사에 영향을 미치는 소비가치 요인 (Consumption Values on the Intention to Re-use on Geriatric Hospitals)

  • 노인장기요양보험 도입 이후 노인요양병원은 양적으로 빠르게 증가하였다. 그러나 노인요양병원 이용자의 만족도에 관한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않았다. 이 연구는 Sheth의 소비가치이론을 우리나라 노인요양병원 환자들의 특성에 맞게 부분적으로 수정하여, 시립노인요양병원과 민간노인요양병원에 입원한 환자들을 대상으로 만족도의 중요한 요소 중 하나인 재이용 의사를 분석하여 노인요양병원 경영전략 수립에 필요한 기초자료를 도출하였다. 서울과 경기지역에 소재하고 있는 시립노인요양병원 2개소와 민간노인요양병원 3개소에서 진료를 받고있는 60세 이상의 입원환자 475명을 조사 대상으로 선정하였다. 구조화된 설문지를 개발하여 2012년 8월 1일부터 2012년 9월 30일 까지 자기 기입방법과 면담 설문방법으로 자료를 수집하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS(version14.0)을 사용하여 요인분석을 통해 범주를 추출하고, 위계적 로지스틱 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 소비가치 요인 중에서 기능적 가치인 재활치료의 만족도가 병원을 재이용하도록 하는 가장 강한 요인이었으며, 감정적 가치인 첨단 고급성과 진료서비스의 신뢰성, 건강적 가치인 운명적인 건강관의 순으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 추정되었다. 따라서, 노인요양병원의 경영에 있어서 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 병원 이용 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 재활치료 프로그램의 향상 및 시설, 장비의 개선, 직원의 친절도 향상 등의 전략을 수립하고, 병원 재이용 의사를 제고하기 위한 경영 전략을 수립하는 것이 필요하다.

Reflective Model of Brand Awareness on Repurchase Intention and Customer Satisfaction

  • This study aims to analyze and confirm brand awareness' role in influencing the repurchase intention both directly and indirectly on customer satisfaction variables and repurchase intention variables. The contribution brought by this study is to reflect manifest variables such as recall, purchase, and consumption. The number of respondents in this study was 200 samples using the online survey data collection method (Google form), while the research approach is quantitative explanatory. The data analysis test tools include the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with AMOS as a statistical data analysis software and Sobel test to indirectly test the relationship. This study consists of four hypotheses, of which three hypotheses are positively and significantly related (brand awareness on repurchase intention, brand awareness on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention). Through indirect relationship, namely, brand awareness on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction, the study showed no significant effect. In a comprehensive way, this study emphasizes the factor of customer satisfaction as a determinant of consumer loyalty and repurchase intention. Therefore, creating optimal customer satisfaction, service excellence, promotion and massive advertising, guaranteeing the safety and ease-of-use apps, and ease of shopping, especially for e-commerce industry, is a serious concern.

부산지역 여성고객들의 외식소비성향이 긍정적 감정반응과 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Relation between Effects of Positive Emotional Response of Female Customers in Busan and Behavioral Intention according to Their Food Service Consumption Propensity)

  • 본 연구는 전문한식당을 이용한 경험이 있는 부산지역 여성들을 대상으로 외식소비성향에 따른 긍정적 감정반응이 행동의도에 미치는 영향관계를 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 3월 10일부터 3월 25일까지 설문조사를 진행하여 248부를 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS을 이용하여 빈도분석 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식 모형(SEM : structure equation model)을 시행하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 5개의 요인으로 분석되었고, 확인적 요인분석에서 평균분산추출값(AVE)은 .508~.665이고, 합성신뢰도(CR)값은 .905~946값으로 집중타당성이 있는 것으로 판명되었다. 가설 검정에서 가설 1은 외식소비성향은 긍정적 감정반응에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 설정하였는데, 맛 추구형(${\beta}$=.325, t=3.907, p<.001), 건강 추구형 (${\beta}$=.190, t=2.688, p<.001), 분위기 추구형 (${\beta}$=.188, t=2.515, p<.001)로 분석되어 가설 1은 채택되었다. 가설 2는 긍정적인 감정반응은 행동의 도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 설정하였는데, 표준화 경로계수가 ${\beta}$=.496(t=6.388, p<.001) 분석되어 가설 2는 채택되었다. 외식업체 경영자들은 여성고객들의 외식소비성향에서 맛 추구형이 긍정적인 감정반응에 가장 큰 영향력이 있다는 점과 고객들이 긍정적 감정반응(유쾌함, 편안함, 만족함, 즐거움)을 느낄 수 있도록 업체의 분위기를 만드는 것이 중요하다는 시사점을 제시하고 있다.
