This study aimed at examining the career decision level of Clothing and Textile major college students in Seoul area. With the increasing rates of youth unemployment, preparing college students for their future career and guiding them in making career decision is imperative. Students' satisfaction with their major and motivation orientation were considered as influencing factors, as well as their demographic characteristics. A survey was conducted to 282 students majoring Clothing and Textiles at seven universities and 277 completed questionnaires were used for analysis. The questionnaire measured respondents' major satisfaction, motivational orientation, career decision level, and demographics (gender, age, school and department names, class standing, expected graduation date, subjective social status, and GPA). Descriptive statistics, K-means cluster analysis, one-way analysis of variance followed by Duncan multiple comparisons were conducted. The results indicated that Clothing and Textiles majors were overall satisfied with their major, but the satisfaction level was higher for female than male students. Those who were satisfied with their major were less likely to feel anxious about career decision-making. The High-Motivation group and the Intrinsic-Motivation group showed lower anxiety over career decision-making compared to Low-Motivation and Extrinsic-Motivation groups. This study has implications for college advisors in that it provides basic information on students' career decision level and the influencing factors.
Objective : In order to find the decision system in differentiation of syndromes and treatments, I paid attention to divination by Achillea sibireca. Method : I pulled out the elements of differentiation of syndromes and treatments in Zh$\bar{o}$ng y$\bar{i}$n$\grave{e}$i k$\bar{e}$ xu$\acute{e}$(中醫內科學), Uihagipmun Sanghan(醫學入門 傷寒), Donguibogam Japbyeong(東醫寶鑑 雜病) and compared them with the horoscope in The Book of Changes(周易) from the relativity of both eight principles(八綱) etc and subdivision in the entity of the cosmos (太極內 分化). Result : From this viewpoint, the decision system that has relative references in differentiation of syndromes & treatments on cold diseases(傷寒病) and complexed diseases(雜病) by eight principles etc can be compared with the decision system in divination by Achillea sibireca that the entity of the cosmos(太極) gradually can be breakdown into the positive and negative(陰陽), the positive and negative can be breakdown into four phases(四象), four phases can be breakdown into eight signs of divination(八卦), eight signs of divination can be breakdown into 64 divination signs(64卦). Conclusion : I had found that differentiation of syndromes and treatments and divination by Achillea sibireca have similarity to each other in side of decision system. Those decision systems for clinical use and telling the future has many relative references and are made of multiple structures. Clinician can easily, exactly distinguish similar syndromes of many another diseases through this way.

As Korea has approached the aging society, older Koreans have become an important force in restaurant sales today. To succeed with this silver market, it is important for restaurant managers to know who they are and what factors influence older Koreans' eating-out decision making process. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the silver consumers' education level on eating-out decision making process. Data were collected from 178 older consumers above 55 years old and analyzed using the descriptive statistic analysis, MANOVA, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the elderly consumers' education level significantly influenced the decision making process in determining where to eat out. Significant differences were found in the Problem Recognition Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.817, F=2.991), Information Search Step(Wilks' Lambda=0828, F=2.218), Alternative Evaluation Step II(Wilks' Lambda=0.741, F=3.596), Purchase Decision Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.859, F=2.223), and the Post-Purchase Behavior(Wilks' Lambda=0.885, F=1.780). The higher education level was, the more directly involved in the eating out decision process. The elderly consumers with university education were likely to 'propose to eat out by themselves'(F=9.346), to obtain restaurant information from the 'printed materials'(F=7.452), to go to 'family restaurant'(F=9.057), 'Japanese restaurant'(F=8.7891) and 'fine dining restaurants'(F=3.936), and to directly express their emotion when they had complaints about restaurant service(F=3.206). In conclusion, older Koreans will become more healthy and wealthy which means the dining out activity will be an important part of their life to socialize with people. Therefore, food service operations should consider the elderly consumers' needs and expectation of restaurant services and actively position themselves for this new market segment.
Purpose: This study is to analyse the job seeking stress, to see the relationship Between Job Seeking Stress and career decision-making self-efficacy in students of department of dental technology. Method: For this, the students of department of dental technology in daegu and daejeon and wonkwang university selected at May 2016. A question investigation was used in a entry method of self-estimation. Furthermore a total of 151 person was used as final analysis data. Statical analysis was performed with SPSS 22.0. An analysis of frequency, two sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Multiple regression was used. Results: Firstly, personal expenses affected beneficially statistically the Job Seeking Stress(p<.05). Secondly, sex, Score, Major satisfaction, personal expenses affected beneficially statistically the career decision-making self-efficacy(p<.05). Thirdly, University environment and academic stress in the Job Seeking Stress affected beneficially statistically the career decision-making self-efficacy(choice target). Conclusion: The study found out that there was significant effect when increased to university environment and academic stress in Job Seeking Stress, the career decision-making self-efficacy was decreased. So the study proved that when helping students facing difficulties due to the career decision-making self-efficacy, it is important to decreased their university environment and academic stress.
As Korea has approached the aging society, older Koreans have become an important force in restaurant sales today. To succeed with this silver market, it is important for restaurant managers to know who they are and which factor influence the older Koreans' eating-out decision making process. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the elderly consumers financial independency on restaurant selection process. Data were collected from 178 older consumers above 55 years old and analyzed using the descriptive statistic analysis, MANOVA, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the elderly consumers financial independency significantly influenced the decision making process in determining where they eat out Significant differences were found between high income group and low income group in the Problem Recognition Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.776, F=3.796), Information Search Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.779, F=2.959), Alternative Evaluation Step (I :Wilks' Lambda=0.835, F=1.748/ II :Wilks' Lambda=0.764, F=3.212), and Purchase Decision Step(Wilks' Lambda=0.849, F=2.412), except the Post-Purchase Behavior(Wilks' Lambda=0.933, F=1.179). The more financially independent older consumers were, the more directly they were involved in the eating out decision making process. Older consumers with higher income and more personal property were likely to 'propose to eat out by themselves'(F=10.986), to obtain restaurant information from the 'printed materials'(F=9.707), to consider 'convenient location' as most important factor when they eat out(F=5.594), and to go to 'family restaurant'(F=7.067), 'Japanese restaurant'(F=7.391) and 'fine dining restaurants'(F-=6.382). In conclusion, we found that the elderly consumers financial independency did influence the eating-out decision making process. Considering that older Korean will become a financially independent consumer and will be eating away from home more often, food service operations should actively position themselves for this market and develop the market-driven menus and services to meet their needs and expectations.
Purpose: The aim of this descriptive research study was to identify the factors affecting the ethical decision-making of nursing students. Methods: A convenience sample of 193 nursing students from three nursing colleges in D city who were engaged in clinical practice completed an online Google Forms questionnaire from September 9 to September 20, 2021. Using SPSS 23.0, data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, Scheffé's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: The influencing factors of ideal ethical decision-making were guilt (β=.38, p<.001), awareness of the nurses' Code of Ethics (β=.18, p=.023) and motivation for entering school, among general characteristics (β=-.18, p=.033). The explanatory power of the model was 22.2%. Further, the influencing factors of realistic ethical decision-making were ideal ethical decision-making (β=.26, p=.001) and grade (among general characteristics) (β=.15, p=.029); the explanatory power of the model was 17.9%. Conclusion: Various educational tools and programs pertaining to making ideal and ethical decisions must be enhanced to promote ethical choices in clinical areas and realistic ethical decision-making ability to actually make such choices. This focus may enable nurses to improve their nursing professionalism in the future.
Purpose : This study aims to explore nursing activities after the decision to discontinue life-sustaining treatment, awareness of a good death, and perception of life-sustaining treatment decisions among nurses in intensive care units (ICUs) at tertiary general hospitals. Methods : Participants were 173 nurses working in two tertiary general hospitals. The data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using an independent t-test, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé's test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results : Participants were 173 nurses working in two tertiary hospitals. The nursing activity increase was the greatest in the spiritual domain, and the physical domain was where the activities decreased the most. There were significant associations between Awareness of good death (Clinical) and Perception of life-sustaining treatment decision(r=.26, p <.001), Awareness of good death (Closure) and Perception of life-sustaining treatment decision(r=.36, p <.001), and Awareness of good death (Personal control) and Perception of life-sustaining treatment decision(r=.49, p <.001). Conclusion : Based on the results, systematic education programs and job training are required to improve the awareness regarding good death and perception of life-sustaining treatment decision for nurses in ICUs where discontinuing life-sustaining treatment decisions are made.
The empirical Bayes version involves ″independent″ repetitions(a sequence) of the component decision problem. With the varying sample size possible, these are not identical components. However, we impose the usual assumption that the parameters sequence $\theta$=($\theta$$_1$, $\theta$$_2$, …) consists of independent G-distributed parameters where G is unknown. We assume that G $\in$ g, a known family of distributions. The sample size $N_i$ and the decisin rule $d_i$ for component i of the sequence are determined in an evolutionary way. The sample size $N_1$ and the decision rule $d_1$$\in$$D_{N1}$ used in the first component are fixed and chosen in advance. The sample size $N_2$and the decision rule $d_2$ are functions of *see full text($\underline{X}^1$equation omitted), the observations in the first component. In general, $N_i$ is an integer-valued function of *see full text(equation omitted) and, given $N_i$, $d_i$ is a $D_{Ni}$/-valued function of *see full text(equation omitted). The action chosen in the i-th component is *(equation omitted) which hides the display of dependence on *(equation omitted). We construct an empirical Bayes decision rule for estimating normal mean and show that it is asymptotically optimal.
