대학생의 의식구조가 자원봉사활동에 미치는 영향 (The Study on the Impact of Identity of College Students on the Participation of the Voluntary Social Activity -Focusing on Self-Esteem, Morality and Social Welfare Ideology-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of social voluntary activity on the identity of women's college students. universities are functionally constituted by teaching, researching and social service. Data for analysis are collected 439 students at K women's college in other to examine research questions, t-test and regression test. The results of this analysis are as follows : First, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the college students who had ever experienced social voluntary activity and who had not. Second, The personal characteristics did not give an impact, but their satisfaction was under the influence of institutional support for supervision and altitude of themselves for social service, which were part of the institution characteristics. Third, The social service effectiveness was not affected by the personal characteristics, except influenced by the instituitional characteristits such as degree of compensation an influence on self-esteem. also social welfare and morality were not affected. Fourth, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the impact of service satisfaction on service effectiveness.

간호대학생의 희망, 감사성향이 영성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Hope and Gratitude on Spirituality among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the factors affecting spirituality in nursing students. Method: A total of 247 nursing students participated in the study. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple stepwise regression via SPSS WIN 18.0. Results: The mean scores for hope, gratitude, and spirituality were above-average. However, there were significant mean differences in spirituality according to religion, religious activity, voluntary service, satisfaction with the nursing field, and motivation for entering a college of nursing. Spirituality positively correlated with hope and gratitude. Significant predictors of spirituality included hope, gratitude, voluntary service and religious activity. The regression model explained 51.3% of perceived spirituality. Conclusion: To improve spirituality among nursing students, nursing educators should develop educational intervention programs to promote hope and gratitude, and support participation in voluntary service and religious activity.

사회봉사 교과목 수강전후 간호학생들의 자아실현 비교연구 (A Study on the Changing in Self-actualization of Nursing College Students after a Voluntary Program)

  • The Effect of Curriculum with voluntary program on Self-Actualization in Nursing Students. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of the voluntary program experience with curriculum on self-actualization in nursing college students and to guide the desirable voluntary activity of college students. The research design utilized in this study was one group pretest-posttest design. The data were gathered two times with self-actualization test. First data were gathered before voluntary activity. And second data were gathered after instruction and five times voluntary activity. The data were analized by frequency, t-test, paired t-test and ANOVA using the SAS program. The results were as follows: The scores of self-actualization in nursing students belonged to normal range. Before voluntary activity, the scores were significantly higher than standardized group in Nature of Man, Constructive Scale (P<.001), and the scores were significantly lower than standardized group in Feeling Reactivity Scale(P<.05) and Capacity for Intimate Construct Sscale (P<.001). After the activity the scores were significantly higher than standardized group in Self Actualizing Values Scale(P<.001), Existentiality (P<.01), Spontaneity Scale (P<.001). Self Acceptance Scale(P<.05) and Nature of Man, Constructive Scale (P<.001). After the activity the scores were significantly increased more than before the activity in Inner Directed Scale (P<.001). Self Actualizing Values Scale (P<.001), Feeling Reactivity Scale (P<.001), Capacity for Intimate Construct Sscale (P<.001). Spontaneity Scale (P<.01), Time Competent Scale (P<.05) and Existentiality (P<.05). And the scores were not significantly increased more than before the activity in Self Regard Scale, Self Acceptance Scale and Nature of Man, Constructive Scale. The results of this study showed that voluntary activities were effective self-actualization. So, it is thought that voluntary program is necessary in the curriculum for nursing college students. This study suggests as follows : 1) It is necessary to inspect the self-actualization test after various experience of voluntary activity in college students. 2) It is necessary to grope the plans to activate the social service programs. 3) It is necessary to study continious and voluntary social service of college students.

  • This research evaluated the present condition of the family voluntary service group and healthy family campaign, which was being carried out as one of the healthy family culture businesses of the Healthy Family-Support Center. Furthermore, it suggests ways to improve these business activities. Research centered on the analysis of business documents created between December 2006 and November 2007. The results were as follows. First, the family voluntary service group and the healthy family campaign business in the Center must be able to have specificity or individuality. Second, the Center must manage the scale, frequency, and contents of the businesses systematically. Third, the businesses must concern themselves with family life in general, make better use of the advisory committee or steering committee, concern variety of business performing system.

노인의 자원봉사활동 참여와 건강관련 삶의 질과의 관련성 (The Relations between Participation in Voluntary Service Activity and Health-Related Quality of life among the Elderly)

  • 노인의 자원봉사활동의 참여와 건강관련 삶의 질의 관계를 규명하기 위하여 65세 이상 남녀노인 318명을 대상으로 2012년 5월 1일부터 6월 30일까지 질문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였고, 다중선형회귀분석을 실시하였다. 노인 중 자원봉사활동에 참여하고 있는 경우는 48.1%였으며, 자원봉사활동에 참여하고 있는 노인이 참여하지 않은 노인에 비해 건강관련 삶의 질이 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 본 연구결과, 자원봉사활동 참여가 노인의 건강관련 삶의 질에 긍정적 영향을 줄 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 향후 노인의 자원봉사활동 참여를 확대시킬 수 있는 방안과 이에 대한 효과검증을 위한 연구수행이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

청소년의 자원봉사활동이 노인 인식에 미치는 영향 (The influences of Adolescent’s Volunteer Service Activity on Perception toward the Elderly)

  • The propose of this study was to investigate the influences of adolescent’s volunteer service activity on perception toward the elderly. The subjects of this study were 556 students who were selected at random from the second grade of high school in the city of Daegu. A questionnaire was used as survey method. Factor analysis and ANOVA were employed for data analysis and Scheffe test for post-hoc analysis. The main findings were as follow: First Adolescent’s perception toward the elderly was hardly different according to the adolescent’s overall volunteer service activity. The participation attitude, the whole participation time, and the voluntary participation time of the adolescent’s overall volunteer service activity had no effect on the adolescent’s perception toward the elderly. But adolescents who were high in the degree of the participation satisfaction with overall volunteer service activities had a more positive perception on social aspect of the elderly than those who were low in it. Second, adolescent’s who participated in volunteer service activities for the elderly showed a noticeable difference in their perception toward the elderly. adolescents who participated in volunteer service activities for the elderly, those who had a enthusiastic participation attitude over volunteer service activities for the elderly had a more positive perception of the family-relationship and social aspects of the elderly than those who had a passive participation attitude in it. Futhermore, adolescents who were high in the degree of the participation satisfaction over volunteer service activities for the elderly had a more positive perception of the family-relational and social aspect of the elderly that those who were low in it. Also adolescents, who spent a lot of time in whole and voluntary participation over volunteer service activities for the elderly, had a more positive perception of the social aspect of the elderly than those who spentless time.

과학교사의 해외 교육봉사활동 참여 의의와 어려움 탐색 (An Exploration of the Experience and Difficulties of Science Teachers' Participation in Overseas Educational Voluntary Activity)

  • 이 연구는 해외 교육봉사활동에 참여한 과학교사의 참여 의의와 어려움을 탐색하였다. 동티모르에 방문한 경험이 있는 과학교사 7명이 연구에 참여하였다. 교사의 면담 결과를 포함하여 수집한 모든 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 교사들은 사회적 역할을 수행하고 동티모르 관계자의 기대에 부응하기 위해 동티모르에 방문하였다. 교사들은 동티모르에서 돌아온 후 교사로서 수업에 대한 열정을 되찾고 새로운 일에 도전하는 데 자신감을 가지게 되었다. 동티모르 봉사 경험은 교사들이 협력의 중요성과 교육의 필요성에 대해 생각해볼 수 있도록 하였다. 동티모르에 방문하는 동안, 교사들은 불안정한 사회적 상황과 세미나에 대한 동티모르 교사들의 인식 부족으로 세미나 진행에 어려움을 겪었으며, 언어적 문제로 인한 소통의 한계를 경험하였다. 그럼에도 교사들은 사제와 협력하여 이러한 한계를 개선하고자 노력하였다. 또한 교사들은 교육과정의 미구축으로 인해 나타나는 한계를 평가회를 통해 보완해 나갔다. 동티모르 교사의 수업 전문성 향상과 주체적 참여를 촉진하기 위해 세미나 진행 방식을 수정하기도 하였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 해외 자원봉사활동 활성화 방안을 논의하였다.

노인의 자원봉사활동 만족도와 삶의 의미 (Relationship between Satisfaction of Volunteering and Meaning in Life of the Elderly - based on Hospital Voluntary Activity -)

  • Purpose: This study was attempted to investigate the relationship between the satisfaction of volunteering and the meaning in life of the elderly. Method: The subjects were 176 who had been volunteering in 7 general hospitals. in a metropolitan city, Korea. The data were gathered throughout August 2004. For measuring the satisfaction of volunteering, Kwon(1999) was modified and used, and for the meaning in life, Choi et al.(2003) was used. Result: Mean of the volunteering satisfaction was 3.00(Maximum, 4.00) and the highest domain was Social Contact and the lowest was Social Exchange. Mean of meaning in life was 3.02 (Maximum, 4.00) and the highest score was Family love and the lowest was Self Awareness & Self-Acceptance. Volunteering satisfaction was significantly different in age, religion, number of children and voluntary service time, and the meaning in life was different in religion, number of children, subjective health condition, subjective family relationship, and voluntary service time. Conclusion: There was positive correlation between volunteering satisfaction and meaning in life (r=.69 p=.000). According to the result, the satisfaction of volunteering could be make better meaning in life of the elderly. In order to increase the meaning in life and to improve volunteering satisfaction of the elderly, various social and personal efforts to participate in social service are would be adopted.

간호대학생의 융·복합 사회봉사활동과 직업가치관, 자아존중감, 사회성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Convergence Social Voluntary Service Activity and Sense of Profession Values, Self-Esteem, Sociality in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 사회봉사활동에 따른 간호대학생의 직업가치관, 자아존중감, 사회성 정도와 관련성을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이며, 대상자는 간호대학생 535명이다. 연구결과 일반적 특성에 따른 직업가치관은 종교(F=4.79, p=.003)와 전공(F=3.75, p=.011), 자아존중감은 학년(F=4.84, p=.002)에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였고, 사회성은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 사회봉사활동 특성에 따른 직업가치관은 봉사 시간(F=18.70, p<.001), 봉사 기간(F=18.87, p<.001), 봉사 기관(F=3.41, p=.001), 봉사 동기(F=8.08, p<.001), 참여 경로(F=3.63, p=.002), 참여분야(F=2.13, p=.031)에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 상관관계 결과 직업가치관은 자아존중감(r=.247, p<.01)과 사회성(r=.248, p<.01)에서, 자아존중감은 사회성(r=.327, p<.01)과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다.
