HAUSDORFF DIMENSION OF DERANGED CANTOR SET WITHOUT SOME BOUNDEDNESS CONDITION

  • A deranged Cantor set (without the uniform bounded-ness condition away from zero of contraction ratios) whose weak local dimensions for all points coincide has its Hausdorff dimension of the same value of weak local dimension. We will show it using an energy theory instead of Frostman's density lemma which was used for the case of the deranged Cantor set with the uniform boundedness condition of contraction ratios. In the end, we will give an example of such a deranged Cantor set.

  • A set D ⊆ V (G) is an independent transversal dominating set of G if D is a dominating set and also intersects every maximum independent set in G. The minimum cardinality of such a set is equal to the transversal domination number, denoted by ��it(G). This paper is devoted to the computation of the independent transversal domination number of some complementary prism.

  • Intuitionistic Zermelo-Fraenkel (IZF) set theory is a set theory without the axiom of choice and the law of excluded middle (LEM). The weak excluded middle law (WEM) states that ¬𝜑∨¬¬𝜑 for any formula 𝜑. In IZF we show that LEM is equivalent to WEM plus the condition that any set not equal to the empty set has an element.

  • A semi-well ordered set is a partially ordered set in which every non-empty subset of it contains a least element or a greatest element. It is defined as an extension of the concept of well ordered sets. An attempt is made to identify the properties of a semi-well ordered set equipped with the order topology.

  • Single-electron transistor (SET)-based logic cells and SET/FET hybrid integrated circuits have been fabricated on SOI chips. The input-output voltage transfer characteristic of the SET-based complementary logic cell shows an inverting behavior where the output voltage gain is estimated to be about 1.2 at 4.2K. The SET/FET output driver, consisting of one SET and three FETs, yields a high voltage gain of 13 and power amplification with a wide-range output window for driving next circuit. Finally, the SET/FET literal gate for a multi-valued logic cell, comprising of an SET, an FET and a constant-current load, displays a periodic voltage output of high/low level multiple switching with a swing as high as 200mV. The multiple switching functionality of all the fabricated logic circuits could be enhanced by utilizing a side gate incorporated to each SET component to enable the phase control of Coulomb oscillations, which is one of the unique characteristics of the SET-based logic circuits.

  • We compare a self-similar measure on a self-similar Cantor set with a quasi-self-similar measure on a deranged Cantor set. Further we study some properties of a self-similar measure on a self-similar Cantor set.

On Normalized Tight Frame Wavelet Sets

  • We determine two-interval normalized tight frame wavelet sets for real dilation $d{\in}(1,{\infty})$, and characterize all symmetric normalized tight frame wavelet sets. We also construct a normalized tight frame wavelet set which has an infinite number of components accumulating at the origin. These normalized tight frame wavelet sets and their closures possess the same measure. Finally an example of a normalized tight frame wavelet set is provided whose measure is strictly less than the measure of its closure.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of Wijsman invariant statistical, Wijsman deferred invariant statistical and Wijsman strongly deferred invariant convergence of order 𝜂 (0 < 𝜂 ≤ 1) for set sequences. Also, we investigate some properties of these concepts and some relationships between them.

Disulfide 가교 견섬유의 Set 성 (Setting Properties of Disulfide-Crosslinked Silk Fiber)

  • The reaction of silk with a disulfide-containing crosslinking agent, i.e. bis($\beta$-isocyanatoethyl)disulfide(BIED), was studied in an attempt to obtain disulfide-crosslinked silk. The setting properties of disulfide-crosslinked silk fibers were studied. The permanent set values of single fibers were evaluated after the set fibers were relaxed in boiling water. When single fibers were set in boiling water or in boiling alkaline solution, the permanent set values of BIED-treated silk fibers were less than those of untreated silk fibers. When the fibers were treated with 2% thioglycolic acid solution at $60^\circ{C}$ followed by oxidation, settability of BIED-treated silk was better than that of untreated silk. The rearrangement of secondary bonds faciliated by cleavage of crosslinks as well as the rearrangement of crosslinks itself seems to be an important role in the set stability.
