The purpose of this research is to analyze priority of the elderly user interface (UI) evaluation criteria based on user's lifestyle. Since the elderly population will occupy over 20% of the all Korean population in the near future, we need to know older users' needs and information because elderly users will be main customers in the super-aged society. This paper investigated the definition of elderly users and characteristics demographically, socio-economically, and physically/cognitively. A total of 238 questionnaires from older users were analyzed based on a segmentation table for the elderly developed by the previous study. According to factor analysis and cluster analysis, 6 types of lifestyle and 4 groups of the elderly users were classified, respectively. The priority of UI evaluation criteria for large electronic home appliances and mobile products was analyzed by analyses of variance (ANOVAs). The results indicated that the priority of (physical, emotional, and cognitive) UI criteria was significantly different among elderly users' lifestyles for both home appliances and mobile products. Consequently, the results of this study may help the company develop some competitive silver products and give higher satisfaction to the elderly users by suggesting different priority of UI evaluation criteria according to the target elderly group. The results may also contribute to revitalize national economy by significantly increasing senior market shares.

In recent years, the problem of spectrum mobility in Cognitive Radio (CR) Networks has been widely investigated. In order to utilize spectrum resources completely, many spectrum handoff techniques based on game theory have been proposed, but most studies only concern that users how to achieve better payoffs, without much attention to the diverse needs of users. In this paper, we propose a new channel-switching model based on game theory, using a prioritized approach to meet the diverse needs of users in two different modes (CQ and PS). At the same time, this paper proposes some acceleration techniques to reach the Nash equilibrium more efficiently. We evaluate the performance of the proposed schemes depending on priority using real channel availability measurements, and conclude that the channel quality function (CQ) mode provide better service for priority user but the plan-sorting (PS) mode can be more suitable in multiple priority users exist scene.
The effort for GSI based IT system consolidation has been continued due to the increase of the system and complication increase of system connection, mainly by the global company. Since successful example of GSI realization by part of developed company affect to Korea, global level IT system consolidation has been examined mainly by the domestic company that have great deal of overseas business. Although they have examined consolidation possibility mainly on R&D, finance, operation management part which is the base part of company management, there are limitation for consolidation realization because of the difference between regional business problem of huge cost needed for consolidation. To overcome these realization limitations, it is necessary to lead risk and cost reduction through stepwise part unity and decide Priority Evaluation Framework for Consolidation target and systematic consolidation strategy. For GSI realization, appropriate distributions of unification time according to target system are needed. In this study, based on easiness and usefulness of consolidation and connection between the targets, evaluation methodology for Priority Evaluation Framework of system consolidation has been developed. Priority Evaluation Framework has been decided by applying developed methodology to global production company of high tech industrial part. Through this methodology, companies can realize successful and stable GSI by investing global resources intensively by Priority Evaluation Framework of consolidation target system.

The foundation fieldbus(FF) is one of the fieldbuses most widely used for process control and automation, In order for system designer to optimize medium management, it is imperative to predict transmission delay time of data. In a former research, mathematical modeling to analyze transmission delay of FF token-passing system has been developed based on the assumption that a device node has only one priority data(1Q model), From 1Q model, all of the device nodes, which are connected on the FF system, are defined priority level in advance, and as system operates, data are generated based on given priority level. However, in practice, some non-periodic data can have different priority levels from one device. Therefore, new mathematical model is necessary for the case where different priority levels of data are created under one device node(2Q model). In this research, the mathematical model for 2Q model is developed using the equivalent queue model. Furthermore, the characteristics of transmission delay of 2Q model which is presented in this paper were compared with 1Q model. The validity of the analytical model was verified by using a simulation experiment.
This paper proposes the number of Optical Network Unit (ONU) based priority scheduling mechanism over Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) to support multicast Quality of Service (QoS) for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service. Multicast QoS is effected by the receivers' number of a packet because multicast efficiency is determined by how many receivers are received multiple copied packets. Therefore, the proposed mechanism assigns a priority with the number of ONUs to allocate high priority to IPTV services used by many people and firstly transmits a packet with high priority. By doing so, we show that the proposed mechanism support favorite IPTV services with better and stable QoS in spite of congestion.
The purpose of this paper is to find out the relative priority among the queueing products for next operation. Critical ratio scheduling is a technique for use in production scheduling to establish and maintain relative priority among the jobs. The relative priority is based on a ratio of when the completed job is required and how much time is required to complete it. A numerical example of "D" company is solved. Jobs are classified into 3 categories; the behind scheduling jobs, the on time jobs and the ahead scheduling jobs.

Currently used DLC(Direct Load Control) algorithm is only focused on ON/OFF load control not concerning about reliving participated customer's inconvenience and load priority. Therefore, that is a major obstacle to attract customer participating in demand response program. To overcome the above defects, the authors represent direct load control algorithm using priority based dynamic programming. the proposed algorithm is that participant customer send E-mail to DLC center about priority of load before executing DLC, then DLC algorithm decide which load to be OFF by using priority and off time constraint of the load. By using dynamic programming based on the order of priority for DLC algorithm it is possible to maximize participating customer's satisfaction and it will help to attract more customer's participating in demand response program.
The priority of requirement is important because the priority is a critical activity of release plan especially in software development which has an open market customer. Also, it is important for stakeholders to select a method and aspects to prioritize requirements. The selection is based on the organizational experience of a priority process, the process model of the product, goals and a type of products, and dependencies between requirements. But, the current researches considered only static dependency between requirements and did not suggest a systematic priority process. In addition, the current researches only suggest limited aspects to prioritize requirements, such as cost and value. Therefore, this paper proposes an adjustable priority process based on a priority model to select a method and aspects for the suitable priority for product and organization. Especially, this paper enhances the completeness of a release plan by a definition of static and dynamic dependency types between requirements. This paper suggests a priority model, which considers the dependencies between requirement and various viewpoint of software development. Based on the priority model, the paper suggests a systematic priority process to promote reasonable decisions to the priority and release plan of requirement.
The purpose of this research is to implement and develop the Economic Cost Driver Size(ECDS) extended model to determine the optimal cash driver size with measurement complexity cost and allocation fail cost. ECDS model can be used to seek both measurement accuracy and time efficiency of the Activity-Base Costing (ABC). The study also develops Activity Priority Number (APN) to evaluate the importance of nonvalue-added activities improvement and to determine the representative cost driver of value-added activities when applying ECDS model. APN consists of Severity Priority Number (SPN), Undetectablitiy Priority Number (UPN) and Occurrence Priority Number (OPN). APN can be obtained from lower-stream activity, current activity, upper-stream activity in terms of hierarchical dependency of SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, and Customer). In order to seek both efficiency of invested capital and reduction of overhead cost, the paper proposes the integrated ABC and Economic Value Added (EVA) model using redesigned ABC-based statement of comprehensive income and EVA-based statement of financial position. For a better understanding of the proposed ABC-EVA integrated model, numerical examples are demonstrated in this paper. Cost drivers of ABC and capital drivers of EVA in the proposed model can be used to reduce activity overhead cost from ABC-based statement of comprehensive income and to lessen activity capital charge from EVA-based statement of financial position.

The purpose of this study is to present a new energy minimization method for image completion with hierarchical approach. The goal of image completion is to fill in missing part in a possibly large region of an image so that a visually plausible outcome is obtained. An exemplar-based Markov Random Field Modeling(MRF) is proposed in this paper. This model can deal with following problems; detection of global features, flexibility on environmental changes, reduction of computational cost, and generic extension to other related domains such as image inpainting. We use the Priority Belief Propagation(Priority-BP) which is a kind of Belief propagation(BP) algorithms for the optimization of MRF. We propose the hierarchical Priority-BP that reduces the number of nodes in MRF and to apply hierarchical propagation of messages for image completion. We show that our approach which uses hierarchical Priority-BP algorithm in image completion works well on a number of examples.
