The project to improve the structure of village has been conducted in order to improve the residential environment since 1960's. Also, with the rural exodus and the aged population in a rural area during the rapid change of social structure in our country, the old people's problem in a rural area became a problem beyond the welfare of the old age. Moreover, as the role of old people who established their position as the subject of social & economic activities in a rural area gradually increases, an attention to problems related on old people also increases. Especially, the leisure life of old people can be an important factor on the type of leisure life of old people in a cultural village and the demands for facilities for old people by studying the present situation of facilities for old people and the actual situation of their use in a welfare center.

The preliminary Korean Paternal Involvement Scale of 84 items was constructed from items collected from free-response surveys with 106 middle school students and 33 fathers followed by consultation with experts. Those items were tested on a sample of 339 middle school students. The 82 items selected through item analysis were analyzed by factor analysis. Of these, 54 items were categorized into seven factors : leisure-life, proffering information, discipline, academic support, tradition-inheritance, material support, and everyday life. Leisure-life, proffering information, and academic support correlated with grade level of adolescents and fathers' education. The alpha coefficients of this scale ranged from .68 to .90.

Leisure motivation is an important concept in the study of leisure behavior. The purpose of this study was to examine visitors' motivations for hot spring resorts in Korea. The data were collected by questionnaires survey in three hot spring resorts in 1994:Suanbo, Paikam, and Chuksan. The findings of this study are summarized as follows: The eight motivation factors extracted by factor analysis such as; 1)"intellectual needs", 2)'escaping everyday life', 3)'closing nature', 4)'recognition or status', 5)'interaction with others', 6)'health', 7)'family vacation', 8)'hot spring bathing'. The three resorts showed significant deferences in the motivation of visitors. Visitors of Suanbo have high motivation for 'intellectual needs', 'interaction with others', and 'thealth', and visitors of Chuksan for 'closing nature', 'family vacation', and 'hot spring bathing'. This study has proved first, psychological(pushing) factors are more important than pulling factors of resorts, second, in pulling factors, natural sceneries were more important than medicinal properties of the hot springs. And this study found several important implications for predicting visitors' demand in hot spring resorts.

This study is to identify the relationship among work-life balance and turnover intention of nurses and examine the influence of work-family balance, work-leisure balance, work-grow balance on turnover intention of nurses. Data were collected from nurses working at five hospitals with more than 30 beds in Seoul and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using Jamovi(1.6.23) program. The final sample were made up of 247 participants. In the correlation analysis, work-life balance and turnover intention showed negative correlation. As a result of multiple regression analysis, work-grow balance affected as a meaningful influence factor on turnover intention. It is necessary to carefully examine the sub-factors of work-life balance in order to understand the impact on turnover intention of nurses. And, hospitals need to provide organizational support for nurses' growth and career development.

The purpose of the research is to investigate the possibility of the tourism resources development preference of sport leisure event activity of participation as one use MDS and clustering market character. An empirical research has been undertaken the questionnaire had be distributed to the whole country inline marathon races participation and there were 330 responses. The research was conducted by using statistical packages of SPSS program. As research methods factor analysis and cluster analysis were also employed. Three distinct cluster groups were categorized by their characteristics: 'money acquirement participation', 'self realization moderators', 'self realization enthusiasts', and there was differences among segmented groups in terms of their affecting factors to the tourism resources development preference. These findings suggested that there were need to tourism resources development for different segmented groups of sports leisure event activity selection attributes and each group pursued different satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of elderly sports activities participation motivation on Leisure Satisfaction The participants were from elderly who the daily sports program. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed from Sep. 1 to Oct. 31, 2018 and, after excluding 53 questionnaires that had missed or inappropriate answers thus low reliability, 197 questionnaires were included in effective sample. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 21 and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis were performed. The results, based on them, are as follows: First, Among the motivations for participating in the elderly sports activities, internal motivation influenced psychological satisfaction, educational satisfaction, psychological satisfaction. Second. external motive influenced social satisfaction, resting satisfaction. Third. amotivation influenced psychological satisfaction, educational satisfaction, resting satisfaction, environmental satisfaction.

This study analyzed the relationship between supervision and job commitment of the elderly leisure welfare center employees and the mediating effect of professionalism perception. The survey was conducted of 267 employees in 15 facilities located in Daejeon and Chungnam. The main methods were confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis using SPSS and AMOS. The analysis results showed that the relationship between supervision and job commitment and the mediating effect of professionalism perception were verified. For activating the supervision, it is necessary to strengthen the educational supervision, systematize the supervision, and strengthen the supervisor education. To raise the professionalism perception, programs such as awards for outstanding manpower, social support, and employee education considering clients are needed. It is expected that studies on various variables for human resource management including job commitment for elderly leisure facility employees will be continued.

This study is to analyze the preference of experiential activities and behavioral intention on rural tourism, with special focus on parents group of elementary students. The result can be utilized as basic data for demanding aspect of rural experiencing tourism. Two-step questionnaire survey was conducted, during May to July, 2915. Sample group was selected at 4 elementary school in Daegu city. 347 valid responses were analyzed with SPSS. Major results are as follows. Firstly, suggested model for 23 experiential activities in 7 types, were verified as valid by verifying factor analysis. Factor 1 was verified and named as 'Rual Life Experience', Factor 2 was verified and named as 'Health/Healing Experience', Factor 3, as 'Agricultural Product Experience', Factor 4, as 'Eco-Cultural Experience', Factor 5, as 'Leisure/Sports Experience', Factor 6, as 'Traditional Wellbeing Food Experience', and Factor 7, as 'Traditional Culture Experience'. All 7 factors explained 75.39% of total variance. Secondly, mean score of preference by each activity showed high in 'Health-care experience', 'Traditional food experience' and comparatively low in 'Collecting experience', 'Agricultural experience'. Thirdly, all 7 types(factors) of experience showed significant affecting relation to satisfaction, intention to participation and recommendation. Specially, 'Eco-Cultural Experience' and 'Rural Life Experience' showed high affecting relation. This could be the characteristics of parents group of elementary students.

This study is on the elderly people's use and experience of pet robots (companion robots). Applying companion robots for the elderly's daily lives can enhance their quality of life. Leisure is main activity of the elderly who are out of work. Therefore, the quality and diversity of leisure can affect the quality of their life. Companion Robots could provide them with more advanced and interesting experiences. Around the world, population aging becomes one of the most important trends in each country. The social and economic burden of aging is serious challenge on sustainability of the world, including S. Korea. The authors examine use of Companion Robots for elderly (from 50 years old to 90 years old). In this experiment, the authors study and measure many factors including system quality, interface quality, displeasure, enjoyment, willingness to reuse, perception on new technology. In regression analysis, intimacy(t=-2.006, p<.05) is significant factor on displeasure of Companion Robot. In another regression, displeasure of Companion Robot (independent variable) is significant factor on enjoyment(t=-3.327, p<.01) and willingness to reuse(t=-2.636, p<.01). Therefore, when elderly one feels less displeasure of Companion Robot, he/she feels more enjoyment and willingness to reuse. As a result, the elderly who don't familiar to new technology could improve quality of life and leisure activity by using companion robot.
