본 연구는 전래동화를 이용하여 유아의 공평성 추론 향상 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초자료를 수집하기 위하여 수행되었다. 전래동화는 유아교육의 중요매체이며, 부모와 유아교사는 유아에게 전래동화를 선택하고 들려줌으로써 유아에게 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 따라서 유아의 부모와 유아교사가 공평성을 다룬 전래동화에 대해 어떻게 평가하는 지를 파악하고자 하였다. 240명의 부모와 78명의 유아교사를 대상으로 6편의 공평성을 다룬 전래동화에 대한 평가를 조사한 결과, 일부 공평성을 다룬 전래동화에 대해 유아에게 유익한지와 가치관형성에 적합한지에 대해서 부모의 평가가 유아교사의 평가보다 높았지만, 전반적으로는 부모와 유아교사의 공평성을 다룬 전래동화에 대한 평가가 일치하는 편이었다. 이는 공평성을 다룬 전래동화가 유아의 공평성 추론 향상 프로그램에 사용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the traditional fairy tales based program on the improvement of preschoolers level of distributive justice reasoning. The program was developed on the six Korean fairy tales which deal with the sharing problem among the friends and the families. The subjects were seventy-six, 4- and 5-year-old children selected from two kindergartens in Seoul and Ichon. Solomon 4-group experimental design was used. Each children were assigned for 2 experimental groups and for 2 control groups. Before the intervention, the subjects in experimental group 1 and control group 1 were interviewed individually with story dilemmas for their distributive justice reasoning. For eight-week period, the program based on six Korean traditional fairy tales were used as an intervention. After the intervention, all the subjects were interviewed individually with another story dilemmas. The data were analyzed in SPSS Win 10.0 program, by frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, paired t-test and independent t-test. As a result, the children in experimental groups had higher level of distributive justice reasoning than those in control groups. That is, program based on the traditional fairy tales gave positive effect on preschoolers distributive justice reasoning.

Clothing socialization analyzed of seven categories-norm, role, self-identity, morality, institution, social class and social change, From the costume in the Korean fairy tales, clothing socialization can be visualized.

This research analyzed the effect of activity-centered reading band on Korean fairy tales on children's reading attitude and comprehension. The reading altitude of the experimental-group children exhibited more meaningful change in such subordinate areas as academic reading attitude. The academic reading attitude of the male experimental-group had higher improvement than that of the female experimental-group. In addition, the reading comprehension scores of the experimental-group children were higher than those of the control-group children. The reading program effects on reading comprehension were more meaningful in girls in the experimental group than boys in the group. Therefore, the results of this study have demonstrated the necessity of the development and application of a Korean fairy tales program for reading and an activity-centered reading program.

The present study examined effects of human rights education activities using bullying fairy tales on young children's human rights attitudes and self-esteem. The subjects of the study were a total of 40 five years old. children. Twenty of children were assigned to an experimental group and the other 20 children were assigned to a control group. The experimental group participated in human rights education activities using bullying fairy tales 21 times, 3 times a week for 7 weeks and the control group participated in Nurui curriculum activities during the same periods.. The study results indicated that the experimental group showed more improvement in their human rights attitudes and self-esteem than the control group. Therefore human rights education activities using the bullying fairy tales used in this study might be an effective educational mothod to enhence young children's human rights attitudes and self-esteem.

This study investigated illustrated Koran fairy tales as material for teaching kindergarten science. The 64 books selected for this study were analyzed by the standards set forth in the Exploring Life segment of the 5th Revision of Kindergarten Teaching Procedures (1993). The story-structure strategy was based on the structural pattern suggested by Moen(1991). Results showed that the structural elements of the illustrated fairy tales could be classified into 7 categories and 8 types of content patterns. After validating the adaptability of the fairy tales for use in teaching Kindergarten science, the books were cataloged by type and category.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of traditional fairy tales verbal expression education on 3-year-old children's social skills. The subjects of this study were 50 3-year-old children at four different private daycare centers in the Kyungnam province. 25 preschoolers were selected as an experimental group, and the others were selected as a control group. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS by t- test, MANOVA and ANOVA. The findings of the study were as follows: First, differences between the experimental group and the control group in social skills were significant. There were differences between the experimental group and the control group in problem solving and self-confidence. There was no difference in emotional expression and sense of order. Second, the Cohen's effect size shows that traditional fairy tales verbal expression education effects children's problem solving and self-confidence.

This study explored the sandplay therapy case of an elementary school-aged girl living in a home in which there exist severe conflicts between her mother and older brother. This study focused heavily on fairy tales. The goal of the therapy was to encourage appropriate adjustments with the girl's situation within the free and protected space of sandplay therapy. Forty-four therapy sessions were held. The client exhibited evidence of feelings of being abandoned and of becoming lethargic in the initial phase of therapy (1~10, forsakenness/sleeping family). In the intermediate phase of therapy (11~38, regression, opposition and purification/growth), as she displayed signs of regression, princess play, the opposition of goodness and badness and purification, she grew psychologically. In the final phase of therapy (39~44, redemption/rebirth of new consciousness), she was redeemed and reborn with a new sense of consciousness. Using sandplay therapy in a free and protected space, this study showed the various motives of fairy tales in the psyche of a pre-adolescence girl and the effectiveness of sandplay therapy.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of traditional fairy tales on the basic understanding of economics and numbers for 4 year old preschoolers. The subjects were 20 children at one education center located in Seoul: Among them, 10 were in the experimental group and 10 were in the control group, based on random selection. The program for economic education was conducted for eight weeks; two times each week for the experimental group, while a general curriculum was conducted with several traditional fairy tale books related to economic education were given to the control group. The preschoolers' basic understanding of economics and numbers was examined using the scales of Park(2008) and Choi(2003). Collected data was analyzed by t-test and ANCOVA using SPSS 17.0 program. The results were as follows: there were significant differences in the understanding of economics and numbers according to economic education based on traditional fairy tales respectively. In conclusion, it is necessary to conduct a scientific study in order to develop an economic education program. Also, various activities were discussed to use the economic program for preschoolers.

본 연구는 인성이 포함된 그림책 활동이 유아의 또래유능성 및 공격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 I시에 위치한 유치원 2곳에 재원 중인 만 5세 남녀유아 총 41명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 실험 집단에게는 6주 기간 매주 2회씩 30분 동안 동화를 듣고 인성교육과 관련된 활동을 제공하였고, 비교집단에게는 일반적인 일과운영을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 공변량 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험 집단이 비교집단보다 또래유능성이 유의하게 높았으며, 공격성은 낮아졌다. 이러한 결과는 동화를 활용한 인성교육활동이 유아의 또래 유능성과 공격성에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다.
