수술실 간호사의 언어폭력경험, 사회적 지지, 대처양상이 업무 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Verbal Violence Experience, Social Support, and Coping Patterns on Job Stress among Operating Room Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the effects of verbal violence experience, social support, and coping patterns on job stress among operating room(OR) nurses. Methods: The participants were 214 operating room nurses in general hospitals. Data were collected from April 1st to May 1st in 2013 and were analyzed using a multiple regression. Results: The most influencing factor on job stress for OR nurses was verbal violence experience from doctor(${\beta}=.35$), and verbal violence experience from nurse (${\beta}=.27$) followed. Social support from co-workers was a significant factor in decreasing job stress (${\beta}=-.22$). Those three factors explained 43.0% (F=54.76, p<.001) of OR nurses' job stress. Conclusion: The findings of this study revealed that doctors' and nurses' verbal violence increased job stress of OR nurses and social support from co-workers was found decreasing OR nurses' job stress. The results of the study provides an necessity for developing an effective program for minimizing job stress of OR nurses caused by work place verbal violence.

COVID-19 관련 업무 경험이 간호사의 직무 스트레스에 주는 영향 (Influence of COVID-19-related Nursing Experience on Job Stress of Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare and analyze the job stress of nurses with and without in COVID-19-related work. Methods: A structured self-reported questionnaire survey was conducted to assess job stress. The extent of job stress was compared between nurses with COVID-19 (COVID-19 group) and those without such experience (non-COVID-19 group). Multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the factors influencing job stress. Results: Job stress was higher in the COVID-19 group compared to the non-COVID-19 group (t=2.54, p=.12). In sub-categorical comparison, stress driven by a taxing work environment, relationship conflict, and work schedule was higher in the COVID-19 group than the non-COVID-19 group. Multiple regression analysis revealed the job stress was higher among nurses with COVID-19-related work experience than that of non-experienced nurses. The factors affecting job stress of nurses with COVID-19-related work experience included emergency room work, providing nursing assistant for COVID-patients, and caring for these patients. Conclusion: Since COVID-19-related work experience is a major factor that affects nurses' job stress, it is imperative to provide various support measures for nursing assistants such as providing a break from working in an environment with high risk of infection, adjusting work schedules, resolving conflicts between personnel, and securing support.

요양원 종사자의 감정노동, 소진이 직무스트레스 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 치매환자 돌봄 경험을 중심으로 (The Effects of Emotional Labor, Burnout on Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Nursing Home Workers : Focusing on Care Experience of Dementia Patients)

  • 치매환자는 꾸준히 증가하는 추세로 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있으며, 환자들에게 서비스를 제공하는 자들에 대한 처우의 관심도 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 치매환자를 돌보는 요양원 종사자의 돌봄 경험을 살펴보고, 그들의 감정노동, 소진이 직무스트레스와 만족에 미치는 영향과 돌봄 경험의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요양병원 종사자의 돌봄 경험은 초기 간호사 마음가짐, 초기 간호수행(돌봄)시 치매환자에 대한 인식, 업무수행(돌봄)과정의 애로사항, 돌봄 과정에서 생기는 신체적 정신적 한계, 업무수행(돌봄)과정의 만족, 치매환자 간호수행(돌봄)을 통한 경험, 개인적 삶에 대한 마음가짐의 변화로 나타났다. 둘째, 감정노동과 소진은 직무스트레스에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 과정에서 돌봄 경험은 감정노동과 소진이 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 조절(완화)하는 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족 간의 관계는 지지되었다.

병원 원무행정근무자의 폭력경험이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Violence Experience on the Job Stress among Hospital Employees Working at Administration and Discharging Department)

  • Background: Workplace violence was recognized to be social problems that might impact the health status and the job satisfaction of employee in hospitals. This study investigated the current status of violence and job stress among hospital employees working at administration and discharging department. Methods: The study subjects were 213 administrative employees working at 20 general hospitals. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaire that included information such as demographics, job-related characteristics, experience of violence, and job stress. The violence was classified as verbal violence, physical threat, and physical violence occurred by patients and caregivers. Analysis of variance, t-tests, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis were performed to examine the associated factors with job stress. Results: The levels of verbal violence, physical threat, and physical violence were $1.64{\pm}1.08$, $0.54{\pm}0.67$, and $0.04{\pm}0.17$, respectively. The score of job stress was $2.74{\pm}0.50$ and it was associated with age, existence of spouse, drinking frequency, subjective health status, disease history, night-time treatment, and public health administration career in simple analysis. In multiple linear regression analysis, the level of verbal violence experience was significantly associated with job stress (B=0.09, p=0.001). Also physical threats (B=0.18, p<0.001) and physical violence (B=0.48, p=0.008) showed positive association with job stress. Conclusion: This study attempted to examine the association between experience of violence and job stress in administrative employees at medical institutions. Levels of violence showed positive correlation with the job stress. Environment improvement to protect employee from violence and management of employees who experienced workplace violence are needed to reduce the job stress.

외식업체 종사원의 성격이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 - 직무만족의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (Foodservice Employees' Big 5 and Its Impact on Turnover Intention - Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction -)

  • In this study, the influence of sub-factors of Big Five personality (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, openness to experience) to job satisfaction and turnover intention, and mediating effect of job satisfaction between Big Five personality and turnover intention were empirically analysed. Also the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention was investigated. The sample of this study were customer-contact employees of restaurant among Youngnam province. 243 questionnaires were used for the empirical analyses. According to the empirical analysis results, openness to experience and conscientiousness respectively had positive influences to job satisfaction and turnover intention. Also neuroticism gave negative influence to turnover intention. Another research finding of this study was that mediating effect of job satisfaction existed in the causal relationship of 'openness to experience' and conscientiousness to turnover intention. Managerial implications of the research findings are that restaurant managers are recommended to select employees of having much of conscientiousness and 'openness to experience', and to employ those of having much of agreeableness. In the field of restaurant industry, training is very important for employees to foster these personalities, because this industry does not have environment of hiring employees of having much of these personalities. Also training can be applied to employees of having high neuroticism for minimizing their turnover intention.

  • Personality factors and ethical values are considered as vital element in social and professional life. This present research aims to explore the relationship between Personality and Job Satisfaction. Further, we tried to test the moderating effect of Islamic work ethics (IWE) in the relationship of Personality traits with Job satisfaction. Convenience sampling was used in defining sample as in Pakistan there is no data base which provides information regarding number of employees. Due to moderating variable the data has been collected from respondents who identify themselves as Muslim. To collect data from respondents Self-administered, close-ended questionnaires and e-questionnaire were used in this study and respondents were targeted in the normal working environment. Correlation and regression analysis was used to analyze the data statistically. The results of study indicated that neuroticism exhibits significant negative effect on job s atisfaction. Also, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness showed positive effect on job satisfaction. Whereas, extraversion exhibits no effect on job satisfaction and IWE has a negative effect on job satisfaction. However, the output indicates that IWE do not act as moderator in the relation of agreeableness and conscientiousness with job satisfaction moderation effect of IWE is observed between the relationship of neuroticism, extraversion and openness to experience with job satisfaction.

직원경험 요인 파악 및 직무 만족도에 끼치는 영향력 분석 (Identification of Employee Experience Factors and Their Influence on Job Satisfaction)

  • 기존에 우수한 인재를 유치하기 위한 기업들의 경쟁이 심화됨에 따라, 직원들의 직무 만족도 관리가 중요해지고 있다. 이에 많은 기업의 관리자들은 직원들의 일상적인 경험과 고충을 파악하여 직무만족도를 개선하기 위해 투자하고 있다. 그러나 직원 경험에 대한 충분한 이해의 부족으로 관리자들의 투자는 효과를 보지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 전 세계적으로 가장 큰 직장인 커뮤니티인 글래스도어의 직원 리뷰와 기업 평점을 활용하여 직원 경험의 세부 요인들과 직무 만족도 간 관계를 조사한다. 이때 K-평균 군집화, Sentiment LDA Topic Modeling 등 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 직급에 따른 주요 경험을 추출하고, DistilBERT 감성 분석을 통해 각 직원경험 요인의 감성점수를 측정한다. 이후 도출된 직원 경험 요인과 감성 점수를 계량적으로 분석하여 각 직원 경험 요인과 직무 만족도 간의 관계를 파악한다. 그 결과, 조직 관리자와 일반 직원의 직장 내 경험에는 상당한 차이가 있는 것으로 발견되었다. 또한 고객관계, 자율성 등은 관리자의 만족도에 영향을 미치지 않는 등, 직무 만족도에 영향을 미치는 직원경험 역시 직급 간 상이했다. 본 연구는 직업적응이론을 기반으로 텍스트 마이닝과 계량 모델링 방법을 이용하여 직원경험의 주요 요인을 확인하고 이를 검증함으로써 관련 연구분야의 문헌을 확장한다. 더불어, 본 연구결과는 직원들의 직무 만족도 개선을 위한 인사관리 전략에 활용될 수 있으며, 궁극적으로는 기업의 생산성을 개선할 것으로 기대한다.

외식 산업 종사자의 성격 특성과 직업 선호도와의 관계 (The Relationship between Personality Traits and Job Preference in Foodservice Industry)

  • This study verified the relationship between the personality traits and the job preference in the foodservice industry. Questionnaire was held with targeting to the persons who engage in the foodservice industry, especially restaurants located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Factor analysis, regression analysis, t-analysis and dispersion analysis were carried out as the methodology of this study to analyze the relation with the Big Five Theory of Personality, which includes agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, openness to experience, and neuroticism and job preference. As a result, conscientiousness, openness to experience and neuroticism were founded as the meaningful factors of effect on the job preference. In order to promote the job preference in the foodservice industry, engagement of employees who have suitable personality traits should be considered as an important issue in result of this study.

임금근로 장애인의 사회적 네트워크가 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 차별경험의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of the Social Network of Disabled Wage Worker on Job Satisfaction :Centered on the Mediating Effects of Discrimination Experience)

  • 본 연구는 임금근로 장애인의 사회적 네트워크가 차별경험과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 및 차별경험의 매개효과를 분석하여 장애인의 사회적 네트워크의 중요성을 규명하고, 이를 통한 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 장애인고용패널조사 8차년도(2015년) 자료를 활용하여 임금근로 장애인 805명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 임금근로 장애인의 사회적 네트워크는 차별경험을 감소시키고 직무만족을 높이는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 임금근로 장애인의 차별경험은 직무만족을 감소시키고, 사회적 네트워크와 직무만족 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이와 같은 결과는 장애인의 차별과 직무만족에 사회적 네트워크의 중요성을 규명한 것으로 장애인의 사회적 네트워크 강화를 위한 정부 및 기업차원에서의 노력이 필요하다는 것을 시사하고 있다.

공대생의 일 경험이 첫 일자리 성공에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Engineering College Students' Work Experience on the Success of the First Job Success)

  • 이 연구는 공과대학 재학 중 일 경험이 노동 시장 진입에 미치는 영향을 탐구했다. 이를 위해, 공학 전공자와 다른 전공 학생들의 취업 준비 행동 중 일 경험과 첫 일자리 성공 간 관계를 비교하였다. 다음으로, 공대생이 경험한 인턴십과 같은 직장 경험이 졸업 후 첫 직장에 적응하고 고용을 유지하는 데 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 특히, 공대생의 노동 시장 진입에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 상대적 영향력을 분석함으로써, 공대생의 취업 성공을 위해 대학 차원에서 어떤 정책적 노력이 이루어질 수 있는지 제시하였다. 연구 결과, 인턴십 등의 일 경험이 공학계열 학생들의 취업의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 성별에 관계 없이 모든 공학계열 학생들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝혔다.
