A Study of Factors Affecting the Amount of Children's YouTube Use (어린이의 유튜브 이용량에 미치는 영향 요인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify what factors have impacts on the amount of YouTube viewing. In doing so, usage type, children's levels of self-control on viewing, parent's perception of media contents, and parental mediation style were investigated by age. The result of the study showed no significant differences of the amount of use by the different age groups. There were, however, significant differences in terms of subscription status(non subscription based vs. subscription-based viewing), level of self-control, perception of content, and parent's mediations (technology, supervision, and guidance). Given the amount of YouTube use, the subscription status and parent's supervision were significantly influential factors for the age group of 3-4 years old. For the age group of 5-6, subscription status, levels of self-control, and mediation of parent's supervision and guidance were influential factors. For the age of 7-9, subscription status, the level of self control, and premium service were significantly influential. Finding similarities and differences in meaningful variables by age group suggests that different strategies should be used to reduce the amount of children's YouTube use. In addition, it raises the need for a more detailed classification of children's YouTube usage methods, which have not been addressed so far, and the need for research on the influence of these methods.

Factors Affecting Subjective Well-being and Depression of the Elderly with Chronic Disease (만성질환을 가진 노인의 주관적 행복감과 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect on subjective well-being and depression of the elderly with chronic diseases. Using data from the 15th Korea Welfare Panel in 2020, 3,910 people who responded that they had chronic diseases over the age of 65 were analyzed with stepwise regressions. As a result, the factors affecting the subjective well-being of the elderly with chronic diseases were in the order of satisfaction with leisure life, subjective health status, satisfaction with children relationship, satisfaction with family income, satisfaction with spouse. The explanatory power of this model was 32.0% (F=351.44 p<.001). And also, factors affecting depression were in order of subjective health status, satisfaction with spouse, satisfaction with social relationship, satisfaction with children relationship, satisfaction with leisure life, and satisfaction with family income. The explanatory power of this model was 21.4% (F=178.59, p<.001). Therefore, policy systems to support leisure life of the elderly with chronic disease and measures to induce participation in programs using community resources are needed. And health management programs and institutional support to improve subjective health status are also needed. In addition, it is expected that economic support at the national policy level and various program execution strategies and support personnel will be secured at the community level.

A Study on Creation of Fair Transaction Environment between Platform Operator and Contents Provider in Broadcasting Industry (방송 산업 내 플랫폼사업자와 콘텐츠사업자 간 공정거래환경 조성 연구)

  • In a broadcasting market environment that has a close interdependence between platform operators and content operators, problems such as conflicts over program usage fees, and home shopping transmission fees are intensifying. This study attempted to analyze the environment of the domestic broadcasting market and present implications, analyze the cause of user fee conflict between the platform and PP, and propose detailed alternatives to resolve user fee conflict disputes. The results of environmental analysis on the domestic broadcasting market are as follows. First, the growth engine of the broadcasting industry has changed to direct resources such as service usage fees and content fees, and commerce is increasing. Second, as hegemony in the domestic broadcasting market changes from terrestrial to paid broadcasting and OTT, monopolies in the entire broadcasting area are being dismantled by voluntary entry. Third, the need to overhaul the existing regulatory system is increasing due to the dismantling and reorganization of the existing broadcasting market. On the other hand, this study proposed a strategy to diversify the profit structure of PP, supply program after pre-contracting, and strengthen CPS bargaining power in order to resolve disputes between paid broadcasting platforms and PP sharply. In particular, as strategies to strengthen CPS bargaining power of small and medium-sized SOs, it proposed to jointly improve CPS-related systems through IPTV and individual SOs, to redefine fees for programs and to voluntarily use programs.

The Influence Factors on the Stages of Change of Exercise in Middle Aged Men who Work based on the Transtheoretical Model (범이론적모형에 근거한 직장 중년남성의 운동행위변화단계에 미치는 영향요인)

  • The objective of this study was to analyze the factors affecting the stages of change of exercise in middle-aged men who work. 170 middle-aged men who work surveyed, 40 to 59 years old, is residing, Chung-Buk and Chung-Nam province, who understand the purpose of this study and agree to participate in this study. This study data is analyzed by using frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, 𝑥2 test and Logistic regression analysis. The study show that the exercise self-efficacy(𝛽=.965, p=.003) and the perceived health status(𝛽=.805, p=.025) among middle aged men who work have an effect on the stages of change of exercise meaningfully. That is, the exercise self-efficacy of middle aged men who work who have exercise behavior is 2.6 times higher than middle aged men at work who don't have exercise behavior, and the perceived health status is 2.2 times higher. This study suggests that the development of better exercise practice for middle aged men who work should be aimed at promoting exercise self-efficacy and perceived health status, Based on this, it is necessary to find ways to operate exercise programs at the workplace and community level.

Analysis of the Global Fandom and Success Factors of BTS (방탄소년단(BTS)의 글로벌 팬덤과 성공요인 분석)

  • Since reaching the top in the Billboard Main Album Chart 'Billboard 200' with Love Yourself: Tear in May of 2018, BTS once again took first place after just three months in the 'Billboard 200'(September 3, 2018) with the repackaged album Love Yourself: Answer. It opened the doors to the 'Hallyu 4.0' by conquering the main Billboard Chart with a song sung in Korean. BTS rose to the top on the 'Billboard 200' twice, thus being recognized globally for their musical talent(song, dance, promotion, etc.), and took their place in the mainstream music market of the world. BTS moved away from intuitive interaction such as mysticism, abnormality, irregularity, etc. but instead created their own world(BTS Universe) with fans around the world through two-directional communication such as consensus, sharing and co-existence. They are recognized as artists that went beyond being an idol group that simply released a few hit songs that had now elevated popular music to a new form of art. In result, they retained a highly loyal global fan base(A.R.M.Y.) and they are continuously creating good influence with them. This study analyzed the success factors of BTS using the S-M-C-R-E model as follows. ① Sender: BTS'7-person 7-colors fantasy and 'All-in-one storytelling' strategy of producer Bang Shi-hyuk ② Message: Create global consensus of 'you' rather than 'me' ③ Channel: Created real-time common grounds with global fans through social network platforms such as Youtube, Facebook and Instagram ④ Receiver: Formed highly loyal global fandom(A.R.M.Y.) that extends outside of Korea and Asia ⑤ Effect: Created additional economic value and spread good influence

Analysis of Related Factors of Depression According to the Causes of Suicidal Ideation : A Secondary Analysis of Community Health Survey, 2021 (자살생각 원인에 따른 우울의 관련 요인 분석: 2021년 지역사회건강조사 자료 활용)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting depression according to the causes of suicidal ideation. The data used the 2021 Community Health Survey data. The participants of the study were 5,328 adults between the ages of 20 and 60 who responded that they had suicidal thoughts in the past year. For the analysis of the data, a composite sample analysis was performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. The results of the study are as follows. 1) In the economic difficulties group, age, gender, education level, economic activity, job change due to COVID-19, life satisfaction, subjective health status, stress, sleep time, and annual unmet medical care were the main factors related to depression. 2) In the interpersonal problem group, age, gender, education level, economic activity, life satisfaction, subjective health status, smoking, drinking, stress, and sleeping time were the main factors associated with depression. 3) In the disease and disability group, age, marital status, education level, life satisfaction, smoking, stress, sleep time, and annual unmet medical care were the main influencing factors of depression. Therefore, in order to reduce the rate of suicide and prevent depression, it is necessary to establish various strategies according to the causes of suicidal ideation and the influencing factors of depression.

The Effect of Brand Personalized Marketing on Advertising Avoidance and Brand Loyalty of the MZ Generation (브랜드의 개인화된 마케팅이 MZ세대의 광고 회피와 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted from May 10th to 30th, 2023 to confirm the relationship between advertisement irritation, privacy concerns, personalized marketing, and social influence of brand customized advertisements on advertisement avoidance and brand loyalty targeting the MZ generation. The following results were verified using the SPSS 28.0 and Smart PLS 4.0 programs for a valid survey of 400 people targeting the MZ generation nationwide on a daily basis. First, advertisement irritation had a positive (+) effect on advertisement avoidance but had no effect on brand loyalty, and personalized marketing had a positive (+) effect on advertisement avoidance but had no effect on brand loyalty. Second, concerns about personal information had a positive (+) effect on avoidance of advertisements and brand loyalty. Third, social influence had a positive (+) effect on advertisement avoidance and brand loyalty. Fourth, advertisement avoidance played a significant mediating role between advertisement irritation and brand avoidance, but did not play a significant mediating role between personalized marketing and social influence. Based on these results, this study is meaningful in that it can be used as basic data for research on advertising avoidance and brand loyalty and for establishing strategies necessary for brand marketing activities.

The Effect of Social Support and Resilience on Quality of Life in Middle-Aged Women (중년여성의 사회적지지, 회복탄력성이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is a descriptive research study to determine the relationship between middle-aged women's social support, resilience and quality of life, and to identify factors that affect quality of life. The participants were 162 middle-aged women in G City. Data was collected from May 10 to June 10, 2023. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS 25.0 program. The social support was 3.36±0.38, resilience was 3.39±0.42, and quality of life was 3.18±0.50. Quality of life was positively correlated with social support(r=.502, p<.001), resilience(r=.530, p<.001). Factors that have a significant impact on quality of life include resilience(β=.422, p<.001), social support(β=.412, p<.001) and health status(β=.212, p=.001). The total explanatory power of these variables on quality of life was 39.2%. Therefore, it is necessary to develop effective programs and strategies to improve the quality of life of middle-aged women by improving their resilience, social support, and health status.

Exploring Data Augmentation Ratios for YOLO-Based Multi-Category Clothing Image Classification by Model Size (모델 크기별 데이터 증강 비율 탐구를 통한 YOLO 기반 의류 이미지 다중 카테고리 분류 연구)

  • With the recent adoption of AI by various clothing shopping platforms and related industries to meet consumer needs and enhance purchasing power, the necessity for accurate classification of clothing categories and colors has surged. This paper aims to address this issue by developing a deep learning model that classifies various clothing items and their colors within a single image using buyer review images. After directly crawling buyer review image data and performing various preprocessing steps such as data augmentation, we utilized the YOLOv10 model to detect clothing objects and classify them into categories. Subsequently, to improve color extraction, we implemented a cropping method to isolate clothing regions in the images and calculated the similarity with a color chart to extract the most similar color names. Our experimental results show that our approach is effective, with performance increasing with model size and augmentation scale. The employed model showed stable performance in both clothing category and color extraction, proving its reliability. The proposed system not only enhances customer satisfaction and purchasing power by accurately classifying clothing categories and colors based on user review images but also lays the foundation for further research in automated fashion analysis. Moreover, it possesses the scalability to be utilized in various fields of the related industry, such as fashion trend analysis, inventory management, and marketing strategy development.

The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Marketing (AIM) on Firms' Competitive Performance: The Sequential Mediating Role of Absorptive Capacity & Government Support Services (인공지능마케팅(AIM)이 기업의 경쟁우위성과에 미치는 영향; 흡수역량과 정부지원서비스의 순차적매개효과)

  • Recent advancements in AI have significantly transformed corporate marketing strategies, benefiting SMEs as well. While government support services play a key role in promoting firm & startup growth, research on optimizing their effectiveness remains limited. This study examines the sequential mediating roles of absorptive capacity & government support services in enhancing AI marketing outcomes using Hayes' (2018) Process Macro Model 6. Results show that while AI marketing does not directly impact competitive performance or government support services, it positively influences absorptive capacity, which in turn positively affects government support services & competitive performance. The findings highlight the importance of firms enhancing their absorptive capacity & efficiently using government support, while governments should design more effective support programs & policies for firms to fully leverage these resources.
