외국인 유학생의 보육실습 경험 분석: 어려움과 가치를 중심으로 (Analyzing the Child Care Practicum Experience of Foreign Students: Exploring Challenges and Benefits)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the experiences of foreign students in childcare practicum, with a specific focus on identifying the difficulties they encountered and the values they derived from their practicum experiences. The aim was to gain insights that can contribute to improving practicum support for these students. Methods: A total of 6 foreign students were selected as participants for this study using snowball sampling. The data collection period spanned from May 2021 to March 2023, during which semi-structured interviews were conducted and qualitatively analyzed. Results: Foreign students faced challenges in securing practicum placements prior to the start of their program. Communication difficulties necessitated the use of interpreters to interact with children. Additionally, documenting information in a language other than their mother tongue posed a challenge. Consequently, there was a need for tailored training support to address the specific needs of foreign students in childcare practicum. Despite these challenges, the students reported rewarding and valuable experiences during their practicum. These experiences included discovering the teaching identity in Korea, learning about desirable practices in the field, recognizing and addressing personal shortcomings, and developing a sense of vocation for the advancement of infant education in their home countries. Conclusion/Implications: If we actively listen to and provide appropriate support for the specific needs of foreign students in their childcare practicum, they have the potential to become excellent childcare teachers who can foster a harmonious and inclusive environment within our multicultural society.

시청각 매체를 활용한 목, 어깨 자가신장운동이 만성 목통증 여성의 통증, 자세정렬과 관절위치감각에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Neck and Shoulder Self-Stretching Exercise Using Audiovisual Media on Neck Pain, Postural Alignment, and Joint Position Error in Women with Chronic Neck Pain)

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of neck and shoulder self-stretching exercise using audiovisual media on neck pain, postural alignment, and joint position error in women with chronic neck pain. Methods: The subjects included 20 women that gave consent to participate in the study voluntarily. They performed the self-stretching exercises using audiovisual media was carried out 20 minutes 5 times a week during 3 weeks. Neck disability index (NDI) and visual analogue scale (VAS) were used to measure the functional disability and pain, A pressure pain threshold was measured using an algometer, and a cervical range of motion (CROM) measurement tool was used to measure the range of motion and error of proprioceptive position sense of the cervical spine. To assess posture alignment, forward head angle (FHA), forward shoulder angle (FSA) were measured using image J software. Results: The neck pain intensity was statistically significantly within group (p<.05). Neck and shoulder functional disability were a statistically significant difference within group (p<.05). Splenius capitis and upper trapezius pressure pain threshold were statistically significant difference in within group (p<.05). The postural alignment was statistically significantly within group (p<.05). The cervical range of motion in neck extension, right and left lateral flexion were statistically significantly within group (p<.05). The joint position error in neck flexion, extension, right and left lateral flexion decreased statistically significantly within group (p<.05). Conclusion: Self-stretching exercise using audiovisual media increased the mobility of the neck, decreased neck pain and joint position error, and improved posture alignment. As a result, there was a positive effect by applying the self-stretching exercise using audiovisual media to people with neck pain. Based on this, it is thought that it can be used as the basis for research related to home training programs for healthy self-management.

임부를 위한 자비명상 기반 중재의 가능성 탐색: 예비연구 (An Examination of the Possibility of Loving-Kindness and Compassion Meditation for Pregnant Women: A Preliminary Study)

  • 임부들의 심리적 안정과 태아와의 건강한 관계는 주산기 적응에 중요한 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 정신건강과 대인관계 개선에 효과적인 것으로 알려져 있는 자비명상을 임부용으로 개발하기 위하여 탐색적 예비연구를 진행하였다. 효과성과 개선점을 파악하기 위해 4주 자비명상 프로그램 참가자(n=8)들의 스트레스, 우울, 태아애착, 마음챙김 및 자기자비를 기저선과 사후에 측정하였으며, 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 바탕으로 현상학적 분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 자비명상이 임부의 심리적 안정과 태아와의 관계에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 가능성이 나타났으며, 회기구성 및 가정수련 보강방안 등의 보완점들을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구가 임부용 자비명상 개발을 위한 이해의 폭을 넓히고, 추후 연구들을 촉진할 것이라 기대한다.

자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동의 섭식 문제에 대한 중재의 국외 문헌 연구 (A Literature Review on Overseas Intervention Study for Feeding Problems in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study provided an overview of the general status and recent intervention approaches in overseas research related to feeding problems in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This review aims to explore interventions for feeding problems in order to provide higher quality follow-up research directions and implications, particularly focusing on providing recommendations for future research in the context of domestic studies. Methods : Analyzing studies published in international journals from 2017 to 2023. This review involved six selected articles, through Embase, Pubmed, RISS, KISS database search engine. A literature analysis that includes inclusion and exclusion criteria, six selected articles were examined. The literature analysis categorized the general status of the research and intervention approaches and treatment components into intervention, treatment settings and therapists, and dependent variables, respectively. Results : Among feeding intervention approaches, parent education interventions based on behavioral therapy had the highest proportion, followed by multidisciplinary interventions. To maintain the effectiveness of interventions over the long term and to generalize them to the home environment, parent education that utilizes parents as mediators is considered a crucial factor. The most commonly observed effects as dependent variables were changes in the consumption of disliked foods, health foods and alterations in feeding behavior. Conclusion : This study introduces various intervention approaches for addressing feeding problems in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), focusing on the positive effects demonstrated by active intervention research in abroad. Furthermore, it underscores the need for additional research in Korea to validate the efficacy of these feeding intervention methods. Lastly, the study outlines future research directions aimed at developing feeding programs to support children with ASD and their families coping with feeding issues.

액티브 시니어 여성이 선호하는 요가복 디자인 개발 (Development of Optimal Yoga Wear Design for Active Senior Women)

  • This study aims to develop yoga wear for active senior women aged 50-60 who engage in social activities based on time and economic availability. With the rapid growth of the elderly population, active seniors have become prominent consumers, showing a keen interest in cultural and sports activities, particularly yoga, which suits their physical structure and characteristics. Despite the increased interest in home training and healthcare post-pandemic, research on active senior's athleisure wear remains insufficient compared to younger demographics. This study conducted a literature review to understand the characteristics of active seniors and their needs for yoga wear, followed by a survey of 24 women aged 50 and above who practice yoga. The survey was conducted to assess yoga participation, current yoga wear usage, and design preferences. Results indicated that most respondents practiced yoga for less than a year, primarily for health and stress relief. While 65.2% were aware of specialized yoga brands, only 50% wore them, citing high prices and size mismatches as barriers. Functionality was the most critical factor affecting yoga wear purchase decisions, followed by design, material, and color/pattern preferences. Preferred top designs included V-neck, crew neck, and cowl neck with three-quarter sleeves, while leggings with a full-band waist were favored for bottoms. The study highlights the need for affordable, functional, and size-diverse yoga wear for active senior women, suggesting that modern, sophisticated designs are more appealing to this demographic. These findings provide essential guidelines for developing yoga wear that meets the specific needs of active senior women. As a result, this research has suggested three different yoga wear designs for active seinor women, using 3D Clo.

U-Net 기반 이미지 분할 및 병변 영역 식별을 활용한 반려견 피부질환 검출 모바일 앱 (Mobile App for Detecting Canine Skin Diseases Using U-Net Image Segmentation)

  • 본 논문은 반려견의 피부질환 발병 여부와 부위를 추론하기 위해서 딥러닝 기반 U-Net 모델을 학습하여 이미지 촬영을 통한 반려견의 피부병 발병 여부와 추론되는 병명을 제공하는 애플리케이션을 개발하였다. U-Net은 의료영상 분야에서 주로 사용되는 영역 분할(Image Segmentation) 기반 학습 모델로써 폴리곤 형태의 특정 이미지 영역을 구분하는 데 효과적이다. 따라서 반려견의 피부 이미지에서 병변 영역 식별에 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 반려견의 6가지 주요 피부질환을 클래스로 정의하고 이를 분별하는 U-Net 모델을 학습시켰다. 이를 모바일 앱으로 구현하여 간단한 카메라 촬영으로 병변 분석과 예측 작업을 수행하여 결과를 제공한다. 이를 통해서 반려인들은 반려동물의 건강 상태를 관찰하고 조기 진단에 도움이 되는 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 이와 같이 딥러닝을 통해서 반려동물 건강관리에 신속하고 정확한 진단 도구를 제공함으로써 가정에서도 손쉽게 이용할 수 있는 서비스 개발에 중요한 의미를 두고 있다.

서울시 고등학생의 안전교육 실태 및 요구도 조사 (Needs Accessment of Safety Education of High School Students in Seoul)

  • Unexpected accidents in school has been gradually increased every year, and student's mistaken was the first reason of the accident. To preventing the students from Unexpected accidents in school, safety education is more important than having strong facilities to have much more strong protecting forces for the accidents. Therefore, systematic education of safety is needed most of all, and especially, strengthening safety education in school is needed. Hereby, this study is aimed at investigating and analysing the actual condition and demand of safety education. It also conducted a survey with the target of 1,255 students in the second grade of high school in Seoul from April 20 to May 19, and the result of this study is as follows. 1. In the general features of the subject of the survey, boy students and girl students occupied 50.8% and 49.2% each, and boys' high school (34.3%), girls' high school(32.2%) and co-ed(33.5%) participated in balance. In the location, north from Han river occupied 54.6%, south were 45.2%. 2. According to the status of experiencing an accident, boys were more experienced then girls(p〈0.05). From the section, home accident(56.8%) occupied most followed by school accident, traffic accident, sports accident and poisoning. The accident happening most often in detailed category is sports accident such as basket ball, foot ball and dodge ball. The actual condition of the subject's using a school health facility shows that boys students use it more often than girl students(p〈0.01) 3. In attitude toward safety, the subject showed lower interest in safety issues than other social issues. But attitude in seriality of safety problems were high. Also, they responded ‘individual citizen’(63.1%) as the one who should make efforts for safety. Regarding knowledge of preventing safety accidents in attitude toward individual safety, 42.2% answered ‘they know a little’ and 32.6% of respondents say ‘they do not know’. To a question of the degree of the subject's following safety rules, 36.4% were answered ‘keeping’ and the group using a school health facility shows more ‘keeping’ the others(p〈0.05). 4. To a question of asking if they have experienced safety education, 51.2% answered ‘yes’. Teachers who mainly take care of safety education are answered as training teacher(48.7%). As for education time, training class(51.3%) is said to have safety education most followed by health-related event and PE(Physical Education). Frequency of education shows once or twice a session (62.8%) most often, but in case of co-ed school, 5-7times a session or more(20.1%) are being practiced. Looking at education time, 1-2 hour(s)(22.1%) or for a short time(22.1%) during class are being practiced. As an education method, instruction(43.8%) and video education(32.5%) are being practiced, and when it comes to education evaluation method, ‘not practiced’(70.0%) answered. To the question if they are satisfied with school safety education, they answered more ‘no(43.1%)’ than ‘yes(6.7%)’, and the reason is that safety education class is just for formality's sake, and the fact they already know is being repeated. The contents of safety education is composed of school safety, home safety, and first aid. 5. It is turned out that 56.5% of the total boy students and 61.1% of the total girl students recognize the necessity of safety education. To the question if safety education is needed in an elementary and middle education course, 46.4% of the subject answer answered' it's necessary'. The most reason for their answers are ‘safety education is directly related to life’. 6. Regarding the requested time of safety education is ‘one hour a week’ by 55.9%. For safety education, safety education teachers(38.7%) are answered to be the most proper. As a request for safety education, video education is answered to be the most appropriate(30.6%), followed by practical skills, lecture and discussion(p〈0.05). Demand of educational evaluation, practical skills, interview and observation are answered to be needed. To the question if they want to participate in the way of demanded safety education, 41.9% of respondents answer ‘have a mind to participate in’ (41.9%). To benefits followed by completing safety education, 72.0% of respondents answer ‘agree’, and 24.7% ‘do not agree’, which means lout 4 disagrees with completing safety education. 7. Looking at demand of safety education according to the features of the subject, ‘our position for the person who has handicapped’ was answer to the most.

한국과 독일 직업 교육 분석을 통한 한국 섬유·의류 도제교육에 관한 시사점 제안 (Suggestion of Implications for Korean Textiles and Clothing Apprenticeship Education Through the Analysis of Vocational Education in Korea and Germany)

  • 도제 교육은 2005년부터 공업 계열과 농업 계열 교과군에서 활발하게 진행이 이루어져 왔으며, 동시에 도제교육의 초석이라 할 수 있는 독일의 도제교육 제도에 대한 연구도 공업계 및 농업계 교과군에서는 끊임없이 이어져 왔다. 현재 도제교육은 정부 주도형 도제교육과 경기도 주도형 도제교육으로 나뉘어서 진행되고 있다. 오랜 전통을 가지고 국가와 기업, 학교가 협력을 이뤄온 독일과 비교하면 섬유·의상 관련 전공의 도제교육은 도입 시기이므로 보완해야 할 점들이 많다. 본 연구는 독일 도제교육 전반에 관한 분석 결과를 토대로 한국의 섬유·의류 교과군의 도제교육 개선 방향을 도출했다. 이에 독일과 한국의 도제교육에 관한 문헌을 비교 탐색하고, 문헌으로 나타나지 않은 현상을 파악하기 위해 한국에 거주 중인 독일 국적 교수님 두 명과 면담을 진행했다. 분석 결과 독일은 직업 교육에 대한 오랜 전통과 전국민적 인식이 도제 교육을 정착시킬 수 있는 바탕이 되고 있으며, 직업계고등학교의 정규 교육과정으로 자리 잡고 있다. 현재 우리나라의 도제 교육은 업체 발굴, 업체별 직무 분석 등 교육과정을 개발하는 일련의 절차가 모두 특성화고등학교에 전적으로 일임하여 진행하고 있다. 따라서, 도제 교육에 대한 공신력과 견고함은 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 문헌과 면담 자료에만 국한되고 실제 독일의 도제교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 살펴보지 못한 한계가 있다. 향후, 섬유·의상 교과 분야의 도제교육이 기업체의 인식 변화와 다양한 제도 구축 및 연구를 통해서 섬유·의류 노동 시장의 안정성을 구축하는데 이바지 할 수 있도록 관련 부서의 지속적 관심과 지원이 지속되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

뉴로피드백·뇌체조·한방차를 병행한 통합요법이 독거노인의 뇌기능 향상 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Integrated Therapy of Neurofeedback, Brain Gymnastics, and Oriental Herbal Tea on the Improvement of Brain Functions and the Quality of Life of Elders living alone)

  • 본 연구는 독거노인을 대상으로 뉴로피드백 훈련과 뇌체조 그리고 한방차를 병행한 통합요법을 적용하여 독거노인의 뇌기능 향상 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 단일군 전후 설계인 실험 연구이다. 2014년 12월 22일부터 2015년 2월 28일까지 8주 동안, Y군에 거주하는 65세~90세의 독거노인 23명(남 10명, 여 13명)을 대상으로 뉴로피드백 훈련은 2 Channel Neurofeedback System을 이용하여 이완 집중 기억력을 중심으로, 뇌체조는 한국정신과학연구소에서 개발한 뇌체조 프로그램을 이용하여 각각 1회 30분, 주 2회, 8주간, 16회를 하였다. 그리고 한방차는 동의보감과 여러 선행연구를 토대로 개발하여 조제한 한방차를 8주간, 매일, 하루 3잔 음용하도록 하였다. 그 결과 통합요법이 뇌기능지수 중 긴장도와 항스트레스 지수가 유의하게 변화하여 뇌기능 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 나타났다. 또한 삶의 질에서는 혈압과 혈당이 낮아지고, 삶의 질, 일상생활, 우울증상 등에서 유의미한 결과가 나왔다. 결론적으로 통합요법이 독거노인의 뇌기능 및 삶의 질을 의미 있게 향상 시킬 수 있음을 보여주었다. 그러므로 뉴로피드백 훈련, 뇌체조 및 한방차를 병행한 통합요법이 독거노인들의 삶의 질을 높이는데 반드시 필요한 중재요법이며, 보다 실질적이고 체계적으로 심신을 치유하여 삶의 질을 향상시키게 할 것이다.

감각조절 장애 아동에게 치료적 듣기가 작업수행, 청각행동문제, 주의집중에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Therapeutic Listening on Occupational Performance, Auditory Problem Behavior, and Attention in Children With Sensory Modulation Disorder)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 감각조절장애 아동에게 청지각 훈련과 병행한 감각통합치료를 시행하여 작업수행, 청각행동문제, 주의집중에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 감각조절장애로 분류된 아동 만 4~7세 아동 16명을 대상으로 임의표출법으로 실험군 8명 대조군 8명으로 배치하였다. 2017년 7월 1일부터 2017년 10월 18일까지 두 군 모두 감각통합 프로그램을 실시하였고 추가적으로 실험군에는 치료적 듣기 훈련을 실시하였다. 감각통합 치료는 주 2회고 1회기당 40분 치료 후 10분 상담으로 6주 동안 총 12회기를 진행하였고 치료적 듣기 훈련은 주 3회로 1회기당 30분씩 6주동안 총 18회기를 진행하였다. 치료 중재 전 후 작업수행의 변화를 측정하기 위해 캐나다 작업수행 측정(Canadian Occupational Performance Measure; COPM)을 사용하였고 청각과 관련한 행동문제의 변화를 보기 위해 Fisher's 청각행동 체크리스트(Fisher's Auditory Problems Checklist; FAPC)를 사용하였고 아동의 교육현장 에서의 변화를 보기 위해 교사용 유아 주의집중력 척도(Child Attention Scale for Teacher; CAST)를 사용하였다. 결과 : 중재 후 작업수행은 두 그룹 모두 유의한 변화가 나타났으나 두 그룹간은 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 청각행동문제는 실험군에서만 유의한 변화가 나타났고 두 그룹 간에는 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 주의집중은 두 그룹 모두 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았으나 실험군에서 세부항목인'적응성과 감정'영역에서 유의한 변화가 나타났고 두 그룹 간에는 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 결론 : 치료적 듣기 훈련이 감각조절장애 아동의 청각과 관련한 문제행동을 감소시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 주며 작업수행을 증진시킬 수 있는 중재 방법임을 확인하였다. 임상과 가정에서 듣기 훈련을 적용하여 감각처리능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 근거를 제시한다.
