The increased interest in the market movement towards generic products has been observed these days. Throughout the attraction theory, this study first explains how generic product introduction has an impact on original products. This study also shows how the social conformity theory is empirically applied to explanation of the attraction effects regarding generic products.

The purpose of this paper is to compute the covariant derivative of a shape operator of a generic submanifold of a complex space form without using the Green-Stoke's theorem. In particular, we classify complete generic submanifolds of a complex number space $C^m$ with parallel mean curvature vector satisfying a certain condition.

Jin studied lightlike hypersurfaces of an indefinite Kaehler manifold [6, 8] or indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold [7] with a quarter-symmetric metric connection. Jin also studied generic lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite trans-Sasakian manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection [10]. We study generic lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite Kaehler manifold with a quarter-symmetric metric connection.

Generic submanifolds of a Riemannian manifold endowed with a hypercosymplectic 3-structure are studied. Integrability conditions for certain distributions on the generic submanifold are discussed. Geometry of leaves of certain distributions are also studied.

We show that given any chain transitive set of a C¹ generic diffeomorphism f, if a diffeomorphism f has the eventual shadowing property on the locally maximal chain transitive set, then it is hyperbolic. Moreover, given any chain transitive set of a C¹ generic vector field X, if a vector field X has the eventual shadowing property on the locally maximal chain transitive set, then the chain transitive set does not contain a singular point and it is hyperbolic. We apply our results to conservative systems (volume-preserving diffeomorphisms and divergence-free vector fields).

This study examined the relationships and characteristics between generic skills and individual variables. The data from 187 students at a Korean university that participated in the Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO) feasibility study were utilized. The results indicated that there were no differences in generic skills according to gender, age, and grade point average (GPA). The field of study was the only variable showing a statistically significant difference in generic skills among the three groups. As a result of cluster analysis, four groups were formed based on the characteristics of generic skills. No differences in generic skills were observed among the four groups according to gender, age, and field of study. On the other hand, there was a statistically significant difference in generic skills among the four groups according to the GPA.
