This paper discusses electrical insulation characteristics at cryogenic temperature, especially focusing on partial discharge (PD) inception characteristics, for high temperature superconducting cables. In liquid nitrogen (L$N_2$) / polypropylene (PP) laminated paper composite insulation system, PD inception strength (PDIE) was evaluated in terms of volume effect and V-t characteristics. Different kinds of butt gap condition were applied in the experiments, using parallel plane and coaxial cylindrical cable samples. Experimental results revealed that the volume effect on PDIE could be evaluated by the statistical stressed liquid volume (SSLV) taking account the discharge probability not only in the butt gap but also in the other thin layers between PP laminated papers. Furthermore, the indices n of V-t characteristics at PD inception were estimated to be 80∼110, irrespective of the butt gap condition.

This paper deals with the edge effect in thin insulating films, focusing on their dependence on film thickness. The finding is that the electric field is lowered at the edge as the film thickness is reduced, which, in turn, is closely related to dielectric breakdown voltage. In order to analyze this phenomenon, a simple capacitor model is introduced with which dependence of dielectric breakdown voltage around the electrode edge on the film thickness is explained. Due to analytical difficulty to get the expression of electrical field strength at the edge, an equivalent circuit approach is used to find the voltage expression first and then the electric field expression using it. The relation gets to an agreement with the experimental findings shown in the paper. This outcome may be extended to solve similar problems in multi-layer insulating films.

Investigations into family-friendly company culture have been carried out for various companies and conglomerates. But there has never been such investigation for police organization, so this investigation is intended to see the effect on organizational commitment and job performance of the organization culture that makes use of family-friendly program for the police organization. To this end, how the internal factors of family-friendly organization culture affects organization commitment and job performance is empirically analyzed with structural equation modeling. And it is found that family-friendly program has significant effect on organizational life and welfare, and the welfare, in return, is found to have significant effect on job performance.

Purpose: This study investigates the effect of CRM activities of Korean equipment construction companies on the quality satisfaction perceived by consumers as an analysis method using Kano model. Methods: It use the Kano model to classify the quality characteristics of the CRM activities of equipment construction companies, focusing on consumer perception, and analyze the effect on the level of quality satisfaction perceived by consumers. Results: The results showed that most of quality attributes of CRM activities in the equipment companies were categorized as 'one-dimensional' quality. Conclusion: The CRM activities in equipment construction compaies is verified to be essential component of successful strategy to improve customer's satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of interpersonal relationship on the relationship between attachment and subjective well-being of university students. We conducted a survey on 336 university students in Andong-si and Cheongju-si. The data were analyzed by Pearson's productive correlation, hierarchical regression analysis and Sobel test. The results were as follows: First, affective well-being made an effect by avoidant attachment and anxiety attachment, and was more affected by interpersonal relationship than anxiety attachment including mediating variable of interpersonal relationship. Second, there was a significant effect in cognitive well-being only by anxiety attachment. Including mediating variables of interpersonal relationship, cognitive well-being affected by interpersonal relationship only. Third, interpersonal relationship mediated partially the relationship between attachment and affective well-being, and perfectly between attachment and cognitive well-being.

Purpose: This study intends to offer strategic implications that can be used in Korean medicine hospitals through analysis of causal relationship among factors focusing on image improvement and trust building. Methods: Differential model was introduced to test causal relationship. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling. Results: Medical service has effects on image, trust, and CS. CS has an effect on trustworthiness, and trustworthiness has positive effect on loyalty intention and has negative effect on switching intention. Emotional attachment has moderating functions between trust and loyalty intention and between trust and switching intention. Conclusion: This study offers practical implications to relevant managers, at the same time it has limitations that omits relevant study of inducing factor for emotional attachment.

Research on the basic interaction of radiation with biological systems has contributed to human society through various applications in pharmaceutical, medicine, agriculture and other technological developments. In the agricultural sciences and food technology sectors, the last few decades have witnessed a large number of pertinent works regarding the utilization of radiation for evolution of superior varieties of agricultural crops of economic importance. This review presents general information about the effect of radiation on plant specificity, dose response, and benefits. There has been summarized of the effects observed after exposure and influenced by several factors including plant characteristics and radiation features. We also report on the effect of ${\gamma}$-irradiations on plants, focusing on metabolic alterations, modifications of growth and development and changes in biochemical pathways.

The purpose of this study was to analyze a causal relations of preschool aged children's social adjustment, socio-demographic variables, parenting stressor, social support and parenting behaviors. The major findings of this study were as follow; (1) Parenting stressor was the first contribution factor on preschool aged children's adjustment. (2) Parenting stressor had a indirect effect through social suport, limit setting, encouragement of independence behavior as well as a direct effect on preschool aged children's social adjustment. (3) Preschool aged children's social adjustment was affected by social support indirectly through parenting behaviors. (4) Encouragement of independent behavior, limit setting behavior had a direct effect on preschool aged children's social adjustment.

Objective : To research the trend of studies about anti-allergic response on Herbal Acupuncture therapy by analysing domestic theses, published after 2001, about Herbal Acupuncture therapy. Methods : I reviewed and analyzed domestic theses, published after 2001, mentioning anti-allergic response of Herbal Acupuncture therapy. And these theses were classified by university, year, field of study, subject. Results : In theses focusing on anti-allergic effect, there were some cases trying to prove remedial value of operating herbal acupuncture on acupuncture points, and cases trying to prove its effect on immunity.

Purpose: This study investigated the effect of transformational leadership and individual characteristics on nurses' job involvement. Method: The sample for this study consisted of 594 nurses from 8 large Korean hospitals. The factor analysis was drawn from the Cronbach's alpha analysis, the Pearson correlation analysis, the multiple regression analysis, and the hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Result: This study found that; (1) charisma dimension of transformational leadership has positive influence on job involvement; but intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration did not showed significant effects on job involvement (2) nurse individual characteristics (age, marital status, educational level, tenure, position) moderated the effect of transformational leadership on job involvement. Conclusion : Therefore, to improve job involvement nurses are required to apply the charisma dimension of transformational leadership in hospital organization.
