Applying H. Gans' taste culture theory to the comtemporary fashion phenomena this study had an object to classify the fashion phenomena in Korea and Japan from 1995 to 1999, and look into and compare them. First of all, the characters of each fashion group of the two countries show that the details of the Korean traditional costume are grafted into the most popular style in each season in Korean high fashion and oriental look used the formative method far Japanese traditional costume and Tokyo street style are reflected in the Japanese high fashion. Mass fashion in Korea equally comes under the influence of European high fashion, Korean street fashion, and Japanese mass fashion, And mass fashion in Japan reflects European high fashion and japanese street fashion. The Street fashion in Korea was affected by Korean entertainers'fashion, 'Tongdaemun market fashion' in Seoul, and Japanese street fashion. And street fashion in Japan is also affected by the pursuit of powerful personality, the absolute imitation if Japanese entertainers' fashion, and 'Tongdaemun market fashion'. All of two countries exercise considerable influence over mass fashion each other.

During this period, brand has taken an important part. The fashion industry in China is developing on outlook, function, materials and categories. I want to do this brief research on the ten years of China Fashion Week to review the development of China Fashion Week, which is the symbol of China fashion industry. I hope it can be reference for being comprehended by Chinese and other foreign countries. In 1997, China Fashion Week was called Fashion Design exhibition. The title was modified to be China Fashion Week in 2000. In 2003. the title was developed to China Fashion Week (Spring/Summer Collection) and China Fashion Week (Autumn/Winter Collection). In the past ten years, there have been 300 fashion collections, with 600 fashion designers who joined in the competitions, and thousands of models, reporters and photographers, who took part in China Fashion Week. Recently 200 login fashion brands, 300 fashion designers, more than 500 reporters and 50 model management companies have made a relationship with China Fashion Week. The first moment of China Fashion Week- "famous designer project": paying attention to the relationship between the level of fashion designers and the style of brands. Quite a good deal of fashion design became more practical. The second moment of China Fashion Week- "improving Chinese fashion brands ": fashion show was not a kind of stage art but the business dealing for brand during that period. The situation of China Fashion Week now: Chinese Haute Couture is showed wonderfully during China Fashion Week. Fashion contest became the character of China Fashion Week. The contests were for adult fashion designers, new designers, models, and photographers. According to the development between different countries on fashion, the international communication of China Fashion Week became more and more popular and wide. Fashion designers from France, Italy, New York, Korea and Japan had fashion shows in China Fashion Week. The Chinese top fashion designers were showing their work during Paris, Milan and New York fashion shows.
A new form of media is changing the expression and content of fashion. In this paper, fashion films that have appeared since 2010 - when digital fashion communication was increasing - will be discussed and explored to consider how technological transitions in fashion media are changing the appearance and role of fashion. A literature review was conducted to derive characteristics, types, and expressive elements of new media fashion films, which were defined for this study as fashion films produced and distributed since 2010 using digital media. Films were categorized into three types: promotional, editorial, and independent fashion films. Furthermore, elements of the films were identified as fashion mise-en-scene, auditory structure, and content structure. Types and expressions of digital fashion images in 40 fashion films were analyzed according to these elements. The results showed that promotional fashion films maximize various narrative and sensory effects on fashion products, whilst editorial fashion films strengthen the role of entertainment. Independent fashion films expand the area of fashion and promote the diversification of fashion systems. Moreover, the results show that fashion films are not a secondary form of media that just expresses fashion; they provide a tool for the creation of new fashion content. New media fashion films promote the expansion of expressive spectra and boundaries, offering various multisensory experiences of fashion, and enhancing creativity and the aesthetic values of fashion.
Fashion can be regarded as an effective marketing tool for the promotion of urban tourism. Since fashion is attractive in itself, it can work as a resource which fascinates people and attracts many tourists to the city. This study examines fashion tourism based on the close relationship between fashion and tourism. This study focuses on analyzing the positive effect of the existence of a fashion museum on the advent of fashion tourism, in particular. A fashion museum can be classified in the same category as an art museum, whereby the museum exists as specializing in fashion and is considered a fashion brand museum. Thus, this study examines the current trends and characteristics of fashion museums and analyzes roles of fashion museums in fashion tourism by types, which are based on advanced researches of general tourism including trends in the fashion tourism industry. The results of this study are as follows: First, a fashion museum can help spread the word and educate tourists about fashion culture. Second, a fashion museum can increase the value of its brand by strengthening the city's identity. Lastly, the presence of a fashion museum would encourage tourists to spend more money in the city, which causes a ripple effect on the city's economy such as creating more jobs within the fashion.
In the 21st century fashion industry, the rise of digital environments has transformed it into a dynamic medium, expanding the horizons of media utilization. Consequently, digital fashion film has emerged as a pivotal tool for fashion communication. Functioning as a visual expression medium, fashion film animates fashion concepts into immersive moving images. Proficiency in digital fashion communication has become imperative, considering the attributes of fashion media. Notably, the role of creative directors in ensuring coherent communication across diverse fashion media platforms has gained prominence, underscoring the need for systematic fashion education to nurture specialized talent. This study, therefore, devised a comprehensive curriculum amalgamating fashion communication and practical digital media skills, implemented within fashion major courses. Through this approach, students gained experimental media proficiency and explored innovative approaches to crafting fashion films that eloquently convey fashion narratives. The participants were exposed to the entire spectrum of fashion media production, encompassing digital storytelling, fashion film conceptualization, filming techniques, meticulous editing, and adept utilization of special effects technology. The study's pedagogical strategy, characterized by a focused learning trajectory, garnered significant acclaim. In essence, this study holds significance by formulating a curriculum that nurtures the imaginative and pragmatic aptitudes of fashion majors, immersing them in the dynamic realm of rapidly evolving digital fashion films and their integration with fashion content.

Fashion exhibitions in museums are an important media to deliver ideas of fashion. Although it still arouses controversy, museums have become an ideal platform for fashion exhibitions since some fashion exhibitions have garnered successful results in mega museums. This can be considered as a cultural phenomenon and a new paradigm since fashion exhibitions in museums are closely related to new museums and fashion museology. Thus, this study examines the definition of 'fashion exhibitions in museums' based on new museums and fashion museology, and then lays the groundwork for its typology through an analysis of preceding research about fashion exhibitions from the 1970s to the present day. In consequence, fashion exhibitions in museums are categorized into five types; retrospective exhibition, survey exhibition, fashion photography and film exhibition, and consider both virtual exhibitions and fashion brand exhibitions.
