비만한 남성 불임환자 1례에서 2004년 1월 28일부터 4월 30일까지 한방 치료를 시행한 결과 체중, 체지방, BMI의 감소와 정자수, 정자활동력의 증가 등의 한방비만치료를 통한 남성불임치료에 대해 유의성 있는 결과를 얻어 이에 보고하는 바이다.

We experienced an abdominal obese patient with postpartum disease. From the 15th of July 2006 to the 16th of September 2006 we applied herbal medications (Gungguijohyeoleumgamibang and Taeeumjouitanggamibang), acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, electrolipolysis, low calorie diet, aerobic exercise, behavioral therapy to her. We examined the changes in body weight, BMI, PBF and WHR and the changes in cold hypersensitivity of lower extremities and pain of wrists and ankles. Her weight decreased from 49.6kg to 44.5kg, BMI from $20.9kg/m^2$ to $18.8kg/m^2$, PBF from 27.7% to 23.9%, WHR from 0.84 to 0.78. Cold hypersensitivity of lower extremities and pain of wrists and ankles, symptoms typical of postpartum disease disappeared after treatment. Despite a low calorie diet, lactational performance was not impaired.

2003년 2월 28일부터 비만치료를 시작하여 2003년 7월 14일까지 일차적 비만치료를 받은 소아비만환자 1례에서 한방비만치료(체감의이인탕(體感意苡仁湯)복용, 초저열량식이요법, 운동요법, 행동수정요법, 물리치료요법, 지방분해침 등)를 지속적으로 시행한 결과 각종 비만지표, 혈액검사소견, 복부컴퓨터단층촬영상 지방비율 등에서 유의성 있는 변화들이 관찰되었기에 이에 그 경과를 보고하는 바이다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical effect of oriental medical therapy on obesity and the progress of weight loss through an oriental obesity program. Methods The subjects were treated from January 2008 to February 2009 in J Korean Medical Hospital. Herbal medical Hospital. Herbal medicine, electrolipolysis, auricular acupuncture were performed during the treatment period. We checked the change of weight every treatment time and measured the body composition by bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA) every 2 weeks. Results The progress of weight loss was steady in the first 4 weeks except for the sixth weight check. After 4 weeks treatment, the weight loss was 3.52${\pm}$1.98Kg and 4.83${\pm}$2.68%. Total fat mass measured by BIA significantly decreased 2.58${\pm}$1.30Kg after 4 weeks. Age and the weight loss were significantly negative correlated. Conclusions Oriental obesity treatment could be effective on obesity, but further studies would be needed for the foundation of a clinical guideline reflecting various factors.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical effect of oriental obesity therapy on obese patient with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD). Methods The patient was treated from November 17, 2008 to May 15, 2009 for obesity treatment. And the patient had intensive care through admission treatment from November 17, 2008 to November 29, 2008. Electrolipolysis, auricular acupuncture, herbal medicine, low calorie diet and aerobic exercise were done during the treatment period. Results His body Weight decreased from 102.8kg to 82.7kg. The BMI decreased from 35.2kg/m$^2$ to 28.9kg/m$^2$. NAFLD effectively improved on sonography form grade II${\sim}$III to grade I${\sim}$II after oriental obesity therapy, AST decreased from 65 to 19. ALT decreased from 152 to 18. Oriental obesity therapy could be effective to treat obese patient with NAFLD. Conclusions The obese patient with NAFLD improved on sonography by oriental obesity therapy.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical effect of oriental medical obesity therapy on obese patient with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. We supposed to treat patient 21 years old that had non-alcoholic fatty liver with oriental medical obesity therapy. Methods The patient was treated from the 19th of July to the 22th of August for obesity treatment. And the patient had intensive care through admission treatment from the 19th of July to the 30th of July. Herbal medicine, low calorie and low cholesterol diet, electrolipolysis, auricular acupuncture, aerobic exercise was done during the treatment period. Results His body weight decreased from 107.10㎏ to 98.85㎏. The BMI decreased from 36.2㎏/$m^2$ to 34.5㎏/$m^2$. Abdominal visceral fat tissue decreased from 190.80$cm^2$ to 145.05$cm^2$. AST was decreased from 113 to 45. ALT was decreased from 145 to 40. r-GT was decreased from 123 to 51. Oriental obesity therapy could be effective to treat obese patient with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Conclusions The obese patient with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease had improved liver function after oriental obesity treatment.

내장지방형 고도비만 환자에게 단기간의 강남경희 체형관리 프로그램(한약치료, 전기지방분해침, 이침과 적절한 식이조절과 운동요법 등)을 통해 체중감량과 내장지방 감소의 유효한 결과를 얻었다. 이와 같은 정확한 진단과 치료 결과를 서술한 증례보고를 통하여 한방 치료 방법이 비만환자에 미치는 구체적인 영향에 대한 추가적 보완 연구가 필요할 것이다.

2001년 1월 3일부터 2001년 4월 14일까지 고도의 복부비만으로 판정받은 1례의 환자에서 체감의이인탕의 한약복용, 초저열량식이요법(600kcal), 유산소운동(6km/h속도의 속보60분),행동수정요법(평소보다 50% 증가된 활동량), 전기지방분해침(Lipodren)40분, Infared therapy,이침, Aqua-pt(수압마사지)등을 입원 및 통원치료로 시행하여 비만지표, 신체사이즈, 간기능 검사, 복부 전산화단층촬영 상에서 유의한 변화를 관찰하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

We experienced a female patient who was diagnosed as obesity with diabetes. From the 6th of February to the 13th of September in the year 2004 A.D., we applied herbal medication(Yukmijihwang-tang(added) etc.), low calorie diet, aerobic exercise, behavioral therapy, electrolipolysis, articular acupuncture to her. And we examined both the change of her weight, BMI, WHR, Edema test and Glucose(FBS, PP2hrs). Patient's general condition was better than before. So it could be concluded that Yukmigihwang-tang(added) can help the treatment of obesity with diabetes.

This study was performed to evaluate the oriental obese therapeutic effect with Sweet Bee Venom Mesotherapy on obese female patient of 53th years old with $Tae\bar{u}min$. We applied herbal medication, electrolipolysis, auricular acupuncture to her during 6 weeks. But, Body fat mass(Kg) and Percent Body Fat(%) was increased. After that, We treated with Sweet Bee Venom Mesotherapy on Chung-wan, Sang-wan, both Yang-mun, both $Ch'\bar{o}nch'\bar{u}$, both $Taeh\bar{o}ng$, both $Taeg\bar{o}$, both $Pokky\bar{o}l$, Kihae acupoint of abdomen during 5 weeks. We had a results of such as decreasing change of Body fat mass(Kg) and Percent Body Fat(%) with Body composition analyzer(Inbody 3.0, Biospace, Korea). And Subcutaneous Fat was decreased at all abdominal acupoints after Sweet Bee Venom Mesotherapy with Ultrasonography(LOGIQ200MD, USA). Therefore we have suggested that Sweet Bee Venom Mesotherapy have possibility to be utilized for oriental obese treatment.
