  • Digital transformation is taking place rapidly around the world. As the development of digital technology becomes very fast, more information is expected to be digitized. Therefore, the possibility of cyber threats is increasing in transmitting and storing sensitive information such as personal and financial information online. In this paper, we compared and analyzed information security textbooks for elementary and secondary school students in China, where the recent development of artificial intelligence and digital transformation are rapidly occurring. After we collected related textbooks, textbooks suitable for analysis were selected. Then, we analyzed the external and internal systems of the textbooks separately. As a result of the external system analysis, all the textbook covers were properly produced, but the quality difference was significant among textbooks. In the case of textbooks for elementary school students, the excellence of layout and content placement was noticed. On the other hand, due to the internal system analysis, various contents were not included evenly when looking at the learning contents based on the "information society responsibility" learning goals presented in China. Through this paper, we hope to provide implications for information security-related education and textbook development research.

The units analyzed were 'Clothing and self-expression' and 'Eco-friendly clothing life and recycling by reform'. The purpose of this study was to provide basic information for the development of textbooks and teaching materials by analyzing current textbooks. Researchers analyzed the textbooks individually using pre-developed analysis frame using Reigeluth's elaboration theory. The results of the study were as follows. The conceptual elaboration process was used in the unit of 'Clothing and self-expression' of all the textbooks used in this study, and procedural elaboration process was mostly used in the unit of 'Eco-friendly clothing life and recycling by reform'. The strategies of advance learning ability were presented mostly in the forms of 'Learning Objective', 'Thought Opening', 'Key terms' in either unit and sub unit. The strategies of summarizer were presented as 'Unit Summary', 'Cleanup' and 'Assessment'. The strategies of synthesizer were used in all the textbooks as the 'Exploration' to increase the students interest through the promotion of the learning content in a variety of activities and projects. The cognitive activator strategies were shown in all of the textbooks using mostly 'Figure,' and others such as 'Table,' 'Diagram', and 'Explanation of Terms'. The strategies of learner control were used to guide the supplement and deepen the learning by various forms. However the analogy strategies were hardly used in units of textbooks analyzed in this study. As a result, the technology home economics textbooks I, II for middle school students applied the Reigeluth's elaboration theory, except the analogy strategies. It is recommended to utilize th analogy strategies and various activities to enhance the students' understanding and participation.

Accordingly, vocational purpose education is being emphasized even in Korean language education. When facing active trade between Korea and China, the importance of business Korean language education will be magnified, and therefore, the demand for business Korean textbooks will grow accordingly. To strengthen the basis for the development of future business Korean textbooks, this study conducted a general analysis of a business Korean textbook for Chinese learners. Specifically, the textbook was examined by largely dividing it into external and internal structures. After dividing the internal structure into "purpose of compilation", "composition of the textbook", "learning contents", and "learning activity", the composition of the textbook was once again divided into "overall composition" and "unit composition", and the learning contents was further divided into "subject", "language content", and "supplementary knowledge." Furthermore, an analysis was conducted. The status and directions for future development of business Korean textbooks for Chinese learners are delineated and suggestions for improvement are provided. This study has its significant in that a general analysis was conducted on a business Korean textbook for Chinese learners, and is expected to be used as basic research material for the future development of business Korean textbooks.

  • This study analyzed how problem-posing tasks included in Korean middle school mathematics textbooks were distributed in terms of content area, task type, and context of task to investigate that the mathematics textbooks are giving students ample opportunities for problem-posing activities. The analysis of 10 mathematics textbooks for first grade in middle school according to the revised mathematics curriculum in 2015 found that the problem-posing tasks contained in the textbooks are insufficient in quantity and not evenly distributed in terms of content areas. There were also more problem-posing tasks with relatively moderate constraints than those with strong or weak constraints in terms of mathematical constraints. In addition, there were more problem-posing tasks that were not requiring students to make a new context, and more often camouflage contexts were used. Based on this, implications for improving mathematics problem-posing tasks in mathematics textbook were suggested.

  • This study took existing invention intellectual property related textbooks being utilized in secondary vocational education, analyzed the formation status of 'key learning elements' reflection ratio and drew optimum key learning elements formation ratio by invention intellectual property education content required in secondary vocational education in the future. For this, the study task was set up as 'what kind and how much of invention intellectual property key learning elements are in the invention intellectual property textbook education content now and what is the desirable ratio of each key learning elements in the future'. To resolve this task, 3 specialists analyzed the invention intellectual property education content reflection status and optimum reflection ratio by invention intellectual property education content required in the future is suggested by Delphi survey. The results of this study are as following. First, the result of analysis on invention intellectual property key learning elements included in the invention patent recognition books being utilized in secondary vocational education was that the books included all key learning elements; however, some textbooks have the trend of concentrating in D area (problem-solving activities). Second, the result of analysis on the reflection ratio by invention intellectual property education content area in the invention patent recognition books being utilized in secondary vocational education was that there was the trend in most textbooks that they concentrate in intellectual property creation area; while some textbooks deal with intellectual property protection area and intellectual property utilization area. Regarding by achievement type, knowledge area was main in all textbooks. Meanwhile, function area is dealt in invention patent basic, invention and problem-solving and design textbooks. Attitude area is not dealt or is dealt insufficiently in most textbooks. Third, the optimum reflection ratio of invention intellectual property education key learning elements required in secondary vocational education in the future as obtained by specialists' delphi survey was that it is necessary to decrease D (problem-solving activities) 17.7% area, E(invention fusion knowledge) 2.9% area, K(patent application) 6.9% and L(patent information investigation) area 9.6%. Regarding the optimum reflection ratio of invention intellectual property education content, it is suggested that the invention literacy area 3.1%, intellectual property creation area 4.5% and intellectual property protection area 10.6% would be decreased; while intellectual property utilization area 17.7% would be increased. Regarding optimum reflection ratio of achievement type, it is suggested that knowledge area 52% would be decreased; while function area 32.3% and attitude area 19.6% would be increased.
