A sample of students was recruited from two universities in Korea. For data analysis, SPSS PC+ and SPSS PROCESS macro were used. Frequency, reliability, correlation and mediating effect analysis were performed. Bootstrap technique was done to verify the mediating effect. Results showed as follows. First, grit, self-esteem and hope were negatively correlated with human rights damage, but grit, self-esteem and hope were positively correlated with each other. Second, hope and grit mediated in the relationship between human rights damage and self-esteem. For further research, it was discussed how university students who experienced human rights abuses could use grit and hope to maintain their lowered self-esteem.

  • This study aimed to provide the information on the thermal sensation and the amount of clothing worn of junior high school students in winter classroom the relation with their climate adaptability. Total usable questionnaires were obtained from 467 male and female students. The questionnaire included general characteristics, physical characteristics, self awareness of body shape, climate adaptability and subjective thermal sensation in winter classroom. The data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 for frequency analysis, factor analysis, chi-square analysis, t-test and correlation analysis. The results were as follows. The average body type based on BMI was normal($20.1kg/m^2$ ). Females perceived their body type as thinner than males. They wore more (8.67 garment items compared to 8.14 for males). Only about 25% of students voted the thermal sensation to neutral(47% cool~very cold, 28% warm~very hot). Females were more sensitive to the cold, perceived less healthy, and wore more garments in the cold. Students felt colder in winter classroom when their cold adaptability was lower and they actively adjusted thermal insulation against the cold. It is recommended to suggest the guidelines for the proper indoor temperature and for the wear behavior in classroom in the perspectives of increasing the learning efficiency and improving the students' climate adaptability.

Second, parenting time moderated and mediated the effect of parenting stress on mental health through parenting efficacy. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the parenting time of parents raising disabled children plays a role in increasing the negative impact of parenting stress on mental health through parenting efficacy.

  • The present study examines the dual mediating role of social support and self-esteem in the relationship between grit and life satisfaction among college students. Utilizing a cross-sectional design, we surveyed a sample of 326 undergraduates from one university in China by means of purposive sampling. The analyses were conducted using SPSS PC+ Win. ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. Pearson's correlation analysis was performed to show the correlations among the variables, and Model 6 of the PROCESS macro for SPSS was used to verify dual mediation effects. First, correlation results indicated positive and significant correlations between grit, social support, self-esteem and life satisfaction. Second, the dual mediating role of social support and self-esteem in the relationship between grit and life satisfaction was proved. This study contributes to the literature by elucidating the psychological mechanisms through which grit operates to enhance life satisfaction. The results have implications for the development of interventions aimed at fostering grit and the enhancement of social support and self-esteem to improve life satisfaction. Suggestions for future studies were discussed in detail.

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis the causal model between self-directedness, learning flow, career decision and self-efficacy, and career exploration behavior of undergraduate students. A survey was conducted on 604 undergraduate students, and Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyze. The major findings were as follows: First, learning flow and career decision self-efficacy were found to have positive impacts on career exploration behavior. However, self-directedness was found to have no significant direct impacts on career exploration behavior. Second, self-directedness was found to have positive impacts on learning flow and career decision self-efficacy. Finally, learning flow and career decision self-efficacy were found to have perfect mediating effects on the relationships between self-directedness and career exploration behavior. Considering the size of the specific indirect effect, the mediating effects of learning flow was relatively larger than those of career decision self-efficacy. Based on the results, discussions to increase career exploration behavior were made as well as suggestions for future research.

  • This study aims to verify the moderated mediating effect of a growth mindset on the effect of academic burnout on academic self-efficacy through study engagement among Chinese college students. Data were collected through a survey targeting 547 college students who were purposively sampled at a junior college in China. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The applied statistical methods were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The study showed that academic burnout had a significant negative correlation with growth mindset, study engagement, and academic self-efficacy. On the other hand, growth mindset, study engagement, and academic self-efficacy showed a significant positive correlation. Second, the moderated mediating effect of a growth mindset was verified in the effect of academic burnout on academic self-efficacy through study engagement. Based on these results, this study proposed a method to protect academic self-efficacy by applying study engagement and growth mindset in situations where academic burnout among college students reduces academic self-efficacy.

  • This study is to examine nutrients in the persimmon peel develop processed products and analyze their quality properties. The persimmon peel powder was rich in nutrients with 4.35% of moisture, 3.01% of protein, 1.02% of lipid, 2.02% of ash and $5.7^{\circ}Brix$ of Sugar concentration as well as 82.5 mg% of total carotenoid. As far as quality properties of Sulgidduk were concerned when the 5% addition persimmon peel resulted in the highest level of watery content and the more colors were added the lower the L value became and the higher a and b values. As the result of measurements using a texture analyzer, hardness, adhesiveness, cohesiveness, springiness and chewiness property decreased flexibility increased. The sensory test results revealed that the 3% added persimmon peel Sulgidduk was the best.
