  • Recently active research for ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) helps to build for next generation traffic information system at information society. Build the system for sensing a vehicle speed and traffic information on the road. Provide collected data to driver, flow of overall traffic impacts have a good influence. In this study, research for building the platform and development algorithm that provided from other source processing real-time traffic data provides a more reliable real-time traffic data.

  • 위상배열 안테나 시스템에서 빔 제어 기술은 이동통신 및 위성통신시스템, 비행하고 있는 임의의 비행체의 위치를 고도의 정확도를 가지고 추적하는 군사용 레이더 시스템이나 항공사의 통신 시스템, 선박이나 차량간의 충돌을 방지하기 위한 충돌방지 시스템 등에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 이러한 위상배열 안테나 시스템에서 위상천이기를 이용하는 방법이 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 방법은 원리적으로 간단하지만 실제 구현할 때 위상천이기를 제어하기 위한 제어 신호와 DC 바이어스 라인들 그리고 전력분배기로 구성되어 있기 때문에 전체 회로가 복잡해진다. 뿐만 아니라 현재로서는 위상천이기의 가격과 삽입 손실 때문에 저렴하고 높은 이을 갖는 위상 배열 안테나 시스템을 구현하기가 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 위상천이기를 사용하지 않고 발진기들의 결합을 이용함으로써 이와 같은 단점을 극복하면서 배열 안테나의 복사 빔을 제어할 수 있는 결합발진기 배열 안테나의 최근 기술동향을 분석하고 여러 기술들의 장단점을 기술한다.

  • K-city is an experimental area for developing self-driving cars. V2X communications such as WAVE, C-V2X and 5G are an essential technology for autonomous driving above level 4. In this paper, the research on the V2V communication environment was carried out through BSM receiving level analysis on the driving route in K-city. A stationary vehicle communicated with a test vehicle moving along urban area and suburban road in two different scenarios. The communication range and receiving levels obtained from this study will be used to develop and verify various safety scenarios using V2V communication within K-city in the future.

Collision Avoidance Method Based-on Directional Antenna in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks에서 방향성 안테나기반 충돌 회피 기법)

  • In the case of traffic accidents, the broadcasting methods used in the mobile ad hoc network (MANET) cannot applied to transmit reliable message since moving high-speed in vehicular ad hoc networks (VANET) environments. In this paper, in order to guarantee transmitting reliable messages, we propose a collision avoidance method based-on directional antenna in VANET. In order to reduce interference from omni-broadcasting and to avoid hidden node problem from moving high-speed, we employed a forward-handed and backward directional antenna. The authors simulated the proposed method based on directional antenna and showed that the proposed method has been improved in respect to network utilization compared to existing VANET protocols.

  • This paper proposed an efficient multiple TCP mechanism using Android smartphones for remote control video Wi-Fi stream transmission via network communications in real time. The wireless video stream transmission mechanism can be applied in various area such as real time server stream transmissions, movable drones, disaster robotics and real time security monitoring systems. Moreover, we urgently need to transmit data in timely fashion such as medical emergency, security surveillance and disaster prevention. Our parallel TCP transmission system can play an important role in several area such as real time server stream transmissions, movable drones, disaster robotics and real time security monitoring systems as mentioned in the previous sentence. Therefore, we designed and implemented a parallel TCP transmission (parallel stream) for an efficient real time video streaming services. In conclusion, we evaluated proposed mechanism using parallel TCP transmission under various environments with performance analysis.

헬기의 인공 시계 시스템용 DGPS/INS 통합 항법 플랫폼 설계

  • 본 논문에서는 헬기의 인공 시계 시스템용 DGPS/INS 통합 항법 플랫폼을 설계하였다. DGPS/INS 통합 항법 플랫폼 하드웨어는 PowerPC CPU와 Flash ROM과 DDR SDRAM를 이용하여 설계하였다. DGPS 수신기와 IMU와의 연결을 위한 외부 인터페이스부는 직렬 통신을 사용하는 DGPS수신기와 IMU는 모두 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 직렬 통신 방식인 UART 컨트롤러와 SDLC 컨트롤러를 사용하여 설계하였다. 실시간 운영체제를 기반으로 하는 플랫폼의 소프트웨어는 초기 정렬, 자세 계산, 속도 계산, 위치 계산, 통합 필터, 명령 처리 각각에 대하여 태스크로 구성하고 세마포어를 이용하여 태스크간의 동기가 이루어지도록 설계하였다. 통합 항법 플랫폼의 성능 평가를 위하여 차량 실험을 수행하였으며 상용 항법 시스템의 결과와 비교를 하였다.

  • MOST는 동기식 데이터, 비동기식 데이터, 제어 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 차량용 멀티미디어 네트워크이다. MOST 네트워크에는 높은 대역폭과 동영상이나 오디오를 버퍼링 없이 전송할 수 있는 동기식데이터 영역이 존재한다. 이러한 동기식 영역을 통해 실시간 데이터를 전송하기 위해서는 소스노드와 싱크노드와의 커넥션 및 해당 채널 할당이 요구된다. 본 논문은 이러한 동기식 영역을 사용하기 위한 모듈을 설계한 후 실제 MOST 네트워크를 구축하여 노드 간 동기식 데이터 전송을 위한 절차와 채널 할당에 대한 이해를 돕고자 한다.

  • 최근 데이터 획득 위치에 가장 근접하고, 저 수준의 계산력을 제공하는 엣지 기기를 중심으로 직접 딥러닝 추론을 수행하고자 하는 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 드론에서 촬영한 교통 영상 데이터를 기반으로, 다수의 차량 종류 및 보행자를 식별하는 모델을 Jetson Nano 에 탑재하여 기본 성능을 측정한다. 더불어, 자원제약형 기기 환경에서 TensorRT 와 Deepstream 을 활용하여 객체 식별 모델의 연산 경량화 및 추론 가속화 성능을 극대화하기 위한 구현 및 실험을 수행하여 Anchor-based 및 Anchor-free 객체 식별 모델의 정확도와 실시간 대응력을 평가하고 논의한다.

Today's rapidly changing IT technology with the development of the various features of your phone to check the status of the vehicle was able to do. However, the car's existing phone system, car diagnostic expertise must be learned because it will reveal the status of the vehicle do not have the expertise to not highlight the need for diagnostic. To reflect these points in smartphone users to easily use their own vehicles at a time to determine the status of a system that is required. In this paper, OBD-II protocol conversion WiFi OBD-II connector, retrieving information from the driver of the vehicle replacement cycle of consumables required vehicle inspection, vehicle problems in real-time diagnostic information to the user ease of use shows the IOS implementation in the automotive supply was implemented based on the smartphone.

Deep Learning-based UWB Distance Measurement for Wireless Power Transfer of Autonomous Vehicles in Indoor Environment (실내환경에서의 자율주행차 무선 전력 전송을 위한 딥러닝 기반 UWB 거리 측정)

  • As the self-driving car market continues to grow, the need for charging infrastructure is growing. However, in the case of a wireless charging system, stability issues are being raised because it requires a large amount of power compared with conventional wired charging. SAE J2954 is a standard for building autonomous vehicle wireless charging infrastructure, and the standard defines a communication method between a vehicle and a power transmission system. SAE J2954 recommends using physical media such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and UWB as a wireless charging communication method for autonomous vehicles to enable communication between the vehicle and the charging pad. In particular, UWB is a suitable solution for indoor and outdoor charging environments because it exhibits robust communication capabilities in indoor environments and is not sensitive to interference. In this standard, the process for building a wireless power transmission system is divided into several stages from the start to the completion of charging. In this study, UWB technology is used as a means of fine alignment, a process in the wireless power transmission system. To determine the applicability to an actual autonomous vehicle wireless power transmission system, experiments were conducted based on distance, and the distance information was collected from UWB. To improve the accuracy of the distance data obtained from UWB, we propose a Single Model and Multi Model that apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to the collected data through a three-step preprocessing process.
